Its been a while since our last cache. This was a good one for us to get back into the game. Good hiding place and thanks for the hint. That was very helpful.
In town for a roller derby bout at the near by leisure center. Had time to kill before games commenced so enjoyed a fresh morning walking around this lovely creek area. After a bit of search found what I was looking for. Waited for a gap in foot traffic before signing the log and returning the cache to its hidey hole.So much beautiful wildlife to be seen.TFTC
What a beautiful little lane this is. Pilot and I sat and had our lunch under the trees, watching others walking past and enjoying the area. We then strolled along and made the quick find. Thanks for another in this enjoyable series, Legomango9 and Dad.
Spending some time caching around the NSW/ACT southern tablelands with lots of side trips. TFTC. Day 4 of a family trip to Melbourne to attend PAX and other events.Great hide. Spot on for D/T and hint.
Found with WillyWoombat27 while in Eltham for the Side Tracked Day event at Meadmore Junction. Took far longer than it should have and I was about to give up when the persistence of WillyWombat27 finally had the treasure in her hand.Sorry for the late log, forgot about my drafts for the day
Oh! Havent things changed here since I used to cross the predecessor of this bridge nearly 60 years ago? Nearby I came face to face with my first snake. It was almost at waist height to me at the time. We froze until until it retreated then I beat all the others, there were five of us and always the slowest, back to the Main Road! Today the wattles along the creek were in flower adding extra beauty to the scene! The find was quickly found by methodically searching the vicinity according to the great hint.
TwoEms got the D/T rating mixed up and almost made this harder than it ought to be. Our eyes were failing us towards the withered end of dusk, so we checked our phones to turn our light bulbs on. Luckily this time we got the difficultly and terrain the right way around, and that little extra light gave the tail away. Thank you for the cache.
Today Im going caching around the Greensborough and Eltham areas and who knows maybe even further depending on how well I go. Great spot for a cache a few muggles out walking today but managed to catch a break and sign the log. TFTC
Today I walked from Montmorency to Eltham grabbing a couple caches along the way. This was the last cache I picked up for the day before catching the train home. Wasn't where I initially thought it would be but was found quickly after looking at a few spots.
I found it after a bit of a search. It was where I thought it might be but missed interpreted part of the cache. Thanks Legomango9 for placing the cache
We really enjoyed the tail on this one. Thanks Legomango9 for this nicely hidden cache.Chiefton!!!
Late night cache so a little difficult, but nothing a torch couldn't find. No pen but will be back to sign
*Found on the 12 Jun 2023 @ 1:03 pm.*
*Cache find # 14784.*
This one was nearby after I completed the multi, so over I went to GZ and lucky for me, I was able to make a quick find.

New to geocaching. This was our 4th find in the Bridges of Eltham series. Glad the tail rail was a bit more open than some of the others on the bridge. TFTC
Found it! 3,000!! Only a few days ago I needed 51 to reach the next milestone. Having collected almost enough, today I was left with 6 caches to find. However the weather is hot and humid making power trails not the preferred option! So, as we we’re staying at the Eltham B&B for New Year, it was decided the local Adventure Lab was the go as it ended right near a potential find for 3000. After successfully completing the Ad Lab, we had a short walk to GZ and the search commenced! It took a little while and much closer inspection of the various options and I finally spotted the tell-tail tail! Yay! 3,000! That’s 3,000 adventures in some amazing places with great company for many of the them. Thanks for placing the caches and maintaining them for us to find.

Spending a few a few nights in the area for Mega and picking up some ALs and caches.
This was a surprise find as headed to the AL stage nearby.

It is the first time we have heard of International Ice Cream Day, with a day free of commitments we couldn't resist a day of caching in the Eltham area with the promise of a special reward in the afternoon at the International Ice Cream Day event.
Our third bridge today, very clever hide!
Thanks to Legomango9 for placing caches in interesting locations.

I do not recommend coming here at night, way soo many spider for me and my friends to continue to where we thought it was, I'll need to come back during the day
First cache of the day. I love the bridges of Eltham series. I am hoping to complete it today. This pretty purple cache was found quickly and easily.
What a way to end an extended GF long weekend. Weather was beautiful too boot. We have walked and run this trail numerous times. Oh how Eltham has changed. A great spot for a cache and well hidden. Bridges always have so many Nooks and crannies to search.
Our 200th Cache today while waiting to collect our daughter from Eltham High School. I might even change my caching name to celebrate. Why this fascination with anonymity in the caching community? I read the hint and knew where the cache had to be, I was just looking on the wrong side of the path. Thanks.
After DNFing this one back when it was missing it was very pleasing to see it back in action. It was even more pleasing to get the chance to come back here and knock off a few more caches including (hopefully) this one.
My plan indeed started (and ended) well, with this cache providing to be a not difficult find. While it took a bit of loitering to find a gap in the muggle traffic I was soon enough able to start my search. The cache turned out not to be in quite the area I thought, but it wasn't too far away and soon spotted and easily retrieved. Yay.

Now that lockdown is over we are able to carefully return to the outdoors. With some mapping magic we identified another area of overlapping 25kms zones to venture out for a walk and cache.
Having just redeemed cocoa’s loop nearby, I quickly wandered over to find this one. A very clever hide, nicely hidden, and fortunately didn’t take us too long.
Thanks Legomango9 for the cache.

I decided to have a look for this one while out on a late lunchtime escape. With a relatively steady stream of muggles and not too much time at hand, a squiz at the hint focussed my attention and I soon had the stash in hand at 14:10.
Another break in the muggle traffic allowed me to return it to its hidey-hole after signing the log some way away from GZ and then it was time to head back.
TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks Legomango9 and Legomango's Dad.

Finally had the opportunity to replace the cache. This one is a bit skinnier so should be easier to retrieve
I know this one is tricky so the odd DNF was never a cause for alarm. Even a few in a row sometimes isn't a problem.
Turns out this time it is missing. I'll have to bring a replacement

Despite the fact that this bridge is a mere block from our house we never realised there was something hidden here.
Couldn't actually find it. Too many spiders under the bridge

I had a good look for this one, but no success. There didn't seem to be too many options, and those I tried seemed impossible, so there is more than likely something here I'm missing.
I'll put this one on my watch list and will head back if someone else finds it (and hopefully leaves a clue!).

Sneaky and required some wiggling to get out. Nice little bridge but surprisingly busy. Tftc.
Out with ozlsn and a muggle friend. First spotted by our muggle friend while we were being very methodical in our searching. Not the easiest cache to get hold of but all in good condition once we had it in hand. TFTC!
My friend Happy checked the hiding place but missed the cache. Luckily I'd seen a similar style hide before and knew what to check for so I found it fairly quickly.
TFTC.

With the house choirs done and the storm over I still had some time to kill before a meeting with an old work colleague so I headed out for a cache.
After 10 minutes and with the right idea I was giving up. The decided one more look and bingo. Sneaky.
Thanks to Legomango9 for the placement and fun.

A tricky find that had us search almost every one prior to finding it. Retieval was also a challenge as it's a very tight squeeze to get out. Returning was a lot easier.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for this geocacher experience here today. SO many geocache in the area that it would appear we need to make a return trip in the not too distant future.

Quite a cheeky hide. Take note of the terrain rating and you will soon have the cache in hand. Took a bit of work to release the bison from it's hiding spot but log is now signed and returned. TFTC Legomango 9 and Legomango's Dad
Great little hidethat had me searching a lot of possibilities before eventual success. Tftc
I was hunting more stolen gems this afternoon for the Mystery at the Museum adventure. I parked on the other side of Main Rd in Dalton St, crossed the road at the traffic lights and then wandered along the trail to GZ. Not many places to hide a cache at GZ so I quickly spotted the tell-tale signs of the cache. I retrieved the cache between the odd dog-walking muggle and signed the log at 4:35 pm. TNLN. I then rehid the cache as found.
Thanks Legomango9 and Legomango's Dad for the cleverly hidden cache and for bringing me to this beautiful spot over Diamond Creek. I really enjoyed my stroll along the picturesque trail. [^]

Too much Withers is never enough in my book and so I was delighted to have a crack at this one. In no time, the cache was in hand. Thanks legomangos for this hide.
Today it’s Mystery at the Museum. Found your cache today. Legomango9 and Legomango's Dad, thank you so much for placing it.
Accompanied with crank1 for caching day in Plenty Gorge Park to do the Mystery at the Museum. Found it. TFTC
Found @16:30 in surprisingly a short amount of time considering the amount of possible hiding places. The creek below was a lovely trickle as I signed the log. TFTC!
It didn't take too long to find the tail (after reading the clue) but a lot of muggles passed and it was a bit tricky to pull out. But success in the end! TFTC!
This was the last in the series, so very exciting to finish it. A very clever hide. TFTC

With this find we’ve finished the Bridges of Eltham series! This one was definitely my favourite as well - a really clever hide. I would never have known that there are so many bridges in Eltham unless you’d taken us to all of them with this series! TFTC
Great spot! I had no trouble retrieving it but I had a lot of trouble trying to replace it. Finally it slipped back in. TFTC
I found this cache a little difficult to get. It was well thought out though. Well done and TFTC.
