Found by Mary and David at 12:35. Our eldest grandson is a talented cricketer, and plays in several Under Age teams in SA. Our son works for Cricket Australia. Lots of curious horses along the way. Our thanks to Saint.Anthony.
We were a little concerned about the state of the track - initially a little rough in places with water puddles but we persevered. A lot of the track was fine but there a number of sections where the track was very narrow with foliage brushing along both sides of the car at the same time! Anyway this was a quick find. Thanks to Saint.Anthony for the cache.
Good quick find here and I was soon back on my way. Lots of water/puddles to try and dodge along the way.
Thanks again St.A...cache all good.

Surprised to find the old railway line here with all its wildflowers. We puddled our way down to success in sunshine! SL TFTC
Another day with out sassieold55, we decided to to spend some more time here to gather some more smileys. TFTC
Out adventuring to lose with AlexiKatty and decided to add this smile to my map

Out on the push bike to get some exercise and also find a few caches. It was pretty warm today, so I was rather wary of snakes, but happily none were to be seen.
I've not been along this line before. It's a great little ride, but it's a pitty that it no longer goes through to Allenford.
All the caches had reasonable co-ordinates and were in good condition. And happily most didn't take long to find either.
Thanks for bringing me here

Beautiful Saturday afternoon, cool breeze, freedom from lockdown, love it. Thanks for bringing us here.
Wow... 2 December! When did that happen? After finishing off the Christmas caches it was back to complete the rail trail which was partly completed last visit and a few other caches before heading home.
Returned to finish off this trail that I started on my last trip. Fortunately I had already logged the white wolf cache as this has since been archived (as the dog barked on our way past). A quick find at GZ.
Thanks Saint.Anthony for the cache.

On the way to this cache we were joined by a hopping friend before a quick find. Thanks
Our first week away after lockdown number 2. Combining caching with gold detecting and enjoying the bush. Staying in creswick for 2 days helping the regional towns out as we travel along. TFTC
TFTC. This trail has been on our radar for a few years. We were in an around Creswick today so took the opportunity to discover this trail . It became a Saint.Anthony couple of hours. Great to be able to go out and have a bit of sunshine. All the caches on the trail were in good order.
Cache maintenance today. Thanks for the reports of missing log. Replaced new log with ziplock bag and new container to blend into surrounds. All good to go again.
Heading to St. Arnaud for the mega event. Day 69 of our trip. Caching along the way. A total of 6 for the day and 1932 for the trip. TFTC
We were out and about in the Ballarat area today caching on our last day before we head back home to Tassie. We've really enjoyed our caching experiences and we were glad to be able to fill in another area on the map. TFTC
Thanks Alansee for the cache audit and Harrowing for the new log. All good to go thanks to these champions of the geocaching game. Returned cache to hide with obvious protections atop.
Spent the day in the area finding caches of which this was one. Another new logbook.
Continuing our drive along this Rail Reserve, a few puddles and pot holes and the occasional rain shower made for an interesting journey, but the caches were worth it! We didn’t get caught out or stumped here, but we did give the cache some extra padding in the form of a new log sheet in a zip lock bag. SL at 10.54am #6431 TFTC Saint.Anthony
Visiting get daughter from Qld. This is the first days since I arrived that there hasn’t been any rain. It’s nice to get out and find a few caches.
Loving the well named caches on this trail! No need for hints! Thanks for placing Saint Anthony. Caching today with geomum Beckster22.
Newstead Day 3
Todays trip was around the mining area as far south as Creswick. We came accross some amazing caches & locations, a really enjoyable day.
The weather started quite bad, rain jackets & beanies to keep warm. The unsealed roads were good to drive on as we kriss cossed the country side. Learnin a little about the area as we went.
We were able to drive our car along this trail today.

Geocaching day with our awesome geocaching friends, 2 adults and 9 children, with our family on a quest to reach 200. We got started early in the hope that we could beat the intense heat, but there wasn't much chance of that. Nice, easy find. Thanks for the cache.
A group effort today working our way along the creswick to bloomfeild rail reserve, with AlbertMedows and his family and one of the WildFam and one bewildered muggle, all up about 11 of us all scrabbling around looking for caches on a very hot day. we walked half the track and noticed how good the track is and thought let’s drive it, Park the kids under a tree and headed back for the cars.
This was awesome watching three really competitive kids charging across to the gz and frantically searching until one finally held it aloft with a look of triumph on her face.

It was a really pleasant and relaxed drive along this trail late in the afternoon on a sunny day. Lots of rabbits and kangaroos out and about as well. Thanks for these caches and an enjoyable afternoon.
First one for toady. Parked the car nearby and started walking from there. This one was easy to find. TFTC!
My wife wanted some time to check out the MIll Market antique centre so I headed back out this way to go for a walk along the trail. A very pleasant way to spent a couple of hours, pleased to say the weather came to the party as well. Had a good hit rate with only a couple of DNFs.Thanks for the hides. Cheers and TFTC
Managed to find a little shelter from the wind which was much appreciated. Quick easy find. Thanks for the cache.
Seemed to have found our groove now with some great finds. It was a really nice track, and somehow, we were sheltered by the wind, making it into a really pleasant day. . Find #962 for me too. +

Found today while i had some time up my sleeve before meeting up with Claybol to find some more caches along the Creswick Broomfield Rail Reserve series.
I had a couple of caches left at this section of the trail so while i was waiting i set off hoping for a couple of quick finds before Claybol arrived to do the other side of the road.
Found easily enough but the logbook was a soaked mushy mess. Today i had some spares so i have replaced it for future cachers.
But as i was returning to the other side of the road to meet up with Claybol i dropped my old phone i use for a gps and it happened to land upside down straight under where i was about to step! One shattered screen later and it looks like i need to buy another cheap smartphone.
Thx anyway St. A ftc.

Find #1826 for me. Found at 3:10 pm. I was with Perpetuallylost but he had already found it before we met up earlier so he stood back while I made the find. Well, it could only really be in one place and there it was! Thanks to Perpetuallylost the new log-sheet was dry and I quickly added my name and moved on to the next one. Thanks for the cache and the series Saint.Anthony!
On the coldest day for ages in Ballarat with light rain and the temperature hovering around four degrees only crazy geocachers and ducks would venture out into the bush.
After attending the Hidden Creatures Event in Ballarat we are back out in the Creswich area getting some more smiley faces with au.fait and Mogni from SA. This guy turned out to be a sneaky quick find, signed and we were on our way to the next on our list.
Thanks St.A for placing these caches.
