Unfortunately, due to works being done in this area, I am unable to replace this cache.
I will at a later date have another go at placing a cache in my local area.
Thanks for those that did venture down to this my first cache.
Thanks also for Geo-brother, niece and nephew for giving me my first cache items.

A few cachers' have not been able to find, so until I am able to go and physically check it out, unable to at moment due to surgery, I will leave it as disabled. Ans
Nice hot sunny afternoon finally, love caching in the heat arrived at GZ to find cache within seconds, signed log and replaced. Thanks for placing, its in great condition
Out with Yorsys, collecting a few caches in our local area. On c:geo this looked like it was on the water, but with a terrain rating of 1.5, we figured we would be OK. Ventured down to GZ and headed into another area loved by snakes. Fought our way in and then looked around and soon spotted the cache. We replaced it where we found it, although not sure if it was meant to be there. Woukd only need a bit of rain for it to float away.

This one has been sitting on the map as an unfound for me for a long time now be I just didn't seem to go near it but today I was on my way home from Lysterfield lake and decided to have look for this one as I was passing nearby.
I parked the car and went for a stroll to GZ, I followed the trail in and the cache was easily spotted, the log was signed and I headed back to the car.

This was a pleasant walk on a cool day with the wind blowing across the water. Arriving at GZ it was a quick find of this container which had plenty of Christmas goodies. I didn't have anything suitable so made no exchange.
Thanks to AnsMisty for showing this cool little location and for the cache.

With a family walk round park I had a look for any caches nearby, this one popped up so went for a look, I had a look round and suddenly spotted it but couldn't get to it so I tried from another access and couldn't spot it. I had to go back and try to pinpoint the location again. I managed to get to the spot in the end. Thanks.
We were out and about for lunch, and decided to grab a quick cache, luckily the ground had dried up a little , still got wet shoes at GZ, but cache is still in good condition. Tftc
Found this one after a yummy lunch, it was a relatively easy find for us since we helped find it just over 10 months ago. TFTC
Found this one a few months ago but just realised we had forgotten to log it but we did write in the book. Took a bit of walking around the lake side to side, but it was fun and well hidden. Hope it's okay we took a cute Christmas peg for keeps as memories. Thanks for the cache. T+J
I took a drive down the freeway to Pakenham today to look for a few puzzles I had solved and to take a break from the Pretzel dinosaur puzzles that I am slowly getting through solving.
Finally a reasonable spring day apart from the strong wind but you cant have everything.
On the way home I headed in to this one and managed to get to GZ since the water had subsided with no wet feet. Gee, it's been 2 months since this has been found!
Thanks ansmisty for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

After unsuccessful attempts at two nearby caches, I was determined to go home with a smiley. This cache was the closest so headed over, parked nearby and made my way to GZ. Recent rain meant that the ground was very boggy in places and had to walk carefully.
Once I was at GZ, I could see the cache but before me was a muddy pool of water. The lake level had clearly risen but I wasn't going to let that stop me. Some tentative steps and using nearby branches as balance, made it to the cache with dry feet. SL.
The cache had no natural camo on it and was very obvious to see. Unsure whether it has experienced cache creep or not but left as found. TFTC

Noticed this one last night. Decided to go for a casual stroll ofter breakfast and make this festive one off. TFTC.
Its a find with the geokids. Left a Christmas tb and swap. Been waiting for this one to come back on line to find with the kids.
I couldn't find it! Then my thong came off and I stood on some thorn bush that the council people cut and sprayed all over the place. I'm gonna go back! Hopefully it's still there.
Cache has been fixed up, ready for the next lot of Cache Enthusiasts to find!!! AnsMisty
We were out for a family geocache afternoon when we decided to give this one a go. We found it easily enough but when we picked it up it seemed rather heavy. Opened it up and it was FULL of water.... Literally to the top. Even the zip lock bag with the logbook was full of water. This one might need a bit of TLC and maybe moved to higher grounds. It was probably the massive amounts of rain we had a couple days ago that did it.
Thanks for the cache anyways

Have been told this needs some TLC after some water damage, so will retrieve and dry out as soon as possible.
Sorry, AnsMisty

On a quiet, child free, overcast day, there is nothing better than hunting a few hidden treasures.
Arriving at my car park nearby I made my way to GZ using my phone that no longer points me in the right direction!!!
After a short hunt I 'used my eyes' and spied the treasure. Log signed and I was in my way.

I wasn't coming here but the Freeway traffic was so bad that I looked for the nearest cache! I wasn't sure which side of the lake to be but took a gamble and it paid off. I then took the wrong way in but the right way out after finding an easy hide, thanks AnsMisty.
First one side of the river... Then the other... Then back to the first side... Like a USB... Its always the other other...
Then a lively jaunt through the trees to retrieve Oma's teddy on my Oma's birthday.

Lovely place for a cache. So peaceful with the ducks. Took a TB and left something. TFTC
Out for a walk in the area on this very pleasant day weatherwise. Found this cache, though it's a bit squishy underfoot following recent rain.
Well after a break in caching due to family issues, renovations, work commitments and general business, Slink1 and I managed to get away and do a few - as they say.
So thanks to ansmisty and thanks for the cache. TNLN SL

It seems like such a long time away from caching with renovations, many work commitments and general business over the last 8 months today was a welcome and fun time out. No real plan today merely get out and cache, took a couple of caches to find our groove managing 29 for the arvo.
Many thanks to ansmisty for the time an effort in placing the hides. TNLN TFTC SL

Found it! Decided I needed to find one after work so stopped in the nearby street and walked over to GZ. Took a few moments to spot the cache. I think a few birds making nests here may not be happy with these interruptions!! TFTC SL I didn't know this lake was here!
Nice riding distance from home on a warm night. At GZ the mozzies decedent on my like fresh meat. A well placed hide had me thinking for a minute while the mozzies tried to have a feed. A nice placement for the area and a 2nd TF for me. Congratulations to ansmisty on your first hide.

FTF!! A beautiful spot on this soggy morning. A nice tricky find in a tricky little spot! At first I was thinking I'd have to take a dip, but the gps was spot on. Travel bug taken. Left a bouncy ball. TFTC!!
Can the CO please log that there was a TB inside? TB number is - 17E49M. Then I'll move it along. Thank you!
