the mint has reopened to the public but the public galleries have changed a bit, meaning the questions can't be answered.
The mint is closed and has been for a while. It will only be opened around September. Not sure how the Mega event people claimed that they got it. Not possible.
Found during the Mega event in Canberra over the Easter long weekend. Our team comprised courtneyrose_, Davidwazza, e.gregory1, Featherwaite, Freddo, gridge98 and Team Waldron, signing the logs as ABP to save time and space in the logbooks , or with our individual caching names. Enjoyed a great weekend away finding a rewarding range of cache types, d/t combinations, cache hides and retrievals. Thanks for the cache Tankengine!
Found this during a fantastic weekend away at the Canberra Mega, with gridge98, Freddo, Team Waldron, e.gregory1, Davidwazza and Featherwaite. The log books were either signed with the name ABP or our individual caching names. Was an excellent Mega, grateful to be part of it!
Found on our journey over the week here. This weekend was mega weekend and we headed over with Courtneyrose_ Freddo, Team Waldron, e.gregory1, Davidwazza and Featherwaite as part of our team called: ABP (Alphabet People), the log books were either signed with the name, ABP or our individual caching names.A great weekend away in the capital and a very well organised mega, it was nice to be back in the ACT caching once again over easter with great weather. Thanks for the cache
Found while attending the Mega event in Canberra over Easter.Today I teamed up with FeatherWaite, Team Waldron, gridge98, CourtneyRose and Davidwazza. Logs were signed ABP to save time and space on the logsheets. It was a productive day, focusing mainly on caches of interest, with a variety of cache types. The weather was fine and quite warm, in contrast to some of the other times Ive been in Canberra over Easter. Thanks Tankengine for the cache.

On a MEGA day today with eldest geokid as he clocks up about 9 hours in his Learners Logbook. We had a lot of fun just picking up whatever semi-random caches we felt like before attending the [Geobash](https://coord.info/GL1BRA49R) in time for the Lackey/ Reviewers workshop. We bumped into a few teams out there today including a team from Narrogin WA. A good day but were wrecked! Our main task for the day today was that we were going to visit the Royal Australian Mint together (and also do this Multi) but we rocked up and [it is currently closed to the public](https://www.ramint.gov.au/visit)! Checked website when we got to GZ and learned that it doesn't re-open until Spring!#1947
Playing hometown tourist with totalube, reunited after 4 years and TTLB's first cache since 2020!! My first visit to the Mint, despite living in Canberra for a while now! It was actually super cool and a great place to visit for locals and tourists alike. We had a couple of answers for titan's floor bolts and never did find the weighing machine answer but managed to come up with a good set of coordinates nonetheless. Cache was a quick find and a very cool container. Tftc!
Was visiting the mint with lokipagan, and we gathered our clues on a very educational visit. Once we visited the gift shop, we were of to find this cache, my first in over 3 years. Thanks
Visiting from the Great White North
Even since I knew we would be passing Canberra on our trip. I knew we had to stop at the mint. Loved learning about all the coins and bought myself the vegemite 2023 set.
Was stumped one one of the steps but got there. Left three 1964 Canadian nickels in the cache as this is a very coiny cache. Only take one so it can spread the Canadian swag around.
TFTC as always

We had one answer obviously wrong and another unsolved but with a bit of playing around came up with somewhere plausible and successfully found the right location

A surprisingly busy place even late in the afternoon - tour busses and everything! Nonetheless I steadily worked my way through the questions and with a viable GZ, popped over to have a look. A nice new - magnific, perhaps? - container here!
Thanks, Tankengine!

The last time I visited the mint was Dec 2022 with approx 80 students in tow so was unable to grab this cache then. Back with the family today so made sure I grabbed the required info and hide. However, I missed a number so I had to guess, hubby spotted the spot we had to be and the cache was quickly retrieved. The cache had some moisture but we were able to add our name.
Thanks for a multi that highlights this wonderful place. Cheers.

#3463 Being overdue for a trip to the mint to buy some new coin sets, DeadThief and I took the opportunity to attempt this multi as well. Worked our way through. Took our time counting bolts until we had a viable answer. The rest of the questions were straight forward although it did take us some time to locate one particular piece. Then off to our hopeful GZ only to realise I had typed in one digit incorrectly. So then off to our new GZ for a thankfully quick find. Thanks Tankengine for the Magnific Multi.
Visit to the Mint today with Taedr, found most of the answers between the 2 of us (with a little help from Tankengine). Thanks for the the education
Visited the Mint with the geobro, goldfinger777, and the nephews. We had a great time exploring the Mint and the nephews stamped their own coin. It's an interesting place the Mint - something for everybody to check out.
Found all of the info as we were checking out the exhibits then did the calcs. One number had us in the wrong spot but after a quick rehash of the calcs we soon had cache in hand for the signing.
Thanks for the fun multi TE - fave point for this one!

We are on the road travelling up through central Australian and down the coast of WA. Geocaching has taken us to so many great places in this beautiful country. I was happy to grab a few caches along the way and this was one of them.
What visit would be complete without a visit to the mint. Wandered about and found most of the info Thor this. Missing 1 clue, I had to improvise And came up with some likely Coords. It was a quick find after walking to GZ, helped by the hint.
Thanks for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

I finished a 2-day first aid course in Deakin this afternoon, and luckily The Mint was still open, so I wandered over to check out this multi. I can't recall the last time I was here as a tourist - probably in the mid to late 80's - so it was nice to check out the exhibits and collect the answers to the questions. Ultimately, I couldn't find the answer to one question, but it's place in the equation was one of limited consequence, so I simply slipped in a random value to see what would happen. The result was entirely plausible, so I wandered over to take a look. Turns out I was a few metres away from the intended location, but quite close enough to make the find.
Thanks for luring me back to the Mint, and thanks for the cache Tankengine!

I was not excited about visiting the mint today! But collecting clues for a cache sure did fill in time! after back tracking for one of the clues I soon had the cache in hand! TFTC
Found during my trip to Canberra.
Like others before me, I found that one of the answers didn't quite match up with the description, so I made an educated guess and ended up with two possible GZs. Fortunately, one of them matched up with the hint, and soon I had CIH! TFTC!

I wanted to do this cache for a while, think it would be great to do with Dino as well, but never got around to it. Found myself nearby after a doctors visit and seized the oportunity to go inside. Not what I expected, very limited exhibition and much less coins to see (well appart from the stairs and work floor) but to see the production was still very interesting. I am glad though I didn't talk this up for Dino.
Thank you Tankengine for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

A great day at the mint. One of the pieces of information didn’t seem to have an obvious answer that we could find, but never fear - we counted and made a smart guess.
Quick walk to GZ. Lid of container was tough to open, but managed to get in without causing any damage at all.
Log in great condition.

I needed a multi today and as I was travelling south to visit my sister I decided to try for this one. I had collected the required information and set off to GZ. A quick easy find and the log now carries my name. TFTC TE
I think I'm loosing my touch when it comes to multis. I was in the museum for at least half an hour trying to work out the clues. even then I was a bit unsure on one item.
My calculated position didn't look so good, so I did a linear progression to see if more options popped up. Hmm maybe better. Trusting the clue and my eye cache was in hand a few minutes later. Ohh well more than one way to stamp a coin.
Thanks for the interesting tour, haven't been in here for years

A quick visit whilst the geokids were in Art class. Wandered around collecting the required details, dodging the two school classes that were there as well. Been a few years since I was here, always something new to see. Sat on the bench outside to calculate GZ before the quick trip over for an easy find. TNLNSL TFTC
Had left work early to have a brain scan nearby and that didn't take long, so I wandered over and visited the mint for the first time.
It was really interesting, so thank you for bringing me here.
There was a bit of action going on in the mi ting room and I also had a look at the gift shop.
Cache was an easy find.

I joined nibletricecakes and GLISS! for a bit of caching this afternoon.
First stop was this solved multi. Quick find here today.

The afternoon was quite hot, but I took on another caching run. Some of these were in very long grass, but at least I did not see any un wanted creatures along the way, just a muggle or two. After jumping through the hoops to get the information for this one last week, I managed to get some valid looking numbers and locate the cache today.
Thanks for the cache Tankengine

We have been here before and we’re back again and also picking up this cache. Interesting place. TFTC
I'm on leave (school holidays) so took the opportunity to collect the clues. I did not find the answer to the final clue but was easily able to locate the container thanks to the hint. Thanks tankengine for another interesting cache.
Like others the Automation Weighing machine was nowhere to be found, but we did still manage an easy find with the clue making GZ rather obvious. TFTC.
We wandered about and found all bar the last answer. We had enough to make a find though.
Found with Gioeva and Rohkad after a nice visit to the mint, really cool! Nice multi. Cache well hidden. Tftc
On my way to see if I can avenge a DNF from yesterday, I decided to stop and work out this quick multi. Unlike the other multi, I’m glad this one was a quick find! Thanks for placing the cache, Tankengine.

Heading to Wollongong but we are spending a few days in Canberra 1st.

Found with sharkiefan while spending time in Canberra before heading up to the Gong event.
Being a coin collector, the mint is (and always will be) on the cards for a visit.
Last time here we didn't get to do this one. So today was the day.
Among the student group, getting a tour, we managed to get all the info for GZ. But before getting to that I had to make a purchase or two to feed the collector in me.

A nice quick find on a balmy -4 degree morning. I have had this one solved a while ago and was just waiting for the opportunity to be back in the area to collect. TFTC
With dty73 we set out this morning, at a leisurely its a public holiday pace! Always good!
We were meeting up with some fellow caching pals later in the day so made our way to a few other caches along the way while we waited. After an 'interesting' conversation with a chatty homeless man who we met at our last cache attempt, as interesting as the night vision goggles he was carrying were and the phone conversation he took that made him really really mad, we really needed to leave...
So, we came across to do this one!
It has been a while since my last visit here to the mint. When the kids where smaller we visited from time to time. Today though this was my fun, and what a surprise to see they had the 'Mr Squiggle'puppets display on here... Hurry Up!!!
All the questions were easily found and answered but for the last one. But it wasn't really a problem being the last number and so we walked over for a look, could see the item matching the hint in the distance so all looked good and cache was soon in hand.
Dty73 returned the next day with her kids to show them the display as well and after a bit of a look about did indeed find our missing weigh machine... Had we explored further we would have found it but managed okay without it... although it was good finding out where it was and what the number is!

Aquilus1 and I decided to pick up a couple of caches this morning before meeting our caching buddies to tackle two of the newest AL caches in town.
It didn’t start too well with me being 30mins late picking up Aquilus1, then getting stuck with a homeless guy chatting away to us on the way to our first cache of the day.
Finally we escaped and came here. It was absolutely heaving with people. Good to see so many people coming to the mint. It’s a great place!
And I’m so glad we did too! They still had the Mr Squiggle exhibit on and I was so excited!! They have the actual puppets on show and some other awesome stuff too.
We collected all the info except the last question before taking a seat and working out GZ. It was a quick walk to GZ where we found the cache all safe and sound, but in need of a new log though as it has become quite full. There are still the sides of the sheets to use though.
It was great fun. Tftc Tankengine!!!

My family and I had really enjoyed our visit to the mint on Monday but we had trouble getting Titan to talk and the girls were in a rush to get to Questacon, so left the final then I was speaking to another cacher who gave me a bit of a tip about titan , so we came back today for a quick find. Thanks for the cache Tankengine tnln replaced as found sl
I am enjoying the Clear Waters event and also sightseeing around Canberra. My husband suggested that we visit The Mint so I found this cache to complete at the same time.

Eureka! This is definitely a personal gold rush for me, after almost a year's absence from Canberra and this my third visit to the Mint - this time with wheels rather than public transport. A quick find in the end and as it was getting dark we also had the added bonus of seeing the Mint dressed in colours.
Reperio at 1115.
Part 2 Day 2 of our Clear Waters Mega event geocaching holiday, and the first order of the day was a family visit to the mint, and to see the Mr. Squiggle display. The kids absolutely loved seeing all the coins and machinery, and while we visited each of the displays, we answered each of the required questions for the cache.
Once outside, we plotted the coords, and then luckily found that we had GZ all to ourselves. A quick search and the kids made the find. Had a great time completing this one.

Nice one, Tankengine. I'd found several of the necessary answers on an earlier visit, and today I got the rest. As is often the case with your caches, there was a bit of a twist in the tale, but I found the cache in the end.
I'm missing out on caching with my mates because my partner's daughter is crook, and I've taken them for a medical check. I'm caching in the neighbourhood by myself. Thanks for this one.
I'm doing multis for Prof RapidlyWild's, UGC series. I've found only 97 out of the 200 I need. This one is number 98, "only" 102 to go. My 500 puzzles caches are also lagging. I have only 104 so far, but I do have solution s for about 80 more in Canberra, 220 in Victoria, and about 200 in South Australia. It's just a matter of going and getting them.

A day of cache collecting around Canberra - mostly with the aim of filling in a few suburbs, but scattered other caches included. I was instructed by my wife that I had to get some coins from the mint for her. Luckily there is a cache here too! TFTC.
Satelite view for this was a little concerning but decided there was no harm in going for a look. And there it was. The geo kids enjoyed the walk around the mint and they were doing their worksheets while geo dad solved this one. Great location

This was an exciting place to visit and small enough to get the clues in a timely manner. You just have to make sure you check all the rooms for the clues. GZ was a short distance away so after we had made a $1 coin, we walked over and enjoyed the fruits of our labour. TFTC

The one cache we have been wanting to do for a while but was never in the area during open time. Straight after lunchtime boxing we headed for the Mint. Took about 45min to locate all the items. Ending up reading all the data boards looking for some of the data but it was a case of daytime blindness and we got there in the end. Learnt lots and it was good fun. It was then just 1 minute to find the cache. TFTC Tankengine.
Not sure if it was our numbers or the hide had gone. And not sure if the titan is hiding some of the bolts we need to count. Oh well

Had a bit of trouble at Titan, and couldn't find the weighing machine after many laps. It was eventually found (that explains why I missed it each time before!) and reasonable co-ords for GZ were determined. Was a bit skeptical they were right but as it wasn't too far I figured it was worth a look anyway. Once there, the cache was a quick find.
It was interesting to investigate some of the machinery rather than focus on the coins.

My goal this year is to complete a personal challenge to find a cache for each calendar day of the year. Only two dates remain for February - today and tomorrow.
With my cricket elimination semi to be played nearby, this cache looked like the perfect one to do.
I found the first five numbers quickly but the sixth eluded me until I searched a little harder. The numbers were entered and then it was a short stroll to find a neatly hidden cache.
Thanks Tankengine, I always love visiting the Mint so this is a favourite for me!

#2410 at 11:00. Now that I work nearby, I thought it would be a good opportunity to find this cache. Of course, today is my day off. After looking through the interesting RAM, I gathered all the information required. Except for the weighing machine, where I couldn't see any details about it. Anyway I figured I could still work with the numbers I had gathered. Which worked nicely. I could see GZ from where I was standing. Cache was a quick easy find. Thanks TE for the Mint lesson.
What a great place. Highly recommend the tour. Picked up lots of fun facts. Questions were quickly answered so then we braved ourselves for the heat and went to get the cache. Thanks
Far too hot for a geocaching walk today, so a quick visit to TripAdvisor for top attractions in the area. The Mint ticked all the boxes; free, air conditioning and a cache. What is not to like? Walked around getting the clues (Titan caused a problem or two) then off to the final cache for a quick find. Thanks.
Tried this one nearly two years ago when it first came out but gave up when my gz was in Hughes and there were no nearby steps.
Returned to-day and redid all the clues but could not find F. Oh well I will just use the same number I had written down before. Comparing the two sets of numbers I noticed a large difference in one. Rechecked that one and yes there was the mistake I had made nearly two years ago in reading the question.
Off to the new gz for a quick find.
I used to collect coins but the cost to get the missing ones was becoming prohibitive, so after 40 years of collecting I sold the lot at auction and the missus ended up with a new kitchen. TFTC.

Another wander around a very familiar spot. Practically of first name basis with Titan now. TFTC
