Logs
Found by Mary and David at 11:40. The outer container is a little squashed, and the inner one has little teeth marks. Love your research. Our thanks to Saint.Anthony.
Apologies for some generic logs. These were all straightforward finds but we were concerned about the state of the track - initially a little rough in places with water puddles but we persevered. A lot of the track was fine but there a number of sections where the track was very narrow with foliage brushing along both sides of the car at the same time! Thanks to Saint.Anthony for the cache.
Got to GZ and think a branch has fallen on the cache. Still able to open it and sign the log. TFTC!!
Last one along the trail and another quick find. Log signed quickly and then back on my way.
Thanks again St.A...cache here all good.

Found in the shelter, protected by an army of mossies avoiding being blown to the coast! SL TFTC We were lucky enough to find another goat for Signal in your caches today, so thank you
Another day with out sassieold55, we decided to to spend some more time here to gather some more smileys. TFTC
Out adventuring to lose with AlexiKatty and decided to add this smile to my map

Out on the push bike to get some exercise and also find a few caches. It was pretty warm today, so I was rather wary of snakes, but happily none were to be seen.
I've not been along this line before. It's a great little ride, but it's a pitty that it no longer goes through to Allenford.
All the caches had reasonable co-ordinates and were in good condition. And happily most didn't take long to find either.
Thanks for bringing me here.

Adventuring along the trail line. Wonderful history, thanks for bringing us here. Cheers from Team Bearsleys
Sometimes you trust your tools, your GPS, and other times you just trust your gut instincts.
This one was fairly obvious on arrival and an interesting tree to see.
Thanks for the cache.

Wow... 2 December! When did that happen? After finishing off the Christmas caches it was back to complete the rail trail which was partly completed last visit and a few other caches before heading home.
GPS was a little off but the likely location was pretty obvious for this one!
Thanks Saint.Anthony for the cache.

Our first week away after lockdown number 2. Combining caching with gold detecting and enjoying the bush. Staying in creswick for 2 days helping the regional towns out as we travel along. TFTC
TFTC. This trail has been on our radar for a few years. We were in an around Creswick today so took the opportunity to discover this trail . It became a Saint.Anthony couple of hours. Great to be able to go out and have a bit of sunshine. All the caches on the trail were in good order.
Heading to St. Arnaud for the mega event. Day 69 of our trip. Caching along the way. A total of 1 for the day and 1927 for the trip. TFTC
We were out and about in the Ballarat area today caching on our last day before we head back home to Tassie. We've really enjoyed our caching experiences and we were glad to be able to fill in another area on the map. TFTC

Out and about today, this was a targetted cache and was found. This was an easy find and a new logbook.
Continuing our adventures around Creswick and beyond, before making our way home to Wangaratta. What fun - a set of caches in a railway reserve. Off we go... Interesting burnt offering here. Noticed a couple of notes saying that the log was full, so put a new one in place. SL at 10.07am #6427 TFTC Saint.Anthony
A nice quick find while doing the school drop-off. Go to gz and had the cache in hand but we're struggling to find a spot in the log to write my name due to the logbook being full. Signed wear I could. Tftc
Littlest cacher found this quickly. Lovely trail, passed a few quizzitive horses!
Visiting get daughter from Qld. This is the first days since I arrived that there hasn’t been any rain. It’s nice to get out and find a few caches. A quick find here thanks.
Out and about today with Beckster22. She's down visiting from Queensland again and today was the first day since she arrived that wasn't downright cold, wet and miserable. So, we took this opportunity to go for a drive to collect a few smileys. We decided this little trail would be our target for the day. Quick easy find here. The log on this one is totally full but we managed to squeeze our names in. Thanks for the hide.
Newstead Day 3
Todays trip was around the mining area as far south as Creswick. We came accross some amazing caches & locations, a really enjoyable day.
The weather started quite bad, rain jackets & beanies to keep warm. The unsealed roads were good to drive on as we kriss cossed the country side. Learnin a little about the area as we went.
We were able to drive our car along this trail today.
Thanks for placing this cache Saint.Anthony

Geocaching day with our awesome geocaching friends, 2 adults and 9 children, with our family on a quest to reach 200. We got started early in the hope that we could beat the intense heat, but there wasn't much chance of that. We had downloaded this one to our Garmin a few weeks ago, so thankfully the Dive Wombat family knew about the updated coordinates, or we never would have found it. Thanks for the cache.
A group effort today working our way along the creswick to bloomfeild rail reserve, with AlbertMedows and his family and one of the WildFam and one bewildered muggle, all up about 11 of us all scrabbling around looking for caches on a very hot day. we walked half the track and noticed how good the track is and thought let’s drive it, Park the kids under a tree and headed back for the cars.
cheers thanks for the cache

It was a really pleasant and relaxed drive along this trail late in the afternoon on a sunny day. Lots of rabbits and kangaroos out and about as well. Thanks for these caches and an enjoyable afternoon.
After not finding two caches further up the track I did find this one. Self-esteem restored, yeay! TFTC!
Find #1832 for me. Found at 3:10 pm on a cold but otherwise pleasant winter's day as the rain continued to hold off. When I arrived here after failing at "Capped" further along the trail my heart sank. GZ was very similar and as I poked around this one without success I was starting to feel a little spooked. Persistence, however, paid off and I did find the cache after a short search. My camera time-stamp said it only took me 6 minutes though it felt like a lot longer! I'm happy to report that log-sheet here was quite dry and could be easily signed. Thanks for the cache and the series Saint.Anthony!
