No kids, not even the fur baby geopup Finn with me today. Very easy cache, lots of treasures for the kids. Have a trackable that I'll drop off next time I'm passing. TFTC.
Out and about with FMZ, exploring the Tauwhare area. We spot this cache on the map and decided to find it. Nice and easy find, lots of little treasures! We open the book and guess what we found -FMZ’s log from 2017. As it turned out, he’s already found it before. Thanks for the cache.
Quick spot of geocaching today after a short morning of work. Quick find, heaps of ants inside. Thanks for cache
Crikey we almost missed this cache for kids. 2 adults were blind until the eureka moment. TFTC
We spent way too long looking in the wrong place then Avoyager finally spotted it. Duh, so obvious! The cache is now home to a massive ant nest
We were heading into Cambridge for breakfast and were a bit early so detoured to look for this one.
We parked at the beginning of the driveway and hopped out to look for the cache which we spotted very quickly.
What an awesome cache, such a great size and lots of swag, We didn't swap anything but anyone who does will have a lot to choose from.
Thanks for a great start to our day.

Wonder and delight, big kid at heart, just wish I had a little kid with me.

What a wonderful cache. Have left you a dinosaur. Very lovely find for Mr 5s first outing
Thank you so much. The 5 year old is so excited about geocaching and it is a beautiful cache like this that inspires the love.
Nice large container with lots of swag for the children. Picked up the two trackables. Will move them on soon. Thanks.
Very cool cache, my son was excited to find this one after I had told him about it
Awesome! Thankyou for putting this out. My nephew (and us adults) loved it! Left a couple TB's
Today I had to visit Cambridge to do the AdLab cache plus any others that got in the way.
This is one of the others.
Cheers for the cache.

Great day out adventuring in the Waikato. This was great and would be great if you were bringing kids on an adventure. Thanks for hiding it
#956 - Mission over to Waikato for a day out, collecting a few caches along the way.
Wow such a cool cache, thanks for putting such an awesome one out there for the kiddos.
TFTC.

Met the owner who kindly pointed me where the cache was hidden. It is quite obvious but I was looking in the wrong place. She also explained to me what TB's are. I left an item, for the little ones, as pictured. I wonder if I will see it again in other cache :O
Ha ha I met the owner at the gate. I didn't let on I was looking for the cache so after walking up the road a bit and came back to the gate she asked me the question "r u a geocacher"? He he the cache was soon found. Gratings from Northland. Worthy of a fav.
Neat big cache full of goodies for the kids. Grabbed a trackable to take with me to the South Island next week. TFTC
Wow that was quick. Drop tb off this morning and it's already on its next adventure. Good size cache. Heaps of swaps. Left a nicely painted rock from taupo that someone can move on. Tftc
A quick find for M14 after a walk in the park. The cache had turned into a ant's nest!
TB out,
Thanks for hiding.
TB out,
Thanks for hiding.
In the area from Taranaki hunting out a nearby series of caches and stopped into this one. A nice stop and a quick find. Surprised at the container and dropped off a TB into the special box for TB’s. Thanks and a FP awarded.

Loved the idea for this hide, no kids or grandkids with us this time so we didn't take or swap anything.
Worthy a favourite me thinks.

Stretch0 and I are on a holiday in the North Island doing a bit of a road trip and picking up a few caches as we go - was nice to find a larger container - they are getting to be rare these days Thanks for the cache
Hi Linkin, I see you are a new cacher, so maybe you are still getting the hang of things, and learning where and how to look.
The cache is definitely there - maybe it is bigger than you expected?
Better luck next time. Enjoy your new interest.

Always enjoy finding big massive cache containers like this! Really nice and quiet location. TFTC.
Thanks for your post Watcache, apologies for the unpleasant experience.
Have evicted the unwanted tenants, and endeavoured to discourage any more from moving in! Will monitor the cache more closely.

We had organised a trip to Hamilton (Mistery Creek) a while ago to attend the New Zealand Motorhome Caravan association exibition weekend so we left Palmerston North at 4.30pm and headed to Taupo for Friday night, then bright and early headed off towards Mister Creek but not before collection a cache or two first. We found two caches prior to the NZMCA event now that we have been to the event it was lunch and caching time this was number 4 for the day, as we got close to ground zero it was pretty obvious where the cache was picked up the cache and when I opened it I had a lovely surprise it was ant galore hundreds off then they are quick little things running all over my hands up my arms so it was a quick sign of the log and placing the cache back then wipping all the ants of me before heading off to the next cache thank you for placing a cache here and for the extra adventure. TFTC
over in Hamilton for a couple of days clearing up some caches Nice day today and I haven't been out here before. Great cache and yes an excellent one for the kids. TFTC
This has got to be popular with the children with its contents. For the oldies it has to be on their bucket list! Tftc A favourite.
Back on the road again to finish the NZ Icons series that I started yesterday. The aim is to collect a bunch of puzzle caches so as to qualify for the Pluto Planetary Pursuit. Of the 500 points needed I will end up with about 2000, so I will be long past Pluto and Eris, and possibly somewhere in the Oort Cloud. That should qualify!
Come out this way for a couple of odds and ends, not realising what I was in for. After two days of nothing worth a favourite, this turns up! Now we're talking! Dropped in a path tag, and had a short chat to the CO (and dropped in some path tags to her as well). Nice, Moggy Val, good work.
Happy Easter!

We used to take this road a lot 25 or so years ago. Not really much has changed. Lovely large cache. Thanks very much moggy val
NZPatoto and I had organised to do geocaching today. It's been a while since our last outing. I decided to drive that way - if raining I could send NZPatoto to sign the log. We did not let the weather deter us even though at times it was really wet. We managed to get 9 done without getting wet. 2 of 9 Found by NZPatoto. Easy find. Lots of goodies to play with. TFTC
Nahkins and I decided to do some geocaching today as we hadn't done for sometime. It was showery and a bit heavy at times but we managed to get 9 done without getting wet. I found this one. There wasn't any fruit stall in sight but probably wrong time of the year. This was quite an easy find. If it wasn't wet I would have checked out the toys. TFTC
I've managed to wrangle a week off work after a busy winter. Had a meeting in New Plymouth last night, so once that was over, it was holiday time. Decided to head towards the Waikato, as I had solved all of the geo art there and was planning on concentrating my trip in that region.
After caching the road past the Waitomo Caves, I needed to get back on track so I don't arrive at my Airbnb hosts to late. However, there is still time for a bit more caching.
Nice to see a large bucket here - full of swaps if that is your thing. Swapped trackables. TFTC

A detour to find while on my way to Morrisville. Always nice to find a decent sized container. TFTC
On an all night (and following day) caching bender with harisree and Gorby to clear out the Eyes puzzles currently released, along with the Kiwi art series and any other caches that we drift along past. Who knows where we will get to or when we will get home. but that's the fun of it, right... TFTC!!!
FITW FMZ and Gorby
We started our caching adventure with the midnight pirate event in Auckland. Headed straight to Waikato. Cleared all published "The Eyes Have It!!" series, The Kiwi Art Trail, also picked up few trads here and there. We also managed to squeeze in two more pirate events. One in Hamilton at 6.30 AM and another one in Tauranga at 3.30 PM. We managed to reach back Auckland by 10 PM. I must say that it was a long day for us but fun too. Thank you for the placements. Sorry for the repetitive log.

Out and about caching today with FMZ and harisree. We came down from Auckland leaving after FMZ’s midnight Pirate event, cached all morning so far with no sleep. It’s all about numbers today for each of us, all the caches today are park n’ grabs including all the mystery caches we’ve done. It's a gorgeous day, warm too.
On my way to Cambridge so made a small detour to grab this nice easy drive by cache ...nice and quiet here no traffic so soon had the log signed and replaced ....thanks Moggy Val for a great cache
We had just visited 92 year old mother and of course had to fit in a cache or two. Great to see such a big cache. All good here. Thanks for bringing us here moggy val.
I was in the area having completed some chores for my wife. The weather was pretty horrible but since I was wet already I thought I would come grab this cache before heading home and drying off. No problems with the find. Its always nice to find a nice big swag filled cache.
Nearly missed it! I know, how!?! But thankfully cast my eyes around and there we go. Felt comfortable knowing this was placed with permission. We didn't swap anything today but definitely good swag here. Tftc
In spite of the weather we needed to go to Morrinsville so after we had completed our business there we took the long way home and collected a few caches.
Loads of goodies in this cache and all dry, which is amazing considering all the rain we have had and we all know water WILL find it's way into a cache but not this one.
Thanks moggy val.

Thanks for such a wonderful treasure trove for my assistant to fossick through... he swapped one treasure for another. I also left a few extra bits saved from a muggled cache we came across. Thanks for cache
I was early on my drive to my aunts house for dinner, so decided to use up the time by finding some of the local caches.
Stopped on the road next to GZ, then all of a sudden had another car pull into the drive way before me! were they cachers too? No, turns out they were the next door neighbours wondering why I was parked there. Once they finally opened their gates and went through I got out the car and went to collect the cache and TB.

In Hamilton for the dahlia show, had time to find some caches out this way in the afternoon. Dropped off TB. Thanks for the cache..
News Years Day, perfect for a series of driveby and walkbys in the Waikato. With no-one around parking was pretty easy. Thanks.
Nice quick simple find.. I grabbed both Travel Bugs as I am heading off for some travels around the North Island when my contract finishes in two weeks. I will check out what direction they need to travel to next and will make sure they go towards where they need to go. Great sized cache I remarkably good condition. Thank you.
Met the owner of the property. She saw my bike and wanted a closer look at it. Nice big cache.
Found it some days ago. First bigger Cache here in nz. Thanks and greets from Germany

As I pulled up a man was walking down the drive towards me. I told him I was here for the Geocache and he said the CO was in Alaska, then left to crutch some sheep. I think I had more fun today. Took: Lynes the Zebra TB, Left: New Orleans Mardi Gras necklace. TFTC
Tftc! Wow...what a great booty in this little beauty. The kids eyes lit up when they opened it up. Shame we didn't have anything to trade, as this was an impromptu find, when we found ourselves in the area....we didn't have our caching kit with us. So I was pleased to find a writing utensil in the cache, so we could log our find.
A nice place to hide a box! And a big one too. Thanks.
The weekend in Hamilton is done, time to find a few caches on the way to the airport.
Thanks to the CO's for the hides. Cheers.
