This was a nice quick one for us today. We need it as we are racing the weather today. Master 9 found this exactually as the hint said. TFTC
On our journey through New Zealand today of course a search in Orewa, but we are overwhelmed by the offer here. Thank you very much to CO for laying this cache. With warm geocache greetings from the Netherlands
We're on our way north and decided to enjoy a leisurely walk to grab some caches after we'd had a coffee and a bit of lunch. We decided to pick this one up before deciding if we should attempt the crocodile island cache or not (which we did do). This one was a lot easier to find!.Thanks for putting this here
Heading north to Whangarei with rattll. Stopped in Orewa for lunch, and to get some caches.A relatively quick find, in the first place looked. All well in the container. Tftc!
Quick find, tftc found whilst doing the estuary walk on this lovely monday morning
We parked near here to attack the nearby part of the walkway. This was our first cache in the area and thankfully it was a nice quick find. Then off to the next one.
Out and about on an adventure with Mrs NZT. Thankfully the rain stopped for us by this time so we were able to dodge out for a quick find and then back on our way. Thanks for the cache.
A caching trip to Puhoi and surrounds this morning and when we reached Orewa coffee and morning tea were the first order of the day. After checking out a nearby pet shop and doing an adlab way point we headed to the next adlab waypoint on the walkway, via this cache. We didn't want to do the whole walk as it was too hot and we decided that the walkway should be a bike ride on another day. Found the cache quickly and were on our way. TFTC!
We were looking for a way to crocodile island but the tide is still too high. Quick find here after a coffee stop. TFTC
Looked for this 2 years ago, was walking past and thought we’d have another look. Finally found it! TFTC
Found it on a scooter trip around the estuary with the yunguns. Cache was sitting in plain view so we hid it a little better
I came to New Zealand with my wife on honeymoon
It is hard to log all the caches, I found here in New Zealand, so excuse my mass log for caches around Orewa, please
At first i started with caches around Estuary Cycleway, then to Red Beach, Hatfield´s Beach, Millwater and Silverdale. Some of the caches are now disabled as i can see, and some of them were disabled, but were on place.
After consulting with owner I made maintanance on some of disabled and missing caches.
I found many really nice caches...it was awesome, but i think, that some of them (for example Bison caches) have too low D/T combos...but owners are really helpful, so I managed to find each of them. I usually borrowed bike from my brother in law and then in the early morning, or in evening went geocaching. I really liked that routine. So I´m really thankful for all the caches on/near Estuary
I need to write here, that I really like nature in NZ...its a big difference between Europe :/
So – TFTC, guys, and especially The Wonder Stuff for placing and G-2 for placing and hints...and sry for mistakes in my poor English...have a nice day(s) there and u should come to find some caches here in Slovak Republic

M24: another nice and easy cache for m13 and I to find along the path here today. TFTC.
Up this way today with Mrs Stik-a-crane and junior cacher, who were both entered into a 10km walk around the inlet.....Had to leave home a silly o'clock (5:30am and no FTF in sight either), in order to get a park nearby to unload the wheelchair etc, .....
After the entrants had headed off, was my signal to start searching, knowing I only had just over an hour before the walkers would be at the finish line.....
Cache is in good shape.

Failed to find at first fumble so sent Karma Reprint into the wet shrubbery and he came up with the goods. I enjoyed the sign but we didn't see anyone resembling the person shown. Tftc
A nice quick find. Thanks for placing your cache.
Ms_KR and I are in Auckland Auckland for a break and we are exploring the region while we are based here. Today was damp in the morning and the rain got heavier the later in the day it got. We had a great time despite the weather.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Moments up the track on our bikes. Quickly to hand. Trying to beat the weather.

A small diversion, that is what we could describe most of our caching trips, none ever stick to the plan, always a small or large diversion involved!!
Easy find here with rain threatening above.

Down from Whangarei on a caching mission with Team G0LD today to get some numbers in the general Orewa area.
After a successful detour at Warkworth for a trail of 8 FTF's, we carried on to Orewa proper. Our plan was to do as many around the estuary as possible. Just a short diversion here and a nice quick find, thx to the good hint. TFTC

Team G0LD had planned to cache in Orewa today, get 50 caches and clean up that area. Such a nice surprise to see new caches published just out from Warkworth. We made the short diversion out that way and picked up 8 ftfs as a bonus. What a fantastic way to start the day. Grabbed a couple of other ones enroute to clean areas up before reaching our target area.
We'd back tracked from the last cache on the walkway and moved the car round the estuary some more. We saw some of the same dog walkers we'd seen earlier. A quick find as per the hint, TFTC

Took a small diversion from the trail as per the title, and instantly found this cache nicely tucked away. Some very loud Orewa College students were playing cricket nearby, and it sounded pretty intense. Signed log and replaced as found. TFTC G-2!
A beautiful, sunny day enticed me to head outside on a caching trip where I ended up walking around Orewa, Millwater and Silverdale for 8 hours between 11:30am and 7:30pm! In total I made 40 finds including 30 traditional's and 10 AL's... Thanks very much to all CO's who placed caches around this lovely area!

Not quite as easy to spot as we expected as we approached gz but we managed to find it. TFTC

A quick find for us which is a pleasant surprise, not going well rhis morning. Thanks for great hint and for keeping us 8nterested in the bike ride.
If you have seen this once you have seen em all, a neat place to hide a cache, thanks.
Going past I might as well go the extra 30 metres or so to make the grab. Really good hint so quickly found and signed and on to the next. Doing far better with finds today than we did in Wellington a few days ago. Tftc
We turned our torches off close to GZ so we didn't draw the attention of the neighbors. Hint ensured a quick find and we were soon back on our evening stroll. Thanks for the placement G-2.
There was a Mom, Dad and young son just ahead of me and I gave them a head start up the side track. Alas junior kept looking round as I followed at a distance so was grateful for the bushes for cover. Cache easily located by tactile methods.
A day out today was unexpected as our daughter visiting from Whanganui happened yesterday briefly as she headed up to Whangarei for the weekend with her brother before coming back to spend time with us tomorrow, or Monday for the rest of the week. We decided on a trip out to Orewa and headed along the estuary walkway loop and grabbed a few of the options available there and all was good. Even called in at the hall for a vinyl record sale and picked up an eighties album that I liked. Great weather today though the wind was as strong as could be. T F T C all COs.

I set out this morning with the objective of finding the cache on Crocodile Island so decided to pick up some others on the way round. With high muggle activity I couldn't spend long searching so didn't find the two on the East side of the inlet but after arriving at this one I made a fairly quick find right where the hint indicated. TFTC!
Find number 6553. Decided to do a couple of days caching in the area. With an emphasis to try to clear the Dalmatians. After parking up in Riverhead and riding the bicycle from there. I only got a few done before the batteries on my GPS went flat and when I lost phone coverage I had to change plans. In the end I ended up with 29 caches today and spent the night at Murawai. This is now day 2. Murawai, Dalmations and then onto Orewa for the night. Another 50 caches done.
After checking in at the campground I decided to cycle this trail and collect the caches along the way. I suspected cache had gone when I got to GZ but it was not the hide. Cache all good.Thank you for the placement.

Yep, this one diverted me away from the main trail but not too far and away from all the walkers on the trail. Nice quick find. TFTC
Decided to take the opportunity to collect a few caches around this part of Auckland as the weather was forecast'd to be excellent and clear, and I had not been up here for a very long time. An advantage was also that it gave me an opportunity to go for a bit of a bike ride once the sun came up.
Started out the day in the dark and still managed to make it home by mid afternoon so all in all not such a bad day to be had in the sun.
Back over to the Orewa side of the basin to clear out a few before heading off once again. All quiet in the area.
A big thanks to all the Co's whom have taken the time and effort to maintain the caches.
thanks for the cache, thanks for the placement.
