An enjoyable long weekend caching with friends around the Southern Tablelands.Quick find in a beautiful location. TFTC Joshwa27!
A cool and fun day of caching around the Southern Tablelands. This cache was a straightforward find in the obvious location. Container and log in good condition. Thanks!
Finished another long trip around Australia. The 6th. Back to the east coast for an event in Orange (non caching) and then a great family dinner catchup. Now heading north to Townsville with Aquilus1 to get the Palm Island LGA.A long arm stretch to grab this one
Quick find today with the kids on our central NSW school holiday adventure. Thanks for the fun - now off to the museum!
Day 1 of my tour of Central NSW. Hoping to chase some LGAs and other points of interest. Started the caching day in Cowra, then out to Weddin Shire. Back to Cowra and up to Canowindra - great spot for ballooning. Enjoyed lunch here before heading across to Orange to finish the days driving. Tftc
Sorry for late log as we found this while in the area for Balloon Glow. Quick find for us today, but with 4 team members here today it wasnt going to stay hidden for long. TFTC
we are here for the festival and had to grab the caches got this one signed and replaced tftc
A quick find after visiting the Age of Fishes museum on the seconday of our Victoria trip, TFTC.
Reeled this one in while passing through town en route to Queensland, via Orange and beyond. Great little cache and quite a large cemeterythanks!
#13219 16:00After talking about it for many years, we decided to finally visit the annual Elvis festival in Parkes. Travelling to our campground in nearby Forbes we passed some country towns with a mandatory stop at the cemetery for a quick find of a cache.TFTC Joshwa27
With dot558 on way to Canberra when we did a few smiles on the wayThanks for the cache
I found this cache as I headed home to Adelaide after the QOGM events around Longreach. The plan was to be away for about a month. I travelled up to Longreach via Broken Hill, Cunnamulla, Charleville and Barcaldine, camping and finding caches of interest along the way. I am heading back home via Brisbane and the NSW coast to Sydney, then across to Adelaide. However my plans are pretty loose and subject to change, often on a whim! The weather so far has been good, albeit a little warm at times. I am hoping it stays good for the rest of the trip.I have had to be quite selective with the caches I have found as there are so many that I am passing. As a result I have mostly targeted non-traditional cache types, although I have also grabbed a few Trads opportunistically here and there. Thanks Joshwa27 for the cache, which has contributed to an interesting and enjoyable trip.
Naturally we turned down the wrong street looking for the cemetery entrance. It was this cache that made us turn in the first place. When we got close Mrs Woodyrothwell thought she would be able to reach over the fence to grab it and being a master of the reach around I didnt doubt her ability. We had just been shopping in Canowindra which we had thoroughly enjoyed. When I say we I dont in anyway include myself in that group. I just stand outside the shops holding the bags and when I have too many to carry drop them back to the car.I had found excellent coffee in Cargo but it is the one thing missing in Canowindra. There must be coffee somewhere because each shop is a chameleon for so many other wares. Just when you think you are walking into a homeware shop they are also the local bakery and hardware store. tftc
fitzy_1965 and I headed up to the Cowra region today in lieu of a long weekend away (migraines suck!)
We had a good day picking up a couple of solved puzzles and avenging a few previous DNF's.
All caches found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned.

Found by Mary and David at 09:30. A beautifully maintained little country cemetery. M wishes she could have explored. She loves cemeteries for the carved symbolism of the headstone designs and the social history from the epitaphs. However, she has a broken ankle in a moon boot, which is cramping her style. Our thanks to Joshwa27.

I happened to drive by this one in search of another cache, and then pulled back around to it. This one is hidden in a good spot well away from the graves. Cache in good condition.

We had planned a road trip to Queensland to visit family in 2021, but our travel plans were stalled due to border closures during the COVID-19 pandemic. Now that the world was trying to get back to a semi normal state, we decided to have another go at getting away from the cold and head up north for some sunshine and warmth.
Day 21 – Last day for us today our journey would be from Dubbo to Canberra. We were both well and truly ready to be home again back to the home comforts. Nice to go away but even nicer to return home. Many caching stops along our way home and this was one of them.
All caches were found in good condition unless otherwise mentioned.
Thanks for the hide Joshwa27

Following The Compass around Australia we decided to stop off for a few days in Canowindra. Quick and easy find. SL. TFTC.
Wicked cache in great condition! Loved this find!!! Had us stumped for a bit…
Found it 25/3/2022. My 1st ever find, such fun. It didn't STUMP me. Thanks.
Geocaching always leads us to some fascinating regional towns. We stopped here for an early breakfast and a walk around the cemetery.
We enjoyed driving past old buildings in town and finding your cache today as part of our memorable road trip beyond Victoria.

Another day of seeking out caches where the crowds don't go... though technically speaking I guess the crowds do eventually go here. No social distancing needed, we were the only living ones in attendance. TFTC Joshwa27.
Good coordinates and hint led to quick find. Graveyard much bigger than we expected. Thanks for bringing us here.
Needing to change our route due to the Lachlan River being flooded we ended up in Canowindra grabbing the 2 local trads. Having already been through here in ‘19 we already have the ‘History of….’ Cache. An easy grab over the fence.
Thanks Joshwa27 for the placement.
