Came this morning from the mega in Dunedin and had lots of time before my flight out of NZFunny, Ive met the CO at the mega, am not sure if he remembers thoughSo thanks again for all your caches you have put out in this beautiful countryTftc
Master 8 thought that this sign would make a great cache spot and we all agreed but we were to busy chatting with the family who came with us to be watching the phone and then once we were past it we realized that Master 8 was right and back tracked - great cache!TFTC
On the road with flossieteacake in Auckland, pounding the pavement of this cool walkway. Thanks for placing all these caches, G_2, love your work! Definitely getting a tad footsore at this point
In Auckland visiting family we were staying at the Ibis airport decided to go for a drive and walk nearby and grab a few caches before heading out for dinner. Thanks for the hides appreciate the effort put in from the COs
No way, not another cache! Maplerosenz went along to retrieve this one. We've been taking it in turns to find them because we like to play fairly!
In Auckland again this weekend with rattll, aiming to reach a significant milestone number of caches to coincide with a significant anniversary for her. After a hold-up to proceedings earlier today (a flat tyre on a campervan is a mission to repair on a Sunday), we finally got underway around Mangere Lagoon and Puketutu. At GZ, tracked down the cache after a short hunt. All in good order. Signed, and returned as found. Tftc!
After waking up this morning to find the campervan had a flat tyre, we spent the rest of the morning organizing AA visits, tow trucks and someone to repair it - such drama for one flat tyre!!!As a result we didn't manage to head out caching until close on 2pm. So we were pretty happy with a haul of 25 caches around the cycle trails here. We'll be back for the others another day. Another straight forward find thanks to the hint. Thanks for setting this up
Having flown in this morning I was slowly making my way north on foot grabbing a few caches. Nice hide. Thanks for the cache.
#764 After locating P1, we were keen to jumP 2 the next. Classic G2 camo here. You'll know it when you see it!
I was heading down from Paihia to the airport to collect my son after his yearlong overseas experience. I'm very excited to see him again. It was also a great chance to collect a bunch of caches for this sudden, one week long souvenir.
This was a quick find. The hint amused me. I ended up with 9 finds out here, 3 dnfs and my AdLab and bonus in Oteha. A solid 15 of the 21 I need for the souvenir.
Thanks for all your caches out here to fill in airport waitimes

Hahahaha love the nose!
Fun find with rustynz, riding around the poo ponds, visiting areas not cycled before

Haha. Love the clue . Nice easy find thanks to it. Doing this with Mr 15 and Miss 9. We all liked this one. TFTC
After two frustrating DNFs we understood this hint and could sign the logbook. Nice done!
Wondered what the hint meant at first then was on to it pretty quick. Thanks for another find for the day. Tftc

Hahaha, am getting the hang of the Glyn hints and titles, doesn't mean it's that quick of a find but this one wasn't bad!

Made the find quite quickly, oh . . . . . Thought I was going to be muggled . . . . but no, nice to meet Mr B & Ms P. TFTC
We met a fellow cacher at this one that had cache in hand so guess you would have to call that the quickest find ever!!
Thanks for placing the cache G--2.

A nice quick find. I liked the hide and the play on words! Fav point from me. Thanks for placing your cache.
I'm in Auckland and I am exploring the region while I am based here. Today was a lovely sunny day, I borrowed by bro's bike and cruised around some of the time. I had a great time.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

We had a plan to tackle a different trail but Keylev couldn't commit a full day. So we decided to clean up this area and hopefully walk away with a decent cache count.
Nice hint. Keylev made a quick find here.

Out and about with laval and B4Dawn stretching our legs on a bike ride and of course picking up some caches along the way the I hadn't yet found.
I remember finding the old one previously so nice to tidy this one up on this trip.
Thanks for the cache.

Thanks for the cache.
Needed to get out and about today, and going bush was not really an option, so headed over to this area as it had been a while since my last visit.....
Parked near by and broke out the bike for a quick ride around the area....

I think it was the original here that gave the FTF hunting party quite a bit of bother, but even though the cache was out in the open a bit away from where I thought it should be (when I felt around at the nosey hinted spot I couldn’t locate it, but then saw it on the ground nearby) it was still a quick find, sign and replace of another nicely camoed G-2 cache. Thanks for hard-nosed cache!
Nice hide here, good to clear this area (for now) and have a row of smilies.
Day 3/3 and a double aspect to this day. First up a trip to Lake Wainamu along with youngest daughter to do the harder of the Earthcaches, taking measurements, coordinate readings and some up and down the dunes. After dropping her back home for her to go to work this afternoon I headed back out to the waterworks over by the airport to redeem some previous DNFs and all. Thanks to all COs for their caches and efforts.
I was out caching for the first 3 days of this week, racking up over 12kms walked on each of the three days, and getting healthy double-figure hauls in the process too. In line with the NZ Geocache Reviewers guidance on what Covid Level 3, Part 1 looks like, geocaching is permitted but not events or any new listings. It seems the NZ Covid website has failed to maintain pace with Lockdown level amendments and changes and is still lumping Geocaching in with Orienteering and other gathering type activities. Nice hide. Coords we’re a bit off but as long as you NO your way around you’ll be fine. Thanks for the hide!
Found the 3 noes and the cache came to hand quickly. Very enjoyable walk on a sunny day.
Out enjoying the coastal path on a wind-less morning. Nice quick find here with helpful hint. TFTC
We found this cache during our holidays, when traveling around Auckland!
Thanks for showing!

Decided to take advantage of the reasonably good weather and head out to complete Puketutu Island. Invited my youngest nephew to join me for some one-on-one caching. I gave him my GPS and let him be our navigator, which he thoroughly enjoyed. All up we located 20 caches, had 3 DNFs and walked 10km.
I read the hint and thought I'd misread it in the bright light, but no that is what I had read. It then clicked that what I had read related to what my nephew had just pointed out. A quick find once in the right spot.

I like this hint for this one, made me laugh! Sent mr 4 in to collect and he made quick work of it, tftc
Amazing construction on this cache. Amazing hint, too. Thanks for the creativity.
#1029. Day 40 of walking the Te Araroa trail and the 28th cache I've found along the way. I had a look for quite a few caches on the way today but I had a fairly tight deadline so I only looked for each one for a minute or so. And I was often interrupted by muggles.
This one though, I found straight away, because the hint really narrowed it down, so hooray, I managed to find a cache today without too much effort!
Thank you very much for the cache! [Click here for my Te Araroa blog post from today](http://teararoa.g2.co.nz/2019/11/04/day-40-mount-eden-to-drury/) if you're interested!

Last day in Auckland, but have some hours to kill, so after my morning park run I thought I best get some mor km’s in. Spying a central car park and two loops of cache off I Trott. Thanks for the little adventure.
For my personal challenge of working towards getting my calendar on GC.COM to be at least the same shade of green or darker I need to sign off at least 11 caches today. Today's adventure was to go out to the old Mangere Ooo Ponds to find the required number.
There were a few muggles on the path this morning.
Cheers for the cache.

Loved the walk along the waterway. Tide was low so may try to come back next time when high. Loved the construction of this one. Favourite from us. TFTC
Strange, that the last cacher (007-Kelkheim) hasn't signed most of the logbooks. No sign, but online log? Just if the owner mind. Thanks a lot for the fun today.

Meanwhile this is my third geocaching-trip to Middle-Earth . And I love it! [:X]
Still there are routes and places in this beautiful country that are on the 'discover-me' list and want to be visited and explored. .
But AUCKLAND, the city of sails – my personal pearl [:X] - belongs to the favourite places ever since the first trip and is a steady ‘always’ visiting place !
Day #14 was dedicated to the South of the city . Some pre-solved mysteries and a few challenges wanted to be picked up, and also the body wanted to be walked a little , garnished with some caches .
So I happily drove and strolled around some nice places [^]:
Picked up the treasures as they occurred - today not too fortunate, because there were some DNFs.
But the day also rewarded some nice finds .
Just like this one:
I liked this one a lot with the genius camo! I am afraid I lmust eave a favorite point with it. [^]
Thanks to the owner [:X] for placing and maintaining this cache and best regards from Germany!

Haha the hint. Was a bit confused about the last 2 words, until we spotted something at GZ that made it all make sense! Quick find followed. All good here. Tftc
Great hint! Didn't have to think long about it (once at the GZ) but I can see how it could stump some.... Thanks!
Wandered up and down a bit before finding this nice hide. Thanks for the series and all the different hides G-2. Signed log for 7/7/18 by mistake. Ii didn't have my notebook with me so now cannot quite remember which caches had full logs although there were some. Sorry about that too.
Weekend are coming around very fast got a phone call from our Rotorua & Papamoa Friends to see what we were doing for the weekend,I said we were planning on finishing the Puketutu Island &Otuataua Stonefields,so come on over.Saturday morning put the bikes on away we went.Weather was great.Had a great day.Sign the Log as Team HRP
I sussed out Air New Zealand Grab-a-seats from Palmy to Auckland and return last December, $19.00 each way, & paid with airpoints. Again two weeks later, another good deal for the following day. I headed out this way to find as many as possible in six-and-half hours (and walked past five or six caches on the way). Walked about 18 km's - found 20 caches (and had five DNF's). Weather forecasts for several days had been conflicting - but was very pleasant on the day, great for a long walk. My eyesight at present is not 100% (awaiting cataract procedure), and some caches took longer to locate than they should have. Thanks G_2 for the cache.
Visiting from Dunedin. After breakfast headed out for a walk and geocache or two. Took a few minutes to click on to the significance of the hint. All good here after the lid flew through the fence. Luckily managed to reach it and replace the log securely. Tftc
Dear Cache Owners,
I am a German guy who stays in New Zealand for eight months.
My English is not perfect, so please don't wonder if my log entries sound a bit strange. Thanks!

This evening I made a Little hike together with thegreatauk in this area. We could find a couple of Geocaches while we walked belong the water.
Quick find here!

Continuing along the path and admiring the view we managed to make another quick find here.still impressed though by all your effort g2.
#4769. I have been up in Auckland for week on a field trip and now its almost time to head back south. But not before I manage to squeeze in two half days of geocaching in Auckland. Picked up a rental car late in the afternoon and had 4 hours to grab as many as I could before heading to my sisters place for the night. This area was close to the rental depot and had a bunch of caches that looked interesting. A walk up and down the fenceline soon had me checking out an object of interest, and yes that's the cache. Another cunning hide. Signed the log and replaced the cache as found. Thanks for the cache G--2.
Took a bit of searching wind has gotten up was lucky the log didn’t blow away. TFTC
Enjoying the extra light in the evening with daylight saving and came down after work to look for the caches not yet found on this part of the walkway. Back & forwards a few times to find my last one along this track. All the smileys look good! TFTC
Cache number 3490 and day 100 of my current streak. After dropping my brother at the airport I continued on to clear some of the caches in this area. A lovely spring day and a good day for a little bike ride. I had to walk up and down a few times before I was able to get this one in hand. Thank you for the placement.
Nice bike ride this morning to grab this one to complete the series. Love your work Glyn.
The weather was much better than the forecast which meant I continued on a bit further than my original intentions. A QEF here. TFTC
Making the most of the longer evenings (roll on daylight saving) so out on the bikes to pick up some more caches. TFTC
A short cycle ride along a muddy track. I got very damp socks but had great fun with the hides.
It took a while before I spotted it. Excellent cammo so it gets the favourite point for the series.

Following the trail, followed the hint, and cache soon found. Thanks for all the caches along here
