Mirani staying at the caravan parkAn afternoon out caching with Mr Snakepitter, we had wanted to revist Kinchant Dam as we had camped here many years ago. The campground was crowded with campers. We found a few caches here then continued onto Eton.We had logged a DNF here some years ago, glad to be able to cross it off our list. Thanks Van_Diemens_Lad for hiding this cache.
Hi there Van_Diemens_Lad, we found your cache LONG ROAD OUT OF EDEN today. Its day 17 of our geocaching trip to Mackay. Today were going for a drive to Kinchant Dam. If we pass a cache on the way we plan to stop and look for it. We thoroughly enjoyed the walk. Signed and replaced as found. Coordinate Accuracy: We found this cache near where our GPS said we should be looking. Cache Condition: Good. Regards Ian & Penny (Found and logged using Cachly).
TFTC smile 20207 out and about on a lovely sunny day with grandson and great grandchildren Thank you Three Rs for placing this cache LONG ROAD OUT OF EDEN for our enjoyment

Another nice find for Grub62. This cache was found in good condition and deserves the D/T rating it has. TFTC.
bunadoorian and I came here to pick up this cache after trying for another nearby and being Googled to find a parking area. So off we walked from where we parked the car. I found the cache first. TFTC and for bringing us here Three Rs

Surprised to find this sitting out in the open so when I signed it I put it against the post to protect it a bit better. I assume the previous one was in the gaps on the rails. Anyway I signed a log so it is find by me.
Ocw the Bebes. After contacting the CO we replaced the cache as per original so now all good to go.
OCW PelDroedGwin and geodog Peppa
After yesterday’s DNF I reached out to the CO and offered to place a replacement cache (this offer was accepted).
We camped at the hotel across the road and this morning got out the caching kit to create a new one.
A pretty creek here.

Looked in all the wrong spots for this one, but finally set eyes on it. Was surprised that it’s still there with where it is sitting. But I replaced it to where it was.
Have driven over this bridge a million times. Was nice to see the river from a standing view.

On our way to Barcaldine for QOGM 2018 and Caching our way there. Met up with RoddyC and Mrs RoddyC in Rockhampton on Monday and have been heading North slowly before turning west.
Stayed in Carmilla last night and today we head back towards Rockhampton a little bit and started the day at Clareview. A big day and had to back track about 100 kilometers cue to the Sarina Range being closed. So have to go to Nebo the long way via Mackay as RoddyC could not get autogas in Sarina. Oh well, those are the breaks. Tonight we are staying in Moranbah and tomorrow on towards Clermont via a very tour of the coal fields towns.
This took way longer than it should have thanks to walking muggles.

Another clever hide. The 'camo' covering definitely needs replacing at some point as the colour is showing through. SL TFTC
Travelling between Mackay and Moranbah we had a small opportunity to stop for a quick roadside cache. Keen spotting from Jezza_theGeokid and GeoPeacock.
TFTC we'll be back

In the coolness of the early morning,
I took a stroll out of Eton
A quick find once at GZ
A simple,
but clever hide [^]
The CO might want to renew the camo sometime soon as it's starting to peel off

Took note of earlier log and that helped me find it quickly. Great to have an Iphone and pretend to take pics of the surrounding scenery on a busy highway such as this. TFTC!
Out this way for work stopping at a cache or too along the way.
Found it after a bit of a search 13 meters closer to the pub than my zero
Thanks for hiding here

Found in the last place we looked . Eden, Eton... I saw what you did there . Wife did this one while I waited in the car with the kids. She also saw 'one of those horrible hairy spiders' sleeping near the cache. TFTC!

On way into town to visit my eldest kids and had some spare time for this one. Neat hiding spot, relatively easy find with youngest Geoteen.

aint that the truth - feeling pretty exposed on approach to GZ
no shade and nothing to separate you from the continues flow of traffic
thankfully was able to make a quick find and retreat here
grabbing the FTF to boot [^]
