#1049 - On a Geocache mission from Tauranga today. It was a very very foggy day in Rotorua.
But the fog starting to clear this afternoon, and what a view from here amazing! Thanks for bringing us here. Cache nice and easy to find TFTC.

This was another one of those caches that we had be meaning to get to each time we were in the area but never quite got there. Thankfully today was the day and finally we could put a few of them to rest. This was a nice quick find and indeed a Grand View. TFTC

Slowly working our way up to Auckland and had a night in Rotorua. Fortunate enough to get a space near the Polynesian Spa fir the night. This morning headed out on the bike and enjoyed some of the cycle paths around. Good to stretch the legs and pick up some caches on the way. Cache all fine here and enjoyed the grand view. Thanks for the smiley.

Easy find, wet log, added a new piece of paper within a little baggie to keep dry.

Was looking at my notebook and realsied I missed logging this cache. We were in Rotorua for a Scent Dog competition and a few caches. There was no log in this cache when found and all I had on me was my notebook so put in a page from that rather than return to the car and look even more conspicuous by coming here twice. Thanks for placing modmood.

Found! Nothing inside just a write up on lid.

Empty cache lying in the grass, totally mugged. Rehid but no log and no provisions to replenish on us. Regardless, what a beautiful spot for a small picnic! Tftc

A slight detour on the way back to the motel. I am on a North Island Figure of Eight your. For the first 4 days I spend time in the Bay of Plenty with my husband JDScout. We are basing ourselves in Rotorua during this time.

We were staying in Rotorua so we decided to pick up a cache or two and this was one of them, it was quite funny this one as we had bought fish and chips for tea and reading other logs it looked like it was going to be a good place to have them but alas no as not quite that much room but still a good place for a cache.

Found with Djanglomalango on a visit to near where I used to live. Very wet. Needs a good clean out. Great to see a large container for a change.

Beautiful view and an easy find. Took the TB for a trip while we are on holiday and send him on his way later in Sydney. Log is a little strip of paper which needs replacement.

First stop today, visiting from Hawke's Bay. Found in the rain, lovely views even in the wet. Tftc

The view was stunning from here as the sun was just going down. No problems with the find but we added waterproof paper as there was no log inside the cache which was a little damp inside

We found this in the early evening just as the sun was setting, so this was definitely a grand view out over the lake. We added a sheet of waterproof paper with our signatures, as there was no log inside the cache.

Looked for 30 mins and no luck ️

Needs waterproofing as the log is all wet - easy find though

Today we are in Rotorua. First to do is finding a cache. This one was found quick.

A find that did require stealth most muggles at his window

(# 4697). In Tauranga for a funeral and got this on my way back to Wellington. A quick find and clears one of a few outstanding dot days. Log is quite damp but I still managed to etch my name on it. Took TB. TFTC

#5641. I flew up to Rotorua today as a close relative is very sick and so the family has gathered around to support her whanau. After spending much of the day near the bedside, several family members needed some time out and to go for a walk. So I suggested we have a look for some geocaches. This was the last one we looked for today. Should have been a quicker find but it wasn't. Checked too many places before rereading the hint and had another idea of where to search. This time I hit the jackpot. Picked up a trackable. Signed the log and replaced the cache as found. Thanks for the cache modmood.

There was a break in the weather so I headed out to grab my last cache of the day. Took me 5mins or so of searching but yay I found it!! Cool placement!! TFTC

armed with the hint and hidden from site with the car I went looking, didnt take long to spot, cache all in good order, thanks for the placement and the stunning views

Found after short while. Lid was not on securely and water was inside. Drained out but will be damp for a while. TFTC and greetings from the UK

When you're staying within 70m of a cache it would be rude not to collect it! Took a very short detour here after walking the Ngongotaha trail and the cache was easily found.

This is a cool hide here . . . . . . had me going for a little while and then I made the find . . . . . thanks for the hide and fab sized container . . . . . .

One of 10 located in Rotorua today. Took a few minutes to find. A little bit of debris around the place, which detracted a tad from the site. Unsuccessful on first scout around, but looked at previous logs and decided it was there to be found. And it was. #1492. TFTC.
