Quick find here. Just the way we like it. Love your work.Cleaning up Victoria with gridge98. We are on a mission this week. Completing twenty finds in Mexican local government areas is the challenge. Another find with the correct criteria. It is in Victoria and we have not accumalated twenty finds in this local government area.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is Woden's day the sixteenth day of the octavus month of the Roman calendar in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was a bit windy today. It was so windy today. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. A wherigo is always a bit of fun to do when in the suburbs, once we had done it the cache was found at GZ and is all good hereTravelling around Victoria with Freddo for a week finding caches as we go. With two challenges on our radar we were in full force. All logs signed with our names or F+g98 for the smaller caches. Thanks for the series
Spring Victorian Incursion 2024.Day Four: Bayside and KingstonWeather: windy doesnt even begin to describe it, and rain too.A fun wherigo here, if only they were all like this and ran as smoothly. I would love to be able to create something like this. I particularly liked the feature whereby Rex tells you when youve gone too far. I must say, his bone is well hidden, though maybe not so from dachshunds point of view. There were some bigger dogs exercising when I started, but theyd all moved on by the time I took the photo. A bit of a panic at GZ because Id forgotten about adjusting the coordinates. A quick find at the new GZ as the camo is wearing off. There has been a lot of branches and whole trees down all over Melbourne today, and here is no different, but the hide is not compromised. I enjoyed my walkies with Rex, he gets a Favourite Point, thanks so much Lazyade and Chooknchunk.
If you havent used the app b4, follow instructions on description ** there is nothing to find at the blue marker, this is the start point for the app! ***
Would have found it a lot earlier if ClaudeRaymaynesToBeSeenWhyIBringHimWithMeBecauseHeNeverFindsTheBlastedCacheAnyway hadnt have walked past it 3 times. Alas, a happy doggo and two happy caches. TFTC Rex
**Rexs Lost Bone, 7th Jan 2024**JonnyGoldcoast said he was on his way to Spotlight/Bunnings in Mentone and knowing this has been on my to do list forever, I decided to join him. After our errands were done, I persuaded him to join me on this fun Wherigo adventure.JC has never had a dog, so doesnt understand the joy of fetch or finding a lost bone for that matter. He soon got into it however, and we were off racing around the park as fast as a greyhound can say rabbit.I was the lucky one to find the bone, and putting the modifications in place for the final coords, JC came up with the well-camoed container! Thanks chooknchunk and lazyade for a fun Wherigo and a great camouflaged hide. FP awarded for the experience. Signed LetThemEatCache or LTEC and JonnyGoldcoast or JC or something in-between as space would allow. Cache on *Throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Explore. Dream. Discover.* **Mark Twain**-The **Ballarat GeoTour** ends on 4 March 2024! Be sure to find all the caches, and earn the souvenir, before the tour is archived. Join us for the [Farewell Ballarat GeoTour Event - GCAFQ8B](https://coord.info/GCAFQ8B) on 18 February 2024.
I found it eventually but with the help of the CO. The cartridge had the finals about 160m away so even with the offset I was far from the cache. Thanks for getting back to me so quick. I AM GUR THE SKITZ CACHER
1080 for the tribeMelbourne put on some fine weather for the tribe and we enjoyed a number of geocaching adventures this evening while finding a smorgasbord of 7x traditionals, 1x Mystery, 3x AL sites, 2 Virtuals and a Wherigo which had a total of some 750 well earned Favourite points, plus a few more after our visit. All caches were in good condition, with room enough to place a name in the logbook. A big thanks to all COs for placing and maintaining these caches. Rex you cheeky dog! Eventually found your bone, and then after a search at GZ after adding and subtracting as told made good on the find at GZ. Have another FP Rex, the tribe loves a good Wherigo and this was a good one, perplexing at times but eventually got there. The final cache is also very very nice. Beautiful flowers on show in the park here today.
Greetings from Ireland - this is a generic log for now until I return home / have WiFi - I want to log all finds now so I don't forget them.
FPs will be awarded at the time of this log (where applicable) so I don't forget them. Tftc!

Out for a day with Irishalan, who ran an event on Tuesday whilst he is over from Limerick. We had a great day out and Irishalan needed a wherigo. He worked out want to do quite quickly and found want we needed, but then I forgot to mention the GZ change. After searching in the workplace, we reread the description. Even then, the fund was elusive for a while. A nice hide, good camo.
That was different. First time completing a practical wherigo. Wasn’t quite sure what I was doing but went for the walk around the park, found Rex’s bone and ultimately the cache. Had been looking to do this cache for many years now so was glad to get it done. TFTC
It took me two visits to finish this Wherigo. On my first try, I walked along the path, and one of the points didn't register, this time I walked more closely to the target and I got the location. It was fun completing this Wherigo, as it is a little different to most of the others I've completed.
At GZ, I spotted the cache fairly quickly and it is hidden well. I was a little concerned for its safety due to the nearby JB can, but all is good. Thanks for creating this cache and adding something to my daily adventures.

I found this cache during a week in Melbourne with a mate.
Glad to return to the area and avenge a DNF from two years ago. I had no issue at GZ after adjusting my saved coordinates.
Thanks For The Cache!

This was an exceptionally cute experience, one which a random pup decided they wanted to join in for a minute. Once we found Rexs bone we went to GZ. Except we forgot the amendments and were looking in the wrong spot for a while til we suddenly remembered. With the new (correct) cords off we went to find the clever cache, which I looked at twice before wondering . Well camoed and hidden!

Well this is My 24,000 cache find, some friends were asking what it would be, would it be a D5T5? or a difficult Puzzle, well those would be My normal choices but this cache looked fun and when I mentioned that Rex had lost his bone to My trusted Dachshund Casper, his ears popped up and he gave me the look, you have to do something about that Dad. We are a household of 9 Dashunds at the moment, three adult dogs Casper, Luna and Myah and Luna has six pups so this cache was chosen due to our love of the breed and Casper said I had to find the lost bone and so I did.
Ps Casper was not impressed with the white cat or balls you cant chew.
Thanks Lazyade and Chooknchunk for a fun wherigo and helping me bring up another thousand finds.

Took a while to follow this demented dog around the park then read the supplementary info and bazinga. And this cache gets us to our 4,500th cache
Finally had an opportunity to finish this one off. Got to GZ where the nicely camouflaged cache was quickly spotted.
Thanks to Lazyade and Chook'n'Chunk for the cache.

This one I enjoyed
Beautiful sunny day after another week of cold, wet miserable weather
Great for a stroll around the park, even better attempting a Wherigo!
And such a cute subject. Who can't relate to dogs and buried bones!
So it all started out well. Rex talking, messages received and off to another location
Fell apart a little when contact with Rex was lost, and as it turns out, in the general area of the hidden bone!
Anyways, contact remade with Rex, another lap of the park and bingo, the bone spotted
Retrieving the bone was another matter, I'm not as agile as in days gone by!
Calculations done, including the July 21 update, and the search was on for the cache and log
Unfortunately this took some time. Searched in some rather nasty spots (some people just don't care where they dump rubbish), widened the search area and finally came up with the goods. GPS's being what they are, this was some 20 metres south of the corrected coordinates (unless of course I was a victim of cache creep?)
Great camo, all found in excellent condition. Log signed and returned to where found
Many thanx to Lazyade and Chooknchunk. One to remember. Fav point added for sure
**UPDATE 29 AUG 22**
A subsequent discussion with the CO's has confirmed what I already knew........I Can't Count!
Had I used a calculator
Had I been more organised
Had I listened to my Grade 2 teacher
Then just maybe I would have got the simple maths correct!
But I didn't, and so I got the coordinates wrong (apologies to the GPS gods and Cache Creepers)
The Negative: I ended up searching through a pile of rubbish that could have been avoided
The Positive: The cache is discreetly hidden away in exactly the right spot just waiting to be found
In my opinion an excellent Wherigo. Go out and enjoy

So having a quick caching afternoon with PrezDough, he really wanted to do a Wherigo and this seemed to be on the way.
We parked up nearby the posted coordinates and made our way around this park grabbing a few different clues along the way. Occasionally Rex would bark and offer us some advice as to his lost bone. I swear he has dementia. Anyway, we ended up with a pretty good clue that we reckon would reveal his lost bone.
So sure enough, this actually was the first thing I placed my hand on when we hit GZ.
But the journey wasn’t over and Rex wanted an autograph, but he said he had some paper elsewhere in the park that he wanted us to sign.
So off there and sure enough Rex has stashed some paper in a pretty cool container out of sight of most muggles.
Well the effort of this adventure is really down to PrezDough as he has the app and downloaded the cartridge.
The adventure, the cache, container and log are in excellent condition.

Found with CJDenno. We were on our way home when 8 spotted a Wherigo. Me and CJDenno then drove towards Le Page Park and parked. We said hi to Rex the dachshund and then helped him find his bone for treasure. Once we found his bone, he gave us the coordinates for the cache and we were thankful it was near where we parked the car. When we were given the coordinates, we saw the description and noticed that there was an update and the coordinates were changed a little bit. We did the quick mathematics and went to the new coordinates. We found it, logged our names, and went home.

Wherigo caches can cause us a few problems at times. Today the cartridge loaded quickly and behaved. Thanks to Rex for the hints. It took a few minutes to find the code required for the final. The cache was quickly located once we arrived at GZ. Thanks to Lazyade and Chooknchunk for this challenge and cache.
Finally got to pay Rex a visit. Very pleasant walk today picking up Rex's clues, and even got to see a local footy match. Got to the final position, and had no luck until we widened the search area. I was going to post a note to the CO until I read the update! All good, and a fav. Thanks.
This was only my second Wherigo cache so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Initially getting confused by the compass, but eventually I figure out how to work the cartridge.
The park was cute and a nice area to walk around. I ended up loving this cartridge. It work really well, Rex’s little interruption absolutely cracked me up.
The cache was amazingly camouflaged. I loved the effort that went into the camo and the cartridge, this one earns a favourite point from me.
The cache’s camo was still in great shape the cache was in great shape and the logbook was clean and dry. TFTC

This was a really fun and entertaining wherigo. Did most of it early Sunday a couple of weeks ago but ran out of time. This morning I was able to make the find with footy in full swing. Very well cammo'ed container too
Out with au.fait, we aimed to do a day of multis. Beautiful weather and great company made for a good day.
I attempted this previously but ran out of time. Today, with numbers confirmed, we helped Rex find his bone. Fabulous hide. Thanks Lazyade and Chooknchunk.

Out and about in the delightful company of echidna44 with multis as our targets.with final coordinates in the phone it was off to collect the prize A very neat container so a FP awarded TFTC Lazyada and ChooknChunk
THis is a very late log and reminded by my fellow cacher had already done it and helped me out. Interesting one and a little challenging for me. Thanks Lazyade and Chooknchunk
Rex sure is a cutie, but boy does he get distracted easily. The Wherigo worked beautifully, unfortunately I can’t say the same about us. It took us a couple of laps to find Rex’s bone as we missed an important detail on our first lap.
With the calculations complete, it was off to GZ and with spot on coordinates, this well camouflaged container was discovered.
Thank you Lazyade and Chooknchunk for an enjoyable cache, and thanks Rex for showing us this park.

Back after a long time and it wasn't until I got to gz when I realised that I didn't have the correct final coords entered. I had completed the cartridge but that was 2 or 3 phones ago so I didn't have that either.
I managed to find the old gz from memory although it seemed more exposed than I remember. A quick offset had me at a likely location and I quickly spotted the container.
Thanks chooknchunk for the cache. It's been a long time coming.

My little girl loves dogs, so what a perfect cache for her! We came by this park where I used to play junior footy jack in the day (go Panthers!), and worked with Rex to try and find his lost bone.
Unfortunately the offset coordinates put us right in the middle of Argus St, and with the girl in the Ergobaby decided that we would come back another day to find the final place for Rex's bone.
A message to the CO confirmed that the offsets were slightly off (description has since been updated), and I was back in the area today so quickly found the bone and signed the log.
TFTC! I really liked the Whereigo (well put together) so this one gets a favourite point from me.

Missed the info in the description so made the find at the gz a lot longer than we expected!

With the ute in the workshop having some work done to it we had a few hours to kill so we randomly wandered around picking up a few caches ,primarily multi's for a personal challenge and we weren't going to leave any that were close by behind.
As we enjoy whereigo's we have been looking at this one for quite awhile in an area that we don't normally visit. The whole cartridge ran beautifully and we quite enjoyed the extra touches put in. Unfortunately at gz something didn't look right. We went back and read a few logs and then as a last resort read the cache page. all of a sudden everything became clear and we were soon on our way to gz where the nicely hidden container was found on the second rotation and the log book now contains our name.
Thanks Lazyade and Chooknchunk for a fun cache.

In April last year the **8*12 Month Type Challenge** cache was published... and I discovered I was just 4 caches short of qualifying ... a Wherigo in the months of April, May, January and March! As you could image, I made sure I went out and found one in April and May... and have since been waiting patiently for January to roll around.
Now that we are here, the problem then was to choose a suitable Wherigo. They are few and far between over my side of Melbourne... but today I was visiting my daughter and grand-daughter who live not too far from **Rex**. And so it was, I could be found this afternoon wandering around a local park looking for **Rex's Lost Bone**. Happily I can say I was successful... so roll on March so i can finish off the challenge cache.
Thanks **Lazyade and Chooknchunk** for an interesting cache... the sound effects were a nice touch... deserving of another Favourite Point if I had one to give away.

Another day, more caches. Having to head up to Clayton today I decided to go out and collect some caches before hand. With a couple mysteries being the main targets I end the day with no real issues before I headed to a card tournament. Thanks for the cache and the little adventure.

We are happy to report that Rex's Bone has been found safe and well today. A fun trip around the park. Thanks from D & HA B-A
While my wife was off on a 37+ kilometre run, starting at Patterson Lakes, I had some time to go geocaching before needing to pick her up. I selected the Cheltenham and Karkarook Park area to grab a few caches that interested me.
This being a WhereIGo, it caught my attention and I had to take a look. Parked at the coordinates and enjoyed the entire experience. I think I might have done it the wrong way because I walked twice around the entire area. Found the bone but as I was taking a screen shot, the app crashed. Only the second time that my WhereYouGo app has crashed.
I then spent 20 minutes looking at the coordinates, before noticing that the location has changed on the cache page. However made the coordinates calculation which put me in the middle of the road. Multiple calculations made no difference, so checked it out anyway. Needless to say, it's not hidden in the middle of the road. However eventually found the well hidden geocache container about 15 meters away from what I calculated the final GZ to be. Signed at 8.40 am.
Thanks for the cache Lazyade and Chook n Chunk

Thanks to Hunter999, we were alerted to a cache page error for the final coordinate adjustment. This has now been fixed. Thanks Hunter.
I always seem to get into a pickle with whereigo caches but this one was very straight forward. Rex led me around the park and told me when I was within woofing distance of his bone. Numbers were divulged and I was able to go fetch the cache.
I did this Whereigo last year, but it was too busy to hunt for the cache so on to my watched list it went. A while time went by and the cache was noted as 'not found' and then re-hidden in a different location. Today was the day to go hunting again. Within my 5k, out for exercise. I was thrilled to find it easily and admired the camo. This was my first Wherigo - what a fun concept. Thanks for the cache Lazyade and Chooknchuck
We travelled to Melbourne to check on this cache today. Yes there have certainly been some changes in the park. The final cache has had to be relocated, and the description has been updated to include instructions on how to adjust the final coordinates that Rex gives you.
There are other areas still under construction in the park, however this does not affect the ability to complete the cartridge, nor the location of Rex's bone.
In summary .... its all good to go! Lets hope Rex can keep walking this park a little longer.

DNF, will come back. There was an area fenced off which prevented me from finding the next hint.
A great adventure following Rex around the park in search of his bone. All was going great until we came to the final hide. The revisions and hints were a little difficult to interpret and we were certainly looking for something very different. After finally making the find it became apparent that the tree in the original coordinates would appear to have been cut down all together (noting a small area which was likely its spot.). This makes the 5m clue make more sense. Then the final ah ha moment in relation to the actual hide was after we returned to the car. Ok, a little less frustrated now .
Thanks chooknchunk for placing the hide!
Thanks chooknchunk for placing the hide!
Rex sure gets easily distracted and I liked how funny comments. his bone was quickly discovered however the cache clues were a bit difficult to interpret and threw us off completely. After a fair search in the icy wind we finally spotted the cache. The clue at last made sense and the aha moment occurred when we signed the log. Enjoy your bone Rex
Went on a hunt for Rexs bone! Lovely day out and took the doggies to meet Rex. Didn’t have a pen so couldn’t sign TFTC
We were keen to try this Whereigo and as we were in the area, we decided to try it out. After all, Rex needs his bone. We started the app, wandered in the designated area, and was impressed to use all the aspects of the Whereigo app. Clearly a lot of work had gone into the development of this cache. Much appreciated. TFTC Lazyade and Chooknchunk.

Love the whereigo story, it adds an extra dimension. Cache was found after quite a bit of searching. Tftc.
Came back to find this one with a little help from the CO (thanks!) as first I was a bit confused about the cache location.
Not quite 'above head height' though.
I overall really enjoyed the cache and helping Rex find his bone, tftc!

After following what rex was saying, I managed to find the bone fairly easily. But when I got to GZ I had a hard time finding it and after searching, I gave up .
I'll probably be back another time though.

Omg took me a year but I eventually found rex’s lost bone!! Had someone with me today so the morale didn’t drop too low when we were empty handed after quite some time of searching. OSHFAM’s log helped us a bit to confirm we were looking in the right spot.
Cheers for the walk around Le Page park. Two cricket games going on.
Be sure to bring a bag to collect rubbish - no bins in this park.

What a fun adventure! Our first Wherigo, and we loved it. Tricky find this one, well hidden and camouflaged. Had to be aware of muggles as there were multiple cricket games on.
A favourite point is well deserved on my 150th find (yep I’m free!). Thanks for the cache!

Awesome little hide. Took a nice walk around this park and some weird stares from the local cricket players as we did our rounds. TFTC
Really enjoyed helping rex retrieve his bone, He was distracted bu everything around the park. There were many muggles out today. The camouflage on the container made neat little hide. Thanks rex
This is a cache/Wherigo I've been meaning to do for quite a while after my caching companions found it when I was last overseas. Today was the day and there were only a handful of muggles about so I didn't have any trouble on that front, but after Rex took my for walkies around the park I misinterpretted the updated cache information and so spent some time looking for his bone in all the wrong places. While waiting for a hint via a PAF, I discovered the bone right where it was supposed to be and realised my mistake. Oh well, at least I knew for sure that it GZ that was offset, and once there it didn't take me long to locate the cache and record my visit. TFTC - a fun little Wherigo and a favourite point from me
We spent some time searching for the info to bring us to the cache, and then when at GZ, we struggled massively to find the container even with help from the picture given. Eventually we worked out that it has been moved and the picture is absolutely no help. Day1976 finally spotted the tricky little hide.
Found this cache as part of Ilukaperi and my's quest to find as many "other" type caches as possible for 2019
Spent quite some time hunting around this park for the right spot, then even when I finally had it, spent even more time looking for the right thing to lead us too the final. Finally we got it and we had a set of co ordinates where we found the cache. Great wherigo, well done!

Well what an adventure that was for our very first Wherigo.
With Geo kids 1, 2 & 3 and Agent Roxy (geo dog) in tow, we set out in search for Rex’s lost bone. It didn’t take us long to come across the first clue from Rex. Making our way around we came across many muggles. Some playing tennis, some practicing their cricket skills in the nets and some just walking around walking their dogs.
Rex sure was distracted by all the activities.
We stopped at a nearby off lead oval to let Agent Roxy have a run with another dog but unfortunately both dogs were so excited that Agent Roxy accidentally bowled the other dogs owner over. He went flying to the ground. Luckily he was ok and dusted himself off.
After the play, we continued on our search.
Not long after we found what we needed to get us to GZ.
At GZ however, we had great difficulty. We looked high, we looked low, around and around, checked all the nearby trees, but nothing showed itself. The spoiler photo did not help us either. After a long search we decided to call it a day and return another day to try again.
This time geo mum, me, came out to look.
Arriving at GZ, after a short time, I touched something that looked promising, however something fell down the branch crevice. Thinking it was the cache, I spent another 30mins trying to dig it out. Losing hope, I contacted the CO. Defeated, I gave up and stood back from the tree . As I stood there, about 3 metres from the tree, I noticed what looked like a cache at my feet. On closer inspection it was.
Well relieved to have finally have it in my hands. Turns out where I was looking first in the tree thinking I had dropped it into the crevice was not the case.
The cache was out here on the ground all in the open. Luckily a council mower or muggle didn’t come across it.
Another discussion with the CO ensued and agreed upon to rehide the cache in a safer location. I re hid it in a nook of the tree nice and secure without the risk of falling down into a crevice. It can be seen if you look on the correct angle and height.
Thank you for the fun here Lazyade and Chooknchuck
A fav point from us as it was a fun adventure and your efforts to make this available for us to enjoy

Out and about early this morning to grab a couple of older caches around town but couldn't go past this one either.
This one was a journey as I had a little trouble with the wherigo cartridge. Ended up doing it twice and had no trouble at all the second time round. It's always worth the effort though.
Found the prize at the end with a little help from the CO
**Thanks for placing this cache Lazyade and Chooknchunk**

This cache took longer than I expected because I was a bit stiff and sore and missed one or two clues. I eventually found the clue I needed but it took a few goes until I was lying flat on the ground to get the right numbers. Heavens knows what the neighbors over the road were thinking if they noticed me, which was hard not to. The final leg was quite devilish but luckily I noticed something worth investigating which turned out to be just what I needed! A favourite point is going your way!
Today I visited a some selected caches as i travelled east and south of Melbourne down the Mornington Peninsula. It was a productive day with a nice selection of puzzle, traditional, letterbox, wherigo and multi caches.
This looked like a nice straightforward Wherigo and it was, more or less. The Wherigo ran perfectly on the iPhone and after sniffing out every spot but the right one, I eventually had the code and final coordinates. But finding the cache was another matter. I searched every nook and cranny that matched the clues without any luck. Then I had a slightly different thought and found it immediately. Nice hide.
Thanks Lazyade and Chooknchunk for a fun Wherigo cache.

Thank you for the awesome storyline, we really enjoyed meeting Rex and helping him find his bone.

We found the bone, and got 1mt to the treasure, but didn’t find it. We did see that a lot of the trees had tipped over. Still had a good look around, but no cache.
There was also a used needle on the ground, which we didn’t have the equipment to remove, sorry.
This wherigo was SO much fun for the kids, and it is a pity we couldn’t finish it off. But if CO does a check we will certainly return.
Thank you Chooknchunk!

Thank you to fam-o-five pointing out an issue with GZ. Temporarily disabling until one of us can get there to check it out and work something out.
Well Rex told us where to find his bone. We went there but nothing happened. Disappointing. Not sure what happened.
Found with Winniethebear. We wondered around trying to help Rex find his bone. It wasn't long before he remembered something. Was a relativly easy find. TFTC.
Sorry, backdated log, so can't remember all the details.

Found with legoman9x. We had wanted to do this one for a while. After all, there aren't that many where you go's out there. Rex was very informative and helpful. Was not not before we found his bone. Tftc
First wherigo ever and very cool idea I must say ) enjoyed venturing around the park, walking with no direction whatsoever and getting subtle clues along the way, interesting concept which I really like TFTC Lazyade and Chooknchunk !!

Accompanied with crank1 for the caching day in Keysborough/Moorabbin area. This is my first Wherigo that crank1 has taught me how to do it. I enjoyed it. Found it. It's my 899th found!! Thanks Lazyade and Chooknchunk for the Wherigo
Finally made it for this one and it was brilliant. Rex wss fun to hang with. Highly recommend. Fav given. Thanks to Lazyade and Chooknchunk for placing this cache.
Found with Lochb. We were in the area and decided to have a look at this whereigo. Parking at the listed co-ords we started the cartridge on our phones we made our way to the first indicated point. As we went we noted a couple of things. On my android phone a did not get a map, but I did get pop up sound effects indicating Rex had something to say. L had a map but no sound effects (on the iphone). Before going too far we had the first hint and then headed off to the indicated spot. We followed the clues and instructions although I was looking for something quite different when we found the 'bone'. The clue was specific so we got there. At Gz we tried looking for some time before looking at the spoiler photo which I had but L did not. With the picture L was able to find the cache very close to where we had looked before. Thanks Lazyade and Chooknchunk

#1391 So, a Sunday morning, a blank P366 and a geo-pup, all make a good combination to go and find Rex's Lost Bone. All went well with the wherigo. Missed the last stop as pup decided it was time for a run but coaxed her back so I could get the clue. Nice camo at GZ. TNLNSL, TFTC Lazyade and Chooknchunk. One day I shall try and construct one of these myself!
Checked today. Original cache had gone missing so a replacement is now in play.

A hot day for a walk but it didn't take long to get the coords. When I arrived at gz I checked the spoiler pic to confirm and I found a nice little hidey hole but there was no container inside.
Thanks Lazyade and Chooknchunk for the adventure.

Finally! I did the wherigo portion of this cache a few weeks back, but having forgotten about the useful hint supplied by Rex I had no luck finding the treasure... So I sent Tally Tiger and Zedaycee round to help Rex and they found it easily, mocking me mercilessly about it... Anyway, I'm finally here and my name has been added to the valiant list of Rex's helpers!
Great whereigo for a suburban park. This had us following Rex around the park looking for his bone. Once the bone was found getting the cache was another matter. The photo came in handy but even with that it took a while to get the actual cache. Was about to give up when I spotted something a little odd. TFTC
This cache was fun it was a nice sunny day and poor little Rex had lost it bone. So off we went sniffing for clues. Rex got a little side tracked at times but his leads got us to his well hidden bone and then to the well hidden log. With Zedaycee
With a couple of hours up my sleeve this afternoon (a fairly rare thing of late) I thought I'd try and combine caching with a bit of a walk as I'd been going a bit stir crazy the last few days (working from home whilst looking after two sick geokids), and this Wherigo seemed to fit the bill on all counts.
Despite the rather large number of muggles for the two footy matches already well underway (well, almost finished) when I arrived, I figured that even if I didn't retrieve the physical cache today, I should be able to at least move around the area and figure out where I'd need to come back to at a quieter time for any actual retrieve.
And so it was that, in the fine company of Master Rex, I set to wandering somewhat aimlessly (at first) around Le Page Park. I have to say that this was quite a different experience to the only other two Wherigos I've completed to date (both by Sir-J Oz) as they were fairly puzzle-heavy experiences, and so to begin with here I was wondering if the cartridge was working properly, as I couldn't seem to get anything beyond the initial message, but after triggering an event and then a second, I had a better idea of what was expected and it was all smooth sailing (well, bone-hunting) from there, as I moved from place to place accompanied by Rex's occasional commentary.
About 15 minutes later Rex's bone was found, and he'd given me the final co-ordinates. Since they appeared to be at a spot that I was going to have to pass anyway, I thought there couldn't be any harm in trying a walk-by to see if the coast was clear.
Against all odds, it actually was, with the footy being over by this time and the crowd dispersing, I effectively had GZ to myself. So with no-one there to watch I quickly located the well camouflaged container and signed the log.
Thanks for the cache, the walk and the novel experience, Lazyade and Chooknchunk! (And Rex, of course!)

This is only my third whereigo and it was a goodie. I enjoyed the walk (must confess that I did it in the school holidays but didn't have time to make the find once I had the final co-ordinates) and the final hide was well done. Thanks for the experience. A favourite for the cuteness factor
Happy to have helped Rex find his bone
A nice straight forward wherigo where everything went smoothly. Thanks for bringing me here and I hope Rex is more careful with his bones next time! Gets a favourite from me.

Eigthknox and I organised an impromptu night out but failed to plan where we would head so after a lengthy debate we agreed a whereigo would be our focus and this became our target. A fun cache and while on the hunt we got a scare from another dog who we assume must have also been looking for Rex's bone. This was a very well created cache Thanks chooknchunk
The second find for the night and the reason we headed out in this direction. Love a good whereigo and this did not let us down. tftf
Thank you for this fun wherigo on this cool summer's day. My geokid is happy Rex got his bone.
9:34 pm - Got some help from Don0110 as it was hard to find in the dark, but got there in the end. Tftc!
After attending the Victorian Cache of the year Awards we made the journey down south purposely to help Rex find his lost bone. When we pulled up near the starting coordinates we were shocked to see a game of cricket in progress and thought our chances were slim of achieving our mission today. Eventually we made the decision to try our best blending in, while searching for the missing bone , as we didn't want Rex to go hungry. While Rex did a lot of sniffing we worked through the flawless cartridge pretending to be interested in the local cricket match. By the time we had revealed the bone for a very relieved Rex the game was over and nobody noticed our retrieval. Thanks so much Lazyade & chooknchunk for the fun adventure this afternoon, be assured Rex didnt go hungry tonight
A favourite point well deserved.

Find #1399. Spending the day doing caches nominated in the 2016 cache of the year awards. This is our second whereigo so we are still learning the ropes. We hate to see a dog without his bone so we were obliged to help poor little Rex find his favourite bone. Rex gave us good solid leads and we were able to think like a dog and help him remember where he may have left it. We spent some time chasing our tails but with the help of Rex we found his prize possession. Thanks Rex for a fun adventure. Thanks for the cache and congratulations on the nomination. A favourite point from us.
