Quick find here. Love the size. Found on our road trip in Tasmania from WA. With Caperdoodle 2.
Technology all over the place so looked in every likely and unlikely places with no joy
Even though we found a few hidey holes where we thought it might be, we were unsuccessful this time!
Unless we were looking in the completely wrong spot, we didnt seem to find it, even asked the lady inside for help but she had no idea what we were talking about
Visited here in miserable weather with family. The gaol was interesting, especially the man trap! TFTC
Nice quick find, sad to hear that Dave has retired though! Log book is a bit damp too. TFTC
A nice quick find on the way back from a tour of Port Arthur and The Tasman coast. Thankyou for placing the cache
Today we headed to Richmond for a gander. We think we came here back in 2009 but have hazy memories . We enjoyed a thorough walk around today, it was freezing cold and skies were grey. We may need to come back again before we leave Tassie.Had a fab coffee and cake at the bakery and enjoyed a pack lunch. Left camp at 9am and back home at 5.30pm so it was certainly a full day. Thank you to all the kindly CO for placing and maintaining caches for us to enjoy. We didnt visit the gaol but what a great spot for a cache. TFTC
We had some free time during a short tour of Richmond, so I had the opportunity to collect finds on several nearby caches.
Today is the fourth day of this trip; my first ever to Tasmania. I'm down here to attend a two-day business intensive and it has been full on. A whole lot of thinking about business strategy and filling whiteboards with plans and promises. But today it's all over, and MissSpondonicle and I now have a hire car and a lunch catch-up to make. But first, we want to try some cheese! On the way to cheese we genuinely, accidentally made a wrong turn and we wound up in Richmond. A slight panic to sort out a U-turn and the idea was mooted to look for a local geocache while here. I'm happy with that as it ticks another area off on my map!And after a quick consultation, this was close and looked interesting and easy enough to not suck half the day. We parked up and made our way to the front door. May as well see what the going rate is. We ultimately decided not to today, and instead focus switched to the geocache.Getting near the co-ordinates, it was a super quick and easy find. I assume the gaoler/establishment knows of its presence because it is not really hidden. All in good condition though, so the logbook was signed and all replaced at 10:00. Now, off for that cheese! Thanks for this geocache, mle123456
We enjoyed looking for your cache. When we cache we try to clean as we go, CITO. There are wonders all around us we might miss if we did not Geocache! Signed with GrammiesGeoFun & GROBERT, or GGF & F5G depending on the size of log. GROBERT has answered any necessary questions for the cache.
Coming in from Fort Wayne, Indiana, United States as part of team GGF & F5G, GrammiesGeoFun and Free52Grobert (Grobert for short). Often on a grandkid mission. Signed with GrammiesGeoFun & GROBERT, or GGF & F5G depending on the size of log. We recently moved closer to those grand kids, which means a new area and, new geocaches; a win-win situation.Currently our focus is on Web Cams, Multi-Caches, Letter Box Caches, and Wherigos. We also enjoy Earth Caches, Cemetery/Grave Yard caches (usually less chance of muggles), mystery/puzzle caches, and a chance at finding a recent hide. Always looking for a Fizzy or JASMER grid spot, and now we officially have made our 7th hide! Recently completed the J geo-art near Janesville Wisconsin (GC92Z0A). A creative group of different puzzle caches, which are hidden in a unique combination of cache containers. Worth the effort if one is in the area.New house results in new birds at the bird feeders and we are adding those to our birds sighted list. We report them on the Merlin Bird ID application supported by the Ornithology Laboratory at Cornell University. We have a new pond mate on our new pond, a Great Blue Heron, who we call Bluey, after the kids show based in Australia. The Cornell app works on iPhone and Android platforms and helps identify birds on the go! Great tool for use, while Geocaching, especially when you see a bird you dont recognize. We enjoy the camaraderie with other catcher's and the thought and creativity that goes into making these geocache hides. Thank you for giving the rest of us a challenge. We always practice Cache In Trash Out, (CITO).Even got our tour guide in on the action.
We are on a 2 week holiday, today was a visit to Richmond, nice quick find, now to check out the goal, well worth the visit, thanks for bringing us here and a fav point.

Tasmania Trip Day 9. My second day caching out of Hobart was more counties to the south and East of Hobart. It was a cold drizzly day that got even worse as I went south. The highlight was the cave south of Port Arthur. I slowly worked my way back through the other counties and managed to see quite a few great small town along the way. I arrived back into town quite late in the afternoon and only did one more LAB set around town before finding somewhere to have dinner. I went back to the motel and did some logging and preparing for tomorrow. With the outdoor speaker spruiking a visit to the goal, I went around to where the cache was and was happy to find it fairly quickly and without any problems. Thanks for the cache mle12345646030.30 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & Townsville Sun A#484**Albida**

We were docked in Hobart Tasmania Australia for the day on our ship - Holland America's Volendam. We had a shore excursion to Richmond and then free time in the city. So, we planned to do Labs and caches in both places. We found 3 caches in Richmond and 3 in Hobart. We also made 29 Lab Stops across many Labs in both places.Thank you to the Lab creators and COs for their efforts.#####################This Cache: Quick find by Salts

Im having a couple of weeks off and Im spending the first few days down in the South of Tassie to find 8 different types, 25 of one type and also any LGAs that I come across to help fulfil a few of the challenges that Im working on.Im also trying to keep my small streak going so I can hopefully beat my last streak total of 67 days.I was heading to Sorell for an event but I called in here first to pick up a type and type number.I remember going through the jail last time I was here and it was a great experience. The cache was soon located and I added my name to the log and then I was on my way. Thanks mle123456 TFTC.
It's an easy find, even for a touring cyclist from Brisbane. Thanks for your first cache.
Having a lovely time in Richmond. What a great place. A quick find and a nice hide
Thanks for the hide! Didnt make it into the gaol since it was closed but good to see the old walls.
We spent some time exploring Richmond, and of course the gaol. When returning to the car, this was nicely placed for a quick find!
