Logs
This one has not been found since 9/9/16 I suspect that considering the limited choice of hiding it at GZ that it has gone AWOL.
Took a good 10 mins to find. Going blind even with my glasses on. Needs a new log. TFTC
Well we walked in circles for a bit then woke up. Good hide. The log is full so we wrote on top of a faded log.
10.10am. Only time for a short walk today. A quick one to be the first of five.
Thank you. David and Noeline.
Thank you. David and Noeline.
Today we decided to head out on the bicycles and the Redcliffe area was our target.
This was our first find for the day which we picked it up rather easily without any dramas.

Our first day out caching in quite a few weeks with the usual team of Nikid1, Lenore1972 & I. We decided to finish off the friends series so headed over the bridge to Redcliffe on a beautiful sunny Brissy winters day.
We started the day off well with a quick find here. Log signed (barely) & cache replaced as found.

Was out GCing with KerriMG & Lenore1972 today and decided to try and finish the friends series.
This was stop number 1.
A quick find here without the aid of the clue. Log is very full, but I managed a NLK in the side.

Young fella pulled up just as we arrived so we had to wait a bit as he unpacked his fishing gear. Then,we quickly grabbed the cache just as he was distracted. About to replace it when another angler wandered by on his way home and decided to stop for a chat. Finally able to replace - and it wasn't a busy area at all at this time of day! TFTC
Out for a Sunday cycle on the geoMTB's, crossed over the bridge and soon has this one spotted. TNLNSL TFTC .
I went caching with my daughter & my grandson. Blimey She found it. She's never been geocache before. It was not far from her house. T.F.T.C
Nice quick easy find in a beautiful spot. Thanks for bringing me here. Tftc
With a bit of spare time on hand before an appointment at Redcliffe this morning for work, I decided to spend the time wisely an gather a few caches. Certainly a lovely sunny winter's morning to be down by the water. As I exited my car a muggle vehicle pulled up right next to GZ and loitered for a while before finally moving off. This allowed me to zero in and gather up the cache. TFTC.
Got the mooselings on the scooters yesterday to do a string of caches on the foreshore. This one was first and an easy one to boot. Log popped out easily enough too. A great start to the run. Tftc 4ando
I thought this one would be impossible with the potential for muggles. Luckily the wind was keeping the numbers down and those that were present were all out over the water, no where near GZ.
Another nice quick find thanks.
Another nice quick find thanks.
Found by Sunshine Toledo and Jinga2 at 9:28am. The cache was found quickly and it's in good condition. TFTC
Arrived with a PT exercising her squad close by. Had a walk to the end of the fishing platform then back again to find then sign. TFTC 4ando
Dragged the family out to find some goodies and pretending we are tourists. 4ando tftc
A busy little spot on a public holiday but we were able to locate and sign quickly! Thanks for the cache
Parked nearly on top of it. Quick find for today.

Out for a few hours of caching with sister in law and nieces. In spite of lots of muggle activity, the cache was easily found and log signed. TFTC 4ando
I was heading over to Redcliffe today to see a band tonight and had some time to spare and stop for a few caches along the way.
This was the first and a place that I have enjoyed stopping before to take a photo or two. I soon had myself GZ and with no one nearby made the grab quick, as I was signing the log though a car pulls up right next to me and they start getting fishing gear out. Well I read through the sign and they were off down the pier and I could soon get it back place.

Mrs Just a Trifle was out for a day of caching with Rhyssa6 and Dutchie1950, primarily to complete the Episode Series of caches but to also pick up any others we came across along the way. After a few hours, we were joined by IolantheK which completed our day of fun and hijinks.
Having been handed the log by Rhyssa6 who had arrived at this cache before us, it was up to us to return it to the cache container in its hiding spot which we found easily enough.
We mostly had pleasant weather for our day on the Redcliffe Peninsula, with just an occasional shower here and there to cool us down.
Thank you 4ando for having placed the cache and maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

# 1301 - Met up with Mrs Just a Trifle at our usual meeting place, coffee at the ready, and made the trip to Redcliffe where we were going to attempt the Episode series together with Rhyssa6. IolantheK joined us after lunch and went back to the first few before going home.
As Mrs JaT and I were a tad bit late Rhyssa6 had found the first cache already and all we had to do was sign the log. The hint made a lot of sense.

I had arranged to meet up with Mrs Just a Trifle and Dutchie1950 to do this series today. I was a few minutes early and Dutchie 1950 phoned to say they'd be a few minutes late so I decided I might as well get a head start while I was waiting for them.
The cache was an easy find and I added my name to the log and rolled it up only to find I hadn't rolled it tight enough to fit back into the container. In a rare moment of smart thinking I decided I'd hold onto the log for the others to sign and then rolling it up would be their problem. . All they had to do then was the cache and replace the log. [:p]

I spent a few hours this afternoon with Dutchie1950, Rhyssa6 and Just a Trifle on a jaunt around Redcliffe [^] and now that we have all gone our separate ways home, I think I shall grab the 4 in this series the others did this morning.
Last one for the day as it's nearly dark. Still drizzling. The big intersection was very busy and I missed the right road in to this one, but a quick detour up and around, then a short walk brought me to the right spot. The hint was neat, so a quick find. Oh and look, there's a munzee TFTC, 4ando.

TFTC nice windy spot .. Probably not the best time to be here when the bins were being emptied lol very smelly but at least the geokids were happy watching the garbage truck. Thanks for this hide
There was another one nearby not too long ago, it must be gone now. Quick find here thanks to the clue.

This cache was found in good condition, and adds to our total of 2290 smilies. Thanks **4ando** for showing us this spot. Discover our trackable TGQNRV

Good hint for this one a quick find before unloading the bikes for a ride across to the cache on the bridge.
I missed this cache the first time around due to it being disabled. Today I had reason to be back on the peninsula so I thought I would grab this and a couple of other caches. Found cache rather quickly. Signed miniscule log and returned as found. TFTC 4ando.
Time to get out and about so off we head to grab some caches. Quick find here and set off for the walk along the water. Tftc
**Smilie #3770**
Noticed a few new caches on the north-side so we thought we'd check them out & see if we could convert them to smilies on our map.
WOW!
I think this was our quickest find today!
Waited for a muggle to leave then it was Wham, Bam, thank you Ma'am!
Signed & replaced as found.

Out with stortigirls, picking up a few caches. We parked the caar and walked down the steps to GZ. As I was retrieving the cache, a muggle came along. As he passed, he kept staring at us. We decided that it would be better to retreat with the cache in hand. We sat on the stairs and signed the log. Then we had to wait and wait and wait before he finally got in his car. We thought the coast was clear so stortigirls rushed to replace the cache. The muggle spotted us again as we headed back to our car. Luckily it was in the other direction. TFTC
I was out with Selva Girls this morning to pick up a few caches in between errands. As one of this new series filled a challenge spot for me we thought we'd begin the trail. As Selva Girls was retrieving this one along came a nosey muggle who would just. not. go. away!!! We retreated to another spot to sign the log, and waited for him to leave. And waited...and waited...and waited. Finally, once he was in his car we were able to sneak the container back into its hide without him seeing, then he proceeded to reverse, caught sight of us, and watched us heading towards our car til we were out of sight. No pressure! Tftc 4ando!
Lots of patience and stealth required at this one, as I waited for quick moments for quick looks, eventually this worked out OK!
Good spot here, thanks 4ando

Wednesday. Kerry from Slow Puncture was down in the old stamping ground today but had no time for caching. Well, maybe just one (Hooray).
As I used to live very near here, and can still remember the toll booths in operation, this was a nice trip back in time. My siblings and I used to come down here in our youth and find the loose change that people used to drop out of their cars.
Cache signed and returned.

I saw already a while ago this new series. Today I was by accident close to this one with RoddyC so we started with the first one. Had to look around a little bit and we also had a little bit of a trouble with the logbook but in the end our names are on it.
Happens to be Mrs RoddyC's work day on the Peninsula, so inveted Nadine1989 along for a bit of caching, as it better than solo caching in hot weather!
This was our first find - had to wait for some muggle workmen to lift the Bollard so their work truck could leave the area, then we were in for the kill. Except, we had to TOTT to retrieve the log - so quickly back to the car where extraction took place, signings, and subsequent replacement.
Found at 10.15am on 8th February 2015. TFTC.

It took us a little effort, but it is there. As in one of the previous logs getting the log out of the cache was the episode on its own
Thank you!
Thank you!
All good to go again at 5.53pm. Replaced with an ever so slightly bigger container, hardly noticeable until you try to insert and remove the log sheet. Once again sorry for losing this one for you 4ando. Replaced where I found it.
Hi brissy guy, I have not heard anything further from ozpokemasters, just wondering if you are still on track to replace cache or should we sort it out?
Cheers

As per my found log, please disable until I can get a replacement installed. Sorry for the inconvenience 4ando and fellow cachers.
As per request from Brissy Guy, also Brissy Guy, all good mate, and thanks for being honest, very very appreciated!!!!!
Hey guys I'll be out his way this arvo I have plenty of caches on me I'm happy to replace if you want
1784 - I headed over to Clontarf after a meeting this evening to grab my cache of the day and this is the one I found at 7:54pm. On entry to the car park I witnessed a near crash, as an inattentive driver ran a red light and almost hit an unsuspecting motorcyclist travelling in his path. Luckily the motorcyclist was paying attention and managed to narrowly avoid a serious impact and injury.
I found the container fairly easily, but I also had some trouble trying to extract the log book from the container, so I returned to the geomobile to use a tool I have for this purpose. I put the container in a safe place so I could begin the extraction of the log from the lid and then went to grab my glasses (that I have only recently started wearing) to assist me to perform the extraction. Unfortunately the glasses fell out of their case and landed on the console, and dislodged the container from it's safe place. Once I extracted and signed the log, returned it back to the lid of the container, I went to grab the container from where I left it and it was gone :O. I then spent at least the next 15 minutes searching everywhere possible for the container but it could not be found. I checked everywhere including the seats, the floor, under the seats, the console and I even moved the car and checked underneath it in case it had escaped out the door. I'm sorry 4ando, but I could not return the cache with only one half of the container and I request that you temporarily disable it. As soon as I got home I ordered a replacement container, which I expect to arrive in a few days time (only coming from the other side of the City), and as soon as it arrives I will insert the log and replace the container where it belongs. Until then I request that you disable the cache to advise future cachers. I sincerely apologise for this inconvenience caused by my clumsiness and will get it rectified as soon as possible.

That would be great, please message me privately and I'll tell you the location, and type of cache required.
Tftc. Quick find but when it came to getting the log out to sign that was another story. After 15 minutes the deed was done.
Joint *FTF* with Gmccul & Ellehcim2001
This one threw us the most. Serious case of caching blindness. I am 6ft tall so should have spotted immediate but some how didnt.
Whilst I was half way up the embankment our shortest member of the crew (Ellehcim2001) managed to put her hands on the cache.
Signed and returned. Now to hit the other end of the Peninsula and finish the series!
