Passing by this location, so 4 of us stopped here to search. The wind kept most of the fishermen away, and the few out were facing the opposite direction, so we were able to give the area a good going over. However we couldn't find anything.
Had this on radar to do today but as we cycled closer and saw the 50+ muggles out on the wharf decided it needed to wait for another day. will be back
Took two times to get this as it was covered by fishermen the first time.
Needs repair as the corrosion has seized the container

Thought that mid morning might be a suitable time to grab this but hint location was occupied by a group fishing - undersized seemed to be the preferred catch- will try again another day.
I was doing a 6+ mile run along the path in this area and decided to run out on the wharf to look for this cache. I used the hint to make this find and sign the new log. Then I returned the cache to its spot and resumed my run. TFTC!
This place is always so busy and today was no exception, great to see the "Ovation of the Sea" out in the harbour and a very big container vessel leaving port. TFTC
Wow so many people fishing off here tonight (9.30pm) and even police at the end of the wharf. A quick find of the cache by torch light. Log signed b&p. Find number 4109.
Thanks for the cache Lost Emma.
Thanks for the cache Lost Emma.
Windy +++, found it following compass and clues. No pen, kids devo that we couldn't sign. Best views in Auckland. 2 x fishing muggles - unsuspecting as we were totally cool. Thanks Auckland. Happy GC
It was quite windy today, only one fishermen far enough. Thanks for the cache
Found it w no muggles around but too windy to sign. Might be the most gorgeous cache spot I've been
TFTC. Managed to get the log open far enough to sign it without losing it in the breeze. There's still room there for more Cachers to sign it.
Happily not too hard to spot and retrieve as there were a few fishermuggles around.
Had to be careful due to high wind!
Thanks

After two days spending time in LA, we took our next flight to New Zealand. We arrived Auckland in the morning. After taking a short break we took a walk on the Millenium Beach and to the wharf. Nice view to the city. We found the nano very easy.
Thanks to Lost Emma.

Patiently waited for a fisherman to move from the corner and found it. Didn't sign log as it was so windy I was worried it would blow away. Tftc
Super Fun! My mate was flying his Drone off the wharf and I quickly found it and signed my name. It was super small!
Was down at Kelly Tarlton's today so on way back to car we decided to see if we could grab this. A family fishing in the middle of the walkway down had taken up the full walkway so had to step over fishing stuff and dead fishes. However as we got to the end partner was quick to find the cache. Found, signed and returned. Great views. Thanks for the cache.
Always enjoy the walk along this wharf and on a fabulous Auckland day, it was time to get this cache. Our luck wasnt in as there was only one fisherman on the entire wharf and he was right at GZ. He wasnt budging anytime soon so we took a furtive photo of the cache. The CO has approved our Found It log without signing the physical log. TFTC and the scenic views always on offer from this location.
1,003 out playing Pokemon Go and hunting for caches at the same time. Fantastic spot. TFTC and deserves a favourite too.
Thought I'd give jogging a go since everyone around here seems to be doing it, and a recent running magazine I read said that anyone can start with their existing shoes/shorts to "see if it appeals". Well if sounding like an asthmatic girl whilst suffering repeated pangs of chest, back, calf and ankle pain is appealing, then I'm in! The scenery would have been beautiful today had my eyes not been stinging with a mixture of sunlotion and sweat. A 6km first run was admittedly a bit ambitious, but it essentially spoilt a perfectly good walk - the highlight being the GC (and the rest this afforded). Nice location, log dry, deserves a fave point!
Out and about enjoying a sunny Sunday. Enjoyed the walk out here. Surprisingly quiet. Made a pretty quick find. SL. TFTC.
Found with kiwitrecker1 whilst enjoying a warm, sunshine filled day in what is supposed to be winter. Double bonus was that the fishing people were at the opposing end today meaning that I could take some photos of the city from this vantage point and locate the cache without too much difficulty. TFTC!!
Nice and early this morning before the tourists all arrived. Only one fishermuggle but that was on the way in and not at GZ. This one has been on our radar for a while as it was a blotch on our sea of yellow in east Auckland. Glad to have knocked this one off. TFTC.
A nice walk on a cool night. Beautiful view of the city lights. A few squid fishermen there, but not catching anything. Cache was quickly spotted and signed. Thanks
Yay !
Finally got this pesky tiny hidden cache .....my third visit .....people fishing....but not concerned with what I was up to....Phew !
Thanks for the hide !

Managed to spot first...then in for a sneaky grab. Just been to Kelly tarltons, was great! Tftc
We made the trek from Mission Bay only to find a guy fishing right at GZ (probably not the same guy that another logger found, we went went in the morning). So annoying, but we managed to get it in the end. Thanks for bringing us to this beautiful spot
Found after a wee search, such a sneaky hide! A man was fishing in the corner we needed so ended up asking him if we could sneak in and he joined us on the hunt!
We had a good look around the spot that the clue hints at. Nothing. Maybe the fisherfolk and the lashing gales have sent it tumbling.
Firstly, this one is **definitely** here! And the clue is very helpful.
There was no one at GZ when I drove past so I grabbed the opportunity fro a muggle free look.
Secondly, unless the brand new log has been replaced, then I am THE FIRST TO SIGN!! FTS!!
The log was difficult to access so I put it back with a bit more thought. But I am the first to leave my mark here..........
Thanks for the fun cache lost Emma and for my FTS.

Looked everywhere we thought it could be. Given the amount of DNF, we wonder if it is still there. Can you confirm if it is as we'd love to go back and try.
Came back to the wharf to nail a cache we missed a year ago - then found it was gone and a new cache positioned. Will return with an open mind next time.
Out and about this afternoon enjoying a walk with the younger Future Finder. He parked up and made the walk down the length of the pier. There where several fishermen/women and sightseers about. Luckily most of the traffic was at the other end of things. The FF made for excellent cover while I tied my shoe laces and retrieved the cache. Formalities completed we waved at a passing sail boat before returning the cache to its spot. No one was any the wiser. Cheers for the cache placement!
No luck this time... We were the two of us searching at the hinted location and nothing...
We tried all the possible (that we thought) but couldn't see anything... We tried pulling fish lines, but all were loose or cut...
We will have to try another day

Coordinates need updating; the cache is 20m off from the published coordinates. Without the provided hint people who follow their GPSr will be led to search in the wrong location.
went out tonight with Voshed to check out a couple of new caches ended meeting up with Alpinemilch, schlescie, and Harisee +1 with no luck at earlier cache we headed up to this one but no harisee and plus 1 so it was armed with new clue voshed myself Alpinemilch and schlescie headed out a few fishermen out there tonight but the x4 of us formed a huddle and I soon spotted this one, YAAY FTF 14 for me and joint FTF with these x4, co ords are well out but new clue is pretty specific, TFTC , sorry for bad spelling of names..
Out with schlescie today failing on an epic FTF adventure and sadly moved on. Together with Voshed and lokky1 we had better luck on this FTF . Still searched for a while but found in the end thanks to the updated hint. TFTC

So, our duet met another dynamic duo of lokky1&Voshed, and were soon joined by yet another one of slieschke&alpenmilch80 by the Walking on Water cache. Didn't manage that one so went to check out this. But our Toyota couldn't really keep up with their Lamborghinis so we came out second on this race...
And none of those guys even bothered to note down the time of their finish, how rude!
I hadn't even noticed that this cache had been sitting out there unfound for three whole days, otherwise we would have come sooner already!
Thanks for the cache!

after a fun filled backslide at another ftf chase, the group headed to this one. But silly us, not so familiar with the city roads lost our way some where and landed up to be [2TF]. we found this tiny little hide after bit of a search. cool windy night with some amazing city views. tftc.

After the side splitting humor of the previous search, the gang (see previous logs) sped off into the night to see if amended clue could give us a chance at a FTF on the Wharf. Note to self 'don't get down wind of Simon when he's been playing in the mud'. Cache soon to hand; well one hand to find it and another more delicate one to extract log. Definitely safety in numbers as Fishing Muggles took no notice of a Gang of 4 with torches. Cheers V.
After an unsuccessful floating adventure it was off to here with alpenmilch80, lokky1 and Voshed to have another go at this. With the information from the updated hint (thanks!) it was clear I was searching in the wrong place at the published coordinates. Thankfully this was a reasonably quick find with our numbers, and an (FTF) to boot.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Visited. But no luck right at GZ. I had to wonder is the difficulty rating correct, the coordinates accurate, or is the cache even still there? Given the location and no hint it makes it rather hard to know
We visited on Sunday evening. Still a lot of people about but we had a good look at the hinted location rather than the posted location but could not find anything
