Suscoe has placed a new container this afternoon at GZ for this cache. It is ready to be found again!!
Suscoe was out on a maintenance trip this morning. We checked this cache and is in need of replacing. We have removed it and will work on a replacement in the coming few days.
Don't know why we didn't find this cache last time we tried.Good to get this DNF off my map.Glad we got back to this area to clean up this series.Only had 5 more A B 4 C to find before the start of this weekend. We got out early, to beat the heat of the day.All were found safe and dry.Out caching with D@geoThank you for the cache suscoe
Found with gwd.aussie on a Geelong geocaching getaway. Have been working on finding this series over a couple of visits. Glad to avenge a DNF from last visit. Dont know how we missed it.Thanks suscoe
This book series has been a real trip down memory lane, remembering all the books that I read us a child. I loved working on the puzzles and all the work that has gone into each of the caches. Hairy Maclary (from Donaldsons dairy) was definitely one of my favourites that I used to read to my children all the time
Weather slightly cooler today so a stroll up the hill from the residence was called for. There are 4 more solved caches to grab here. Favourites all of this well crafted series 3rd on my list, nice hide I just spotted a teeny bit of the cache. Re-covered and moving on to the last. Fave-ing cos the grandkids loved this book!
This is absolutely my favourite of the series so far. Not only do I continue to love Hairy McClary and all of his fabulous alliteration hes a joy to read out loud to the children but the hide itself has taken me to yet another undiscovered corner of southern Geelong. This hidden valley is a sight to see, and I love it when part of the fun is asking the question: how do I get there?
We have all these books and love Lynley Dodd's quirky animal characters. I can still recite many of the lines, particularly Hairy Maclary. What a great series of puzzles and caches. Testament to the class of this series, and respect given by cachers (who can be very lazy!) as every single bag was closed and every single container was sealed up tight and replaced as it should be.Thank you so much suscoe, for those little nudges along my early puzzle solving journey - your gentle encouragement was greatly appreciated and gave me confidence to look at other puzzles.regardskbucky
Hairy Maclary was definitely a book that I read over and over again to the DuckNomNom kids to the point I could probably recite most of it (I did have to refer to our copy for the colours of the doors though). Was relatively busy around the GZ with grass cutting and construction nearby, but I was hopefully able to make the relatively quick find without drawing too much attention to myself. There was a bit of water inside the cache and the log was slightly damp. However, everything was still in good condition. Thanks for another AB4C cache, suscoe!
Hairy McClary was one of the books I used to read to my kids when they were little. They enjoyed the rhyming rhythms of the story. We no longer had a copy in the house as our youngest are in high school now. Luckily I located an online source. After an unsuccessful attempt at locating the cache atop the hill I decided to head down and find this one. No trouble here at all. A fave for the memories. Thank you suscoe for placing and maintaining A B 4 C - 7 Hairy Maclary From Donaldson's Dairy. for us to find today.
Thank you to the CO for putting this geoart together. I had fun solving the puzzles, enjoyed chatting with the CO when problems were encountered and enjoyed opening the cache each time. The logbook containers are cute. Back towards Brisbane for us tomorrow. Thanks for showing us around a piece of Geelong.Bit of a mission to work out how to get here but co was very helpful.
Thanks to Larafolk for alerting us to a soggy AB4C Hairy Maclary cache.
We have replaced everything including a new container and the cache is dry and ready to be found again.

Out today getting Signal home and trying to get a good amount of this series finally found. Also, trying to clock up some numbers so I can hit 2K found at the Mega.
Love this doggo book, he's so funny.
Cache blends I'm very well, even though it's not camoed. Everything is very damp in the log, could sign the log. Made sure I sealed the lid well, hopefully it dries out and doesn't start getting mouldy. Tftc.

Suscoe dropped by here today and this cache is in good condition and it is waiting to be found again.
I re-solved before leaving home, a couple of days ago.
Once at GZ we searched for a while with out any luck.
The nearest tree to it, had split and fallen over.
While on site, I used the checker to confirm the cache location coords.
I guess it is under the tree or missing.
OR just a very good camo.
Out caching with D@Geo
Thank you for the hide suscoe

Sadly a DNF today
A long weekend caching with gwd.aussie staying in Geelong but spending yesterday in Ballarat. This morning taking the opportunity to grab a few more of this series before we have to start heading homeward bound. With a couple we have yet to resolve and one DNF sadly the series will remain for the time unfinished.
It is possible it is still there but we need to start heading home.
Thanks suscoe

Last of this afternoon's bunch before heading on back. This was another one where I nearly needed my water wings to get to GZ but once there, I had the stash in hand at 14:40 after a short search.
TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks suscoe.

Bingo. With the rumour of a future archive happing we had a flurry of activity and focused on that series, Cautionary Tales and those all time favourite kids books - some of which I read endlessly to #1 and seemed to know well! So today out and about on a Geelong multi mission with the two wise maidens - Cybergran and Surefoot24 and had a great day playing eye spy in the name of this great game. This cache was signed as REV for Ronice68, Surefoot24 and Cybergran V, our super team for today and an ironically beaut name as we ‘revved’ around to each location. TFTC AND THE FUN suscoe- we appreciate the effort going into creating these even if occasionally somewhat evil!
Slowly working our way through this series over the last few months and only have a few more to go now before we get them all.
These cache’s have provided a great opportunity to read these books again as a family, some of them again, with a purpose of finding the answers for the treasure at the end.
A fun one with LOTS of grasshoppers jumping whilst we walked through the grass! I bring my dog here sometimes, and hve even seen owls in the winter months.
Good memories of this area when you used to be able to drive up the hill, amazing views!
A massive thankyou to the CO’s for the fun we have had along the way. The cache constructions has been fun,

I found this cache today on our Geelong Wander 2021 in company of Pprass. Pprass made the find on this one. One of my daughters favourite books when she was young and it still is. Thanks from D B-A
Found at 2:55 PM GAFF5 in the company of Rabbitto.
I read this book to our grandchildren a couple of years ago and found it to be the weirdest story that didn't make a great deal of sense. The kids loved it though!
Walked across the oval and then had to jump the fence - it was pretty windy and surprisingly cool out there today.
Thanks suscoe.

buhfuhguh and SteMicMitSar very kindly offered to take me around Geelong today with a Community Celebration Event in Ceres being the outing's main attraction.
Despite the event starting at 6pm, I had to wake up at 6am in order for us to fit in all of the adventures that this region had to provide!
An excellent time was had at each and every stop, and meeting other cachers throughout the day as people slowly trickled into the area was a really fun experience too.
The AB4C series had been a set of unsolved icons on my map simmering away in the back of my mind, awaiting a day that I could find myself with enough time to delve back into the younger years of my childhood.
This fabled "enough time" happened to appear last night at The Last Possible Moment that I could solve this series before we headed here!
Most of the puzzles were tackled without much hassle at all and there were enough solved on the map to tempt us down this way (with the nearby-ish FTF sort of reaffirming that decision!)
They were all really enjoyable to find, consistently great sizes and in good condition with some awesome log *book* designs!
buhfuhguh did the solving on this one, but it was nice to be reminded that Hairy Maclary is still out there!
A little bit of a walk over to gz, but we headed in and I managed to spot the cache very sneakily tucked away.
On the way out, I also noticed a golf ball in a tree - how bizarre.
Thanks to suscoe for including this book as part of the fun puzzles and hides in this series!

Out and about in Geelong today collecting some caches before the celebration event being held later tonight. With Stemicmitsar and Brainiac03 we powered through collecting solved puzzles and other caches of interest through the day. Had another great day out chipping away at the Geelong area and can't wait to be brought back down this way shortly. Thanks for the cache and the great day out.

I've had the coordinates to this cache for a while and today was the day to tackle a few of them. The lil one was having her daily nap, the wife is feeling abit under the weather from getting her second covid jab so it left the little man and I.
We did a quick drive thru for a chocolate thick shake each and we were soon on our way to GZ.
This series is a favourite of mine because I loved working out the coordinates with my kids. Thanks for creating some quality bonding time
This cache took us a long time to find. My son and I were getting smashed by the mozzies but we refused to leave until we had the cache in our hands.
Log was signed and placed back where we found out.

A very nice hiding spot in a place I didn’t know existed. Thanks for bringing me here, the series & the cache.

No luck with this one today

Suscoe removed this cache due to some building issues near the first GZ.
We have spruced the cache container up and found delightful new hiding spot for it.
Please note that the puzzle questions remain the same as do the answers. The values assigned to the correct answers will be different in many instances.
If you worked out this puzzle prior to 18 May 2021 you will need to update the values and calculations.
Thanks

Suscoe is disabling this cache due to the rapid march of suburbia around what used to be quiet country roads not so long ago.

Second time lucky with roadworks at the entry, but we had to come back as the Hairy Maclary books are such favourites with the grandkids. We even tried to get Rebel Acts to name his new puppy Schnitzel Von Krumm. We'll leave you to guess the breed of his puppy!
At this time of year we usually pack up and head off for 6 months, chasing the armer weather. After being stuck at home all last year and not enjoying the cold and wet weather all that much we are looking forward to getting away this year even more.
For a change we thought we might roll the dice and try spending some time in Victoria as we have not travelled here to much and know there is plenty to see. A short trip to Geelong previously led us to decide to return and spend more time. Hope the weather is kind!
We mentioned this to our good mate Rebel Acts and he decided he would join us for a few days. A great bonus, because as a true professional he has an unbelievable searching sense and is a puzzle solver extraordinaire. Our puzzle solving ability is slowly improving, but we still need to call on him regularly for assistance.
This is a series we almost managed to solve completely on our own, and only needed tp send out the SOS to Rebel for a couple that completely baffled us. Between our own library, the local library and on line sources we managed to find a copy of all of the books except one. Unfortunately we found out the hard way that the online version is not always the same as the hard copy, but that's where having friends helps! It was nice to have something to keep us interested during last years lockdown, and as books is Mrs Ski's number one hobby she really enjoyed the challenge. The containers are fantastic, and all very clean inside despite their outside appearances. Thank you Suscoe for your work with the puzzles and the effort put into the great containers
We even managed to catch up with Suscoe and Bushfire, local cachers of renown and lovely people.

As we turned into this road, a lady was walking in front of us on her own, so we stopped by the side of the road to wait until she had well and truly passed GZ. She kept checking on us, turned down a side track, so we moved slowly forwards, and then she turned around to come back to this road, not knowing we were still lurking there. I realised we had frightened her, so we drove up to GZ and after apologising, explained Geocaching to her. The relief on her face made us feel guilty and I completely understood her concerns, so we took her to the cache, showed her the container and logbook, which she was extremely impressed with, and she left a happy lady. We may have another geocacher in the making.
Thanks suscoe for a great puzzle and another book I thoroughly enjoyed researching.

Camping in the area after a weekend away with the family and set off to collect some challenges and solved puzzles in the area.
I remember reading this book for my niece but had to refer to the YouTube version to complete the answers. Can’t get the funny voices from the clip out of my head . Cache was found and the log signed.

We were in Geelong to do some work and hadn't been out its neck of the woods for a while, so we decided to pick up a few of the solved puzzles in the area. We love kids books, so we dug the books we had out of our collection and solved the puzzles we had in our collection. A trip to the library will be needed to complete the rest of the puzzles; we love the library. We have two little black geodogs that are as mischievous as Hairy Maclary, so this book holds a special place in our hearts. (we even have the rarely found Zombie Macrombie and the overturned Kombie in our collection). The caches in this series are beautiful. This cache is in excellent condition.
We love this series; it is brilliant—thank you for this cache, suscoe.

Another in this great series. The workmanship is a credit to you. Thanks for giving us so much fun.
Easy to find this morning. Had to wait for a lovely muggle who stopped to ask if I was okay, as I was waiting in the car for him to walk past. It’s good to know that there are still nice people out there. TFTC
Suscoe did a maintenance check on our AB4C series this afternoon.
This cache is still in place and ready to be found.

Last night we were at a friends house and Geocaching came up. While explaining, I showed the map of the nearby area and they asked what the those blue question marks were. Next thing you know, we’ve got Hairy Maclary out to figure out the coordinates. 5 mins later we were good to go and off we went.
Great little hide, which we all really enjoyed. Probably picked up 2 new families of Geocachers as well.
TFTC Fave point from me.

I came down to Geelong today to find a few caches but the main reason was to find this series that I spent the last week or so working on.
My kids had a lot of these books but after a clean up they all went to the op shop
Some info was found online and the local library was used to find some others.
Most of the info was straight forward and a slight nudge was needed about what to do with some of it to get a good set of numbers.
The cache contents were great and well thought out.
I cannot come to tell you how many times this book was read to my kids as it was one of their favourite books at that time.
Road was a tad bumpy to drive along as well.
Thanks suscoe TFTC.

#3836 The road to gz could use a grade, those corrugations were a bit 'hairy' in places! All quiet near gz given it was a Sunday and a nice quick find was achieved. TFTC and puzzle suscoe.
Once we planned our trip for a week away the hunt for caches began...
We saw this series and knew it would be a great one, in a house of literary lovers there were only a couple we did not own.
Alas the geokids were already in bed and we could not start the solving without them.
We did need a few books from the library so the next day we picked them up and the solving began that night.
This book is most definitely a favourite and we own many copies, and it can be recited fast and slow. We did consult the book which was great making us slow down and enjoy to story.
We had a wonderful time re-reading or just retrieving from memory the many stories from both the adults and the geokids childhood stories and what better way for geokids to be involved in easy puzzling (something they both love) and also great finds for kids with many treasured swaps made along the journey.

This one was a favourite story back in the day.
I started this series some time ago but had only solved so many of them at the time I started finding them, now I have solved a few more and seeing that I was over this way for the Geelong Christmas events day, it was a good time to find a few more.
I had done a loop around and found the challenge caches that I was after but I was passing a couple more of these on the way to the first event so I was able to stop and make a quick find then continue on my way.
**Thanks to suscoe for placing this cache.**

The Hairy Maclary series is an absolute favourite! We have Siamese cats just like Pimpernal Pugh and our Grandma has a little dog just like Hairy Maclary. We have the whole collection. Happy to get a smiley with this one, thanks!
This was the last one today if for no other reason than the road was blocked off. I have liked the little items made for all the logbooks.
After a last minute decision to have a few days holiday on the Bellarine Peninsula, we tried to solve as many puzzles as possible in the area before we left. Many of the books we still had from when the children were younger, others from the grandchildren.
The day was quite warm and dusty and fortunately most of the roads were quiet.
The short hunts were rewarded with well decorated logbooks and logbook holders. A lot of work has gone into presenting these caches and puzzles. Thanks suscoe for the series.

No idea of the co-ord's I calculated last time.
This one seemed just as likely even though it was a little further away.
Lucky for me I was correct this time around.
Work going on not far away was hidden by a natural environment.

This log is to tidy up a mess I made with GSAK . I forgot to apply the template so my finds were published with a nonsensical log.
Rather than try and edit all the logs I post this not with what the log should have been.
My apologies for the confusion caused.
A few days away with Freddo, e.gregory1 and The White Dog Gang.
Fun was had by all. Not too many dnfs
Most logs signed as FETT.

Found on a short, post-Christmas sojourn to Victoria with Freddo, Team Waldron and thewhitedoggang that involved plenty of driving, cycling, walking and even some boating and wading.
The weather was on our side (albeit a little warm at times), which made for some great caching. There were plenty of varied finds, with some excellent and often tricky hides and and just a few DNFs. We signed most logbooks ‘F.E.T.T.’
An interesting series - we still have quite a number of the books on which they are based at home. Unfortunately I didn’t have time to solve all the puzzles in the series in time for the trip, so they will have to wait for my next visit.
Thanks suscoe for the puzzle and the cache, particularly the effort put into the well-themed logbook holders.

Enjoying a days caching with Dippa46 toward the 100 for this months challenge; This series has proved to be mostly easy when I got the puzzle bit right and not so easy when I got it wrong, either way we had fun and a few surprises along the way. I really enjoyed reading the books and finding the information required. TFTC
With the run to get 100 caches for the month MazzyMay and I went out for a trip to see what we could find. Having had a go at these puzzles off we went, with only two not where we had them, oh well next time. TFTC.
Find No. 2315. Found with FUF009 at 3.35pm
Well what can we say when FUF009 said it all.
We done a day trip to Geelong, some three hours away, and FUF009 came with us.
Our aim for the day was to do the D2B series plus three other caches close by, then the Shepherd's Road series and Do You Believe In ... Series, to get a total of 75 caches for the day to help us get the Hidden Creatures Souvenirs.
Finishing these three trails earlier than expected we then went on the AB4C series, seeing how we had both worked on these puzzles together. We grabbed a few others along the way and at the end of our caching day in the Geelong area, we had clocked up 100 finds. WOW - This is a first for us and a day that we won't forget.
* We got our first cache at 8.59am and our last cache at 4.55pm.
* We had rain at the start that made the roads muddy and changed the colour of our car from red to brown.
* We stopped twice for eats and cuppas - Lunch at D2B 43 at St.Leonards, on the waters edge then again near AB4C #13 at the dead end road.
* An enjoyable caching day was had by all of us despite the weather, plus the day was made less time consuming with well maintained caches therefore no time was wasted on DNF's.

Find # 6837
Found with Tyred n Cranky
A day of caching to help out with accumulating enough smileys to try and get closer to the 100 needed for the Hidden Creatures souvenirs.
We started off on the D2B trail where Tyred n Cranky’s Magna changed from a nice red colour to a lovely shade of brown, the true colour for a geocacher's vehicle.
Thankfully the rain had blown away by the time we got down to St Leonards, just leaving the cold wind behind.
After a lunch stop down near D2B #43 we then headed off for the "Shepherd's Road Treasure" series and then to the "Do You Believe In ..." series.
again both the roads added to the colour of Tyred n Cranky’s Magna.
After completing these we realised we had plenty of time left in the day for more and then added to the plans and headed off over to the AB4C puzzle series near Waurn Ponds.
On the way around, for the day, there were a few of extra caches thrown in to the mix, as they were “close by” or on the way.
With a few caches, that took some minutes to locate or get into, But with persistence and patients we managed to make a find on all in the day.
All in all we ended up with a finds totalling just over 100. This is the first time that Tyred n Cranky have made the big 100 in 24 hours. A great fun and memorable day indeed.

Another book I’d never read before, and one of the earlier ones the library procured for me. The library has seen more of me since I started this series, than it has for ages.
The answers were quickly ascertained, and the sums for this mathematically challenged person, were surprisingly correct the first time.
It was Muggle Hubby’s turn to locate this one on uneven surface, whilst I took a photo of him through the branches, looking a little like Hairy Macleary.
Thanks for more good fun suscoe

The Epic AB4C Saga, pt 5.
We only found two titles, Imagine and Dear Zoo. Done and dusted, we walk back over to the Shopping Centre. Phones and tablets are ready - good, go pick them up. Sue's keen for a drink - also good. We're still wondering where we can find more books. I suggest K-Mart. Sure enough, we find Hairy Maclary, Where's Wally, and Very Hungry Caterpillar.

I found this cache where the coordinates led me along the road. It two of us quite a while to find the cache as the finding device led me to places beyond the fence. In and out I went trying to get a fix on the location. Eventually the GPS indicated a direction to go . I just headed that way and checked everything in the way until I found what I was looking for. It was deviously hidden, or maybe just failing light increased the difficulty for me. Anyway the cache was found. Thanks for the challenge.
Had a free Easter Monday morning so I planned a trip to Geelong and surrounds with liambaxter88 to pick up a bunch of solved puzzles towards the souvenirs on offer at the present time. The main target was this ABC4C series and I had spent a bit of time in the preceding weeks working on these puzzles. I really liked this book and we ended up getting lots of others in the series for our little one. Had to look up some of the details as my memory wasn’t that good but no problem to find what was needed. Heading north we were able to make a quick find at this one. My 37th find of 46 for the day. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache and this puzzle series suscoe.
This was an awesome series to take on as a puzzle challenge! Very enjoyable and a great day out with AnnoyingTarbit picking some of them up today. TFTC!
Stardate 01042018, our mission to visit all the planets in our system, in a planetary pursuit to explore the Geocaching universe.
We love the well designed puzzles, and the constructed logbooks, deliberatelly solved all these for the current souvenier challenge.
Logbook signed, and off we fly to our next destination warp speed.
thanks to suscoe for this cache. all in good order
TNLNSL sorry for cut and paste text, 60 caches to log

Judging by the refuse in the area this locale seems a popular venue for"nocturnal activities".

Oh Hairy Maclary! Possibly my favourite text for the fact it is centered around a dog and his friends! Who doesn't like a doggo and the tales of their doings but not their droppings! A lovely cache awaited our gaze and with the log signed we were on our way.
I'd not encountered this story before, but I enjoyed its dizzying cyclical structure. I imagine that kids, or at least some of them, could really get into that sort of thing. Thanks once again suscoe. Leafotwind and I found this attractively decorated cache in good condition and in good time.
Such an enjoyable day caching with Team Crackers and Squa (now Sharon14).
I remember many of the titles showcased in the A B 4 C series, but some of them were new to me. An excellent series Suscoe, thank you for the work you have put into crafting the puzzles, the physical containers and the placement of these quality caches.

Having had the answers to a few mysteries down this way a plan was hatched with squa and micaparamedic to try and complete the A B 4 C and Cautionary Tales series as well as a few other random caches.
We really enjoyed most of the puzzles although some has us confused for quite awhile before the penny dropped. We also enjoyed all the cache hides and appreciate the work that has gone into creating them.
Unfortunately doing the series like this with other teams you tend to have more fun laughing and joking trying to beat each other to the find rather than taking note of each individual cache which meant that we have ended up with a generic log which certainly doesn't do the effort of the CO any justice but as a small thank you for the fun we have had we will be leaving a well deserved favourite point on each cache.

Funny little story with straightforward co-ords. Another great logbook holder. Thanks for this cache
I had picked up a shift at the Epworth today and was finished by 1pm so decided to go caching. I waited out the rain and had lunch before hitting the trail. I also solved the 2 replacement ones in the car.
The others I had solved a long time ago but this is the 1st time I've had a chance to get to look for them.
Such great work on the cache containers. Tftc

Found with the Geokids on a pre bedtime run. TNLNSL - cache replaced just in time as muggle walkers came down the rd. Developers are moving in, landscape here will change significantly in the near future..
With the help of mini-cacher we had the great enjoyment of revisiting some of our much loved childrens books. (Mini cacher was hearing some of these books for the first time and others she enjoyed revisiting). We enjoyed solving these great A B 4 C puzzles and today finally had the time to check our results.
Had to hunt a bit for this one but got it eventually. I think my coords were a bit off .
Thank you so much suscoe for these awesome puzzles and caches. You have put in a tremendous amount of work and we thoroughly appreciate all your efforts. A fav from us.

Off I go to Melbourne! Down from Canberra for a caching trip around the Mega!
So the Mega had ended BUT more caching had to be done!
I've had this series solved and on the radar for ages so it was time to collect Had all of the puzzles solved prior to the trip-a good stroll down memory lane with most of them! The hides were mostly easy finds and I enjoyed the drive around the area Love the cleverly crafted custom log holders as well!
Apologies for the generic logs!

Our main log for the AB4C series is with Peter Rabbit.
Another favourite with the boys, and we can remember George Spartels reading it on Playschool as well. Our dog back then was a dachshund, so Schnitzel von Krumm was an absolute winner as well.

Another find love this book along with all of them. A little disappointed that the magic faraway tree one isnt there atm but will wait out for it.
We had a copy of this one at home - eldest geokid introduced me to this great NZ series. The next dog I own I think will be a sausage dog, and if so, I am going to name him Schnitzel von Krumm after the gorgeous dachshund in the text. Love him! We used to have a beautiful dalmatian, but his name was Lucky, not Bottomley Potts haha.
Such a wonderful series, suscoe! Thank-you for the work and creativity that went into the series, the puzzles, and the logbooks. Being an English teacher, I love anything that champions literacy, particularly for kids, so this brilliant series ticked all the boxes. Wish we could give a fave point for each cache, but The Last Page is indicative of each one. TFTCs

Day 2 of our caching around Torquay. Weather a bit threatening but we set off to complete most of the puzzles we had solved back at home in Tasmania. We hate generic logs but what more can be said. A fantastic series which Lady membsec loved as she is a retired Prep Teacher. Gathered the books from our own and other collections and from on-line interrogation. Having enjoyed the puzzles we were now delighted to find the brilliantly crafted log containers and carefully prepared log books. Thankfully we have a swag of favourite points available. Suscoe you deserve a medal!

After solving these many months back for today was finally the day to collect, gemmasistema and I made a day of it today and made the trip from Ballarat. We had an absolute ball . We enjoyed talking about our memories of each book as we made our way around. This was always a fun book to read

I could spend hours listening and reading these books to the kids (yes we have plenty of them). Good old Slinky Malinki and Scarface Claw - the rhyming in these is just awesome. Love love love them!
These puzzles were solved last year (I had the majority of them at home already) and today wozzle68 and I decided to head Geelong way to nab these ones. All were nice easy finds - loved the logbooks! So much effort and thought put into the brilliant series - thanks so much.

JMelb saw this series a little while ago and having a "Hooked on Books" series ourselves (much much smaller lol) we decided we would like to solve these puzzles and have a short getaway in Geelong. As usual we left things to the last minute and on Saturday decided we better get on to solving the puzzles! lol We visited the local libraries (yes that's plural) for some and the internet for others and at about 10.30pm Sat night we had a full set of co-ords after working through some nice puzzles with a few twists and turns!
So Sunday arvo we set of for Geelong, checked into the accomm and headed out here for the first lot of caches in the series - almost all were easy finds. We loved the logbooks in all the caches, a lot of work has gone into this series!
We had solved all the puzzles and plotted them on a map and counted the stars and only had 18!! Whoops we had somehow missed this one - quick print out and internet search and we had the 19th star on the map! Easy find

Blazing sun, 31 Centigrade predicted. WE saw 36C on the car temp indicator. Just as well, we were near the coast.
Adding to our collection of the Suscoe's AB4C Series. Seems to be taking forever, as our knowledge base is slowly, slowly expanded. Thanks to Suscoe's patience in assisting as our tired old grey matter burns out.
Occasionally, we will fluke one on our own but as they say "your never too old to learn"
Forgive the generic nature of the log. Rest assured your efforts set a high standard and are well appreciated.
Hairy Macleary located, log signed and sent back to the other critters. Thanks Suscoe's.

This series has been perfect for me as a new Dad - each week buying one of these books as a double bonus - to read to Aysen and to solve a puzzle! Although he has at least 20 books, I know them all now back the front and I seriously need something new. Just ordered 'In the Night Kitchen' by Maurice Sendak.
Hairy Maclary is a gem - not too long, not too short. We have the box set with some others in the series - featuring the neighborhood villan!
On a trip down the surfcoast on work duties I made a detour by here. A nice easy grab and a well constructed thoughtful container once again.
Well done Suscoe Team - a fave from me!
