This one is sadly no where to be found! It was always a tricky one, even for us to find, but this time it really is gone
I'll check on this on this coming weekend and re-enable if its all in place
A lovely surprise find on our outing. H (5yrs) discovered the cache when frolicking in the field. What a brilliant find! Her younger sister and her were very delighted. This has sparked a new interest and we hope to find new cache/treasure now that we know about it.
Geocaching is not permitted in level 4 and level 3.

This was the last one of a small number of caches we located in this part of town this afternoon. We endeavoured to get to this from the wider track/road initially, but that didn’t work out! Retraced our steps to the City to Sea Walkway which took us there. Great view of Island Bay from one point! Spent a little while looking for the cache amongst the various hint objects. Eventually found it in the hint object which has almost ‘disintegrated’. Not much left for the poor birds there! #2849. TFTC.
It took a while to work out the right hint item but we got there! TFTC nice sunny day to get to 700, this 698
Out for a walk in a park I've never visited before.
A quick find thanks to the great hint.
A nice hide.

I've never been up here before - or even to the surrounding suburbs - so it was good to find a few caches up here. The GPS zeroed out in a suspicious location but after not too long I found the cache within a couple of metres of my initial survey point. A nice tidy cache which made for a great find. TFTC!
I've tried the cache out and replaced the logbook.
Now just one book to sign, no voting required.

Found the cache but inside the box is all wet and the stamp has leaked everywhere. The log paper in the eclipse container is saturated and we're unable to document our find. Needs maintenance. TFTC
Hey, just found this cache. Inside is at and log is not readable or able to be written on. Thanks.
Cache #166.
Had to refer to the hint given, and happy that a couple of hungry friends lead me to a few potential Bunny Hideouts.
A few minutes later I had cache and logbook in hands.
Thanks for the cache.
Took way longer to find a unit I dropped in the long grass in this area at my time of hunting these grounds.
Expect to get soaked feet if rains have recently fallen.
Happy Hunting.

What a lovely day! I took the dinosaur and was marked with red ink by the smiley stamp. It's like a bank security ink trap.
After dnfing two other caches here and walking to the shrine and back I made it here. Some people said I looked lost when finding the track after the water tank. "You okay buddy you look lost!". While signing the log I got muggled by a dog. Yay random dog cuddles!
Nice field, bright and sunny day, great views, I seriously wish I had a picnic here
After taking a load of green waste to the tip I decided to come up here and grab the couple of enabled caches I've still yet to find in Tawa Tawa reserve. Good GPS coordinates led me straight to the cache. Only the one logsheet and no trackable, but everything was in good condition. TFTC
We also found this one today. Nice little reserve. Sherlock Hood and Squirrel.
Out for a bit of a romp round the tracks and hills in this part of the city. Fascinating, my first visit in this area. Really enjoyed it.
Cache was a straightforward find. True to coordinates and the description and hint.
All in order, log signed and then safely re-hidden. I retrieved a TB from this cache (Purple Frog anti Cancer), but no sign of the other 2 trackables listed as being present here.
I visited here with team cacher zboy wonder.

Found at the end of a walk around the reserve, great Su, thanks for placing a few caches here. TFTC
Found it with katee2453
Bit of a walk but was worth it
Big spider on the case though

Came up from the Marae making this a pleasant and relatively gentle stroll. Thanks to the caches up here I am enjoying getting acquainted with this great reserve.
Quite windy up here but not too badly so, however I had to take a little care to make sure the camo cover didn't blow away.
Didn't see a single muggle on the way up, and the only ones I saw on the way down were just as I returned to the Marae road but of course a muggle with his doggle had to turn up just as I arrived at GZ, however they were far enough away not to cause any issues though he probably wandered what on earth I was doing there.
A quick find with good coordinates.
Cache is in excellent condition, the camo is a bit tatty but this means it has taken the weathering and protected the cache.
The listed trackable has not been there for some months, needs to be marked as missing.

Was down in Wellington with Mrs Popmac for a few days. Second day here today and had a few spare hours so came out caching, of course. No problems locating the cache today. Thanks for the cache.
4/3/17 - Started a Geocache adventure today. Aiming for a new personal best of number of caches in a single day. I donned my running gear, grabbed a backpack and got going the weather was awesome this afternoon. Managed to get 20 caches today, a new PB!
As for this cache managed to avoid some of the misleading geo-trails nearby and got to GZ - coords were spot on. Tftc

In town so thought I should try to pick up a few caches on the way back home.
Enjoyed the walk to cache - very low cloud.
Soon found the fun container here.

Nice evening walk close to home, with great views of Island Bay. *TFTC beanadventures #40*
Was targeting the caches in this area as it was a location I hadn't been to before. Looks like the reserve and track get used a lot, especially by dog walkers. *TFTC beanadventures, #9378*
I walk my dog along the Tawa Tawa tracks all the time but I've never been up that track before. I love discovering new places in my local area.
This is an awesome cashe! Definitely in my top 2! Tftc

I am really enjoying a beautiful day's stroll and the quality caches to be found. This was another great idea although its relevance has passed. I hadn't been convinced of the need to change the nation's flag but I am sure there were a couple of very good options in this cache that I hadn't seen before.
#96. Thanks beanadventures for the cache. First time I have ever been up this track! Be nicer in weather like yesterday than today!! Voted for Bunny Peak, or was it Bunny Peak?
Spent too long searching wrong hint object. Found it in the end. Thanks for placing the cache.
Such a cool spot. Picked up the trackable and will help it on its way. Thanks for a very nice cache.
#2389. Another day where I needed a couple of caches. Time to head south for a change and pick up some caches in Island Bay. The mild dry weather was suitable for a walk in Tawatawa Reserve in the evening. Reached the area where the cache was hidden and saw what the hint referred to. Began the search in the torchlight but after checking about three of them I still didn't have the cache. So looked at some recent logs and uploaded the revised coordinates. That got me closer and quickly had the cache in hand. Nice and dry inside its cover. Signed the logbook and swapped trackables. Thanks for hiding the cache here. Some stage I will get to see this park in daylight.
Cache # 3,210 - A brilliant morning, and decided I needed to cache in the morning (which I often do, but not always) as the weather is expected to turn foul this afternoon. A leisurely walk to the GZ with one steep part (worse coming back then getting there), and once I realised what the hint meant it was a matter of finding the correct object. Did after a few minutes search, with it being several metres off the coordinates. All well in the cache. Unfortunately the TB that is supposed to be there is not. Added a TB myself, so at the moment there is one there. TN. Signed log in the best option presented - some interesting choices and neither of the alternative flags I liked from the previous selections were available, but still a range anyway. TFTC!

#2278 Chucked my bike in the car this morning with the hope of clearing out this reserve this afternoon. The weather was clouding over by the time I parked up but I figured I'd have a window before the forecast rain set in. Arrived at near-GZ and began the search, took a couple of hint objects before uncovering the cache. Neat idea for a cache! Cast my vote and was back on the bike to collect the next one. TFTC!
A nice cache with a nice and novel twist! Went to the wrong spot first, but a quick find after putting that right. Lots of bunny signs, though I didn't see one till I was leaving the park a bit later. They must drive the dogs crazy!
Goooooo Bunny Peak (even the sun has bunny ears)! Thanks to you + geokids for another cool cache beanadventures!
First cache of the day, nice spot, found after walking back and forth a bit, the gps seemed a bit funny but once we figured out the hint it didn't take long
Easy found. Brought a trackable for a visit. Girlfriend took one for upcoming usa trip
Where's Lazer Kiwi? I was so looking forward to having an opportunity to vote for my real favourite! Great location, great views. TFTC!
I like the work you all put into your caches. All good here and a bonus was spotting a bunny on the way out. Dropped off a TB. TFTC

Needed some exercise after lying in all morning so I set off to Tawatawa reserve do do a loop of all three new caches.
After capturing the flag I ventured up to Bunny paradise but alas, did not see any of the furry bundles of cuteness. I found the cache with no problem and voted with my log entry.
I was always a fan of the Laser Kiwi flag myself, but am pleased with the referendum result. TFTC

Found with TregearP whilst completing another cache nearby.
Of course with the recent referendum complete this cache is almost a sort of time capsule. Had a look through the various log sheets to gain a feel for how this referendum result had turned out. Looked a pretty close run thing but didn't take the time to do an accurate count in the early morning half light.
Nicely done again. All in good order, TNLNSL, TFTC.

Great little walk in the early morning although sadly days are starting to get shorter. TFTC
Didn't realise this was brand new until we opened it and saw an unclaimed 2TF prize, so nice to catch a fresh cache! I think we are about 9TF once we worked out way through the flag sets. Probably our favourite cache contents ever, dropped off some goodies and collected the cute sunglasses. TFTC bean adventures, looking forward to your next one N&co.
Found while out walking the dog. Walked up from the dog park. Initially got a bit confused as to which track I was supposed to be on, but got to GZ eventually. Also struggled with the find for a while, until I read Agcnz' log. I make the cache to be 6m SW of the coordinates. Nicely themed cache and great view. TFTC.
Came for a evening walk armed with a powerful torch and arrived here just as darkness was falling. No joy at where the GPSr was pointing me, but on widening the search it didn't take long to find it at another hint object about 8 metres away. I enjoyed this cache and particularly coming here at this time of day. No bunnies about today though. Signed log, TFTC!
TFTC - decided I needed a bit of a stroll this evening, so headed to this fron the Top of the Tawatawa reserve, certainly a workout for the knees on the way back. Beautiful evening to be up here though, and amazing views. I got to the approx GZ, and then my phone battery died, so I was forced to resort to searching all likely locations in the general area (well that's my excuse anyway). Ironically, just before I put my hand on the box, I heard a Tui Singing! All in excellent condition, TNLNSL. 700 meters car to cache if I end up using this for the Distance to Finds element of the DGSC, otherwise using this for the Fast To Find Option.
A nice spot for a late afternoon stroll. The cache wasn't in the first spot I started looking but wasn't too far away. TFTC

#7490. {FTF} @ 16:00 and first day find. Enjoyed the walk round Tawatawa Reserve this afternoon. Came across a few people on the tracks today, but GZ itself was all quiet when we visited. Found after a short search. The cache was in excellent condition, all nice and dry inside. Loved the creative designs.
