Hi South-West,
This cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache can be addressed as well as to remove it from search listings.
**Please note that caches disabled during the current COVID19 crisis you will be given some extra time to react as we recognise that CO's can't just pop out and fix the issue,** Caches where the cache owner does not currently feel safe to maintain will not be archived.
Should you feel it safe for you to maintain and address this cache now, AND your regional Health and Governmental authorities allow it, please feel free to do so. Alternatively, what you need to do is place a Write Note log indicating a date when you you expect you might be able to attend to the issue/s.
**When I next check on the cache, if there is no acknowledgment from the CO as request above, the cache will most likely be de-listed (Archived).**

The last stop on the great ocean road on our way to Melbourne. After dinner and a nice crepe for dessert we went back to the hotel. On our way back we went for this cache. It was quickly found but took some effort to grap it. Nice hiding path near the sea. Thanks for the cache.
Victoria Day 6: The Great Ocean Road from Geelong to Apollo Bay
Today’s the day we set off on our Great Ocean Road journey from Melbourne. The plan is to spend two days traversing the route from east to west, and enjoy the sights as we go along. The first stop was Geelong for some caches, food and the views, before heading down the road for lunch at Lorne and finally resting at Apollo Bay. Great views and great sights along the way, which we thoroughly enjoyed.
This is the specific log for this cache:
An interesting set of sculptures here, but took me a while to find the host of the cache amongst the pack. Thanks for bringing me round to this nice beach and for the cache!

The Sims_family all headed down to the other side of Lorne today to grab a new Earthcache that really has mum's attention. Before heading home to Lara we stopped in this park for a picnic lunch. While mum was arranging the sandwiches dad had a quick check of the app and fond this little guy only 100m away. A quick walk to GZ and the cache was spotted in no time at all.
Thank you South-West for the cache

We were down in Lorne scouting out a couple of likely spots for an end of year break up for our little Joey Scouts. At GZ we had to wait out a couple of groups of schoolies kids, then we quickly made the find. TFTC South-West
In Lorne we’ve been having a stopover on our way along Great Ocean Road.
While the family was amusing at the near playground, I grabbed this cache . TFTC!

This cache is carrying a Needs Maintenance attribute, but it would seem to have had some action on behalf of the CO by a good Samaritan 'Riddell ', so it fortunately lives for another day.
However, there still remains the issue of the 'Needs Maintenance' attribute, which should be removed by the cache owner as well as Enabling the cache.
You need to post an "Owner Maintenance" log - see here; [**Remove the “Needs Maintenance” icon**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) so that the Needs Maintenance attribute is removed and then Enable the cache: [**Disable and enable a geocache.**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=search&q=enable&area=kb)
Because of the 'Needs Maintenance' attribute, it is still appearing on my listings - **I've removed it for you this time. The cache has also been Enabled.**
Your prompt attention to any log that indicates things could be amiss will be warmly welcomed and appreciated by all seekers, and your future assistance in this aspect of geocaching will be greatly appreciated.
The cache has been replaced today, owner has been notified and needs to re enable the cache please.
Container replaced today, as we were nearby and had a perfect replacement.
Owner has been notified and needs to re enable the cache.
Note: can finders please ensure the cache is well pushed under so it can not be seen by muggles,
to ensure its longevity.

###**CACHE OWNER ACTION REQUIRED PLEASE**###
----------
Hi there Cache Owner,
This cache has come to my notice as there is a 'Needs Maintenance' log that that indicates there is some sort of issue with the placement and it needs your attention please.
Check out the Guidelines here: [**cache owners responsibilities.**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines#listingmaintenance) If you can't attend to the issue promptly, then you need to [**Disable the cache**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235) - I have Disabled it for you this time.
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) within 14 days,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:
- Check on the cache, repair and/or replace the cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (within 14 days). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. For ongoing issues (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to speed.
- If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will unfortunately have to de-list (Archive) it on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

After doing a maintenance run on some of our caches in Apollo Bay, we decided to take advantage of the beautiful sunny afternoon and drive around to Lorne. Had a good hunt around the area, but nothing. Might need checking??
Random geocaching on our 4 month road trip Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, Tasmania Adelaide, Alice Springs and back to Perth with Tessplus3, Hippo380, The Great Patrinie (TGP)& Bellarina. TFTC
Cache still there, found in the dirt as no magnet like previous finder mentioned. Found a suitable replacement for the magnet.
66th official day of our Australia Lap. With UMeHedgiE, Hippo380, the Great Patrini and Bellarina.

This geocacher reported that there is a problem with this cache. With the DNFs it's perhaps time for the CO to check but they haven't been active for some months. Thanx
Had a fair hunt around but couldn’t find anything. May have been hunting in the specific area.
Got close but think it gone
See photo lots of people Easter Market was very busy

Nòthing for us today. Checked the sign, checked the four pack and didn't come up with anything. Thanx
We did a day trip from Apollo Bay to check out the shops and caches in Lorne. I had a DNF on this cache a while ago, mainly because I ran out of time. So I was determined to find him this time around. I had to hunt a bit for this little chap and did wonder if I would succeed, but persevered. Not where I expected him to be, but I was able to scratch my initials on the tiny log.
With a day to myself I headed down the coast in the general direction of Lorne to collect a few caches in that area. The most difficult parts of this cache was finding a parking spot and dodging all the muggles. Thanks for highlighting the NSP. TFTC South West
Too many muggles around over the weekend but early this morning the park was virtually deserted & the hide unguarded.
Looked for this on Sunday but there was a mega Muggle picnic in geo zone went back this morning and found easily think magnet must have come detached so placed in safe place with stone covering
Tried this one briefly last night until a muggle child started playing with the dogs and his dad was giving me weird looks. Today, even though literally every muggle and his dog was here for what looks like a surf event I managed to make the find. Tftc
My husband and I were staying at the nearby Mantra for the weekend from Brisbane and after breakfast we decided to find this cache. What a cute spot this is with the dog sculptures. I love it. Found the cache after a short hunt. Thanks for taking us here and for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
Sorry for the delayed log.
Staying with friends for a couple of days at Lorne, I was up early and wandered into town for a coffee. Very few people about this early so I could search happily. Looked about for a bit before reading the hint and I soon had this little one in hand. Thanks for the cache, South-West.

Heading back to our holiday accomodation in Anglesea from Wye River with Ava from Beavar. We stopped in Lorne for some arvo tea and a cache. Surprisingly Lorne was relatively quiet on this hot afternoon. Nice hide which we found with quickly and SL at 4pm. #5895 TFTC South-West
Tftc! We have one this size at home in Canada! This was easier to find without the snow
Great find, definately a nano with no pencil.

Thanks for the quick cache, found at 7am before mountain to surf run before the crowds arrived . Fortunately the dogs didn't give me away.
After we enjoyed a nice long walk along some waterfalls we went down to the beache for a rest, but not after searching and finding this nano.
A nice quick find whilst waiting on our fish and chips in this high muggle area a very small micro that is magnetic. TFTC
We were in Lorne this weekend and realised we hadn't logged our finds from our previous visit last year! This was a quick grab after enjoying the local artwork. TFTC

A trip east to Parkville 2018 had us stopping on the way to collect a few caches and again stopping on the way home. Well that’s what cachers do when they head to a mega don’t they.

My first trip to Australia! Visiting my girlfriend. Came to this area at 11pm after dinner, was so much colder than I expected. Quickly found the cache, but didn't know it had been replaced with a nano, she we had nothing to sign the log with. Tried to come back the next day, but too many people around, and unfortunately had to leave. Great cache though
A quick do d but tricky to get log out of cache. Got there after several rolls.Tftc
You know, after the disappointing DNF last time, I didn't think I would see this one again. But in the area today on a beautiful Saturday afternoon, with visitor numbers swelling. I made the find immediately and my friends were shocked at the micro size. Thanks South West good to be back.
A great day out caching over this side of the country.
Enjoying the sights as we travel around.
Thanks for sharing this spot.

An easy find, reading the clue! What a beautiful town, although I rather the white beaches of Home. Still, a lovely place to be on our wedding anniversary TFTC
Jenno3, kenare and I headed down this way for lots of laughs and a few caches. We have taken so many detours I'm surprised we made it here at all!! Finding the cache was the easiest part for us, these logs are so much easier when they have the metal pin in them. Tftc
We made it to Lorne after a few stops along the way. Finding this one was easy enough, extracting the log was an entirely different matter, lol. Tftc
Road tripping with kenare and kenbryl today to this area. Lots of muggles around but we managed to locate the cache quickly.... however getting the log out was a whole different story. Tried all sorts of things finally found a stick to do the trick Tftc
This cache seems to be missing. It has been replaced with a nano and a new logbook. Happy finding.
An 80 year old bushfire[?][?]
Apparently the ageing Bushfire aka Red Ant was having an 80th birthday party and since I owed him a mug or two, I really wanted to attend.
So Rex and I headed off in the Corolla for what ended up being a 4 day road trip to Geelong, Warrnambool and back to Shepparton during which I finally finished the Victorian Premiers whereigo [^][|)]
Had some great company exploring around Geelong prior to the birthday event, we attended 2 flashmobs and yes... I even managed to get pulled over by the police in Geelong (apparently a case of mistaken identity ) on the way to the 3am flashmob and the other geocachers in the car in front of me didn't even realise and just left me! [:o)][:o)]
The next day Rex and I spent ages in the Botanic Park doing a Bushfire multi and sadly we had to bother to CO for a nudge (with a bloody hammer). Then to cap it off, a muggle found the cache for us
I finally got to drive on the GOR and I have to say that I was so glad that I wasn't on my motorbike as it was rainy and blowing a gale for almost the whole road
We saw glow worms [^] and thoroughly enjoyed clear skies and no rain as we did so [^] although bering in there on my own at 2.30am was a bit freaky , then the moment we got back in the car, the rain and wind started again
We spent the night on the way to Warrnambool on the side of the road only to find in the morning that we'd been sleeping right on the edge of a cemetery
All in all an amazing, scenic and fun trip [^] where there was 6 DNFs and 63 cache finds over the 4 days
As I am about 8 months behind in logging, I'm resorting to template logs to catch up.
My heartfelt thanks to the COs who have placed some tricky, funny, exercise required, scary, interesting and devious caches in some amazing spots! [^]
Rex and I have had some amazing adventures and enjoyed some incredible moments thanks to this fantastic hobby

We were so spooked at the tales of all the deadly and poisonous stuff in Australia, that we were hesitant to pull this one from its hiding spot. But nobody died, so it's all good! What a fun little town! tftc!
