Walked past tonight and the cache was gone. It was a unique container so I will archive it.
Found a lovely white cat when heading down. Finally got a pat on the way back. Nice cache.
Today is one of the last dates on my finds calendar when I have just 3 finds. So the plan was to find a few geocaches. Luckily I had no work. So I decided to come out Rollerston way.
It started to rain a little as I explored this area. Every time I come out this way the town keeps growing. There were no people at the park today.
Find out more about New Zealand's next big event [Oamaru Geofest](http://oamarugeofest2017.wixsite.com/geocachingevent) and come and join us.
Thanks. Bigglesponies for putting in the effort to hide this geocache. This was find 4993 for me.

#2,776: Scary Smiley!
I came to this one with GeoYoungling #3 after the Blame Canada! event. Not too much time for me to get caches, since his tolerance was not so high. Bagged this one using the hint. All in good shape!

After the Canadian Day event I headed out to scoop up all my remaining Rolleston unfound caches. Scary container! TFTC Bigglesponies.
A great morning caching with daughter! We set off rather early and so had a good taste of the frost. As the day went on, the weather progressively warmed up to comfortable temperatures; however, we did not measure the day in degrees but number of finds instead Thank you to all CO's for keeping us busy!!

On this cold, frosty morning, the stars were aligned perfectly... Husband would look after the baby, and mum and I could go out geocaching for the morning! Wahooooooo!!! Perfect, as I need to get the find rate up, but the baby hates being in the car... not very good for caching at all!!!! So a cold early morning start of waking up at 5.30am in order to find as many as possible before the clock hit 12 noon!
Thanks to the lack of sat morning sports, was able to make the find here also.
TFTC!!

Dropping family out this way for a wedding so time for a quick cache. Gorgeous day after heavy rain all week so very happy to see some sunshine. Tftc
Nice to have a new clean log- and the co-ords took us straight to it. Another lovely park- thanks Bigglesponies
19 December 2016 16:07 The beast was friendly so I decided to go to see its friend. The friend didn't bite but looks like he might have had an accident on the logbook as it is rather damp. TFTC Bigglesponies
StreetWalker and I had had a couple of DNFs in the Rolleston area on our last caching raid, so this afternoon we returned to hopefully turn some into , and also to look for some more in both the Crusader and AB series.
After finding the beast, it was only fitting that we also find his friend, so we set off across the field. Quick find in the first place I looked - enjoyed the hide. The log book is quite wet, but fortunately we were able to sign with a felt type pen as the ballpoint was threatening to gouge a hole in the paper. TFTC.

#13434. We had a nice stroll across the park from the beast to its friend. Troodles found the cache right away. On the way back we spotted a couple on the grassy knoll, close to the the beast cache. I wonder if they were there when we were looking for that cache.... TFTC.
Our second find found the beast and it's friend didn't realise it was going to look like that
No work today so a rolleston road trip was on the cards. Taking a break from all the rugby stars. in the first place I looked shame I didn't see it until I'd check all the other possibilities tftc
TFTC. A lovely stroll in the park and chat to a beautiful dog. Then onto make this pleasant discovery.
A favourite point from me, the cache made me smile.
Thanks Bigglesponies for creating the cache.

After not finding the beast of Brookside we attempted to find his friend and we came up trumps. Alot of people and their dogs in the park today but none over this end. Liked the container very well done.
tftc found with rayzr2 and chiko1

Spent a fun day caching with Paddle Chick, found lots of awesome caches, thanks to all the CO's
Log was jammed right to the bottom of the container, even with tweezers it was tricky to get it out. TFTC

I spent the morning finding a mixture of Trads and Puzzles in Rolleston. I found pretty much everyone I looked for, but the odd one eluded me. TFTC
With 2 DNFS under me belt I needed a cache. just one or may be two. 1 DNF was due to working muggles near by and the 2nd I just couldn't lay my hands on it. I wandered across the spacious grounds with not a soul to be found. Located the gz and it put me in private property. So waited for the gps to settle and boom the beasty was j hand and the log retrieved ..signed the log. Thanks for bringing me here to this place, TFTC Bigglesponies , from Mr Cuddly Brick (or MCB if is a small log), 27 April 2016, cache number #1323!
Quick find. Had a crack when this was first published but I think it was disabled. Quick find this time.
Seems summer hasn't quite departed yet, a gorgeous warm day and no better way to enjoy it than with a bike ride around town to collect some caches. A nice easy find although the log book is a tad damp and starting to fall apart a bit.
Many thanks for placing the cache.
Many thanks for placing the cache.
A nice stoll and find. No games or canines in evidence, sweet, The log is slightly damp, may get damper over winter.
Found on a nice day for a drive in the country.
Thanks to all the CO's for their hides.

Lots of folks having fun tonight, cricket nets in action, people running, soccer practice and a geocacher. Cheers
Came to Rollerston on the hunt for the just published Town of the future but thought why not grab a couple of others at the same time. This was the next and GZ was almost deserted apart from one lone exerciser who was luckily far enough away from GZ to pose no problem. Nice quick find and sign.
This was one of the caches we found on our South Island homeward journey from Picton after 3 weeks touring around the North Island in our camper van. Our thanks to the many CO's for the many great caches and placements which diverted us to many great locations. Sorry for the generic log, but so many caches to log. TFTC
7235. On our way to Ashburton for a three day geocaching trip with granddaughter Stella. Did some caches on the way. This was cache find number five of eleven for the day. A quick and easy find after a short search. Not too beastly!! Thanks. Rodney and Iris.
Scary!!!! A quick find and glad of that in the biting southerly. What a wonderful park.!! So much space. The spring nearly had us fooled. Thanks.

...last week when I dnf'd this Cache moments after it was Archived; as I drove away I spotted the CO so stopped for a chat. She had this Cache in her hand, I'd missed her picking it up by a couple minutes! Looked like it had been chewed by a dog. Kept an eye on the Cache page and saw it get re-enabled late this arvo. Busy cooking tea so nothing doing; but I was heading out to an Event later...maybe I'd leave a little bit earlier?! Stars and planets aligned and I was able to leave a little bit earlier so headed off into the blustery evening in the opposite direction to the Event! Soon at gz. A dude practicing his cricket bowling but all good to make a quick find and sign.....and a 'fake' phone call was made to walk back past him again back to the car (so I didn't look like too much of a Wally with walking in then out past him within a couple minutes!!!!)...cheers. Cache should be fine this time!

Took a walk past this afternoon and the cache had been completely trashed. Swines. I will have a think as to whether to replace or not.
