With the day off work it was a 2.30am wakeup in Goulburn to get the partner and our young geoson to the airport for a week long trip to Perth to see some family. The plane flew out at seven so I had a day off and in need of something while in Sydney. So naturally a good handful of caches would do.
Twenty finds and three dnfs while in Sydney and the Shire area today. I had a few trackables that I dropped near Appin today on the scout trails but they got some miles visiting all the caches today.
Not here and with it being like this its time to archive.

I was where the cache is supposed to be BUT it wasn't! Please check and replace cache to avoid future GCer disappointment and disgruntlement!
Was looking for the last one on the eastern side of the shire and then I found that this one has been MIA for six months.
A quick look while at the beach but no luck.
Only read the logs when I got home.

Sorry guys, will replace soon. Just had a geobaby and haven't been able to get out and about.
Absolutely no idea.. there are no clues at all. Had the write spot but looked through every bush and tree and found nothing...
I couldn't resist this one when I was with Martin Cousins. It is his cache after all!

Awe, Awesome, you dedicated a cache just for me?? Couldn't resist going for this then after collected info to WP1 of a multi.
The small island of shrubs was just about invaded of muggles who had completed a 5km run, hmm, after lunch, 31 degrees, mostly sunny. That's crazy, hang on, they would be perfect for geocachers, cause we have that craziness in our blood as well.
Anyway, we made the find, and talked to one of the runners for awhile then departed for our quest for GZ on the beach fitness run, thanks J & M.

A quick find with 'the neighbs'. I don't know how long the cache container will last. TFTC
TFTC,
Spent the afternoon clearing my 5Km radius again.
A great education yet again.
Visited trackables about to depart on an amazing adventure. Feel free to follow it with my key ring TB TB4P4C1

Quick find not too many mufflers around, signed the log and replaced. Thanks to Jax and Magner.
Heading towards the city today for work I stopped by here and with the muggle fitness junkies in full swing I was able to find this one uninterupted.
Thanks
Thanks
Nice little hide. Cute container. Very hot at the beach today. Nice little surfable waves.
A quick find with not a muggle in sight...where are they all? Did the signing and returned the cache. A nicely presented cache. TFTC Jax and Magner.
Having been so close to this one on several occasions recently, finally remembered to pop over and pick it up. Nice easy find here.

An easy find in a lovely part of Cronulla. Son asked to take him for a driving lesson. I said "Yes, as long as I can go caching!". Parked the car, followed my compass and soon had the CIH. Coords were spot on! Good little hid in a potentially very busy area. Nice little container, inside it's own plastic clip lock bag! Details complete in 5 minutes and it's onto continue the lesson. TFTC. #295.
A quick find on a day caching in the local area. A good spot to keep away from the muggles, especially on a day like today. TFTC!

Story goes like this...
I was at work in the city when I saw this one pop up. Darn why do I have to be at work when new Caches are being published. I thought that one of the Shire Cachers would be all over this.
I caught the train home only to be met by thunder, lightning, and rain. Then BLACKOUT....
It was at this time that I thought, what is a guy to do. I remember this cache being published earlier and when I looked at it, the FTF was still available. I headed down to my car, but alas, due to the blackout, my garage door would not open.
At 10pm the power returned and I checked the Cache log. Still available. So I headed on down to the location (15min drive). Yes it was dark, yes it was wet, yes there were Mozzies. But with torch in hand I soon had the CIH. I could not contain my excitement and 'Periscoped' my FTF find. including a little FTF dance. I completed the signing duties before replacing it as t was.
(First time I have seen the actual Cache placed inside a clip lock bag. Normally its just the log.
TFTC Jax & Magner.. This will go down in my long list of night time FTF's.
