Crossing the busy road was the challenge of this cache today. Patience won and rewarded with a quick cache find!Spending some time on the south coast for a while. Mostly just some peace and quiet, but finding the time for a few caches as well. A but further exploring today. With some local caches we drove up past the Bay, to Milton, Ulladulla and Conjola. Really lovely locations and great weather to enjoy it in. It was nice to enjoy the coastal scenery and calm lakes and inlets. Really enjoyed the stingray feeding at Bendalong, saw a whale and had a great pie at Milton.
Spending some time caching around the NSW/ACT southern tablelands with lots of side trips. TFTC.A few quick caches around Batemans Bay and then off to the Ulladulla and Conjola area for some Earth Caches, some Ad Labs and an old 2003 multi.Lots of great scenery and even got to see sting ray feeding, a distant whale and also a lost cache. Nice quick find at X.
Accomplanied with ALL7, we solved this puzzle by each other help. Before going to town for some cache. At here, GZ lovely spotted.signed the log with no trouble..TFTM
No luck for us today. Appears we were a few metres out. Very busy on the highway, area certainly grown.
I stay at housesitting in the south coast and included Ulladulla for 2 weeks. im really enjoyed drive around the place ... BEAUTIFUL Beach .... tks
No smiley for us here today, perhaps next timeThanks for hiding and maintaining this geocache NationalSteel for us all to enjoy
A quick park and grab! Very quickly spotted the hide.Took a while to figure out the intersection of lines tool on GC toolbox, I thought I was going to need to manually map it out.Thank gosh we figured it out after reading the how to and plotting the coords!Tftc,TeamJFS
Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. What a fantastic day thanks to using Geocaching as our tour guide! Started the day at the Heritage bakery with some yummy pies then on to an amazing Rock Cave and then continued along the coastline most of the day. The weather was pretty rubbish we even had to stop at BCF and buy Mrs F a real raincoat! But we kept caching on between the heavy showers, all the way till sunset!TFTC NationalSteel
Were on our way to the Canberra Mega and are staying nearby at my sisters place enroute. Looking for some caches to find in the area this is one we chose. Its been unloved for over a year and we felt it was time it received some warranted attention. We saw the CO had recently replaced it so with worked out final co-ords we arrived and felt good that we made a quick find. It took us longer to get the log unrolled than it did to find the cache. With the log signed we replaced all as wed found it and managed to move on and find a few more. Cheers and happy caching!
Pre solved before going through Ulladulla. Currently raining quite a bit right now so this was a quick park and grab! TFTC!
Family holiday in nearby Manyana, planned one morning just for caching. It was an early start today to beat the heat, or the rain, maybe both. In the end, a beautiful day.

Third day of a two week driving holiday with the family. Todays trip took us from Shellharbour to Narooma. Looking at the route the night before, I spotted a couple of puzzles that were within my capabilities. This was the first of two that we attempted in Ulladulla.
Got to GZ easy enough. With the hide location a little open, I utilised cache anti muggle method # 22, The Lost Tourist. Whilst looking around I was on the phone taking directions from no-one. The container was spotted an on to the car bonnet for signing. Signed as AWT?. Was a little easier to return.
Thanks very much for the puzzle and the cache placement NationalSteele. Cheers

Day 13 of our 2 week road trip south from Brisbane. After overcoming floods, a bogged car and vehicle electrical issues, we finally reached Canberra to spend a few days with relatives before continuing south for a loop around the Snowy Mountains. From there we headed towards Eden to commence the run north towards home following along the coastline.
On our way to our accommodation for the night in Mollymook I had time left for another cache. This was one of the puzzles I managed to solve on departure. I initially overshot GZ and had to do a u-turn up the road and head back. Found a close parking spot so it was only a short stroll to GZ. No problem locating the cache. All safe and well here. TFTC

Finally mage the find and signed the log. We’ve had our eyes on this one for years, but with Covid we haven’t been able to travel back to Oz and come down here for some time. Today was the day. Container and log are in great nick. SLTNLN TFTC
Found with AMobious after work appointments. He had solved itsometime ago and we are just now getting to find and log it. TFTC
On holidays today, I was very pleased to have been able to make this solve easily from the comfort of my bed (so nice when plotting goes to plan). Dragged myself up for lunch, a kayak at the inlet, too many games of 1970’s trivial pursuit and a late night rendezvous with 1000s hermit crabs, it was time to make the find.
MuggleGeorge and I arrived at GZ and for the first time in days it was dead quiet. Perfect for hunting for this! Guessing GZ from the car, I jumped out and proceeded to make friends with the many many spiders guarding the area. That was until I realised there was another possible GZ, on which I made a fast find.
Very satisfying to have this all done and dusted at 5mins to 12.
Thanks for all the fun. Thanks for the cache.

After using an app to make a beautiful big x, we went directly to the cache location. It was a lovely find! Thanks!
I worked this out before coming to visit, although my coordinates were only in the general area. After searching the wrong sign I moved on and found the tiny cache. Cache and log are good. TFTC NationalSteel.
Out with Youban on an early morning caching romp before breakfast and while we waited for the Geofamily to wake up.
This cache: We had solved the puzzle ages ago and it was a fun one to do.
This morning we finally were able to pick up the cache. A nice quick find with not much passing traffic. Tftc NationalSteel!!!

Down for a weekend away and this was the closest cache. A nice easy find with good coordinates. TFTC.
Great micro cache. I tried this one weeks ago then realised it was not one to be done on the spot. So after working it out at home we came back with a spot in mind and after reading comments about the micro cache we were able to find it
After a few tries at the puzzle, I realised it wasn’t as hard as I thought. The micro container lived up to its name, so I wasn’t surprised that it hadn’t been found since July. Thanks!
Found tyftc. this trip for july school holidays NSW south coast in and around Nowra, where my great uncle Dave lived at Culburra for many years. Find #2020
Solved and good to see a cache right on X.
Found on another epic caching loop with H423L which included the St Arnaud mega and many other magnificent Australian locations.

Today the family and geo oma made a trip to Ulladulla. Ended up doing a number of caches up here I had my eye on, good variety of caches around here.
Now I had tried and solve this cache on the phone on the go adn though I done a pretty good job but somehow it was not meant to be I only had little time for quick stop and search and nothing obvious so had to let it be.
Thank you NationalSteel for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

After camping near Bateman’s Bay last night, today I made my way up the coast as far as Jervis Bay before heading to the Clear Waters event at Queanbeyan. It was another great day weather wise and I had a good time picking up a few caches along the way.
Some quick calculations on the run resulted in a feasible coordinates and a quick find.

Now that was fun! In planning our trip from Sydney to Batemans Bay we checked out interesting caches along the way,. This more than qualified . Mrs Gaztek knew of this kind of puzzle but hadn’t had the opportunity to work one out yet. Once we got the alphabet in the right order, an answer popped out. And there was the geocache waitmg for us. Log very full but managed to squeeze our name in around 2017.SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
This was a straightforward puzzle and we soon had a set of feasible coordinates. Today we went to look for the cache. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. We struggled to find a spot to sign the log as it was full. It does need a new log. Thanks NationalSteel for the puzzle and the cache.
Daytrip down the coast for a SES exercise provided the perfect excuse and disguise for a quick detour to clean out the majority of my unfound traditionals in the area plus two mysteries I’d been avoiding. Having done some similar puzzles recently and now aware of helpful resources, I had another attempt at solving this one with a likely spot determined and confirmed on arrival. Had to utilise onsite TOTT to reach and time between the constant traffic but logging duties completed and another yellow smiley appears on my map. Log is full however and I didn’t have a spare on me today.
Hmm ... out with my electronic geotoolkit for this one. Needed a couple of tools and a pencil and paper and the coords just popped out - clearly correct. A quick park and grab and it was done. Love it when a plan comes together! Tftc
With the solution already solved, and a nearby cache occupied, we approached GZ with certain expectations about the cache type and size and were not surprised when we found it. Quickly sorting out the log duties, we waited a bit for passerby to clear the area before we returned to complete the hide. We then hopped back in the car and continued on our journey south. Quite enjoyed solving this one. Thanks very much for the hide!

A nice quick find as I was making the return trip to Nowra from Batemans Bay. A couple of GZ's presented themselves on arrival, but the container was soon spotted and rmoved for business. I took it back to the car for log extraction, added my name, reassembled the bits and pieces, then dropped back in place.
All done, time was ticking away, so I hit the road.
Cheers NationalSteel.

I had a huge weekend down in the Milton/Ulladulla area. An overnight camping trip at Yadboro Flats for a mates birthday was the main reason for the visit. I had a quick look at the map during the week and figured that I could just about wipe the area clean! So I woke up early on Saturday morning and made the drive down. Between 8am and 5pm, I managed to find every cache I attempted! Thanks to all the Cache Owners for their caches.

We usually only tackle puzzle caches that we have solved before we leave home, but Mr Beetle was getting bored last night while I was busy logging so I gave him this one to look at. He solved it easily but with no geochecker we weren't sure he had it right. But at our calculated GZ the container was quickly found. Thanks.
Worked this puzzle out while in batesmans bay yesterday and thought we would grab it on the way home. Another great puzzle cache Thanku National steel
Solved this one on Friday by plotting it onto Google Earth. I am sure that there are more precise ways of doing it! At any rate, the CO confirmed my location was close enough to find. Today my nephew and I ducked by to claim the find, mind you, he could not quite reach it!

Finally got around to finding this cache and puzzle. Good hide and nice find. TFTC
First, we drew a scale drawing and got the coords. Then Dan realised that he could write equations of the lines and solve the simultaneous equations. Which he did and found one coord exactly the same as from the scale drawing and the other about 20m out. GR8. TFTC
Solved this one a while ago, but hadn't had the time to pick up the physical cache till today. Very busy road today and struggled to find a safe spot for parking. Then it was a quick and easy find.

I do like a Mystery that can be completed before heading into the field. With the right tool this one was easy enough, although I'd never seen one like it before and like the idea of X marking the spot. At GZ we walked straight up to it, did the signing duties and were on our way.

Had a few days in Ulladulla doing some SES stuff but when some free time presented itself i couldn't resist the urge to get out and find a few local caches.
Had a potential GZ for this one before leaving home so as I headed to my motel I stopped and soon had this one in hand.

A nice little cache idea! Managed to nut this one out n a non-technical way- a ruler and another straight line on the screen! An estimated spot determined today on the way past found straight away! TFTC!
This was another puzzle that I enjoyed solving. GZ was just a short drive from where we are staying in Mollymook and the cache was found in the first place we looked. Thanks for a great little puzzle and hide.
The weekend had arrived so fitzy_1965 and I decided to head off on a coastal geomission to nab a whole bunch of caches-the drawcard being going for the wander to nab the Abrahams Bosom Reserve series and whatever else we could grab!
Solved the puzzle in preparation for our geomission-with the right tool it was easy Initially we searched one structure before moving to another for the quick find. Busy spot!
Thanks for the hide, NationalSteel!

11149. Found during a weekend run down to the coast with specimenX.
After an epic Day 1 of our coast run mainly walking around "Abrahams Bosom" Reserve yesterday, today specimenX and I started early and refreshed for another big day of caching before heading home. Next stop for the day. This was a fun puzzle to solve (fun=easy puzzle for a change!) and a quick find once we were at GZ. Log signed, cache returned, and we were off to the next one !
Thanks NationalSteel !!

Also here I could solve the riddle and find a treasure. Took the gold, diamonds and necklaces out of it and logged the book.

I am house sitting down at Batemans Bay for a couple of weeks.
And I am slowly finding most of the geocaches in the area.
And then I discovered a puzzle a little north of here that is a rare D/T combination.
Eventually I solved the puzzle and a day trip north was planned.
As I had time, I stopped in town to find a few of the caches as I went north. [^]
I solved this one at home before venturing out.
A quick find here.

My second attempt at this one. Gave up walked back to the car my wife said yoohooo and held up the cache. how embarrassing!!! TFTC worth a favourite
Another beautiful day in Ulladulla and more caches to find, We worked out the X and found the cache. A busy spot. TFTP
Our first find on our big day out in Ulladulla. Once I worked out how not to get 2 parallel lines then it was easy. Pulled over near GZ and had a quick look around 3 possible locations before turning around & seeing geohubby standing next to one with a smirk on his face ! SL TFTC NationalSteel
We had ear marked a few earth caches to be done and saw this puzzle was close and on looking at it knew we could solve it and soon came up with a likely set of numbers and a check on google earth confirmed. A bit of road works around so a longer route to GZ from the earth cache. A quick find at GZ and our initials added to the log. TFTC.
TikvaNZ, Fox in Jox (with Ralf the geohound) and I headed to the coast today to collect a few quality caches that we had picked out beforehand. After an early start, we collected 13 caches, including 4 T5 caches, 2 earth caches, 2 puzzle caches, and a couple of random traditionals which helped us with DT and JASMER challenges. A great day with lots of fun, jokes and cache talk - TikvaNZ and I even solved two puzzles in the car trip down and back.
Cache #8 for the day. TikvaNZ thought he might have solved this one before we left - so we dropped on for a speculative look. It was just as well someone has their looking eyes turned on today, as one person in the group completely overlooked the obvious cache at GZ!
Thanks for the puzzle and fun NationalSteel!
PS: I did a post find solve on this - thank goodness for good geocaching tools that can do the maths for me - the coords calculated seemed pretty much spot on!

AngelG27, Fox in Jox and I came down from Canberra for a days caching. After finding some high T caches at Lake Canjola by kayak, we stopped for a wonderful fish and chip lunch in Ulladulla. Afterwards it was back into caching. I had solved this one last night and it was on the way to an earthcache AngelG27 wanted so we stopped here first. I failed to see the cache and headed off to look in another spot when AngelG27 found it right where I had looked! TFTC.

Today was a road-trip from Canberra and a great way for me to celebrate my 100th day of geocaching, with 100 consecutive days of finds. I travelled with AngelG27, TikvaNZ and my faithful geohound, Ralfie. We collected caches on the way to Lake Conjola, where we met up with ZQX to collect four T5 caches and then collected more caches on our return, with some Earthcaches, a 2003 cache and fun traditional caches on the coast and inland along the Clyde River. What a fun day with good friends.
Oh...and a Puzzle cache. TikvaNZ said that he had solved this and was keen to check the spot. We joined in and agreed if we found it, would complete a post find solve, which I have now done. We arrived at GZ. TikvaNZ and I searched a likely spot, declared nothing to be seen and began to move on, until AngelG27 looked in the same spot and declared "found it". I think we must have looked through it. Groan. The spot aligned within 2m of my calculations. TFTC NationalSteel

This puzzle was straight forward. Which we solve in preparation for our trip down to Narooma, bit of a miserable drizzle morning. Glad the cache wasn't in the nearby location where we started out search, it would have been lost forever. TFTC
Geocaching wasn't on my agenda when I finished work today, instead I decided spontaneously to visit the Ironology exhibition by Jodhi Doyle at Cupitts Winery with my daughter. (Jodhi’s - aka The Scrappy Sculptor- first solo exhibition is now on at Cupitt’s Winery Cellar Door gallery. Jodhi’s work inspired by mythology and fantasy is made from sculpting abandoned scrap metal, some of the material dates back 100 years. It is incredible how he brings the metal to life.)
So after a pleasant afternoon filled with art, live music and wood-fired pizza, we decided to delay going home and checked out this cache instead. I wasn't confident that I'd plotted the co-ords correctly, and drew a blank on my first and second searches. (there is a cross in the vicinity, but it's a red herring). So as I was about to go back to the maps, my daughter pointed out a 3rd possibility, and she was spot on!
Glad to be 2TF on this one, and thanks for a fun cache.

I have been working on an alphabetical order challenge for some time and have successfully reached "W". On a recent trip to Sydney I DNFed the only cache beginning with "X" within 200 Km of home. During the recent event at Rotary Park I mentioned this fact to the group there and, all of a sudden, GeoSon NationalSteel published a cache within a couple of kilometers from home.
My first attempt led to a "No intersection" result so I changed things around a bit and soon had a likely looking set of coordinates. Big decision time. Do I leave this one for a time when I need a quick local find, or do I rush out and grab the FTF?
Easy decision: there's always another local cache to be found.
When I arrived at GZ, I searched the obvious spot with no luck. I expanded my search to a couple of other likely spots and had no luck again. Eventually I went back to the first spot and found it almost immediately. Then my pen wouldn't work, so back to the car for another pen and all was well.
The cache was in good condition. We signed the log and replaced the container as found.
Thanks NationalSteel for the cache, for the "X" and for the FTF. Together they add up to an FP from me..
