Thanks for a great cache. It was a hit with our grandson. Much appreciated.
Fun with goats and a dog!Gets another fav!Signed as The Roos with drobbonz kimmy533 and kiwisteve2. Staying in Maryborough in the Doon Villa SC RV park and exploring the area before heading north. Tftc
Thanks Liz and Bruce. The dogs warned everybody around that we were here. It led us into a big discussion about where we have seen ones like this before. Great hide!!
We arrived at G.Z. and my good wife spent the whole time patting the dogs and talking to the goats. Jackie was having a great time of it. Anyway, back to the cache. I used an old trick to retrieve the cache, and as I got it closer to the top, we realised that there were three frogs living in the tube. It made for a fun time. I replaced the damp log in a better zip tie bag and in another zip tie bag and placed it back as found, including the small frogs. Tftc
Approaching GZ we spotted a likely place where the cache might be hidden. Two beautiful young dogs greeted us on the other side of the fence and were very happy to see us. We had what was required and soon the container was out for signing. All replaced as found and we bid farewell to the dogs. Thanks for the cache Liz and Bruce. Fav from us.
Cache number 5000!!!!! While in Hervey Bay I realised that we were sitting VERY close to 5000. I tentatively caught up on logging, hoping that I hadn't already reached the milestone on some insignificant cache in Brisbane. A sigh of relief when I realised I had 7 to go. So a quick 6 in Hervey Bay this morning while the little turmoils were still asleep. Then MstTT and I made a beeline for this cache on our way back to Brisbane. We were starting to fail and decided to resort to a TOTT rolling around in the car from the packing and moving. The goat was watching us the whole time. Cache log signed and milestone reached on something fun. Thanks Liz and Bruce.
How come I'm always the one that ends up with wet feet, a good fun cache though. TFTC Liz and Bruce
While staying in Maryborough for a few days with my geodog Scruffy , we just had to get out and find a few caches in this very interesting town ...
Interesting fun when there's only 1 person.
Well worth a Fav.

Spending a few days over Easter in Maryborough with Snickersallan and GrannySmith1947 to find some cache up here.
The Toyota Camry sure did some hard yakka this weekend, out of the Forest now and picking up the odd Smilie here and there.
We did have enough water to help us here and a young fellow came out from the shed to check us out, he didn't realise what was happening but now he does.
Certainly seeing a lot of areas I haven't seen before.
Log signed and cache replaced as found. TFTC

With the two main goals of the trip completed, it was time to turn the attention to other caches. I am still a couple of field puzzle caches for the January month challenge back in Brisbane and a quick stop at the servo and we had the required tool to complete this fun cache. Despite have completed a few of them now I still find it a bunch of fun and always guaranteed a giggle when you finish. Log signed and returned. Thanks for the fun!
With time on our hands before this arvo's low tide, we went in search of Maryborough's finest.
A quick audit found we were running low of a substance aboard the limo. So the next problem was finding somewhere to procure some. The ladies were looking for an open servo. I was more focused on the whereabouts of a bottle shop. With many establishments closed for the holiday, a servo was spotted first. I went in and grabbed two x 'one Litre and a Half' just to be sure.
Arriving at GZ we counted the number of obvious discharge points then the number of fingers needed. Luckily we managed to balance this accounting issue and managed to have some surplus to extract the cache. Thanks Liz and Bruce for setting up this stop.

Just a spoonful of sugar l helps the medicine go down! A Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious day with JACS and ARF to finish off the brolly. Grabbed some challenges and other interesting ones on the way. Caught up with chamad and triple turmoil to join in his 15 loop milestone. The extra long pole belonging to ARF was certainly an asset along with his and JACS super sonic vision. Special day indeed. Friends make the world a better place. Let’s go fly a kite!! Bit of fun had at this one! Team work!!!
it’s on the ground flat so we didn’t need any water. Definitely needs maintenance. TFTC
We managed to retrieve the cache, and two rather disgruntled frogs! Signed and replaced the log, but left the frogs to find their own way back, or a safer hiding place.
Day 4 & 5 in Maryborough. We thought we would continue to look around town and spend our time caching here. It didn't quite work out as we thought as there were a number of caches in parks and reserves and we ventured wider as well. A good variety of caches and hides all in generally good condition. We had mixed results on a number of tree fishing attempts. Some we just couldn't spot, others we couldn't reach with our fishing pole. Will have to look at some further modifications when we get home! We did manage to get a couple though!
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Liz and Bruce.

First time visiting this cache was quite a few years ago but wasn't prepared but this time we had the correct item but nothing appeared - we detached cache holder and gave it a few slaps and out came about 10 whitish looking frogs - think they were glad we visited! But still needed a few bumps on the ground for the log container to appear as well as a few more frogs. An interesting find - that was for sure!!!
While up here in Maryborough, we ventured around Maryborough and the countryside. Log was signed as Team JAR (joojoo57, Aussie Liahona and Richmond Lad) . Searched and found cache. Signed log and place back where found. TFTC
As Team JAR we came to do this cache. We had brought the necessary item with us. You could imagine our surprise when before the log container out came about 6 or 7 frogs, some very tiny, one a little bigger and just one the biggest. Next came the log container and following that about 4 or 5 tiny white frogs. It’s one question how did they get in there but another to how have they survived? Are they a white variety or are they camo’d white because the pipe is white? And, if that is so what colour should they be? And what have they been eating?
As for this log, we signed it before replacing the container.
Cheers!

I really enjoyed this field puzzle , seen a few of these now and know the drill on how to accomplish them on your own, lol and without damaging the cache. I am just passing through but needed a cache and this one was it and a fun one. I will add a favourite point to it for sure. Thanks for this one all good with the cache.
Easter in Maryborough. Youngoldfella has returned home and this is our final day before we return home on Tuesday.

Fave given. These are always fun and no matter how many we do, i always am so excited to see the cache and instantly let go... hence i am showered accordingly. Thanks for making us have a laugh on an otherwise shitty day.
Really disappointing to find a couple of empty bottles scattered near the cache, obviously used by cachers. Please take your rubbish with you.
Found it with Mrs GN. Couldn't log it a there's a frog living in there and he was blocking the cache coming to the top. What an awesome cache though, Just shows it pays to do some research before going to one of these caches. TFTC
We're out today on a geocaching tour around Maryborough with this cache being one of our specific targets. We do love a good field puzzle! As noted by the previous logger, there was a frog hiding in there but the addition of the water we carried encouraged him to come out eventually. While D gently held this cute little cache guardian, M managed to sign the log and return it to it's home. We gave the frog every chance to return to his spot too but he wasn't keen and eventually headed off to a nearby clump of grass.

Well, this one was quite an adventure. Having read the description prior to leaving Brisbane, we knew what we would need in order to sort this one.
Arriving at GZ, we were able to park very close by and brought in our supplies.
With two people working together we thought we would have this one covered, but try as we might water flowing everywhere, nothing would budge.
We decided to throw the very last of our water supply to GZ, knowing that we were not too far from a refill in Maryborough, when suddenly, much to our surprise and a slight shriek, a bright green frog jumped out.
Ahhh! So it is you who have been preventing the flotation device from working!
This location and beautiful hide seemed perfect place for this green creature; I think it has now taken ownership of the home here!
Thanks Liz and Bruce. We loved finding this one, but even funnier was finding the inhabitant who we believe has claimed the spot here!
A FP for all the reasons

Found as I meander my way from Adelaide to Cairns.
With no real travel plan and three weeks to get there before I meet up with friends, there has been plenty of opportunity for sightseeing and finding a few selected caches along the way.
The frog is still in residence here and reluctant to let the cache go. But eventually I was able to free it!
Thanks Liz and Bruce for the puzzle and the cache.

Day 3 of our visit to beautiful Maryborough and our plan is to do the inner part of town then work our way around the surrounding areas.
We came prepared for this one but something () had other ideas and was firmly holding the cache down. More liquid and some juggle work we got the little fellow out and with it our prize
That was rather a fun cache and a favourite point from me.

We bought along the correct amount of water and we also encounted the mandatory frog in the outer container. We are not at all sure about how it feels being thrown out of his home frequently. We also had a chat with the property owner, a great bloke. SL TFTC
We poured our water in, but alas no cache hide showed up. So Mr C turned it upside down and tipped it up, woo, look at that a beautiful green tree frog was guarding the cache holder. With overseas travel currently out of the question and state border closures still a lurking as possibilities, my family and some close friends decided that travelling to North Queensland was our best option for a Christmas/New Year escape. Leaving Brisbane this morning, our destination for today was Bundaberg, with a number of caches on our itinerary along the way, including this cache.
My daughter is by no means an enthusiastic participant in geocaching but she has agreed to humor me on this trip. In order to keep things interesting, we have decided on a competition to see who can be the first to spot the most containers each day.
We were happy to split the honours on this one as it was plainly obvious where the cache was hidden here. We had come suitably prepared for the cache retrieval, having stocked up on the requisite supplies at the previous cache. With sufficient supplies and enough hands to prevent any escape, the cache container soon popped its head up and we were able to sign the logbook. TFTC

Tftc Liz and Bruce, had some fun, played with some wildlife, and chatted to the local constabulary.
First cache up today and I knew what had to be done and came prepared. Wandered over to GZ and inspected the construction site and back to the car. Teamwork they said Ha! Delved into my Geo-Mcgyver box of tricks and back to the cache. It took a bit of fiddling but soon had everything working nicely and the cache popped out on cue The real fun was keeping my toes dry as the water squirted out when the cache was replaced
I have a similar cache on my rural boundary fence called Weed ~ Giant Rats Tail. ‘Tho mine is not as evil as yours

Well we found the current resident that is on top of the cache, a green tree frog which we couldn't get out, we have tried this one before but didn't have enough hands....this time we came prepared with plenty of what we needed. Love this cache thanks!
We’ve done a couple of these so knew what to expect and came prepared. Or at least, we left prepared, but as it was such a drinker of a day we drank our supplies. Oops. At least there was a park around the corner that we were able to fill up all available takeaway cups in the car and it made just the perfect amount to complete the task with. Phew! Great teamwork here had us easily obtain the cache. Thanks for the fun!
I've found three or four of these types of caches, so I had an opportunity to show a long-time caching friend one of these. Log is a bit damp
TFTC. After coming out of the Forest having found 19 of the 20 attempted we decided to head back to Bundaberg via Bidwill Road and Teddington Weir. A lovely drive through the Cane Fields. We came prepared with enough water. We have done many of these before so we were prepared. A quick puzzle cache. All in good condition.
Armed with a couple wine bottles filled with H2O we set off to complete this mystery. We had done a similar one at the Red Centre Mega not so long ago so we knew what we were in for. As we were attempting the puzzle we couldn't help think about our youngest son who is a Bassoonist. We retrieved the cache container were about to replace it when a huge Huntsman appeared on the top of the pipe, in my haste to get the cache back in to the pipe I accidentally chopped a leg off the huntsman. I apologized to the huntsman.

Heading home today. Taking the very slow and scenic route. This was on the list for yesterday, but I forgot to bring the correct supplies.
Better prepared today so I made the slight detour from Maryborough. I have done quite a few caches like this, so I was hoping I was suitably equipped. I got everything out and prepared for the solo capture.
Preparations completed I started my retrieval. As expected I needed one addition to my workings, but I was ready with extra supplies at hand. I had three litres of water and only manage to lose a tiny amount so all was good on the second attempt.
Always fun to do this sort of cache, so a favourite point for it.

Roadtripping up to Bundy and beyond with mum, AKA Lennondayz29, and of course doing a bit of caching along the way. Cache selection is being assisted by the fact that I still have the remenents of a J.E.F.F app list from the last time Seff (seffnjarah), Jez, Swellerfungus and I were up this way, and this cache was one of those left unfound from that trip.
We had plenty of water on board, but were keen not to squander more than necessary of our filtered, chilled drinking water (first world problems!) so were very happy, upon pulling up at GZ, to find a nearly full 1.25L bottle very close by. How kind! Plus we get the 10c for the container (we did administer a very cautious sniff test by the way - it did contain water and not some * other * fluid!)
On the way here Ldayz had read Bedmaker's log which warns of a many-legged cache guardian; I'm not really a huge fan of anything that possesses more than 4 legs, so I shone my headlamp inside the receptacle before we started... yup, there he is, squinting balefully back at me. Ldayz isn't too worried by too many legs, it's the slithery, no-legged creatures that she can't abide, so we quickly delegated tasks for the retrieval process, with me staying well out of spidey's way. Thanks for placing this fun cache!

On a road trip from Brisbane heading north with daughter Dez (JezNDez).
Arriving at GZ and having read a previous log which mentioned an eight legged guardian - I was appointed chief cache retriever: as, normally fearless, Dez feels that anything with more than four legs is an affront to humanity, whilst I have similar feeling regarding things that slither.
According we have an agreement - no legs - Dez’s responsibly and more than four legs - Moi!
So with Dez having peered down into the receptacle and seeing many eyes looking back up at her, stood holding the longest stick she could find, and me standing by to grab the cache and hopefully not the spider, we commenced operations.
I nearly missed it, as I briefly looked down to the ground, just as it appeared and only Dez’s shouts alerted me in time to grab it.
This is the first time I have seen this type of cache - so a FP from me. TFTC

We figured out from the cache description that we would need a bit more than a pen to find this cache. We’ve done a few of this type before so like to think we’re always prepared. The bedmobile is well stocked with many and varied different things and the necessary equipment to complete what’s required was on board. We started the retrieval process and at first we thought the container might have been missing as nothing appeared. I gave the bottom a little tap with my foot thinking it might be a bit stuck. This didn’t work so a little heaver tap was given. Suddenly the container appeared and so did a decent size eight legged cache guardian. We guess he must have been holding onto it. He quickly crawled out of the way to a drier area and we were able to add our names to the log.
We enjoyed this one so will give it a favourite point and hope it encourages other to also have a go.

Hi there Liz and Bruce.
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip around Maryborough today. We woke up early and started before the sun in order to beat the heat. We ended up finding a variety of containers hidden along our route.
Would you consider adding a "Field Puzzle" attribute to this cache? We nearly missed it because it didn't show up as a solved puzzle. [?]
All up we found 18 caches & DNF'd 0. Thanks for placing the cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places while we meander around Australia..
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache about 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Nothing.
Regards
Ian & Penny.

A weekend away in Bundaberg accompanied by Dora the Explorer! I had no particular plans, but Dora had a list of caches that she wanted to target. This was the first one on her list, so we detoured here. I read the description as we drove to GZ. Hmmmm....I think I know what we need to do.....and yes, we have what we need! We parked the geomobile and crossed the road to GZ. My prediction of what was required was correct and with a bit of teamwork, it wasn't long before the cache was in hand. With our names added to the log and everything returned to the way we had found it, we continued on our way. TFTC
Another day, another town, as we head south for another full day of fun and adventure.
It would be remiss of us not to do a Liz and Bruce cache as we passed through Maryborough and we thought this would be a perfect one to do.
Once at GZ we collected our H2O from the back and then done an inspection of what was required.
We just had enough flexibility to catapult the logbook into our hands using fingers and even a knee as the water was poured in.
Thanks Liz and Bruce for the fun placement .
Enjoy Brisbane.

Arrived at GZ and tried to find the exit points in the set up. Having two people made it easier, as one used both hands to stop the outflow as much as possible, while the other poured and caught the rising container. This worked well. Dried the hands, signed the log and dropped the container back into the outgoing tide. We like to give this type of setup a favourite point for the construction involved.

I had heard about these caches yet had never seen one until today! This was the seventeenth of twenty-four finds on a mini geocaching holiday with my awesome geopartner WallabyTim. When I realised what we would need I worried a little as I didn't want to waste our bottled water, but then Wallaby reminded me that we had an almost full 60L under the geoLandcruiser! With a little ingenuity from Wallaby in conjunction with the water we soon had the cache in hand with lots of laughs along the way. TFTC
Ekkkkk...... after several weeks of having wet feet, something that doesnt happen back home, I had finally managed to dry my favorite shoes out. Enter this geocache, exit dry shoes. How come I drew the short straw on this fun little cache.
thanks Liz and Bruce.

Love it. Somone had put a couple of small swaps on it that jammed it. Our endoscope camera helped view it. With three people plugging holes and one pooring, we refilled, stuck a stick in and jiggled. Used camera again, jiggled and success.
On our way from Canberra, on to the nt mega.

Great cache, lucky the trailer had 60 litres of water on board cause someone put swaps (photo) on top of the cache we had jammed it all up. We used a few tools and got the said out and had the cache in hand.

My first puzzle cache in Australia. This Canadian had a great time standing beside a cane field T FTC
Had to go to Maryborough today to check on a couple of mine, might as well clear up some green boxes as well.
An easy find @ 1100 this morning. Getting hold of the container is the tricky bit.
Had a great chat with the keeper of the cache while filling up the water bottle, then had a second go with a little more cunning this time.
Well this one cleans out Maryborough, all now. Have to wait for some more to be planted.
All with the cache

We did have fun retrieving this cache with water everywhere but fortunately we had come across this type before so were somewhat prepared and so managed to use only 1 liter of water! This is the best one of its type we have come across and was such a lot of fun. Well planned and implemented cache hide indeed and this is what we have all come to expect from the COs!
TFTC Liz and Bruce - it was much appreciated.
