Could be a nice spot but the bags of poop and toilet paper in abundance didnt keep us looking for very long.
Grabbing some caches on a the trip to High country.Maggie was a bit hit and miss for me a few dnf'sThanks CJPERX
On a camping road trip to East Gippsland and over the border into NSW, Eden, picking up a few caches along the way, this being one of them. Touring around Lake Glenmaggie today the area was pretty much deserted. This took a bit of searching but Mrs Pooky eventually spotted the well camouflaged hide as she was standing in the right spot and looking in the right direction. TFTC and the history. SL.
TFTC SL - tricky coordinates here. On my way back to Paradise Valley. Cache is in great condition
Enjoyed the 700-meter walk along the lake . Thankfully, this cache didn't take too long to find ... I saw micro on the log page and thought but I managed to look in the right place.
Spending the day out caching with @searchingformacca on the way home from weekend camping. Nice quickfind here.TFTC
Out for the weekend Cacheing with @Smithiesoutbackgear. Love the Cache and was a good find. Cheers

We took a more adventurous road towards this cache that provided a lot of excitement. This one took a little longer to locate, but managed to find it in the end. TFTC!

Found not where we first started to look with so many options of places to hide it. Another beautiful spot for a find with yummy az eats Tftc
Too many DNFs (those logged; many aren't) for a 1D cache. I add to the DNFs. Too difficult for me in the time I was willing to spend here. Only a 1D to those who know where it is. Not to others. DNF!
Started off on the wrong side of the tree and then Mr 7 spotted it on the other side. TFTC
Had a nice morning out at the lake finding some caches with my Da. Successful day for a couple of newbies.
White caps on the lake so no-one playing I spy or “recreating” here today. It’s been decades since I was last here so it’s a trip down memory lane for me. Taking a Circuitous route to Melbs via Dargo and an Event near Mt Erica so why not head here too? Having said that, the big plan was to head north of Lincoln BUT unexpected rain and drizzle just happens to be hovering so given I go places for views, Glenmaggie it is! . TFTC and the fun.
Really fun find.
Being navigated to the middle of the lake was a bit of a surprise, but easier after it recalibrated. (Phew! I hadn’t fitted the snorkel)

F(H)ound It! #3758 @ 3:05 PM
A lovely afternoon geocaching with the Ridgeo-pup and Maddie the dog, SisterOutlaw and BrotherOutlaw.
Although the area is pretty busy with holiday makers, we quickly made the find sheltered from prying eyes.
Thanks for the cache, CJPERX

Today is a magnificent day for a geocaching run along the western lake edge on my bike. This was my third find for the morning and had me a little stumped for a while but after a bit of “hanging around” I made the find TFTC
Did not take too long to find.
Was larger than what we expected.
We expected a tiny tube and ended up with a bison.

First find for today & first find of our 2021 holiday which we started today. Thanks.
Chose this series to introduce a friend of mine to caching. She loved it, as did I. A wonderful series I had been meaning to do for a while, and an excellent example of how much fun caching is and the variety of caches that can be hidden and found. Thank you CJPERX
Our plan today was a short drive to Lake Glenmaggie and spend some relaxing time sightseeing and a few caches.
The water level was really high, well past the tree line here. This was a great place for lunch.
Thanks for the cache.

We spent a great weekend camping with the geokids on the Macalister River and finding geocaches around Glenmaggie, Heyfield and surrounds. Caches were signed/stamped between 25-27th, September. We found some really beautiful little spots around here! Thanks so much for placing and maintaining these caches I know we weren’t FTF but bring the First to sign new log is almost as good!
Unfortunately there does not seem to be any evidence that indicates that steps have been taken to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement or an indication as to when this might take place
It would appear the owner of this cache listing is no longer interested in the cache and the cache has been abandoned.
As such the cache is being de-listed (Archived). If there are components or remnants of the cache, please recover them as we don't want to litter our environment with Georubbish.
If you wish to contact me regarding this cache, please send an email via my profile - [**Bunjil**,](https://coord.info/PR9GZ0K) and quote the cache name and GC number.

We took a run to the area since it was such a nice day to reinstate this cache. Unfortunately due to restrictions we are not able to stay but soon hopefully we can when things get back to normal. Happy caching

Hi CJPERX,
This cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache can be addressed, as well as to remove it from search listings.
Please note that CO's of caches disabled during the current COVID19 crisis will be given some extra time to react as we recognise that CO's can't always just pop out and fix the issue. Caches where the cache owner does not currently feel safe to maintain will not be archived.
#What should you do:-#
- Should you feel it safe for you to maintain and address this cache now, AND your regional Health and Governmental authorities allow it, please feel free to do so.
- **Alternatively,** what you need to do is place a Write Note log indicating a date when you you expect you might be able to attend to the issue/s.
#Please Note#
When I next check on the cache, if there is no acknowledgment from the CO as requested above, the cache will most likely be de-listed (Archived).

If it's there it's definitely higher than a D1. We hunted high, low and everywhere we could think of, but no luck.
Found while on a caching day trip with gwd.aussie. Glad for the shade while we searched. Frustratingly I was arms length away looking in the direction of the cache but still missed spotting it when luckily it spotted by gwd.aussie who was coming towards it from a different angle.
Thanks CJPERX
Thanks CJPERX
This one should of been easier, it about the angle.
Once found, why didn't we see it sooner?
Are we getting cache blind.
On a caching run with D@geo
Thank you for the cache CJPERX

Climbing certainly made spotting easier but didn't help retrieval. Cache was found in good condition after I located the log which I managed to flick out of the cache and up the tree while trying to remove it. Gee i love these trees. Tftc
TFTC. Day 3 in Gippsland and today we ventured to Glenmaggie. I (Hans) have never been here, Linda has a long time ago. One of our daughters now holiday here every January. being close by we though we would let geocaching be our guide around Glenmaggie and Heyfield. A great couple of hours . All caches found were in good order .
no luck today
having a quick run around a few more of these on this visit to Heyfield
