Darn, this has gone missing. I do have a replacement so I can put a new one out. Hopefully this one doesn't get muggled as it will be my last for here!
well back again and still no luck, but this time a teacher with her kids playing in the park came over and told us that it is missing, as she found it sometime ago and it is not where it should be
Done with a cat wanting to play with me while I was searching. Just about wondered if it'd jump in the car and come with me home... except I'm not going home for another 48 hours, and I shouldn't leave a cat in the car for that long... Today I'm On my way from New Plymouth to Taumaranui, the long way via Wanganui picking up caches on the way! A group of us are meeting up in Taumaranui tomorrow to take a jetboat down the Wanganui river! Yippee! should be cool (in both senses of the word).
Another good find with jackeesback on a road trip today.
Well engineered hide - even when finding it was hard to notice it as a geocaching container.
Was a little tight to open but got it sorted - log was a soggy mess so we left a new plastic logsheet.

Found it, tmann421 and I replaced the log. Great cache a lot of work in that one.
After just about giving up we spot what we think is the cache, after doubting ourselves we find it. Definitely deserves a favourite.
Wondered around a little in the freezing cold thought we'd spotted the out of place item, but no. We were keen to find given the favourites this one had. We saw something else, but thought we'd been fooled again, but on better inspection we had found it!
Wonder what I was looking for until I spotted it. Seen many of these but they don't get old. Tftc
A quick easy find of a clever variation we haven't previously encountered of this type of hide. A favourite from us. TFTC
Heading for New Plymouth and passed by this cache today so we had to perform a U turn and come back and park up. it must have been a good day with no atmospheric conditions because our gps took us straight to the cache and on arrival soon spotted the cache in question, log signed and replaced the cache as found, thanks for the placement and the smiley.

už jsem se s takovou skrýší setkal, ale pořád to je dobré
chvilku nám sice trvalo přijít na to, kde je, ale pak se mi to zdálo podezřelé

Found it. Had a lot of trouble opening it so may be worth the CO checking it. Awesome container, gets a fav from me
Was down in Hawera this morning for the Nexus Walk, so before prizegiving I had some time, so quickly thought I would do a couple of caches, found pretty quickly, very quiet and no bowls been played, tftc thatsneat
Found with trayc.g, logging now as I have my own account. Liked this placement. Was fun TFTC
I spotted this object even picked it up and dismissed as it didn't look like it would open. After another 10ish mins tried the object again and it did open. TFTC
I think I know the sort of thing I'm looking for and didn't see anything like it here.
Very well done, first one I have seen like that, nice and early so no one around bar a couple of cars that drove past, trying to get as many in as poss before the rain comes (turns out the weather man was 2 hours off) tftc
Out for a day of geocaching around Hawera. As today was World Sauntering Day - the day to take it easy; relax, go for a stroll and enjoy some valuable ‘me time’, a day which encourages you to slow down and enjoy the world around you. So no excuses, time to go strolling looking for geocaches. Turned out it was the day for it, found 23 out of 24 caches.
No one around as I follow the GPSr to a spot where as I approached GZ I saw something that looked familiar so gabbed it and yes it did what I expected it to do - cache found. I nicely crafted cache thatsneat. Signed log and left as found. Thanks for the placement.

On a little geotrip around the mountain with JayDubENT, Casey2201 and AABrown29. Very cool camo
On a little geotrip around the mountain with Casey2201, AABrown29, Riddick0163. Very cool hide. Knew we had something different with the amount of favorites. Thanks
Found with JayDubENT, AABrown29 and Riddick0163 on a round the mountain GeoTrip. Awesome camouflage
Well that had me scratching my head a little. Well done on the hide. Hope it stays for a long time.

What do i say about this clever one.. it has been well executed. after reading the hint and logs i then started to get an idea of what i might be looking for and sure enough there it was... this definetly deserves a fav. point. thank you for this cache and another smiley face.
Had lunch here to make it look like we had a plausible reason to be here and waited for the kids to leave. We got it but then had to resort to other tactics to replace the cache. Safe and sound now though! Tftc! Very cool container
Came back again today with Renee. Log there, signed, had lunch and had to wait a bit to replace. Great hide thanks.
We are slowly picking off south Taranaki caches that we have not yet found, and today we took advantage of a birthday visit to do a spot of opp-shopping and geocaching. While there were few treasures to be found in the shops we visited, we did well with the caches we looked for and got ourselves seven smileys.
This is a nice little park. There was nobody around when we got there, and we soon had the cache spotted although it took a few seconds while holding it before instinct took over and I worked out how to open it. A very nicely built container indeed. Thanks for the cache.

Found the cache today but no log in it. Did not have anything to replace it with. Cache still intact.
Now that I have the caching bug back...decided I should start to tackle some of the new ones that have popped up close to home...drive past this one when I come to town so when I saw no one in the playground stopped...quickly spotted what I wanted...and I don't think the bowling groundsman saw what I was doing...nice camo. Tftc
B,'gosh that's clever. Found later in the day and rewarded with a great view of Mount Taranaki.

Aha. A very well-executed hide. We parked and looked across to this one earlier in the evening but it was obvious that we couldn't search for this unnoticed. Returned much later and the cache was soon tracked down. Thanks for the hide .
Was down in Wellington for a few days, and decided that I'd make an extra long weekend of it and transfer a rental car back to Auckland and cache along the way. Unfortunately for the rental agency that ment nearly tripling the km's they thought I'd put on it!
With the rental car company only giving me 48 hours to get the car to Auckland a little bit of planing was needed to maximise what I wanted to accomplish, and with only a few DNF's it turned out to be a very successful trip. So a big thanks to everyone who had placed caches along the way, and for showing me some great sight's along the way.
Day 2: Wanganui to Hawera and home via the Forgotten Highway.
A great hide here, didn't take long to spot what shouldn't be. Fav point for the container.

We kept driving straight past this one as there were muggle children playing near by, so stopped by again on our way home & the coast was clear.
We spotted the hide as we approached so it was a quick grab &then we walked to the near by table to sign the log, but as we neared the table some muggle children arrived for a play. It took a lot of careful stealth to make the return, with Mrs Rattll drawing their attention away while Mr Rattll returned the cache.
Thanks for setting this nicely constructed cache here thatsneat.

Wandered into the park early this a.m. so nobody was around. Checked one spot before refocussing on another. Nice camo. TFTC
What a brilliant hide:) deserving of a favorite point. Initially I was investigating something else that was sticking out and when that didn't budge I looked wider and bingo thay definitely doesn't need to be there:) and now I understand why you wouldn't show me a picture of it when we did our mission to wangavegas. Tftc
No 8. Waitangi public holidays. Very clever. Very nice little park. Got some ideas for shade from bowling Green next door. SL TFTC
This cache was one of the many caches we found on our 6 day campervan journey from Tauranga to Lower Hutt via Waihi, Cambridge, New Plymouth and along the west coast to Wanganui and back to the Hutt. A mighty and enjoyable journey which took us to many great and iconic parts of the north island and of course some great geocaches. Many thanks to the many CO's for the great cache placements and for bringing us to so many new places. Handled this cache many times before "solving it" great job. Sorry about the generic log but 200 plus to log. TFTC
Came down to do the earth cache with TaraTed so it was good to find more to do TFTC great hide
Early morning so no muggles nearby. After a short search and then a calm look around soon spotted it. Nicely placed. tftc
Out for a wee drive while working in Hawera, this one is new so lets have a look. Got to GZ that looks like the cache, nope looks normal to me, carried on looking then realised a car had pulled up and they were looking at me. Quick fake a cell call, bugger they are walking towards me, but hang on they are also looking at a screen. OK fellow cachers. After a quick intro back to the hunt, no I checked that, but he said hang on whats this, and thrre it was, very well made cache, gets a fav for the engineeting. Mission accomplished, this one is a wrap.TFTC! Blenheim Bear

As we drove up we noticed someone around GZ. Thought it was the fence repairer still there from previous log but then noticed he was on phone and suspected he might be a fellow cacher. Very pleased to meet you Blenheim Bear. He had already searched the area but I decided to reinvestigate one area again. Yes with help from Mr CD there it was. We all signed the log and returned exactly as found. A definite favourite point from us. TFTC

Really clever. Took awhile, went backwards and forwards and eventually had a much closer inspection. Very cool.
Very clever cache and worthy of our 1200th find. Coordinates are out by about 20 metres, had us wanting to enter the bowling green but the description was quite clear. Gets a favourite, thanks
