Queens Birthday Weekend so we are off caching for the long weekend. Todays route took us from Greymouth to Motueka via Dovedale. We left this one for after dark intentionally to avoid any muggles. A super quick find here as Mum spied the hint on approach. Thanks for placing this cache here for everyone else's enjoyment.
Seemed to be DNF day for me..until now ...nice tidy place and great to get a simile on this one thanks you two for the great place....Include the aptly named crescent cheers Macwatt....McCarthy

When the rain finally stopped I came out to Motueka and picked up a few caches. This was the fourth. Had to wait for a dog walker to walk past before I could rummage and pick this one up.
Thanks for placing and greetings from the .

This morning we left Pelorus Bridge on our way to Takaka. We had some stops on the way and when we stopped, we looked for caches also.
We found several caches but not all.

Headed over this way, this was my first find of the day, nice wee hide. Thanks for the cache
This was a cool nifty hide. Didn't take long to find this one. I was worried that i was going to get spotted by 2 muggles but they were tooo busy minding their own business luckily enough. TFTC. Find #296
Found on our visit from Wales. Had to do the old shoelace trick while a lady went past
SisterCorny travelling Asia and Oceania for four month, now in New Zealand.
After a great trip to the Abel Tasman NP yesterday, we had a half day to kill around Motueka and went for a nice walk around the town and the coast, not many people arround but a very nice surrounding.
This one we found pretty easy in the small alley. Nobody around thanks to Nelson Day. TFTC

Log is like jelly. Would CO be able to replace please? No plastic bag in cache to protect the log.
On a caching mission to Motueka this evening with Sir Belac and Nanzie. Took a lot longer than it should have to find. TFTC

Took us awhile..our GPS didn't seem to be overly happy with where the cache was...but then sometimes you just gotta be smarter...tftc
Heading for dinner at my brother-in-laws in Riwaka this afternoon. We had time to stop and find a couple of newish caches. I wandered into the walkway and as the GPS counted down spotted something of interest - and there was the cache. I then spotted a muggle approaching from the other end of the alley so I retreated to our car to sign the log and wait for them to pass by before I replaced it. TFTC, Biggles.
GPS led me pretty much straight to it.
Signed and returned.
Thanks for the cache

We wandered about aimlessly for a while -- - but then a likely hiding spot was spotted and next minute the log was being signed. Thanks !
A quick find on a short walk on my way home this afternoon. Cache was in the first place I checked which is always a nice thing.
Thanks Streetgamer and mothunter for the cache.

On a mini night raid in Motueka to make some finds with a lesser muggle factor we found lots of holes but which one? Initially without success we shifted our focus a short distance and suddenly that hole in one was spotted, inspected and the find made. After the formalities we disappeared again in the night. Thank you Streetgamer
I knew of this walkway but have never actually used it until tonight. Wary of shining torches about for too long it was with relief when Hazedarus spotted the cache.
Thank you Streetgamer.
Thank you Streetgamer.
Found this a few days ago but didn't have anything to sign the log so came back today on my bike TFTC one of many that you place i hope
A nice drive over to Mot once the rain stopped to find this cache and do a few messages. Good hide which I spied when I was checking out something else. TFTC #7799
Mrs Sobad and her sister had visited the Mapua Makers Market - so going to Motueka on the way home was a logical thing for a cacher to do. At GZ we spent a bit of time checking many of the wrong places before we found the right one. On reflection the cache size would have saved time but we had entered the coordinates as a waypoint so didn't have the full listing with us.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Our closest un-found cache to our home and in an alleyway I use most days to go to work - so decided we should go and find it - after a very nice evening stroll with my husband Stretch0 we decided to grab this on the way home - as per usual when caching an area that has very few people most times was a bit busier this evening soon found ,signed and replaced - thanks for the cache
I thought i would take a chance on this one and have a look on my way to work without the help of my GPS. It was not long before cache was in my hand and all signed off.Cheers
What a great little first hide, very clever indeed. Sometimes mice live in place like this so was a little bit edgy about investigating too much further, a creative hide worthy of a fav.
May you make many more young Streetgamer Thank you.

Arrived at GZ and the cache was in our hands within minutes

Now here's the thing: You introduce your kids to geocaching and sooner or later they want to hide their own cache. Fine so far.
Now I admit I've worked with Streetgamer on his first couple of hides but this was the first of his own doing. The first I knew of it was when an email alert popped up and whilst I knew I would never be, or want to be, the FTF, I thought the find would be quite straightforward when we visited Mot to collect him from his friend's, MotHunter.
Probably overcome with complacency as well as being egged on by three sets of knowing eyes, my search went from a fun 'not really looking too seriously' search to a typical 'well it's got to be here somewhere!' hunt that I am sure many of you will be familiar with. All the time being goaded by those knowing eyes. Oh the shame!
We'll I'm pleased to say that I eventually found the cache, although I'm convinced the coordinates are a little out
Nice one - well done you two!

Woo Hoo, Ya Ya, Kerching ! Our first FTF in NZ.
Never thought it would happen as the cachers here are so speedy but we were ready to leave for the gym this morning just after 8 am when up popped the cache, literally on our way to Mot. We arrived at GZ to find another cacher from Palmerston North on the case so we quickly bound and gagged him and made the FTF ours. Just kidding, we searched together and fortunately we found the cache and signed it but are very happy to share the FTF.
Thanks streetgamer and Mothunter for the cache and making our day. It just has to get a favourite !
