I found this one a while ago but since they are did the area I don't know if its still there
Used two GPS instruments but location is in the middle of an old bitumen road. No holes/rocks hiding cache. Too good for me
Picked up with YGAT on our way through this morning as she wanted to fill the last blank on her caching calendar for November.
Nice one, thanks flowerfours.
Nice one, thanks flowerfours.
Mr MR found this one while I looked in all the wrong places. Normally it's the other way around . SL TFTC
I'd been for a wander to do the earthcache and continued on up here. The Garmin wanted to be just off the track but a few more metres were needed. Nice to see such a clean environment. Thanks flowerfours.
Now the rain has gone I decided to head further afield for some caches today to keep my streak going, now 7 months without missing a day.
This was a nice creekside reserve.
Everything looked fresh and green after the rain but the track and the bush were surprisingly dry.
A local dog barked instructions as I neared GZ, although I couldn't see him. The co-ordinates were spot on and the cache was found in a likely spot but away from muggle eyes, not that there were any as the track doesn't look very well used.

Nice easy windy find found underneath pile of sticks near a big tree left it there
Found in the wee hours of the morning. Thought I'll log it now .. when I have time. It took me 20min or so to find.
Co ords 10m off.
Aim for a big tree.
And I camo with a pile of sticks all in a row... looks like Eeyores house now.
Log new ish.

Found it very easy. It was just sitting out in the open. Placed it back in the same location. Slightly more covered
Located at 5:51pm. This find garners me my next Planetary souvenir Спасибо! תודה! L’chaim! TFTC!
Cache found before all the neighbourhood dogs gave me away. Cache was out in the open tried to camp with its surrounding environment. TFTC
A nice and easy find whilst out for a walk.
Thank you for the cache

A quick find as the cache was laying on the ground in the open. Not sure where it was supposed to go so we hid it under leaves and sticks next to the tree.

Arriving at GZ and knowing from previous logs that the coordinates were about 10 meters out, the first question was 'in which direction?'.
Spreading out and searching we even ended down towards the creek, but with no success, until suddenly he cache just showed up 'out of nowhere'.

A disastrous morning for me- I can find a 5 difficulty, but not a 1- maybe when I'm in a better frame of mind.
Found with Coybear2000. We were in the area so we decided to try for this one. We arrived at GZ and spent a few minutes looking until we eventually spotted the hide. TFTC.
Out with Trodectus and as in the area, we decided to give this a go. Arrived GZ and started searching, not long before CIH. Log signed and replaced. TFTC
A short stroll down the dirt road to find GZ. Cache was quickly located after a brief search. TNLNSL. TFTC
Today my Dad and I went on a little excursion to find a cache, but it turned out we did three caches instead of just one. TFTC
Mr S went out caching with Little Shoes this morning. A nice easy find (added some more camo as the container was fairly visible). TFTC
#3248 Quickly spotted. Good morning weather for geo-biking today. Many thanks to the cache owner **flowerfours** for establishing and maintaining this cache.
Took a bit for the GPS to settle at this cache. Fine tuned it a bit and started looking around. Suddenly it was spotted and as easily retrieved. It just seemed to stand out too much, but after duties were completed, all was put bsck in the same place, where it was very difficult to hide it properly at all. Hope it stays there. Thank you to flowerfours for placing this cache.
The app was telling me it was in the middle of the path. I thought I would widen the search, but widened it far too much. Came back to GZ and looked about, then spied it in plain view. I'm not sure if it is supposed to be there, but I returned it to where I found it. TFTC
Was pleased to confirm I was on the right side of the creek. Nice easy find. TFTC.
#720 - Looking 4 Cache iPad App
This was the only find for the day. I saw this cache on the map when I visited the area for the nearby EarthCache but decided to leave it for another day. However, today was not great for caching as the local festival was being held at the nearby reserve. I parked well over half a km away from GZ and as I walked up I couldn't determine which side of the creek to be on. As would be expected, I started walking around the wrong side until I brought up the satellite view and realised I should be on the other side. I reached GZ and spied the cache as the camo had fallen away but as I was about to retrieve it a woman walking her dog off-leash walked past and the dog decided it wanted to be friends with me. The woman tried calling the dog back whilst she was still talking on her mobile phone. As the dog was only small, I managed to hold the ring on the harness so the woman could clip the leash on - one handed. After thanking me profusely, she continued her walk which allowed me to grab the cache. SLTNLN. TFTC.

This one was too easy a find. The camo had come off. I rfeplaced the camo, but it will not last long.
Thanks for the cache.
After we left CITO and I was with sevabo and dolphia then we strolled a short while and on a right spot that sevabo found the cache. TFTH
Found on a pleasant Saturday afternoon bike ride down Windsor Rd. Quick find once I found the right GZ, the GPS couldn't quite make up its mind which side of the track I should be on at first. SL TFTC flowerfours!
Easy find. Camo had come off. Fixed. Ready for someones next quick find. TFTC
Well I thought to myself I need a break from everything. So I packed my bags and headed out the door and headed for nsw/Canberra. And the goal was to find some caches along the way so here we are. Thanks for taking me to this location. TFTC.
I believe I've left my pen at Orange, so I'll photo log this one. A nice easy find
Cache number #144 5:00pm. Nice cache it took a while tho as the coordinates were off. Pretty sunset there. TFTC. Go follow me on Instagram @treasure_hunter905
Just moved into the area and so had to get this cache.
Nice little walk along the newly set up creek.

I got rained out last time but I still had a calendar vacancy today so it was OK. I drove right up to GZ the other day but with 6 council workers doing plantings over the watercourse I elected to walk the distance and made an easy find with a clue from a previous log. tried to hide the cache a bit more.

I found the track which allowed me to drive right up to the site. The signal had me in the open where extensive tree/grass plantings had been done (council workers were on the other side of the creek doing the same at this very time. I was about to begin the search when the heavens opened. This one will have to wait.
With a gardener opposite, I had to employ stealth tactics to avoid detection. With my eyes flicking over things, something caught my eye and then the 'aha' moment. Log and cache in great condition, TFTC flowerfours!
A great little find on the way home from school. Our first this year after lots of others proved too tricky. Thanks for keeping it an easy one for the little one
Nice quick & easy find! Had to move on & do some others in the area first as Council / BushCare were working right opposite GZ. Came back a little later & spotted easily. Hope this one doesn't get muggled. TNLNSL / TFTC
Finished work early at Winston Hills and there were no Leap Day events for another four hours and miles away. So I thought I'd go and boost my 29 Feb find count having only found one cache four years ago.
Parked across the way and then encountered the gulch of doom which I had to cross rather than drive all the way around. Not that hard and was soon at GZ making a simple find. Signed and replaced and added some camo to keep it going.
Thanks!

This was trickier than it should have been. I wasn't well prepared and decided to try at the last minute to get a cache for Leap Day. So I loaded the co-ords into a compass app I had on the iPad. It had me jumping all over the place by 50m increments. I was getting close to giving up but persisted and turned up the goods.
Thanks for the cache and souvenir.

Nice little walk in from the road. It didn't take long. Nice creek bass with all the sandstone. TFTC.
With a few logs indicating a creek crossing, was lucky to stumble upon a hidden driveway that avoided any extra terrain rating. Literally a quick park and grab.
Well that was an adventure, I started out on one side, then I had to do an unplanned river crossing (without the bridge - too hot to walk back there again). Soon had a nice CIH. Cute container, nicely hidden. TFTC
I came across from the south side of the park, and had an interesting climb in and out of the creek, my GPSr wanted me a bit north of where I ended up finding it...
OMG!!! How did I missed this the first time?!?! Found immediately once at GZ. TFTC
Streak Day #937 - Have been ill so dave8153 came and picked me up so i could keep my streak alive. Make a quick find in the 2nd place we looked. TFTC
2/2/16. 11:22 AM. Cache #3471. Streak day #590.
1st of 3 - Kings Langley, Lalor Park & Winston Hills
Still trying to catch up on so many new caches published this month; today's bunch were the ones that I still hadn't found from the 15/01 publish, which gets me more or less into line with when I went on holidays up the coast.
Started with this one; parking on Whitby Rd and walking east to GZ. Then a long search amongst several trees, on both sides of the park, with no luck. Hmm, shouldn't be this hard. Phoned a friend and a little confusion between this one and "Lace Up" muddied the waters further until that got cleared up. And then realised what my mistake had been - "beneath" had me fixated on ground level. Still, how'd I miss that? Also I'd say the coords need to be given a slight nudge south. On to "Mould Minefield" next. TFTC.

I found my approach to gz barred by a wide chasm. I had to brave the river to find the treasure. Some large reptiles scuttled about was I took each step. Some slippery stones amongst the racing rover were the only footholds available.
Soon enough the brave hero made the journey and laid claim to the prise.
Then it started to rain as the return journey awaited.
Thanks for the cache.

Well, this morning I put the finishing touches on my new hide - Another Ubiquitous Hide - 01 Fake Rock and sent it for publishing.
Then went out to find a few for myself.
Found three and DNFed one. During the DNF attempt my cache gets published - that was quick. And by the time I was home the First2Find had been claimed. That was even quicker!
END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION
Parked in a familiar spot and made my way to GZ. The iPhone - which had been performing almost flawlessly so far today - pushed me too close to the fence line. Checked a spot but by then the iPhone had shifted to an area I felt more likely.
And so it proved as I quickly spotted the hide - somewhat uncovered.
Took down to the creek to complete signing duties and then back for the replace - with extra camo.

2TF @ 11:50pm and after collecting "Mind the Trolls", and earlier attended a work bonding seafood dinner at Straithfield. Usually would of tried for the FTF but the neat best, suits me.
I spent ages at GZ and I should of looked here first but finally with a torch, had CIH, thanks flowerfour

Parked my car near the start of the track and was greeted by a dozen ducks, I was a bit worried my dogs would chase after them but by the time we got out of the car they had started moving down to the channel for a swim. Got to GZ and all the neighbouring dogs started to let their owners know of our presence, hoping they just assumed I was out walking my dogs and ignored me. After checking one tree I decided to move on to another as the satellite image seemed to indicate another tree, no luck there and went back to the original tree and circled it and discovered where it was hiding.
