Great view. Nice easy find cache, although I would have felt more comfortable wearing joggers than thongs while picking my way through the dry grassy undergrowth to GZ. TFTC
Not as far as you think from the edge of the rest stop.. its an easy find container as its bigger
Took a fair bit of time before I realised I didn’t need to trek literally through bushes to get to the right spot! A nice pull-in off the road to enjoy the view. TFTC
Have driven past this place so many times and finally stopped for a look. A nice, easy little find, thank you
This find gave me the final Wonder. I love this time of the year when everything is so green.
The pit stop has changed a lot now. All sealed and three lanes wide.
I parked up and went bush following geo / toilet trails only to arrive at GZ seeing the easy way out. TFTC team

Today our tour - which began in Perth, WA , and led us thru Western, Northern and Southern Australia back to Perth, was simply cruising from Geraldton to Kalbarri.
On the way we came to some interesting locations. Here we searched, found and logged this Tradi-Cache.
Weather was good in the morning and it should even get better during the day.
Thanks to 'beckNmonts & Miss-Placed & Gabs1963' for showing us this location, for the fun we had with 'Pit Stop with a View' and the smiley. The search here and today didn't take too much time, fortunately.
Greetings from Germany and we hope to see you soon in the forest.

Found this reasonably easily. Tftc
Container is very brittle and really needs to be replaced unfortunately I didn't have anything that I could use.

Thank you! Making my way from Kalbarri to Geraldton. Couldn't help but make another stop on the way for a cache.
Hi there Miss-Placed.
We found your cache **"Pit Stop with a View"** at 12:29:00 PM today. (This makes our find count 22634).
We are staying in Geraldton for a few days catching up with friends. When we had a free moment we started our caching run by nominating a cache some distance from our camp site and then took a route that was sometimes determined by the next closest cache according to our GPS. We thoroughly enjoyed our interesting trek around the local area. Thanks also for not placing a mint tin or a 200ml Sistema here. It made us feel really good to find this "special" cache here.
We ended up finding a variety of container types, and sizes hidden along our route. (14 finds today & 1 DNF's). Thanks for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our nomadic travels around Australia.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 3m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

On the way from Geraldton to Kalbarri we searched and found one or the other geocache. Most could be found well. Thanks to the Owner for laying the geocach.
Pretty view, co ords are a few meters out but still a great easy find for the kids. Thank you
A quick find here on our way back from Kalbarri. Great views but so many flies! Thank you for the cache.
It was really cool! It was a very good hiding spot for it! We really loved the beautiful view as well.
Great views but way to many flys around to fully enjoy so this was a quick park and sign. Tftc
Found scattered all around the place but no log so left a piece of paper there to sign

While this is a good spot for a cache, I think this pit stop is definitely used as such. Hopefully the cache will last. TFTC
All very embarrassing as we surprised a muggle, relieving himself, oh well at least it wasn’t on the cache
Magnificent views and a quick find.
In Geraldton for a couple of days of geocaching.
TFTC beckNmonts & Miss-Placed & Gabs1963 this is find # 5089 for us.

We are slowly working our way south on our way back to Victoria. Last night in Northampton and onto Geraldton for a few days. The incentive to continue south is not very high when we look at the weather forecast. Maybe we should turn around and head back to Brokme. Only problem with that up we have cleaned out all the caches up there. The further south we travel, the more caches there are for us to find!
It's good to find a nice sized container, lately we seem to run across heaps of nano's in the bush. Certainly not our favourites. This was a nice quick stop, plenty of parking for our caravan, a great view and a decent sized cache.

A quick find and we were indeed impressed with the views from here. Everything was so green and lush looking and then there was the mountain range and small conical shaped hills.
Thanks.
Thanks.
TFTC nice easy find. Not the most idyllic locations. Felt like i was in a toilet. What a shame
Keeping up with our New Year’s Eve tradition of geocaching with Team Ball.
If there’s an easy way and a hard way to get to a cache we will always take the hard way hahahaha

When i saw how much toilet paper and flies there were at this stop i decided to give it a miss. People are disgusting.
Thanks for putting a cache here. Had no idea of the terrain below. GPS wandered a bit but cache was found eventually.
Found at 9:39:00 AM. A quick stop for morning tea while travelling from Denham to Geraldton.
Thanks Miss-Placed.
Thanks Miss-Placed.
Found while enjoying an extended break in Geraldton from my travels. A quick drive by. TFTC.
We were staying with muggle friends at Nanson and they wanted to know a bit more about Geocaching so we joined forces with ProspectorsWA and headed out for a days caching.
We hadn't done a lot of planning for this trip, we were just picking up random caches so we didn't have a garbage with us to pick up any rubbish which was a shame because the area certainly needs it. It also looks like people have taken to using it as a toilet stop.
It never ceases to amaze us how filthy some people can be.
At least the view was still here to admire and also a cache to locate which was found quite easily and our names have been added to the log.
Thanks for the cache.

Picked up on route from Perth to Exmouth. We believe this one will give us an extra LGA hence we had to call in. Even dug out my 3 year old Hutt River pen, which King Leonard himself sold me, to sign the log. TFTC.
Day 2 of our mini road trip and still in town doing some more caching. Today's plan tackle Alexander series then head to Northampton, Nabawa, and Nanson then back to Gero.
Have a few caches on my list so fingers crossed we can manage as many as possible
Turns out another warm day in town and I didn't pack my shorts
Have to admit muggle is good at this as he found it first
Wow what a view
TFTC Took TB
Shame about the mess near GZ

Another quick find on the way to gero today. Cache all good. tftc beckNmonts & Miss-Placed & Gabs1963
As were travelling south today we thought we would just pick up a random selection of caches that were along our route. This was a good find, but it is very disappointing that so many people leave so much rubbish around, even in a place with such a beautiful view. Our thanks go to Miss-Placed for looking after this cache, which was in good condition when we found it.
Thanks for this one Miss-Placed. Cache and log in good condition but likely to need rubber gloves to pick up some of this rubbish; I think we know where quite a bit of it has been.
Den Ort besucht und den Cache schnell gefunden. Besten Dank fürs Verstecken und greetings from Switzerland.
Found it on our way from Coral Bay to Geraldton.
Quick find.
Thank you very much

Found on our great Australian adventure. Yes, a beautiful view. And yes, sadly, quite a lot of rubbish. TFTC and greetings from Switzerland.
Headed out early this morning with iluvtrekking with Nanson and surrounds as our destination. Of course there were other various locations to explore along the way and some great caches. Thanks becknmonts
We had a wonderful day today exploring the countryside around Geraldton looking for history, flowers and caches.
Thanks for the cache and the view across the valley becknmonts.

TFTC! Today was day two of the "boys weekend" with me and Cravo heading up to Geraldton for IGD 2016, my third trip to this great part of our state and johns second. Think we will continue to do this every year? Especially with all of the new caches getting published around town!!
We picked up a number of new caches along the route and even some that we had missed on previous visits, being in a 4wd this year made it a lot easier to get to some of the hard to reach places that a 2wd would struggle to get to.
Started day two meeting up with Kyzabra, Jinta, Grannett, SVKR, M4YB, clan Wallace and others to grab some orange tree series caches. We grabbed two and missed two, with safety being a first
Priority, two of them were just simply too high up even with some pretty series ladders!!
We then headed out to Nanson, Nabawa and finally to Northampton to complete the Nabawa Bound caches and everything Inbetween whilst dodging cyclists on the "tour de Geraldton" as we dubbed it. Was some really nice country driving today, this is way I love about caching, getting out and seeing the state on remote country roads.
We headed into Northhampton and found our first cache at the window entrance to town, and were surprised not to see the motley crew of Kyzabra, Jinta, Grannett and SVKR as they were heading to Northampton from the orange tree series so I thought it only fitting to leave them a nice little note in the logbook. We grabbed a couple of other caches around town and were met up by the motley crew at one of them, before we basically joined forces to grab the caches between Northampton and Geraldton. With six sets of eyes the caches didn't really stand much of a chance, although we did have to PAF at one!!
We made our way back into town and grabbed a bunch of caches with the motley crew along the Alexander trail where we signed logs at team PGC, don't really know what it means but that's what we signed the first fifteen or so with until the motley crew decided they need lunch and went their own way and we continued to finish the series and met up with other cachers further down who were out enjoying the sunshine.
Grab a couple of other "must do" caches the chirp chirp cache (highly recommended), Roxy rotunda (previous multiple DNF), something fishy (think we've tried for about five times!!) which was great as we had no DNFs which is very good for Geraldton!!
After lunch we headed back to the room to get ready for the event, arriving slightly later than planned we were only there for a short time before caches were published!! Someone announced twenty four emails had come though and I loaded the map and started running north to the nearest cache, gaining some valuable meters on the competition
It was like a scene from the IKEA ad, with Cravo asking if he should get he car and me yelling back "GET THE CAR!!" So I legged it to the first cache and he got the car and picked me up, it was the first of about fifteen FTFs for the day, we
Completed all of the caches north of the event and then looped back around to grab the caches furthest north and then back toward the event. We had a couple of DNFS Which was disappointing.
We headed back to the event and had the pleasure of completing some of geraldtons finest caches, the shake rattle roll, emergency were awesome. We were one of the few teams that actually didn't need the CO to assist by bringing the key!! Definitely a favourite and probably easier doing it with a beer in hand by the foreshore!!
After finishing the event we had a quick drive out to grab the new plane caches, got 3/4 there and then headed down to the water to complete he whereigo cache (highly recommended) and the two traditionals on the walk. Can't wait for tomorrow's adventure.
Thanks to the local COs for their caches

Headed to Geraldton for the International Geocaching Day event on Saturday 20th August.
Barnzy12 and I packed the car at 6am and headed North. Despite making a critical error by choosing the freeway to start the journey we then made it to Geraldton and checked into the motel.
Today was day two and started with a little tree climbing caches with a group of others.
We then headed further north today prior to returning to gero for the event at 2pm.
