After finding the correct Featherstone drive it was a quick walk to a very dapper looking monument TFTC
Had a brief moment of confusion driving to this cache as there are 2 apparently disconnected sections of Featherstone Drive you can turn into in the vicinity. Nothing paying proper attention to the map didn't solve.Found the replacement cache with no issues. Spent a few minutes reading about the area and the interesting sculpture at the nearby information sign. TFTC
I don't remember seeing this one on my last visit, or maybe I ignored it because of the number of dnfs. However, I see the container has been replaced now, so I made the most of a sunny morning and enjoyed a walk to this tucked away little park, I hadn't known existed before today. No problems making the find here. Thanks for setting it up

Unfortunately scoured around for this one to no avail so have replaced with a small pill bottle (as per hint, no more than 2 metres from GZ) so the Alphabet continues. Terrific!!! TFTC

Well I would never have known this park was here otherwise. Interesting Maori history too. TFTC.
The locals weren't very friendly, first attempt a locked gate into park. Then next track private, residents only. Finally found my way in. Loved the maori totem. Wet log. TFTC
Amazing place of Historical significance .
The geo dogs would enjoy a run around too. Good for flying a kite today!
Thanks!

Thanks!
Needed an area with a few caches to wak tonight...this area has grown a bit since I used to cache in Hamilton regularly so had a few to find. Nice grass space with am interesting history...cache quickly located. Tftc
A quick easy find near an interesting pou. The log was very wet, but waterproof anyway? TFTC
#536. I drive this way each day but never knew this park was there. It provides a good idea of just how huge the retirement village development next door is. Great green area hidden away. Very quiet today. TFTH.
Found. Have never visited this park and we live across the from it. Thanks for bringing us here. Lid was missing from container so it was a little wet.
Enjoying caching in Hamilton and the walk to this cache. Took the time to read about the structure. Cache definitely need maintenance. No lid and wet log. TFTC
What an amazing day! Set off to the Waikato with intentions to meet up with NZFlossy and TNXPro but somehow didn't see either of them - instead I managed to alternate my caching partners between Mr & Mrs Tryfyn & KayDeeGee and then Davidson Clan & Squirrel Nutcase for the late shift. I had a great time at both of the Hamilton events and enjoyed catching up with the locals here and from home. Lastly - a big 'thank you' to the CO's that made 2018's International Geocaching Day so awesome.
The cache was found quickly and in good condition thanks to accurate coords and a straight forward placement. The hint was pretty handy too - Cheers iammrwalker, TFTC

With work finishing up mid-morning today, I decided to make the most of the remainder of the day and head down to Hamilton for some cache detection. I parked up and made my way into this park. I tried to take the direct route but found a yawning chasm between myself and the hide. A bit of an explore lead me to a safer option for crossing over. Once at GZ I admired the large pole and associated artistic efforts. I was initially concerned for the cache's safety as a tree had fallen into the chasm and knocked over a section of fence. Lucky, the cache had escaped the devastation and was quickly found nearby. As others have said, cache is nix a lid and the log book is wet and muddy. The CO might want to check on the situation. Cheers for the cache placement!
A good job the paper is waterproof! Cache lid is gone and logbook is very muddy and in need of TLC. TFTC.
Located this one during a visit over the hill to grab a few more smilies in the Waikato. Nice houses in this area. No problem with the find TFTC.
Lived in this area for 13 years bit never been to this park. Cache has no top and pretty wet but still could sign
TFTC.
TFTC.
Nice wee find. The inner container has no lid but waterproof log book is in perfect condition!

A lovely midweek visit to Hamilton to meet up with Sarahbee20 and score some caches in this area. This was a nice stroll over to the cache location which we needed after our high tea stop at Zealong! A great little hide and an interesting read about the structure there. Tftc
A midweek visit from Kathykaches and what else to do but go out and score some caches. Have been out to high tea at Zealong and now getting some more caches this side of Hamilton. Nice walk over to GZ across this large but completely empty park. Nice quick find by KK as I was looking in the wrong place. Cool container. Interesting structure here that we had a look at as we were leaving. Thanks for the cache
I had to be in Hamilton for work, so I thought I would try to grab some easy caches on the way. Thanks.
A fond revisit to this park. I remembered the multi that used to be here, I think it might have been one of my first multis and so made a complete mess of it. This find was a lot quicker and easier. Spied the cute container on approach, although it has had some damage it still works. I think lifted out the log container and just about had a heart attack. The hugest spider I have ever seen lunged out at me, fangs bared, ready to savage me. I screamed, took a photo, signed the log and then put it back together before getting out of there quick smart.
Had an appointment on the north side of town and some time to kill, so decided to ignore that I need to go supermarket shopping etc etc and instead catch up on some caching while I'm here. Nice morning for a gentle saunter to the cache. Thought I might have approached the wrong way but luckily, was spot on. Log signed & replaced, TFTC
In the area onto a new cache and better do this one. GPS all over the place. Eventually managed to narrow the area down and saw the hints object. Tftc
I came at this one from the wrong side at first, but then circled and found the right way to get to GZ. Cute container. TFTC.
Sent Mr 11 in after this one. Cool cache, but ants had made a home inside. They were quickly evicted so we could sign the log.
Out and about early (for us!) on a Saturday. Have looked at this many times but couldn't agree on an entry point. Having a bit of time up our sleeves today we decided to try it out. Never realised this was here & we were pleasantly surprised when we came around the corner! Interesting bit of history. Cache found relatively easily but was coated in sand/dirt inside & out. Cleaned it out as best we could. Log is in good condition though. Awesome container. The youngest team member was impressed! TFTC!
Found it with a school class. I'm proud to say that I was the one who found it. My first advanced cache, being a new member. TFTC
Saw this place from across the river while trying to find the elusive Te Totara Panorama so decided to cross the river to find it. An interesting location that I reckon could be made more attractive and no doubt in time this may happen as people become more aware of it and the area is used more.
Didn't even know this park was here. Had a read of history info on way back to car. Cache was wet, but log book all good! Thanks for the cache.
Found while out on a lovely walk. Log a bit wet but not too bad. Signed log and returned as found. TFTC
The grass was short on the approach to here and the ground surprisingly firm, so no wet feet. Managed to complete the mission in between showers.
Had some time up my sleeve but only armed the smartphone, these have nothing on an actual gps.
Anyway made a dash across the park in the rain and did some backwards and forwards walking before finally settling on the likely gz, then quickly found the cache.

A bit of a lunchtime mission this one. I rushed home from bosses office in queenwood to nuke my lunch and grab some things, discovered that I've managed to lose my GPSr somewhere. Typical right!? Armed with a phone and bangers and mash, made way to GZ to find the tree infested with paperwasps... Don't worry there's still a safe way to the cache, it seems they don't like the shadow wood. Strange.
Streak day seven. Only three more days until I beat my streak record. Certainly not going for 365 days...

Have been here a while ago. Interesting park. Only person around was a painter working on one of the bordering houses. Novel container. Thanks very much iammrwalker.
First road trip for a while and making my way North. Enjoying a variety of caches all adding to the fun of this trip. A quick find here. TFTC
Thought we would check for caches while at the park and located this one. Unfortunately didn't have a pen on me to write in the late log book. Tftc
Once again geocaching took us to a park we had no idea existed. Another dot day down. TFTC
Today these two thought to tackle the Taupiri tramp (terrible timing, top temperature), thinking time to try T too.
Traversed town, traipsed toward totara and totem, toting trusty tablet. Tiptoed through tangled, thorny telltale trail.
Tried tactually (it means by feel) - triumph! Tiny Tim topped treasure trove, tidily tucked.
Tempted to try tyrannosaurus trinket - too tubby. Took troublesome 'ticky (not really cheating) things too tenuously tethered. Try tape?
Terrific, takes today's tally to two. Time to travel to Taupiri to trek to top.
Thanks.

Had seen the monument from the other side and wondered how to get here, now I see...TFTC
Early morning trip to find a cache while out running. Had always wondered how to get to this spot, after seeing the park from the other side of the river for the last few months.
1420 Today Jan Twenty Two twas the time to track this. Took time to find the park. Then trekked to the totara. The bird house nearby was worth a visit but twas not the cache. Then cache was then located. Thought the container was tremendous. Then twas to the TV to watch the Black Caps.
With Gap (of Fap and Gap)... Heading to Auckland (Hauraki Gulf) for a caching adventure on Browns Island. There seems to have been a mini explosion of caches that really need to be dealt to. This is our driving mission today...
The sun was already mercilessly beating down on us, and it was still quite early in the day. The walk over open ground was a bit of a mission. But we were rewarded with a historic information panel to read. Shortly thereafter, we thought it best to find the reason for our being here... A short scramble and an interesting container later... TFTC.

10.25am - Interesting bit of local history here and then a scramble into the bushes to claim cache. SLTFTC
Aha, been here a number of times for various caches, nice pleasant walk to GZ, where could the cache be, lets follow the well formed geotrail, and there it was, nice container.
A small detour, well a small Geocacher's detour from what I was doing this morning to get this one. It's nice to revisit places especially when there's a new cache that been placed there. No trouble finding the cache and had only taken a few steps from the bushes when a muggle walked past walking her dog/rat, so timed that one pretty good. Thanks for the hide, I think this is the last alphabet cache I need for the series.
Nice hide abit of a wet walk but what a cache great Pick it up with EyeSpyBen so was {3rd} thanks. Gets a Favourite

So tell me, why was Mrs Dragon laughing (in pain) when I said I just had to pop out? I know, unbelievable!
Having spent the day over in Tauranga at the event there, grabbing a couple of caches and catching up with friends I didn't see this published till we got home and as thought that others
