Logs
I had just set up camp in Dunedin ready to attend the Mega Event this coming weekend so I looked around to set what caches I could find nearby. No problems with this cache. A nice quick find. TFTC Hall-way
Finally got a hold of this slippery one. Luckily the logbook is waterproof as the inside of the cache is pretty wet. Will try come back with some silica packets. Cheers
Ummm picked the right path, stopped at the right cross roads, circled the right tree to find manky soggy logslips stuffed in ripped dingy minigrip. Chucked in new bagged ritr logslips. Someones cheap date lipstick got chucked. It's not my colour. A rock in the hide was used to hide it properly. tftc
Headed to GZ but after around 20 minutes of searching I knew it wasnt going to be my day. Thanks anyway
Arachnophobia and geocaching are not good friends! So many trees searched Cache log damp. TFTC.
The tree cover took us to the wrong crossroads initially but cache was found in the end. TFTC
spent a decent 20 minutes going around the trees but no success following my cache-less streak. Had a strong feeling it was meant to be in the tree pictured below.
It was so cool to walk in the park. I did not know there were tracks in the bush. Thanks for the cache!
The big mission of today day was to break my record of most finds in 1 day. I started in the morning from Larnach Castle, after spending the night there. Unfortunately, the weather was really bad for part of the day but I persisted nonetheless, going on a geocaching hunt through the wind and rain, on my bike! After going down Highcliff Road into the city, I spent a lot of time in the city centre, ticking off all adventure labs there. Then through the botanical gardens and onto the steepest street in the world, which I managed to ride all the way up in 3 'stints' . To finish off I grabbed some more tradies at the waterfront and just before midnight I called it a night. I'm not sure if I broke the record yet, since I'm only logging all finds at the moment .Btw, sorry to all CO's, I did not manage to actually sign all logs, since my fingers were sometimes so cold, I had no strength to open some tight containers. Rest assured, I actually found all containers and enjoyed the full day hunt a lot! Also sorry for this generic log for all caches, making it a little bit easier for myself, since I found so many. All finds were relatively easy, mostly because of the hints, thanks for that. All DNF's were either taking too much time so I had to move on, or were very probably missing. Many thanks to all CO's for placing and maintaining! FP's rewarded for the ones I especially enjoyed!
In Dunedin for a couple days for sons football tournament. Not a lot of time for caching but managed a couple along the way. A morning run with MrsTG to get the blood flowing before some more of Mr13s games......nice wee gardens, and cool tree's through here. Thanks.
After last night's adventure my friend was asking when we could go find some more so we came to find this one and she managed to spot it before me. TFTC
Could not find it no where seemed to match even with peoples hints and everything dug around and can’t find it !
FOUND IT while leaving didn’t realise the tree we were looking at was the wrong one took us almost 20 minutes and decided to leave
After a lot of wrong turns we found out that me and ChanFam could have just taken a different turn and found it! Tftc
We found it straight away. My family and I were very surprised when we found lipstick in the container Overall great place. GPS like others said was bouncing everywhere Good luck to others!
I had a very early start this morning to find a few more caches before I headed to the airport, so it was very quiet whilst I was walking through the bush. My gps was bouncing about a bit under the tree cover so when I approached GZ I thought about details the CO mentioned along with the hint and found the cache in the first place I looked.
I have DNFed this one several times in the past, but this time I approached from a different direction and came to a different crossroads. Garmin said 7 metres to GZ so I thought that this could be the right spot and so it was. Cache was soon in hand and a slightly damp logbook was eventually persuaded to leave the ziplock bag. I opened the small sheet of paper carefully so as not to tear it as the damp had made it fragile. Anyway, I managed to sign it and replaced everything as it was.
I am very glad that I have eventually found this one, it had been bugging me for years.

Visiting from Wellington for a son's graduation. Out for an evening caching walk. Great spot in these beautiful gardens. TFTC
My first geocache! CJ-Curry and I scoured a couple of different crossroads until we found the right crossroads. We scoured off path for a while and then found it wonderfully hidden.
Coordinates are off, should have stuck with gut feeling first and searched but followed the coordinates, no luck there so back to first spot and found pretty quick. TFTC
Found. Log needs more pages and the ones in it are rather damp and beginning to disintegrate.
Quicker than expected as many options.
Was only 8m from where indicated and matched the title !
