Out 4WDing with 777Tiger, and grabbing a few caches from Mundaring through to Bakers Hill and back through Wundowie.

After stopping in at the bakery for a late lunch, we ducked over here for the cache. Eventually once on the correct side of the platform, I made the find.

Cheers jasenjanine! I found your cache today (Sunday 8/3/20 at 15:14). Big Grin

Needed a break on our drive back to Baldivis from Kalgoorlie. We decided to stop and grab this one. We stepped out the nice air conditioned car into the stifling heat to start our search. Our gps original took us to the wrong place but once it settled we quickly had the cache in hand. We moved to the shade and signed your log and returned your cache back to where it lives. It’s always nice to find one that hasn’t been found for a few months just to do a welfare check. We can happily report this one is still well and going strong. At the rate we are getting this KEP series it will take us another few years yet. TFTC jasenjanine.

04-Feb-20
Found with axell33 on our way home from Kalgoorlie. We had a quick break to stretch the legs and made the find. Another series started in the middle and may be finished in any number of months or years! The fun is all ours to be had! Thanks for the cache and greetings from Baldivis.

Sad to say, but all good things must come to an end, or so they say!! Found this one early Monday morning after packing up camp and hitting the road for towards home, making a rather long day of it, stopping here, there and everywhere, hunting down smileys along the way. Hadn't planned on doing any more of this series, but seeing as how we were passing, we though "why not?" And the pastie I had was scrumptious too. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for the rest of us to come and find jasenjanine.

Out on a caching run with Ooh Yeh today, to continue trying to close in on my magical 2000th find, hopefully before WA Goes Big. Nice quick find here, in this nice little location, log signed and cache replaced as found. Really enjoyed the day out in the area, even more so as the geo-baby stayed happy for us haha! As were are staying in the area we thought we would tackle some of the local caches along the Kep Track and pipeline as well as a few others. The co-ords for some gave a general indication of where GZ was, but caches for some were found quite some metres from that point. It was an interesting day's hunt, along with ilook4geo, with some finds being more challenging.
The caches which took us to places where there was signage about the local history were really appreciated.
Thanks go to jasenjanine for this cache placement.

Stopped at the Pie shop for a well deserved lunch and then decided to walk it off down to this nearby cache. Busy reading the description as we neared gz when muggle husband guided me away from the siding. Large brown snake about 2 metres further on from the pipe slithered into a hole under the bitumen. Made a very quick signing of the log (thanks for replacing it) and high tailed out of there with my goosebumps. Now I know why I don't do too much caching in summer.

02-Sep-18
Found it but log book was to wet to write on but left a Amy man keeping an eye on it.

02-Sep-18
Nice hide but sadly waterlogged so no way of recording the find... My geocaching partner and I left our mark with an army man!

Interesting place to stop as the fam we were with have been past here many times and not been familiar with the station here. Great cache. Thanks

The clue helped hugely. This station closed in the year I was born. Has it worn the years better than I? Quite probably. T4TC jasenjanine

10-Jan-18
After such great fun and enjoyment from yesterdays walk, I set out today to continue the trek. I walked from Wooroloo to Clackline. Another hot day, but I took two breaks along the way at Wundowie and Bakers Hill to replenish. Arrived at Clackline around dusk to then realise there were no transport options to return to Wooroloo other than to walk back in the dark. Thankfully I brought a good torch to guide the way. I hope to complete the track all the way to Northam sometime soon. Last find before making a right turn for the pub so that I could cool down for a bit. TFTC jasenjanine

07-Sep-16
We have been tackling this series over a period of time and it was time to bite the bullet and get it completed .... So the geowife instructed me it was my time to complete it !!!!!
I packed the car with the old push bike and hit the trail early ......
It was dark when I hit Mundaring so it was out with the torch . Did I mention the weather was dismal !!!!
I managed to collect 81 and no DNFs.
Many different containers used so it was a pleasure to see a variety and the way they were used .....
I saw the history of the KEP track in different stages from the old water pipe to the railway sliding's / landings and the buildings close to the track from that era .
Sorry for the genetic log as I didn't take any notes but will comment on the ones I can remember !!!!
