The cache has been replaced. Please ensure all SPOR is put back to prevent any chance of it getting washed away if we have another big downpour.
It looks like this didn't survive the recent downpour. A morning walk reveals it's gone AWOL. I'll reassess the placement. I'm surprised the water got that high.
Currently largely house-bound with the dreaded COVID but needing to keep my self-imposed streak rolling, I knew from previous experience when this one had gone the way of the rubber ducky briefly, that I could come here and expect to see no-one and be a long way from everything! So, donning my N95 and wielding the hand sanitiser liberally, journeyed back here to the same SPOR as I had found last time, this time culminating in a "yay" rather than a "oh dear" to finally complete this nice little sereis. Thanks Brew.
Out on a Saturday afternoon neglecting the garden in favour of geocaching. You're not wrong about what this would be like on a rainy day. So we are happy to be here when it's sunny. And happy to have a TOTT to spot the container tucked tightly away. We collected what we needed for number 3 in the series but decided to leave the last one for another day. Thanks for providing some entertaining geocaches for us today, Brewmaker. SL TFTC Cheers Gaztek
Well blow me down and strike me with a nano. I found it! About 5m away, washed up on the banks of the creek, amongst other debris. The log sheet was dry, and the sistema was only a little damp. So, all is back in place, with a little extra SPOR in case we get another massive downpour. Apparently, we had 100 mL of rain fall around here last Friday.Cache on the future seekers.
A multi a dayA multi a day is not always achievable, but we thought it would be if we came for a walk to collect the two traditionals along this beautiful creek. We visited this one first, and after heading down closer to the water, we found what we were seeking and have signed the log. Thanks Brewmaker. A lovely location, lots of wild grasses at the moment after such a wet spring. Domsky
Well, number two is way easier to find the number one. And is now giving me hope that I might be able to find number three.Well hidden. Maybe slightly under rated for train. But, TFTC.
Well… I now have a wet shoe and wet bottom after having a fall in the creek… but we found another one! With Nicole and the Barrett clan
Nephew again stole the show, found it in the first place he looked. NayEla provided the entertainment by falling into the creek. TFTC
Fun little find, Mr 8 found his second for the day. Nayella87 had a nice little slide into water… gave much entertainment. Lovely walk on a beautiful spring day. Found with Nayella87 and Nicole.M. TFTC
Managed to grab this one quickly before work - hint was super helpful! Eventually spotted the tell tale camo and got the clue for the 3rd waypoint!
Cache was super wet, but log being made of waterproof paper meant it was fine! Signed and replaced as found; TFTC Brewmaker!

I had already found this one a few years ago but for some reason didn’t record coords. So back I went again. Quick find of new cache after a bit slippery sandy scramble.
Had a good look.GZ or what I suspected was GZ was pretty overgrown..maybe next time
A check while on a walk revealed it has gone. Probably fallen down the cracks after all the rain. Will replace soon.
I was out today after getting a fresh manicure needing to find some caches and get some exercise so this series appealed. Parked my car at box road and strolled on in, taking advantage of the overcast weather as it was not too hot.
This one was located quickly but being on the shorter side I had a bit of a task retrieving it.
Thanks for the series, Brewmaker.

Now that the NSW Government is beginning to ease lockdown restrictions and we can now travel outside our local LGA, it’s time to bring my caches back into play. I know the COVID-19 virus is still about, so please take precautions to keep yourself and those around you safe by doing things such as wearing gloves to handle caches, as well as using hand sanitiser regularly. Take care everyone and enjoy your return to caching after such a long break. Brew
To help stop the spread of COVID-19, the NSW Government has ordered everybody to STAY AT HOME unless you are: shopping for essentials, receiving medical care, exercising or travelling to work or education.
While some people would regard geocaching as a form of exercise, it is my personal opinion that this activity is NON-ESSENTIAL, perhaps involving unnecessary travel (> 10km) and therefore should not be undertaken during this time of crisis. You are breaking the law by doing so.
Who knows how long this current lockdown will last! Right now, every one of us has an important part to play in helping to keep our families, friends and the wider community safe in the fight against the spread of COVID-19, by STAYING HOME.
As a result of the health authority’s directive, I have decided to disable this cache and respectfully request that you do not seek out and claim a find whilst this cache is disabled. If you do log a find I will DELETE IT.
Thank you for your cooperation. I look forward to bringing my caches back into play as soon as the health crisis abates.
Regards,
Brewmaker

With cache in hand we signed the log and replaced as found. The log was damp again but still able to be signed. Thanks for bringing me to the area and thanks for placing the cache Brewmaker

Today our bird watching group had a planned walk in the Royal National Park but on arriving at the Audley side the weir was closed. After some discussion we decided to drive down to Waterfall and walk part of the Forest Path Track. This turned out to be a great choice.
After a late lunch it was decided to call it a day.
I checked for nearby caches and found one then headed back towards Sydney and the caches I had planned for the drive home (well sort of on the way home).
Five finds so far then I headed to Gwawley Creek Pathway.
By this time school was out so I hoped the track wasn't crowded with mini muggles but I didn't see any.
I had no luck at #1, wrong side of the creek, legs too short, water too deep so I came here instead. Near this one I was able to wade across the creek - lucky I've got those gum boots! (look at day 125)
The cache was then an easy find. Collected the info for #3 and headed off.

Headed further down the creek to pick up the second cache. TFTC
Log was wet so took a photo instead.

Coming from the first one we took in the beautiful bush in this part of the shire that had plenty of bird life chirping away. Upon arrival at gz we spotted a likely spot that matched the clue but as I was putting my stuff down to prepare myself, moom3 pointed out the cache in a different spot! Just about this time I forgot to grab the info from the first cache in the series for the multi, so I quick jog back and I had the info for the final, thank you
What a nice cool little spot. Clue helped and led me to suspicious camo. Thanks for hide. left a swap.
little tricky to find on the western side of the creek bed in the rockery. Found it yay!
My son was eaten alive by mosquitoes but it was so worth it for the lovely walk to find this GZ! Thank you so much for another very well placed and well hidden GZ...we really appreciate the effort you’ve gone to! Thank you also to the kind soul who left the Ooshie...my son was over the moon to find it, and left a little toy in its place!
We were determined to find this one after arriving too late on a previous attempt and couldn't do much in the dark. TFTC
Came out for some fresh air and enjoyed this walk along the creek. Found this cache quickly but unfortunately didnt have luck with #1 today so #3 will also have to wait. SL TFTC.
We soon found this second cache in the series after having enjoyed the pleasant stroll towards Ground Zero. Thanks so much for the cache and greetings from Zimbabwe
TFTC! I ended up in the area and wanted to get a cache so I decided to go for this series. Started it from the north and got here first. Easy to find with the hint and the coordinates I decided not to make it any further. My legs were itching with a dozen bites from mosquitoes!!!! Will come back at some point, hopefully, but better dressed and sprayed xD
The walk was lovely, though. Thanks for showing me the area!

Ahh! Im being eaten alive by mozzies.
I proceeded along the creek from GCP#1 to the GZ for this one.
Cheking around i got the correct angle and noticed something i just had to check out and was then able to grab the cache.
Found the coords forGCP#3.
As i am writing this the heavens have just opened up and the light shower is no longer able to be described as light.
Thanks Brewmaker.

After meeting up with the CO - what you say, you take the CO of the cache with you. You'll have to read GCP#1 to find the reason behind this. Close to GZ we crossed this lovely pristine creek and with a nudge from the CO it was CIH and after SL and noting the last required bit of information for GCP#3 we were off again. TFTC and nudge Brew.
Was tempted to walk futher along the pathway, however, after not finding GCP #1 it was a bit pointless. TFTC Brew
#161 Afternoon walk in another reserve I didn't know about, would be a great playground to grow up round here and explore, lizards, birds, critters, great. Found cache soon enough and continued my walk on the other side. Where did that school come from, hadn't noticed it before. TFTC Brewmaker
Checked while out walking geodog in the rain. Creek flowing freely. All good. You might get wet feet today crossing the creek.
Today I was out doing some childfree caching and this looked like a great afternoon walk.
After success up the creek at #1 it was another nice stroll to #2. Arriving at GZ a muggle neighbour was working very close by but luckily once at the right level I could not be seen. A similar hide to #1 was found quickly. TNLNSL now on to the final!
Thanks for another great cache Brewmaker!
Find #126

Find #126
After visiting GCP #1 I continued along the pathway to collect #2 and soon had CIH and gathered the required information for #3. This is a beautiful piece of the original bushland of the area that I never knew existed before. Thanks Brewmaker for bringing me here.
Another QAEWAF further along the GCP. I found Animals, in fact Beatles, but no Rolling Stones, but I found the cache. TFTC Brewmaker

Continued my lovely creekside walk from GC#1 to arrive at GZ.
Another pretty area. Not many places matched the hint apart from those underwater so I knew where to start looking. It's well hidden but I soon signed the log and noted the clue

Second time here to no avail. Hunted high, low, over the other side in the corks. Still no find.
After our failure at #1 I found this one easily after checking logs to affirm the cache was nowhere near GZ, in fact on the other side of the creek to where the GPS was pointing. After a scary walk over the mossy rocks I removed camo to collect the cache and the needed number. Since we could not complete #3 we walked back to #1 for another look. Thanks Brewmaker for the hide, the path was clear today and the water was flowing, although a little murky.
After my success at finding #1 I continued on the trail to complete the series.
With how far off the coordinates for number 1 was, I suspected the same for this one. So after looking at a similar hiding place away from where my gps pointed I spotted the tiny hint of a natural camo. With a bit of a shuffle i managed to uncover the cache. With the last clue in hand i proceeded onto the final.
Thanks for the cache.

With Pitsch Patsch explored Sylvania today. We went from cache to cache and could all find good. The hints were helpful and after some search we logged the beautiful containers.
It was a successful day with 17 caches. Here we must search a little bit longer, but at least we could find!!
Many thanks to all the owners of the Moorhelmis from Germany

A fabulous pathway in the middle of suburbia
This one was a lot easier to find than number one. Back to have another look for number 1!

TFTC! Never knew this pathway existed. As is usual for summer, mozzies and flies everywhere.

While out walking geodog I noticed the SPOR looked like it had been disturbed. Evidence nearby that some idiots may have been here. Checked all around and it appears to have gone missing. Will replace as soon as possible.
