Great camo that was an easy find but a harder retrieval. Eventually got the log out and signed.TFTCNice wee favourite point too
I was spending a couple of days in Waihi and this morning I headed out to Whangamata for a few hours of caching. I ended up parking at one end of this trail and walked towards town and back again to find the caches along here. Made a quick find of the nicely hidden cache here. TFTC!
Found with goldielover today. The rain is about to hit us. Just hold off another 10 minutes please
All good here with your cache

Day 3 of our holiday and in between Beach Hop activities I am out on some caching adventures with trayc.g TFTC
Nicely camoed! Found after parking up at the golf course. TFTC and on to the next one.
Another cool find here, very busy at the golf course club rooms nearby, but it is Friday, TFTC
This was very nicely camo'd. So much so that I missed spotting it on the first check, but returned to it, thinking that had to be it, and it was!
Thanks for putting this here

Making our way along the trail, we stopped to find this highly favorited cache. As we have found a number of this CO’s hides, it didn’t take long to find the very well camouflaged cache. We needed to use a natural TOTT to extract the log as we had left the tweezers in the car.
Kimbathelion picked this one up, not realising it was the cache straight away. A great camo. TFTC
Had a dnf in 2017 so time to rectify that. Picked up the cache & didn't see anything obvious so put it back. Had a look around & went back to the original object & on closer inspection realised it was the cache. Can see why i didn't find it back in 2017. Clever & worth a fav point. Tftc
Heading to Whitianga for a few days. Got dropped off at the start of this trail and cycled into town along the path. Really appreciated the thought and effort put into these caches. Just the right amount challenge required to find them and all the cache/logs were fine. Thanks for the smiley. Great camouflage.
On our way out we decided to grab a couple along here. A case of just one more why not. When I was signing the log a golf cart came flying along and suddenly stop by us. Old guy says sorry just a crazy old man behind the wheel then zips off down the track. Lol. Another great hide. Tftc.
Thanks for your amazing cache. I really appreciate the time you took to set up and maintain your caches.
Another great hide. Earning a favorite
Cheers, Cympull.

Excellent camo here but I'm use to the CO's clever hides so I had no trouble finding it
Very cool camo. Fortunately, I had the right tool for extracting the log.
Having a wee weekend away at a friends beach house. Time to pick up some more caches around Whaanga.

The kids and I have come camping at Wentworth valley for the weekend. We have done a bit of hiking, fishing, swimming and geocaching it’s been a great weekend thanks for all the hides some really good camouflage on most of the caches.
9.50am. Had two DNF previously at this spot. An easy find today in it's new spot. And I see why I never found it before. Have to awarfd a favourite point this time.
Thank you. David.
Thank you. David.
Third time lucky on this one and I can see why - the camouflage is excellent! TFTC & FP.
Started off looking in the wrong place before having a rethink and reading some logs. Happy new year! Tftc
A morning cycle ride with morning cache hunting. Hold it before and didn't realise. TFTC
This was tricky, couldn't find it while riding out of town. Thought about it as I returned and tried a different approach. Relieved to find it. Another G-2 beauty, thanks!
Got it on my second try. Very tricky hide and clue, and I stood on an ants nest!.
Our trip to the beach today involved a detour to Whangamata to gather a few caches and ride our bikes. After loading the bikes back on and relocating up here to the start or finish of this trail. We set off again. Good hide here, took a moment to locate lol. SL. TFTC.
You almost caught us out with this one, but we found it in the end, thankyou for this trail of caches we are having a blast
Found as a part of a previous group TanjackMüley, aka WanderingSparrow. Now I'm continuing on my own. TFTC
Didn't take us long. With the knowledge of G-2's caches we looked for a minute then said maybe it's hidden in this way. Sure enough it was and was found fairly fast. This detail is why I believe there's not many other cache creators that would do this much on so many caches. Worth a FP in our eyes. As always, Thanks G!
Out for another caching mission with Cats&Dragons today, with the goal to focus on caches along the Eastern side of the Coromandel Peninsula, starting in Whitianga and working our way down to Whangamata. A early start from Hamilton saw us pulling up to the first cache just after 5am, with the last cache for the day found a little before 3pm.
We got lucky with the weather with only a few showers throughout the day, and I successfully found 46 caches throughout the day, with only 3 DNF's. A very enjoyable day in a truly spectacular place. A big thanks to all the CO's who placed the caches we found.
Glad to turn this blue face into a smiley face. Took a few minutes to find this one. I was fairly certain what this hide would entail and once I found it I was sure I had this in my hand last time I was here. Very well hidden!!

Early morning Caching Mission to see what was up the Coromandal Peninsula, and working our way back from Whitianga down to Whangamata. This way we would leave enough caches to make the cache run worth it, hitting it from the south which would make it an easier day next time.Today I was in the company of HKCB, (logs were generally signed HKCD) and we soon set in putting the world to rights, discussed may sports and enjoyed good music, caches along with fantastic sunshine.Managed a total of 63 caches and only 3DNF's so all in all a pretty good outcome. We set out from home, departing at 3am with a long drive, and big day ahead of us. The good thing at this time is that there are very few other cars to worry about on the winding roads. We eventually made it back home by 4.30pm.
Last few as we headed out of town, fantastic cammo
A big thank you to all the cache owners for their diligence in maintaining these caches for the likes of us to enjoy.

Not afraid to say it, but had to get help on this one! G-2 put his/her cape on and came to the rescue!
I also have to admit than in my excitement I was mistakenly looking 6 metres from the plastic cave rather than the described 60cm... I.. Um... Well... No excuses on that one really.
Anyways, after being "red" in the face and having a healthy dose of help from the "drill" sergeant I eventually found it. "rock" on!

This took a while but we got there in the end, largely thanks to knowledge we have gained from other G-2 hides.
Absolutely brilliant camo, well deserving of a favourite point

Having found 793 of G-2's hides, I kinda knew what to look for. There were a lot of choices, but eventually I got the right one. TFTC.
Ach. Almost gave up. Had it in my hands .... Reading previous logs does the job. This is not Sistema this is G2s hide! Awesome. TFTC
This one took us a while, we read some of the comments and it looked out of place. Cool find
Up from H.B. for a couple of days visiting friends. Parked the car at the golf course then walked along track to cache. Looked in a few places with no luck until I re-read the hint. Nice hide, signed the log in between muggles passing by. Cheers.
On another Coromandel caching mission with Philip.Perry.
As we headed into Whangamata, I still needed this cache so we pulled in to the Golf club carpark and followed my GPS arrow pointer. Noticing something out of place I had a brief look at it and immediately came back to it for a second look.
Wow, that was clever camo, which I would score it at least a 3.5 difficulty and looking at the number of DNF's, I'm sure many others would agree.
Thanks

. Good to mark this one off- couldn’t find on first look then read logs and went back for another look. Looked in one spot and then rechecked. Very sneaky and well camoed TFTC
Had a look around, found a likely spot - empty - but on reading a few more logs now that we are home, it seems that we were too persuaded by the last couple of DNF logs and maybe we didn't look hard enough. Ah well. Always leave an excuse to go back again eh!
Another DNF after a long search. Found where we reckon it should have been but the space was empty.
Very nice camo indeed. I was surprised how quickly I found it. I initially picked it up but put it back down again. But after about a minute I thought hey that looked a little bit different to the others. Sure enough found. TFTC
After reading previous logs knew it would be difficult. I know I had looked there. Ian spotted in the end. Greetings from England. Favourite from us.
Couldn't find, am thinking the amount of water we have had lately may have affected this one
Heading over to Whangamata for the day to visit some friends with the family, and managed to get away for a few hours to find a few geocaches in the area. Had a good search for 10mins or so. No luck today, will be back another day.
Making our very first trip ever to Whangamata this weekend. Our primary purpose being to find as many G--2 caches as we can, as we are trying to qualify for a Nelson Challenge cache, to complete 1000 caches by one cache owner.
After finding the first couple of "On the Way to Whanga" caches we parked up at the golf course to do the rest of the caches along here. For this cache it was time to head in the opposite direction, very hot with no shade. We did not expect a problem at #5, but a search of the area, particularly the 2 most likely spots, did not turn up the cache. Returned to the camper to read a few of the logs, and immediately realised exactly where (and what) the cache was. Yes, we had checked this, but not well enough. Nicely done, nearly had us fooled.

We spent a bit of time here puzzling over it, then I caught on once I had read some previous logs. Great spot and sneaky camo. TFTC, earns a favourite from me
I was worried as I approached GZ that this one would take a long time to find knowing how good G-2's camo can be, however the description, hint and fantastic coordinates lead me straight to it and I found the container checking the second object I searched. Really well hidden. Great craftsmanship too.

#5 Had to allow a couple on their cycles to pass by before attempting to locate this cache. TFTC

Parked at the golf club and found this one quickly and in good condition. The hint was super helpful here but ultimately the hide was fairly obvious in spite of some awesome camo. Cheers G-2 TFTC
Clever Mr S had it in his hand first but like previous cachers, didn't realise. No2 down.
Thanks G--2. Was that you in a silver Corolla who gave us a wave? Who ever it was, knew what a geocacher looked like.

Mr P was moving the car as I trotted along the path. Nice cache hide but someone had jammed the log too tight into the container. That scribble is my mark. T4tc
Even after I picked up the cache, I had to check and make sure I had the right item. Thanks.
Decided that instead of moving the vehicles (withthe postential of not finding another parking spot) that we would walk from here to the others.
Marion also got thir geodog out of the camper for the walk.
The boys spent ages scrambling around trying to find the cache ( I was trying to avoid too much clambering on the rocks with ankle not being 100%).
There was talk of 'why would Glyn put a cache here, it'l get wet. We were realy getting perplexed as to where the first part of hint was - we were certain all had been found and searched.
The boys were back up on the path, wondering what they were missing, when a thought came into my mind, and pronto cache found. Releif all round.
Log signed and a hurried replacement, as we could see Vamber approaching - didn't want to deprive them of the hunt. TFTC

after a promising start with #6, hit a big snag on this one!! searched for 20 mins before giving up. went to do the rest of the trail and then returned for another 30 minute hunt before FINALLY finding it. really didnt think there was anywhere left look, but then there it was hiding in plain sight great hide
We really enjoyed this small series, went mental on the rock one, in the hot sun, but got there in the end lol

Tftc! This one had us hunting for quite a while. Figured the hint was very specific, so we persisted, and then yodabeach turned up the goods...although im sure both of us had looked in that exact spot several times prior. Very clever hide.Well done!
And here is where our good run ended. We did make the find but it took a lot of hunting. We had a close scan of GZ (the hint narrows down the search area a fair bit) but didn't come up with anything. Even the second inspection of GZ wasn't successful. The THIRD time I checked that same spot, finally got it!! Very awesome, a favourite. TFTC
