Back up in the area with KGD and ABCDF4Hopefully to do this areaThanks to CO for making our day
Up with ABCDF4 and eyespyben trying to clear out this area. While I searched the wrong place the find was made. Thank you for the placement.
A classic cache type which I found at 12:05am after a long day's work, anticipating another big day tomorrow. Love this hide, great spot, hopefully those in the self-contained vans around GZ are all well and truly asleep and took no notice of me. TFTC!
**21,799**Thankfully this was a nice quick find for us as we really need to be heading off back home to the Bay of Plenty. Thanks Auckland, it was a fun short visit - will be back soon to grab some more smilies. TFTC
Took awhile to find but using other peoples comments was able to locate it. TFTC
After a yummy ice cream at Ollies we went for a stroll & found this nice easy cache. Thank you
In Auckland for the day, with rattll, trying to get as many caches as possible before a significant deadline. Thanks to the magic of adlabs, I believe that we got over 60 today. After caching through Cornwall Park and Maungakiekie, our respective device batteries are nearly dead, the charger in the car just isn't keeping up, so this is our last cache of the day as it starts to get dark. A short hunt before rattll makes the find. All well, signed, and returned as found. Tftc!
I am targeting getting to 14,000 finds on my anniversary event in a few weeks time, so I'm on a mission today to gain as many smilies as possible - largely with the help of the bountiful supply of ad labs in Auckland. So matagouri and I left Hamilton nice and early. It didn't take too long to spot the hiding place .Our last cache for today. Thanks for putting this here
Wow this cache had us going crazy, have been many times to try and locate but today it wasnt going to get the best of us and finally there it was thanks for the challenge that now seems so easy.
Our first and possibly only cache of the coast to coast walk. We have come across from Auckland in a hurry to get back before our cruise ship departs. TFTC
Found it with the help of a few clues posted by others. Not quite where I thought it was at first
Quite a busy muggle zone, came back a second time and clicked as to location. It is a bit of a squeeze to get log in especially as muggles were about but successful and scuried away
Spotted on the way home on Tuesday but to many muggles all dressed up scared me off. Quick stop this morning on the way to work.
My first find! It really isnt where youd think it would be, try looking down a hole and you might find it. Thanks
Spent a while looking in the most obvious location then saw a prior comment and immediately changed location. Nice quick find from there
It took me a while to find it especially with the old photos. Hint: it’s in the same coordinates but not where you think
Took a moment to cotton on to exactly where we were looking, but was a fairly easy find once we were in the right spot. First log in the new log book with EKB. TFTC
(DNF) looks as though the port-a-loo placement for adjacent building site may have required some branches being removed from the tree
quick and good find, not too hard or to obvious. Make sure you look well it’s easily camouflaged !
Nice and easy find here, strange as we found a trackable tag tied to the cache but there is no trackable here.
Was out for a group walk but turned up early. So grabbed this cache as it was near by. Tftc
Been past this one a few times but today was the first time no body was passing by. Surprised it was so exposed! Tftc
Took me a couple seconds for my GPS to put me in the right place before I realized I was a little off but good find
I'm gradually adding to my finds in this series. - - - When I join the smilies I guess I'll know exactly where the route goes. Thanks for the hide .
I was passing by and noticed there was bother in this series to grab. I’m certainly not doing it in order, but maybe I’ll eventually get this full series!
Thanks!
Thanks!
Got it - bit of bad timing with locals bringing their bins out, but managed to sign nonetheless! TFTC
#934. This one turned out to be quite the adventure! I found the cache quickly enough, but after I unscrewed it and took it back to the car to sign, the occupants of the house by GZ pulled up in the driveway, and just sat there chatting! They looked at me quite suspiciously, they seemed like they didn't know the cache was there, so I waited for them to either leave or go inside. They didn't.
So I actually had to take the cache with me to my next find, and then come back and return it about fifteen minutes later. I hope nobody was looking for the cache during this time!
Fortunately when I returned the occupants of the house were nowhere to be seen. So I ducked in, replaced the cache, and ran off at full speed!
A warning to future cachers - this is a very exposed location, and you could be muggled at any time!
Today I was on a mission to find the 14 gemstone clues I needed for the third stage of the Mystery at the Museum event. This was the thirteenth one I found tonight. It was a successful night with only 1 DNF out of 17 caches in total! Thanks very much for the cache!
