Logs
Our plan to spend the day finishing the epic multi at White Rock was curtailed by pest spraying and unexpected fences. So we decided to take a drive down Ripley Road instead. We ended up grabbing a few of the GCLogan caches that Kolour missed on muster day and a few others in and around Flagstone.Because our target multi didn't work out today, I was keen to do another in it's place, so we came here to have a look for this one. At GZ, we looked around a lot of places before we both thought at the same time to check the hint and that made it much easier to find what we were looking for. Moving on to the final and the cache was quickly located and opened. After signing the log we walked back to WP1 to return the tool. We ran into one of the locals while we were here who was taking his dogs for a swim in the creek. After our short walk in the heat of the day, we kind of wanted to join them. I decided to settle on car aircon and an iced coffee from the servo. Thanks for the cache angry blob! I quite enjoyed this nice simple multi with a twist.
After a short walk in White Rock Conservation Park, BrissyCat and I headed down the Undallah Road towards Flagstone finding the new caches along the way.We also decided to find a few of the ones in Flagstone. We spent a few minutes looking for the wp1 container but once we read the hint, it didnt take long to find. We could read the information needed and took the tool to the cache which was nearby. Logbook retrieved, signed and replaced as found. All good here. Then tool returned. Tftc
We had an easy walk to G. Z. Soon spotted what we were after, and after a bit of working out, our name was added to the . Replaced cache as found..Tftc
Previous finder assisted us to find the final as WP1 details no longer existed. We found the container and so placed the final coords back into the cache hide. All good here again.
At Wpt 1, Muggle65 and l had no idea what the washed away writing had said. Luckily we were with a previous finder who took us to GZ. We signed the log then returned to wpt 1 and added a new note with final coords on it. Thank you for the fun
WP1 was found, unfortunately the contains are saturated which means were unable to retrieve the required information.
Found tool but writing was water washed and illegible so did not find final cache
The waypoint was located quickly. The final took a little longer until I found a maintenance log from 2020 with a better hint. Thanks angry blob and have a great Christmas
A while since the last find and a couple of experienced cachers who could not locate the container. Coupled with the amount of water that has been through some of the creeks in this area, this one could benefit from a CO visit to check it is still in place.
Found the first WP after some searching, tried to find the second but had to leave as we got eaten by mozzies, will return another time with mozzie spray to find it!
Flagstone has not been kind to us at all today...
Found WP 1 easily enough... once we reapplied bug spray, again... and forded the stream looked for the final... couldn’t spot it though... perhaps another day...

DNF for Peppa and I at this one. Found WP1 no worries. Had to ford the swollen creek to get to the final. But then no luck. Everything that seemed to be the correct heigh seemed a little far away from the co-ords . Widened our search quite a bit but no luck today.
So today I pick south of the city. And then west of the city. I need some caches out that way, for the 360 from home challenge.
Grannysmith1947 came along for the ride today.
We found 26 caches today. There where one letterbox, multi, 2 mystery and 22 Traditional.
Sorry for the generic log
Cache a day to keep the doctor away, or is it to keep me sane. No it’s to keep my streak alive. angry blob TFTC *542* streak. *3251* Finds

Thank you, angry blob, for placing this cache for our enjoyment.

Possibly still there and buried under the debris. The small lake that was there when the cache was placed doesn't exist anymore so will have to move the final to a better location.
Thought I would give this one a go, found the first WP and made my way to the GZ. Looks like this may have been washed away by the looks of the surroundings.
I spent 5 minutes wandering around to find the first WP. It was full of ants. I then headed to the cache coordinates and spent a long time wandering around and digging through the foliage without finding the cache.
WP1 was a tricky little devil to find. Took a photo of the new coords and we were on our way to the final. Eventually we spotted what we were looking for. All is in great condition here.
Thanks for another fun cache angry blob.

Arrived at wp1 and completely overshot the mark. Hunted around for a few minutes but came up empty. Expanded search significantly and then read the hint.... geo wife had been standing next to it the whole time . 2 dirt bikes raced past . We heard them coming and hustled the geokids off the path. We headed off to wp2 and quickly had cih. This was a fun & easy multi & an easy & short walk from wp1 to wp2. Tftc angry blob xo
Out with Mrs Patrol 14 today to do some maintenance on caches adopted by Logan Geocachers. This was on the list. WP1 was an easier find than the final on this one. Searched until we were convinced we were going nuts and it was going to be a DNF, then decided to contact the owner. Thank you we now have a smile here. Sadly we were looking on the wrong side of the path.

Out for the day with Mrs RoddyC in this area and after collecting the Crazy Scientist caches, went in search of some other caches to find.
Arrived at GZ and searched all likely hides but couldn't locate the cache.
PAF also didn't give us any more clues of its location.
Spent about 30 minutes looking until we had to call it in.
Continued caching in the area until we got a message from CO re hide, so returned to the area and located the cache on the other side of the path.
SL then returned cache to its hide.

Found WP1 and the answer to the second hint. Unfortunately it had been well under water in the last 3 months and no sign of cache. Contacted CO with photo and he agreed that I could log it. Nice one under normal circumstances.
Back in Jimboomba again after 12 months, travelling into North Queensland and the Tip. House sitting next door to old home, souvenirs to collect, so saved a couple around Flagstone to do the job.
Dont recall "Going Nuts" being here last year, but it may have been disabled at the time, anyway, today was the day to collect this cache.
Just as we arrived at the parking area, phone rang, so Mr D spent the entire search "on the phone" We arrived at WP1. and I searched, and searched, before reading the hint. (I don't like to read the hint too early) From that point it was an easy find. Got the coordinated for the rest of the journey, Mr D still on the phone, and made our way a further 50 or so metres. This was a much easier find than the first waypoint. Floating in water, the cache was a bit wet inside, we dried it as best we could with a "blooded" tissue (from the lantana at the last search) signed and returned a little higher than before.
Perhaps angry blog might like to check it again.
Thanks for the hide angry blog, these are parts of Flagstone that I used to walk our beloved Brodie when we lived in Sandpiper Drive.

Out finishing all the caches in Flagstone today.
I bet there will be more soon.
Headed in to find the first WP and it was soon in hand.
With the final coordinates in hand headed to the final.
Had to jump where the creek crossed as it was running with water today.
Arrived at the final and it was having a little swim.
Emptied out the water but the log was nice and dry.
Placed in just above its swimming hole where it is nice and dry.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks angry blob All good with this cache

Found the final point by dead reckoning. Did not find WP 1. Lots of debris near wp1
Out for a tour around the Jimboomba/ Beaudesert region to, hopefully, pick up a few smilies.
A nice little multi which had us about 10 metres off GZ proper.
A quick find all things considered.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

Although the little lake doesn't look like it did when I placed the cache I don't see any drug related items around.
This was a very pleasant walk to the first WP where a quick find was made and then on to WP2 where we were confronted with masses of debris that were in large piles which looked as though they had been cleared back from the track. We searched and searched through these tangled thick debris and finally found the camo which was full of mud and sand and after cleaning we moved it back to the GZ location and replaced log. Thanks angry blob for the neat multi and TFTC
We certainly got to know this park area well from all the caches we have been looking for. WP1 was found without any worries but GZ certainly copped a battering during the flood at the end of March. We repaired and replaced where possible but does need attention. Thanks angry blob for showing us around Flagstone.
Hi Angry Blob: We hope this makes you smile and not frown. There was no sign of anything at GZ after the dreadful flooding at the end of March. We hunted around downstream and managed to find the item that hid the cache from view. Whether it was the original or just another one that will serve the same purpose we don't know, but we cleaned it up, which took quite a while and made us quite muddy, and another member of our group found a screw top bottle that will hopefully keep the log dry, and we placed all of this at GZ to keep it active. The CO might want to return and leave a better container for the log - unfortunately we didn't have anything better with us. We left a flap of log overlapping the thread of the bottle so it couldn't slip inside and become unretrievable. We hope this meets with your approval. Cheers and happy caching!! We had no problem at waypoint 1 and we enjoyed the walk here in this area. Thanks for bringing us here.
TFTC... 27/2/17. Tough Mothers (x5) day out and got tyred looking for it. But easy enough.
Navigation all over the place. Lots of drug equipment scattered through here. Not a nice place for kids.
We went a little nuts trying to find wp1 but got it eventually. Wp2 was a quick find. Tftc
Final cache currently a plastic screw top container until I can find something like the original. You only need the coordinates from WP1 not the tool.
Having trouble finding the same type of container. Will try and find something different over the Christmas break
After a brief search, I located WP1, grabbed the info and tool, then set off in search of the final. On arrival at GZ, I scouted around for 15 minutes or so, to no avail... Hmm, I wonder what I am looking for. [?]
Back into the hunt, I spent another 10 minutes in a couple of different places, before calling it a day. I am not sure whether the water through here has played a part in my cache blindness, but there is a lot of debris at ground level in the final location. I hope all is well and I can drop back another time to tick this one off.

Well this one was fun. I had been out at Mount Joyce for another paddle this morning. I had time after to try and find a few more of the caches around here. I was hoping to stumble across a crashed plane, but no luck with that one yet.
I made my way to the waypoint for this one. A bit of a look and nothing seemed to be obvious. A quick look at the logs and I was looking a bit more closely. Hmm, not that one, or that one. Wow! That was well hidden. Just peeking out a tiny bit.
New numbers and not far to GZ. The GPSr was not quite so accurate at GZ, a bit of bounce, but it only took moments to spot a likely place. Great container. I almost dismissed it.
A favourite point again for your creativity here. It is very pleasant to do something a bit different. [^]

**FTF** Joint FTF with Nature0Nut, Cantcacheus2014 and NED_Q24.
This new listing came through on my phone so NED_Q24 and I decided to brave the rain in an attempt for our 1st FTF. After a bit of looking around with the GPS jumping all over the place we decided to try a different entrance point for a different view. That's when we found Cantcacheus2014 and Nature0Nut, and we decided on a joint search and FTF. It was Nature0Nut that came out with the find of the waypoint and once the coordinates were plugged in and the tool grabbed it was off on the search for the final hide. After a little bit of searching in the area it was NED_Q24 that came up with the find of the final cache. Not bad for our 1st FTF.
Loved the creative idea for this cache. One of the more creative caches I've seen. TFTH!

Today CCU14 and I were out so he could teach me how to triangulate coords properly. As soon as we were getting to some locations to place some caches *BINGBINGBING* notifications came through! We quickly forgot about what we were doing and headed straight for this multi. This was a fun find! TFTC!
