Thank you to Mother for informing us of the maintenance requirement. The cache has been removed by a UFO , chased all around the local solar system , and returned with a new log book and case by the starship Enterprise
No luck for me today. I found the camouflage, but not the bit containing the log. I have contacted the CO and sent photographs, but this one is going to need some maintenance. My thanks to Team-Ruphace for placing and maintaining it.
Zyg and I are on our way to Flinders to have a quiet night without the rest of the FamBam. Quick stop, quick find by Zyg
Found after visiting the local craft market... We first attempted from the market but soon realised it was on the other side of the fence.. so after a wander we then drove over to the other side. Thanks for placing for us to find today.
Brings back memories of visiting Caribbean markets as a kid. Still remnants of the old train track. Lots of muggles driving past but it was okay.
Found it! Nice quick find once at GZ!! We were visiting the Caravan and Camping Expo today so we collected this cache too! We tried to walk to GZ but the fence line seemed impenetrable so we ended driving. After signing and replacing the cache to its hiding nook, we noticed a handy gate that would have allowed access to the GZ via the Expo. TFTC SL
Nice camo!I was actually holding it not knowing it was the cache. I was looking under it when geokiddie started laughing and yelling at me TFTC.
Picking up from a local distributor I thought Id scan the area for a cache. Bingo theres one close.Parking a bit of a pain but was soon at GZ for a quick findTFTC
Lovely location but did not think was going to be initially driving into budiness estate. Never seen the lake from this side - beautiful. A quick find at the location. Found on a detour on my way home from work. TFTC
These spacious areas in the dark are very liminal spacey to me. Nice lil hide Tftc
Nice peaceful area on a Saturday evening. 1 spot left on original log however I've put a second one in so when co returns they can just remove the full log. Tftc
It was a nice twilight walk over to this one today for a quick find.
These type of caches are always welcome, third one of this variety I’ve found.
Happy to report that the cache is in good condition and the log nice and dry. Although the log is getting to capacity with only 2 spots left so will need to be replaced soon.

My first for today while targeting this LGA. Rock on.
Thanks for placing the cache Team-Ruphace.

Staying at the nearby hotel for a week visiting family, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to grab this cache on the one sunny day that we have had whilst we are here (thanks for the weather Melbourne!). A quick grab, but a gorgeous view. Thanks for bringing me here.
Nice hide.
What a pretty industrial estate. It's a nice change not to see a dirty depressing industrial area.

Seemed like a nice day for caching until Melbourne lived up to its reputation.
Was not sure what to look for as I approached as it was tagged micro so there were a couple of options.
Found quickly signed and replaced. Lovely view from the signing seat.

I'd just spent a small fortune filling up the car so I came across here to cheer myself up. A pretty quick find once at gz.

The gizmo had me bang on for this one. Can’t believe how huge this place is. And at night it’s a good spot for the car hoons.
On the way home from work I decided to get this cache that had been on my radar for quite a while. I have many fond memories of hanging out at the Caribbean Markets growing up, it has changed over the years that's for sure!
While attempting to find the cache the nearby building was undergoing an evacuation which was strange to witness. Especially given the child care centre was also evacuating with all the babies still in their cots! Thankfully everyone looked calm and soon returned inside, leaving me to find the cache while they were preoccupied.
Thanks for the cache!

We rock at this!. We haven't been caching for a while its nice to start with win.
Took us to somewhere new. I had heard adverts for this area but never quite realised where it was. Each time we passed on the Eastlink, we wondered why there would be a Hyette so far from anything. We this cache showed us a whole new area of corporates that make a hotel much needed. TFTC
This location brings back memories for me as Caribbean Rollerama on Ferntree gully Rd was a big part of my life with my sons sport of speed skating taking him all over the world and I being an accredited official of the sport, l also worked at the rink as a floor guard all this about 20 years ago. TFTC.

"I know of a good spot to pull over and have our drive through diners just round the corner, comes with a view over a lake!"
A few eyes were rolling in the car as they realised exactly what I was suggesting.
Thanks Team-Ruphace, that is a good spot and all is well at GZ!

Thanks guys, it’s a cold day during COVID. But this spot brought back memories of the market days with my father.

Swinging by here today was a bit of an exercise in childhood nostalgia. I'm old enough to remember coming to Caribbean Gardens as a small child in the mid-late 70s to take in the attractions (the jungle cruise, "submarine", Japanese gardens, chair lift, etc.) and then in the early 80s used to go to the market with my parents every couple of weeks (dad really loved a market).
Having said that, it's a good 30 years since I've been through the gates - which now appear to be permanently closed due to Covid, so I guess that's the end of an era...
Anyway in terms of the actual cache, coming here on a Saturday afternoon it was possible to find a park closer to GZ than the parking waypoint indicated, though I can see that would not be possible during the week. A short walk later and the camouflaged container (a type I'm very familiar with by now) was quickly spotted.
Signed the log, visited a trackable (too big to leave here). Thanks for the cache and the side-order of nostalgia, Team-Ruphace.

This is one of those areas that looks nice on the map, but is entirely disappointing in real life. A bunch of modern office buildings (which do make decent photographic subjects in all their starkness) and a lake that is fenced-off with lots of 'no trespassing' signs.
Despite this, I enjoyed my little stop and walk here to find the nicely placed cache - and definitely appreciate the CO's efforts in placing and maintaining it (speaking of which, the log is pretty much full). TFTC

At last the four reasons for leaving home have been lifted and we are allowed to travel in a 25km radius of home so we mad the most of it by coming out to grab some labs and of course grab anything else that was near by.
We have visited this area many times over it's existance but didn't realise that this was a water sking lake nor of the near tragedy that happened here. It was a very pleasant area here today
that had been freshly mowed and the lake was glistening in the sunshie and the two of us are really enjoying being out of lock down. The cache was located but had become quite buried over time and our name was added to the log. We were very happy to score some unloved.
Thanks Team-Ruphace

Out in the local area walking the dog. Tried some local T4.5 caches and realised they’re not for us - at least not yet. So this one was the next closest. Pulled up at GZ die tot he time of year, and was able to walk the short distance to claim this cache. Tftc
Today we found By the Lake on our travels. The Chief made the find in no time.
Thanks Team-Ruphace for being part of our geocaching fun.

Waiting for an overnight delivery we stopped at the service station and decided to stretch our legs and burn off some excess energy
A quick stroll and we soon had the duties done and cache safely hidden away
