After months of time offline, sadly it is time for this to be replaced or archived.
Let me know if any help needed replacing this cache, I work nearby and am in the area often.
Cache mechanism has stopped working. Will replace and re-enable after is all working again. Note: The fountain is now not running and the area is infested with mosquitoes - it's all part of the challenge!
Got eaten by mosquitoes but found the cache. Solid hide but the cache needs maintenance
This one might need some maintenance - I did everything required, but could not retrieve the cache container.
WOW, my first cache in Australia, and my first on southern hemisphere! Nice, cute garden, if waterfall will be worked will be wonderfully. Hide is smart and tools me few minutes. Thx4thcache
Lovely little area! Sadly waterfall wasn't running today. Even though I rarely get bitten by mozzies, seems like it might be a feature of this cache! Log was very damp and full - might need maintenance soon. TFTC - Adam & Kahlia
TFTC...and the lovely little oasis. These local tiny spots are so precious to hold on too.

In Sydney for a few days. Chance to keep the streak progressing. Nice location

Found today during a lunch time ride and cache. I found the cache pretty quickly today, with only 1 mozzie bite. Feels good to have gotten this one after a DNF over a year ago. One more blue turned to yellow . TFTC!
Took a bit of looking but eventually spotted the one place we hadn’t looked. Enough tune to be a meal for the mozzies
Find #: 1,983
Companions: None
Muggles: None
Weather: Grey summer morning
Cache condition: Log slightly wet (but writable)
After running the Centennial ParkRun I decided to find some caches. I found a few in the park and then headed here. Parking was a bit problematic, but I eventually found a spot and walked up to the park. The waterfall was unfortunately turned off (although the mozzies were equally unfortunately _not_ turned off). I soon discovered the container and it didn't take too long to get it In Hand. TNLNSL, TFTC

Wow! What a cool little spot...gorgeous. Tho a few too many mozzies for me. Great hide...hint for others...don't be put off by the 3 difficulty rating - is easier than that. It's not a TINY tiny micro. My GPS didn't work brilliantly under the trees but follow the hint + clues in description and just use common sense. I found the cache very early on but didn't realise what I was looking at...duh! Quick hunt then back to where I started. TFTC
Since November 5th I study Englisch at ILSC for 1 month. After the school I walked around and was searching some caches. Here I searched a lot and got many bits from mosquitoes but I found the box on the middle level of the park in a small hole.
Thanks for the cache from Bonn, Germany

Initial attempt didn't work but I was looking in the right place. Hopefully I've put it back the way it should be. The waterproof sheet is full now and so needs replaced. Tftc
Very clever hide, have found only a few like these before but the camo on this one was an A+. Location was beautiful but smelt like a zoo and infested in mosquitoes which seem to love me.

cachem8 I found your cache Hidden Oasis on 20/10/18, 12:04 pm. This is my find 2132 and find # 4 today. Must of looked at the cache a couple of times before realising that was it. Wasn't long before CIH for signing. Thanks for the cache! TNSLLN
TaurusSix and I had a recce of the area quite a while ago. Today we came past to find it. Found quite quickly with some luck.
Thanks cachem8 for bringing me here. It is a great oasis. Hiding places were plentiful and while contemplating where to start I was standing right next to it. TFTC
After a lovely morning walk I saw that I was close to this cache and wanted to explore the oasis. From the hints and previous logs I thought I knew what to expect, and didn’t let the previous DNF put me off (much).
Purely by accident I realised that I had the right equipment with me, so I searched and found the spot. Using my equipment I tried to retrieve the cache, only to realise I was looking at the wrong spot and had now used up all my equipment! Caching is thirsty work too. Alas.
Found the right spot shortly thereafter and improvised. Lovely spot. Lovely cache. Tftc!

Maybe another time... I thnik I did not get the good idea to look at the good spot...
I used the oasis to gain the oasis, all those knocked down tree fern stumps and the garden is looking a little worst for wear. Thanks cachem8
Just add oasis! Unfortunately someone replaced the contents in the wrong order which meant it didn't work the way it should. But an alternative process got it out and log signed. This time replaced the way it should. Truly an oasis! TFTC
DFDC!
Found before entering "Radiance OTS" for a trip around Australia. TFTC! Greetings from Austria, Sigi+Carmen

Had real trouble finding anything resembling a Geocache. After a while if searching and getting too many funny looks from passerby muggles, I abandoned my search
Brilliant find the geokids loved it. Visited the old house nearby maybe the little oasis has to do with that historical place. Clever hide watch out for the natural guard he was a beauty (large spider)
Awesome little urban cache! I had to carry my bike up to safety while I hunted but luckily that didn't take long as the mozzies were hungry! Spotted the cool hide, retrieved, signed, replaced. Cheers!
Definitely one of the coolest hiding spots I have seen! Almost thought I didn’t have it, glad I persevered! TFTC
TFTC we are travelling in your country from the Blue Mountains of Australia. Thank you for going to the effort of hiding this cache. You have shown us aTFTC and goong to the effort of placing it at this location. It is what helps make geocaching an enjoyable activity. Merry Christmas

Busy day. Lunch in the city with fellow retirees and then the FFA Cup final tonight at the football stadium.
Between that a few other things to do, including grabbing a few caches.
Was hoping for four or five in the time I had, but only got three (with two DNFs). And I left some solved puzzles for another day...
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Started the search right near it, didn't spot it, and then went around and up and down for about 15 minutes before I came back for the find.
Nice and surprising spot - and mostly muggle free while I was here.
Completed signing duties and replaced.
Onward!

Last day here in Sydney before travelling back to home. We visited on the spot few days earlier, but then we did not have proper tools with us. Sun was shining in the morning means nice morning walk to the cache. Field puzzle was easily solved with the tool with us. Thank you for the cache and greetings from Finland!
The kids are at Boree Regetta with the scouts. So that can only mean one thing: jump in the train to Kings Cros, grab one of these \"$2 for 30 minutes\" bikes and make the area unsafe for the next couple of hours.
Refreshing the cache page and I had actually the proper location and was able to sign it. TFTC!

Finally on track here and making some finds!! Must have been jetlag! Found in 2 mins, but spent 5 mins at GZ, then took over to bench for 25 more mins....simply could not open the blessed container! Even thought about calling the company on it, to ask how to open it! Pressed the round part, pinched/ pressed the green rectangle, tried pulling apart, just could not open it! Took a photo for CO, would love to know how to open! As always, dipped my gps GC for mileage. Thanks for the fun! Covered up nicely, good hide! For others.... it IS there!
ok, after chatting with the CO, it would appear I found what I thought was a great cache, top of highest rock, top level up! But, not THE cache! So I came back today, my hotel just around the corner....and made the proper find! I still think what I originally found was nastier!
tftc and getting me out. As always, dipped my gps GC for mileage from Vancouver, Canada.

Tftc. Beautiful little oasis to sit and ponder life, if it wasn’t for the damn mozzies. Quick find tod thank goodness to turn our frown upside down.
Cache in position. Have restored cache so you will need some 'hydration' to make the tree show green again

Not only for today but probably for quite a long time (or maybe ever) this will be my last cache in Australia. This one was not found easily and took some time but finally I was successful. Greetings from the Czech Republic and thanks for the cache!

Having found the park, the cache was a bit more challenging. It is clear that someone has been sleeping there overnight, and I needed to avoid the papery area (!!) and the rolled up sleeping mat.
The hiding spot became fairly clear when I sat on one of the benches and looked at the logs and hints. No need for water. TFTC

Nice little park and nice little hide. Really enjoyed finding this hidden away spot and well hidden cache. Found with AHP TFTC
I searched here for about 15 minutes and was about to call it a DNF but had another read of some previous logs and another look around then finally spotted a likely hidey hole. I had to time my approach to avoid the sweeps of a nearby sprinkler, as I retrieved the cache and returned it to its hide, but couldn't avoid copping a bit of hydration. TFTC.
Out for a lunch time jog, hit the GZ and using the description I started my search for a likely candidate. After about five minutes I did notice a likely hide among many and on closer investigation, after a bit of hopping around, I was very pleased to have found the container. Cache was easily extracted, no need for any water. After retreating to a nearby rock I notice a couple of chaps arrive below taking much interest in the pools of water and they soon took a seat. At this time my pen gave up so I was frustratingly trying to mend it and play out some geo moves on the iphone so as not to draw attention. Anyway, the blokes soon moved on, Pen got working and everythng was sorted. Cache replaced as found very snug in its hide. Very clever cachem8, a fav from me. TFTC #410
Apparently not one to attempt after dark. Will try and stop back in the daytime possibly with a tool.

Friday. Mrs SP continued her trip to Sydney today. Now in Sydney.
Found after a bit of searching. It was in the first place I actually looked in but i didn't look far enough. It wasnt lodged in all the way so I could just pull it out. Great hide. Lovely garden too. Amazing how Sydney manages to have lovely little spots like this. Great cache.
This was the 3rd of 4 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***cachem8***, for showing us this place.

What a beautiful place and what an awesome hidden spot. Took me some minutes, I have to learn to read more between the lines
Unfortunately I forgot my pen, but I'll come back!

Previously logged under team account BoogieRogue. Re-logging with my individual account. Great urban camo cache. Luckily there was a cup left by an earlier muggle lying around so retrieving the cache was a breeze. TFTC

Against n another revisit with oldmorty after a dnf. With a generous hint from CO, the little brighter surfaced. TFTC.
At last a smiley for this cache which I have avoided in the past until last Friday when I had a DNF. I did find an upright object with a steel sleeve inside which I persisted in filling up with water to no avail other than drown any critters living there. After messaging the CO over the weekend, today it was a matter of walking up and making a claim. Thanks to the person who left a paper drinking cup in a nearby pond; it meant I didn't have to waste the newly purchased bottle of water from across the road. TFTC and help cachem8.

This cache had eluded me from the day it was published. 3 DNFs I've logged on this. Finally, today I was able to claim a smiley! What better day than IGD!
I was unprepared to find this cache but a little cito helped finding a container that helped me score!
Damn cool hide in a damn cool spot!

Searched for about thirty mins in the wind but no luck today. Time to move onto Beare Park cache.
I beamed in on this one like a little homing pigeon... and was confronted with a pristine log.. Thank you cachem8 for leading me to this neat hidden oasis.
When tree stump spotted, game over!! Good one
Note that some clown jammed the log bent double so hard that we nearly could not retrieve the log.
It's so much simpler to just roll it.
Thanks for this tiny oasis and of course the cache.

Stopped off on my way home from work this morning, after a night shift, to have a look at a couple of caches in the Woolloomooloo & Elizabeth Bay areas. This was the 2nd of 2 finds for today.
After finding a nearby puzzle cache, this was to be my next, and final, cache stop. Parked the geomobile in Ithaca Road, then headed up to Onslow Avenue and GZ. The heavy tree cover at the "Oasis" had me wandering all around the place, but the helpful hint had me checking some specific items, where I soon found something promising. And, after carrying out the recommended horticultural remediation procedure, I was soon rewarded with CIH. TNLNSL, and then replaced (reset) as found.
I've seen quiet a few of these types of cache hide, and we actually own one of them ourselves, but this one is very nicely camoed/blended within the natural landscape where it resides. TFTC cachem8.

My nemesis cache avenged. 30 - 1, mosquito scores (back when I tried first time) to my one score (tonight). Great little oasis, clever cache hide. A favourite. TFTC Cachem8
New cache hidden and listing updated. Close by to the original hide, but in a completely different [and much more enjoyable] format.
Cache gone found more reliable spot for future. Making cache now and will update description
UPDATE:
The container will be moved [not very far] to a more reliable and easy spot, but will still incorporate the water at the GZ, but in a different way. This hide will not go missing and will not be as much of a challenge as the previous one.

Mr Ozjeeper is adding his DNF to the ever growing list of unsuccessful searchers.
With no finds for the last seven months, a cache check or archiving of this one is needed.

After referring to the hint, along search of the correct pool failed to find any container. A delightful spot that deserves to have a cache. Thanks Cachem8 for bringing me here.
We saw how many DNFs this one had going back for months and didn't bother looking. Nice garden.
Had a good look around but the cache, if it's still there, eluded us. Really nice spot for a cache though
Had a very good search around the top lake area, especially near the waterfall, no luck.
If co confirms the cache is still here, we will come back when I'm back to Sydney next time.

Came again trying my luck for a second chance, but nothing. Empty handed I left.
Could the CO check if the cache is still there??
Could the CO check if the cache is still there??
Despite the series of DNFs, decided to give this one a good go on my way back to the hotel this morning. Gave it a real good go, got my feet and hands wet, and found no sign anywhere of the cache, even keeping in mind the extra hint by the CO. Suspect it is gone again. Thanks for bringing me to this nice place though!
Given 4 months of DNFs, it might be worthwhile for the CO to check this out again.
Having a 3 year old with me was great cover to go digging around. On the down side it was a little late in the day and quite dark. Will hopefully find time over the next few days to go back for another look in better light.
Interesting hidden location. I had a look in passing but no joy. Perhaps should have searched longer but the raft of dnfs put me off spending too much time here. Thanks anyway.
