Omegaman1971Support Your Local VillainLive - Laugh - LurkFirst To Find: 188Sidetracked Cache Finds: 137After a long week of work, it's awesome to be out caching with my buddy Rebel Acts. We got an early start to try and beat the rain in the forecast later on.As always, it was a great day of caching. Here's one of the caches we found. Thanks for the cache!
Out and about with omegaman, there are always plenty of laughs while we are turning caches into smiles. This is one of the caches found today. Sadly there was no eftpos machine at the bank. Thanks Watashi4 for the cache. FAV
Day 20 of my 114km Stepping Up to Breast Cancer Walking Challenge in August. This 7km walk takes my official total to 117km - only whole kms are counted.I parked at The Nook. This was #5 for today. My fellow dog walked stopped at the corner so I had to bypass that hide........ & the next one when he continued behind me but with a bit of intense walking, we had a big enough gap for this find & return. We even spotted a train coming through the cutting below. A great hide - fav point from me. Many thanks
another well constructed cache that makes caching in the rain enjoyable. Very quiet out and about today so an easy find.arigatou gozaimasu Watashi4regardskbucky
We found this cache after attending the 2024 Cache Crawl breakfast in Sunbury. TFTC. Fave point awarded
It's been a while since I've been out caching in Sunbury but while out here for my daughter's football game I took the opportunity to look for some of the more recently published hides. A quick walk over to gz where I made the find on the nicely constructed hide. All the hides along this little trail are of a high quality, thanks for your efforts in creating these hides for everyone to enjoy.
Out in the PeuGEOt today with little Geocache hunting in our old home area of Gisborne/Sunbury.TFTC
That is one of my favourite caches so far. Love when they are hidden in plain sight!
I ended up finding this cache on my second attempt. During my initial attempt a number of minutes earlier, there were a fair few muggles walking around the area. I decided it would be a better idea to continue onwards towards GCA4G4Q, and then attempt to find this one on my return journey, hoping there would be no muggles by then. Lucky for me, when I returned to GZ, the coast was clear which gave me plenty of opportunity to locate this cache. I managed to find the cache fairly quickly, though I did doubt myself initially as the lid was very well stuck on. I got it off eventually and the cache then presented itself to me. After signing the log, I placed it all back together and continued on my way.TFTC
The previous day Donutholes notified me that he had a day free. So we made plans the following day to grab a few caches around Sunbury.Who knew it was going to be 36, but it added to the days caching entertainment.Log signed and replaced as found. Thanks for the traditional cache watashi4 #7,758
12 Jan 2024 will be 8 years "as placed" - not muggled once (touch wood). Please be stealthy!
Second find on a route I put together last night to reignite my enthusiasm for caching. TN, left a pathtag. TFTC
Another nice little hike. Had us wondering where the heck this one was going to be on approach.Found safe and sound. TFTC.
Signed TRC. I have a day to myself, so I was planning to finish the Woodlands Park 100, but the gates were locked. So I decided to spend the day a little up the road caching in Sunbury. Found this one just as it started raining. This is not a location to get caught in the rain without a jacket!
Having attended a recent event in Brisbane where a fellow cacher brought my attention to the geo tour in Ballarat and its up coming finish in February, i knew this was something I had to make an effort to get to.I also quickly realised that the attribute for the geo tour is the last one I need to achieve a personal challenge so the planning began.Today is day three of the mission and Ive completed the geo art and the tour so Im very happy. Todays mission is to get to 100 in this local LGA and then head towards Sunbury in the hope to pick up another 25 to also reach 100 in that LGA before my flight out tonight. Obviously this is for a local challenge cache at home. What else. Unfortunately I missed the events in Castlemaine. Time got the better of me.I jumped in The geowagon and ventured off the o soon find a nice parking spot. A short stroll later soon found me at ground zero. It wasnt long before cache was found and my name was printed for prosperity. I returned the cache to its hiding space and made my way back to the car. Ready to head to the next adventureA big thanks to the cache owners of Ballarat for making this cache available to be found.Cheers
Koala stamp awarded for such a clever cache! It's in excellent condition. No need to cross the fence. Thanks for bringing me here on a fine blustery morning. SL TN L a toy car.
Watashi4 knows how to hide a geocache:). I have to get back out here and find more of your hides.
As I approached GZ I knew exactly what was needed. Logged, replaced and it's now ready for its next visitor.
Thanks for the hide

Today we headed to Sunbury since it was the last day that we could find the 21 caches for the solstice souvenir plus I would also be able to complete my 20 days this month for the out and about hard souvenir. Also as a bonus this was my last day of the year to complete finding a multi of all 365 days of the year and with a few multis out this way I didn't want to have to wait another whole year so that's why we chose this area for our adventure today. We found some really awesome caches too in the few hours we were here and only had one giant rain storm for about 10 minutes and that was it.
This was one of those nicely constructed caches. Really blends in well with it's friends.
Thanks Watashi4 for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Out with Slowdog for the afternoon caching, I was quick to make this find..Fav point very nice construction.
Spending a few hours caching in the Sunbury area with Tiz13 with the plan to get my 1000th find today. It began with a few easier caches just off the walking track. The weather was fantastic and we had a few laughs on the way. I looked at the map and thought I found a 'short cut' There were many thistles and prickles that stood in our way, a train track to cross and then a sneaky journey through Salesian College which luckily school was out. But I got there in the end - I'm now part of the 1000 club.
Found it! Cool little hiding place!
Signed the log paper and back as found!
Thank you

TFTC, a quick and easy cache to find. A quick detour on the way home to find these set of caches!
Great views from here, to so many areas restricted to visiting. So close to the packed houses and shops, is open green fields and valleys.
Lid was on very tight here, however got it open and boys were delighted with the container.
Thanks for putting out such a great cache.
