Because of the pandemic, many caches became
unmanageable in the time
needed to race out to them and I have not been able to
justify the time to keep this cache going.
I know you may be sad that this cache,
like many of it’s partners is going, but
sometimes it is an old cache that makes way for a new one.
Until next we meet on the caching trail, have an
extra special time caching. KD.

Continuing our adventures koala chick and makattak, after some searching found this cache. Whilst to find I had to look up, this cache had me feeling earthy ...
Quick find on our ride to exercise during lockdown. So glad to have this cache here to provide interest. Thank you - very much appreciated!
Went on a bit of a wild goose chase, but spotted it in the end. Was just out for a regular lockdown walk, so forgot to bring a pen. I’ll come back and sign the log later
We decided to start the weekend a day early and head off to Melbourne. Mr Dromaniax is doing the Bloody Long Walk on Sunday. That starts at 6.40 am, so trekking from St Leonards to Melbourne was very unattractive at that time of day, staying in Melbourne and catching up with friends and family beforehand much more attractive. I think the time of day (after sunset) helped with the very quick find here. Shiny things glint far more with direct light beams in the dark. The cache was in excellent condition. Thank you for this cache, kangadrew72.
After dropping someone off near the university, I went for a short stroll in the neighbourhood.
Thanks for the cache kangadrew72.

Saw this about 6 months ago when walking the dog, but today I have a pen with me to log it. Nice hide in a busy place, hid in plain sight
Finalf29 and I are visiting the eldest son in Melbourne... well just checked and he lives 80m from a cache!!!! He was pretty nonplussed by this info so left him to finish off some work while we went to have a look. I had just finished reading the hint when Finalf29 declares “there it is”. Wow that was easy... I removed the bottom half and did the signing duties but could not for the life of me see the attached lid. I asked Finalf29 “do you know where it is”... “Yep”... “are you going to tell me?”... “nope”. Well let’s just say that took way too long to refind it... and only after I sighed “it was just up here” did I spot it again. Finalf29 can be a real cheeky bugger sometimes! Favourite point from for such a memorable urban cache. Thanks
Awesome cache! Beautiful area thank you
We were at the wrong tree at first hehe

Mango mermaid found this one first, very nice hide, enjoyed the search.

Just ducked out on the shuttle to grab this one, I'll scoot past Mercury on a round trip to check it out as well.
Back home again now, picked up this one at the docking station

Came here for the second time while waiting for the first course to arrive from a near bye restaurant! Last time I attempted this cache it was dark but this time we went early while it was light! My brother found it easily as soon as I read out the hint! Thank you for the Cache!!
One of the easiest finds ever! No clue though, CO might need to check on this. TFTC!
Out with a friend for a walk in the area and popped by the make the quick find. Tftc!
We have a gifted cacher - this is her first time and she spots them so quickly! TFTC
Out this morning with Bunadoorian trying to get codes required for the OSS - The Sun. Cache was found in good condition but the replacement log book is full and there was no code on it. TFTC and for this series kangadrew72.
Love the theme of this! Took us a while to find this one because we didn't know what a bison tube was. Got there in the end!
Found it on the nice afternoon, great opportunity to do something on the 1h outside during this lockdown.
It has been a couple of months since my last trip towards the city. Today we had to drop off Ms frilk nearby for a couple of hours so we decided to hang around and grab a couple of caches.
The GZ was extremely quiet for such a nice day so it was a very quick find. TFTC.

A quick break in my day to find this little gem. Carlton has so many beautiful tree lined streets.

Night time made this a bit harder but succeeded in the end. Loved this one.
After looking at the wrong tree I soon found it. Cheeky little thing nearly hit me in the face.
A nice lunchtime walk as part of my explorations of my new workplace.
While the GPS initially suggested the wrong one, it was not a very persuasive suggestion and I quickly moved on to what proved to be the right one. A little bit of the Dervish was required but the little beastie was spotted soon enough. TFTC

Took a while because we were searching in the wrong tree but it’s a genius hiding spot
