Had every intention of replacing this one but have struggled to find a suitable replacement container. The area it was hidden has changed for the worse since its placement, so I think it's time to let this one go.
Mum was in the area for work, and had time for a walk (cache!) in the afternoon before dinner.
Mum figured what she was looking for - but nothing of the sort was snuffling around GZ today

We searched the grasses, but not the flax - but could find no sign of Pinky today.
Quick find where all good at GZ. Thanks for another smilie

Took me ages to get this creature to discharge the log !
Went back to car so I could operate in comfort and privacy!
Finally !
What were you thinking iammrwalker!

Cool one! Took me a while to get the log out . Great hide, thanks. Here ends my little caching stroll with geodog as my car should be ready to be picked up now. Tftc
Tom, Tom, the piper's son, stole a pig and away did run. And all the tune that he could play was 'Over the Hills and Far Away'...Easy find but a hell of a job getting Pinky to give up the loot. TFTC. FP.
There’s the little piggy, took quite an effort to get the inner container out of the outer container. Thanks for bringing us here
We tell no porkies when we say, there was nobody in sight while we grabbed the cache [8]
Trying to keep my streak up of finding at least 1 cache a day - so today I stopped here on my way home from work to find this cache. Was after 5 so luckily the area was deserted and I could search in peace. Quick find but I think the difficulty rating must reflect how difficult it is to get the inner container out of the outer container...took me about 10 mins I reckon cool cache. TFTC
this was going to be a big day the aim was to get to 100, we didnt quite make it but we werent rushed and didnt start until around 9am, the weather was on our side and got a little burnt even with all the sunscreen I had on, hubby did all the driving and didnt whine once, but this was my christmas gift so it wouldnt have been fitting, thank you to the COs and the effort put into putting out the caches for us to find, we replaced logs where we could.
After a short search, I got my hands on the cache container. This could be one of G--2's caches in name and in cleverness. I tried several ways to get to the log, and was even tempted to go back to the Geovan to get one of my ToTTs (a hammer). But first, I applied some random transposition logic (vigorous shaking) and the cache was in my hands. TFTC.
TFTC! Easy to locate the cache.... However getting the log out of the container is another story! After many attempts and nearly giving up Success! Interesting container, very entertaining.
Leaving hamilton, on my way up to Auckland airport today & decided I'd collect this cache rather than driving by like I do every day on my way home from work, when the traffic is backed up and I never want to get out of my place in the queue...
So round the 1 way corner I turned and quickly found a possie to park. Walking back to GZ, I quickly found something rather strange. Yay it was the hide for the hide! Took me a while to actually retrieve the cache, but once signed I was quickly on my way again. hmmm. I still have time to stop for another cache... where should that be...

A nice and easy find at night. But getting the log out of the container... I nearly gave up, but somehow (share luck - trust me) I managed to get it out. TFTC
This was a real funny cache quickly located the cache thanks to the good clue but then it must have taken us a good 15 mins to get the log sheet out sure am glad it was dark and all the muggles were in bed asleep.
Log signed PAD fav for the entertainment of trying to get log sheet.

An impromptu all night affair with no muggles, no traffic and all the parking we could want! Set off with ApacheD & Davidsonclan around 7pm finding a couple sneaky Tauranga caches before starting the 'Hamilton Assault' It was a productive 10 hours in spite of the weather & DNFs. Signed our logs as PAD to save time and log space.
Well, the cache was found quickly but getting the log out proved to be very tricky indeed. I just had no luck tonight and it would have been hilarious to watch. Cheers iammrwalker, TFTC.

Driving through Hamilton we stopped to find this cache. Found easily enough but we spent quite a bit of time back in the car extracting the log. We all laughed at each other as we all had a turn. Finally shaking vigorously was the best approach. TFTC
If the dog could have laughed he would have done. I was crouched in the grass, muttering about how to get the container out of the container, so decided to shake it hard and ended up flat on my back in the grass. The log container flew out and shot past the dog who didn't bother to grab it. As my father would have said, "What a pig of a container to use." Definitely a spot where having a dog is useful as a reason for being there.
Thankfully it wasnt in the cachers nemesis or I could still be there, anyway found under the cover of darkness made this a quick find, another nifty container from the Walker crew!
TFTC iammrwalker, the cache was found in good order Signed, sealed and returned to GZ. 3 finds of 4 today, making this find #1547

Very cool container. Spent more time trying to get the log container out of the cache than trying to find the cache. Thanks.
Easy find but took us 3-4 times longer to extract the log container from the camo container. Ended up having to nip back to the car for the tweezers, thanks for the cache
No worries in locating the cache. Took ages to retrieve the log book though. TFTC
Visiting from out of town. Found easily enough but was not excited by all the human excrement I found in there!!!
On my way up the line for a week of r&r and stopped for a couple of nights in Hamilton to pick up some caches. Back in Hamilton after completing the Ngaruawahia to Huntly power trail, caches in Huntly and there's still more day left for more caching. Quickly located the container however it took me an age to extract the inner log container. Got there in the end after a few very frustrating minutes. Excellent themed cache. TFTC. Deserves an FP.
###Happy International Geocaching Day!###
Well it was happy until I got to this cache, then it all quite literally turned to sh*t.
I came to Hamilton for the event today and my mission was to attempt to find at least 7 different cache types for a challenge cache I plan to visit sometime in the future. I easily achieved this task and it only took a couple of hours all up with the help of squirrel nutcase and ABCDF4.
Now done to business.
----------
With no disrespect to the CO, but this was the **shittiest cache I have ever found** .
Not because of its location - because it was good. Not because of the container - because it was great fun. Not because of its proximity to the stockyards - which I imagine somedays could smell pretty bad. It was because someone had decided to take a dump right where I stood looking for the cache and of course, I came out with the cache not smelling of roses, but smelling of shit. **"SHIIIIT!"** [:(!][:(!]
It took a while to extract the log and for some unknown reason, everyone had taken a few steps back away from me while I 'did the business'. After I had signed the log and carefully 'dumped' the cache back in the place I found it, I had an extra mission on my hands (eww - literally), and had to clean the other unwelcome 'log' off my shoe.
As I hurried across the road to find the gas station tap, ABCDF4 had explored the sales yards and ironically, had found a tap and a scrubbing brush, specifically designed for cleaning excrement off boots. Its almost like it was made for me today - Gee great!
Anyway, geocaching is all about creating memorable and new experiences, and this cache certainly fits with that and I'm sure we will all be laughing and talking about this experience for some time, so well done for creating one of my most memorable finds so far, but NO fav point!

Shake rattle n roll. Another cache done. No one around this time of night. Log signed as b&p.Tftc iammrwalker. Find # 2989
This little piggy went to market...oops that would be the sale yard. Finding the cache was the easy part, removing the log made it much harder but perseverance won out in the end and it was signed and placed back where it belongs.

Hmm, no cabbage tree.. Lots of flax. Are you mistaken? Which flax? GPS takes me to concrete.
Due to two recent DNF logs and references to the hint item being missing I have decided to disable the cache until I can visit GZ and check to see if the hide is compromised.
Had a dot day to fill, so this is the closest to work. Made more difficult in that there was a livestock sale in progress. Cute container but took a few minutes to extract the log. Thanks very much iammrwalker
The cutest cache. The hardest part was to get the inner cache out of the cache but removing it's sphincter made it a bit easier. There's a bit of road rage around here!
Checked GPS and there was one, just across the road. Off I went and, after a bit of a jiggle, I was signing the log. Tftc
First road trip for a while and making my way North. Enjoying a variety of caches all adding to the enjoyment of this trip. A quick find here. TFTC
Yet another orthodontist trip to the Tron. No muggles today to impede our progress, although the aroma was proof of an earlier sale. Cache quickly found but took some time to extract the log. TFTC
Out for a (now fairly rare) dot day find. Steed had sighted this one earlier, so I dived in for a quick find, but a slow retrieval of the logbook holder which would not line up with the opening! Once I finally coaxed it out, we signed, picked up a bit of rubbish and were on our way. There was no one around on this Saturday morning. Thanks for a new local.
A nice easy find thanks to a great hint. Awesome cache container - earns a favorite from me! SL. TFTC!
poor little cache wasnt quite ready for the sale yards, log wasnt in its container and main cache container lid wasnt on, all back how it should be and he's now hiding again, tftc

Hadn't been here before in spite of living in the area for a few years until 5 years ago. Tftc!
And so it begins yet again: another school year, another 40 plus weeks of taxi service and waiting around for an hour or so for our teens' sports practice. Thankfully, my temporary break from caching last year means there's now quite a few new city caches for me to collect over the coming weeks as a helpful distraction! This one was on my hit list tonight. Good time to stop by, and all quiet at GZ. Had some initial difficulty retrieving the log but, as many people have often told me with much gratitude, my skinny fingers are exactly what's needed for tricky extractions thanks for the fun & tftc, a fav for the giggles lol.
As I grew up in Wha st about 100 metres from the cache this was one of my favorite places to play. The big old trees and towers to climb and now a cache
Off on a walk at night again and grabbing a few caches...first one of the night...quick find and managed to get the log out with some careful though. tftc
Just flush with the success of a 1tf did this on route to get home. Hardest part was getting the mini container out
#11275. We'd had a good day out on the bikes, and completed a couple of wherigos. It was time to head for home, and look for a couple of ride bys to get my tally for the day up to 10 (Troodles was three ahead for the day as she had found three caches I found in 2009). All was quiet at GZ (it was anniversary day) and the cache was a quick find. TFTC.
Today it seemed a little cooler than the hot muggy conditions we have endured since arriving in Hamilton. We decided to attempt the Bridge too Far wherigo on bikes and this wasn't far off our route back to home base.
All quiet here today and it didn't take long to track down the cool container. Swapped TBs - would have liked to have left Penelope the Pig TB but she was a little too tubby so left a smaller one. TFTC.

Heading over this way to fill up the car with petrol. Knew there were some MUNZEES nearby so I had to stop and grab some. Remembered there was a cache too so I stopped munzeeing and made a short detour for this cache. Took longer to get the log out that it did to find, but soon discovered a trick. Thanks for the cool cache container, had an idea it might of been one of these.
9.30am - Took no time at all to find with hint but the log sheet took longer to retrieve. SLTFTC
With Gap (of Fap and Gap)... Heading to Auckland (Hauraki Gulf) for a caching adventure on Browns Island. There seems to have been a mini explosion of caches that really need to be dealt to. This is our driving mission today...
Well, of course there had to be a sale yard in Hamilton... I've heard about them, but wasn't expecting to find them in the middle of a built up, suburban area. Thanks for the historical background description. It's always interesting to learn about places one visits as an out of towner... TFTC.

1404 Called on my way home late tonight. Easy retrieve but log not so easy to extract. Eventually able to. Now its home to bed.
A nicely place cache, only one place it could be, and it was, but even though there was no swag in there the log book was squealing like a stuck pig and would just not come out, after some careful jiggling about it pooped right out
Last cache in the tron before heading back home to Wellington I remember cycling past here everyday to get to the local intermediate school!
When walking to cache from car was telling son what sort of cache I had in mind for this spot - then found the cache - very similar to what I was planning! Great minds and all that.
Took 3 secs to find cache and 3 minutes to extract the log container.
Son and I found three caches today and replaced a muggled cache. Ironically, my own cache was the only one I needed the GPS for.
Thanks for the history lesson.

Running a few errands today and was passing by, so thought I'd make a quick stop here as it was nice and quite. A quick find with the good hint, nice container too! Thanks for the hide.
Nice hide in the right place for the wee man pick this one up with EyeSpyBen today so we are {3rd} thanks

With Novalightning.
Will complete later when I explain to the wife why I'm not cooking the bbq
This was a surprise to get these two notifications made all the better the fact that the person who was around fro dinner was also more than a little willing to see if we could grab them, a quick out the door in the hope that a couple of local cachers living nearby were still away on holiday. Luck would have it they were so even though we may not have needed to make a made dash for the cache, general necessity meant that we were always going to. Great to find the logbooks blank still.
thanks for the placement, thanks for the cache
