### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###

----------

Hi kangadrew72,

This cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. The cache is being temporarily disabled, so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache can be addressed.

Whilst it is recognized that as a result of the current COVID19 situation, it might not be possible for a Cache Owner to just pop out and check on a cache, we still need to know that you are on top of the issue.

CO's of caches disabled during the current COVID19 crisis will be given some extra time to react. Caches where the cache owner does not currently feel it is safe to maintain will not be archived in the normal time frame, as long as there is some indication from the CO. **Don't let a lack of communication kill this cache.**

#What should you do:-#
- Should the Regional Health and State Government requirements allow it **AND** you feel it safe for you to maintain this cache now, please feel free to do so.

- **Alternatively,** what you need to do is place a Write Note log indicating a date when you expect/hope you might be able to attend to the issue/s.

#Please Note#
When the cache is next checked by a Reviewer, if the issue has not been addressed, or there is no acknowledgment from the CO as requested above, it will be assumed the cache has been abandoned and processed accordingly.

**JUST A HINT:-** In case you are not aware, there is a new Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own. Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD)

Out with the geokid and geodog picking up a few quick caches whilst we were in the area. We didn't spot any trolls and soon had the cache signed and returned. We have also crossed this bridge many times in the past and will now always have a smile on crossing knowing what resides beneath. TFTC kangadrew72

This one has been on the radar for years now and I decided that this morning might be time to turn that 'blip' into a 'blank'. Wink I have to confess to having a squiz at the hint Red Face and armed with that info, I was soon signing the log at 09:25.

TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks kangadrew72.

I have travelled this road so many times but not exactly here. Thank you for the hint - I realised I was on then on the correct path. Cache found and signed. TFTC kangadrew72

Visited two Plenty bridges yesterday, and with some rain around today clambering around beneath another Plenty bridge seemed a good choice for COTD. Not many out and about, although an SUV driver gave me a look of pity as I squatted signing. Pity me? I pity him. Thanks kangadrew

Good hint

Some little dicks at Gz a local helped me move them down to the rover and off the road. Cache is all good.

After leaving Tasmania yesterday and on my journey to South Australia, I had one day to spend in Melbourne before heading to Ballarat for the evening. A few caches were picked out for various reasons but mainly to pick up the remaining LGAs left close to the City. Most of the hides were in good condition and I had a few DNFs

I am currently writing detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to average one hundred words or more in each log. Given that I have found so many GC caches, I have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get my average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that I can strive to attain this challenge. After over 5000 plus caches (which includes all cache finds up and including yesterday), the average log length is just over 70 words. I am now entertaining the possibility that I might be able to achieve my task before the end of next year. It's surprising how much is has increase since doing this.

Great cache, thanks

Got this today it tuck some time to crossed the road but was well worth it to find our first geo in Australia while we are on holiday and staying at my sisters house which is a nice quick walk from this point. The children loved it hoping this is the first of many of the geo’s we are aiming to get while staying here

Out with BoabTree, we parked nearby, avoiding all the cars whizzing by on a busy Friday afternoon. A quick find, thanks kangadrew72

Found after my daughter’s basketball tournament nearby. Nice hide. Thanks CO for bringing me here.

Last month I discovered the existence of " Double Calendar Challenge " cache which requires you to have found at least 2 caches on every calendar day. Although I have completed the basic challenge i.e. 1 cache on every calendar day, I have a number of days where it was only 1...like 16th January...so to complete the challenge I have a number of "caching appointments" to keep or I will put completion off for another 12 months. Oh well, at least it will prompt me to clean up a number of local caches...like this one...that I had never go around to finding.

Thanks kangadrew72 for the cache...a rather straight forward find.

Ducked under while walking home from the station after work, would have looked odd to the muggles walking on the other side being in my suit and rummaging around under a bridge!

22-Dec-17
A big fat lizard was sunbathing near the steps plus loads of pigeons and spiders obviously live under here so I wasn’t hugely keen to get under but read clue and went in for quick find

As sun was going down on this chilly day we parked the car and headed for cache.
After hesitation about spiderwebs and hearing the pigeons settling in for the night we found it. We felt like trollls. Lots of cars passing but on a Sunday no workers yey. Great start to school holiday.

too many muggles around will come back later

26-Feb-17
Last cache on a hot day, we parked nearby only to find we were on the wrong side of the river and the road. So a walk under the bridge and a scramble up to cross over and then we could finally start our search - G' was the eventual finder Smile TFTC

25-Feb-17
Found with Lochb and Quiet1_au. We parked a little away from the cache and found ourselves on the wrong side of the river. Walking around we eventually got to where we needed to be. Once at Gz I soon found the cache. Thanks kangadrew72

Suscoe was in the area this afternoon and so we had a little time to drop by and inspect the trolls a'plenty.
All is still in place and in good condition.
Thanks to kangadrew72 for this cache.
A beaut day for caching.

Found with MrsDorper and 08151605. Wow that creek was running high and fast! MrsDorper is only just beginning and she learned what 'troll' meant today! "Wow! It's a whole new vocabulary to learn." she said. TFTC (All in good condition after all the rain, etc)

In the area for the Anzac Weekend, grabbed this one after dinner and on the way home. Thankfully, it didn't take too long, made easier with the torch.
Thanks kangadrew72 for placing & maintaining the cache for us to find.

Good hiding spot! It took me longer to find the cache than it should have as I overlooked the obvious to start with. Thank you for the hide kangadrew72.

16-Apr-16
Found OK - glad I was on a bike so parking wasn't a problem. Must be one of the busiest bridges in Melbourne

31-Mar-16
Found tonight with grumpy gramps, picking up a few last caches before next week when he returns to the uk. TFTC

20-Mar-16
You don't get much closer to caches than this one but I had a fair walk once I had parked my car. Thanks kangadrew72.

08-Mar-16
Don't often go down this road (the bicycle track is on the other side of the river!) Parked just off the road very close to the cache - which made it fairly easy. Or was I just lucky? Thank you for the hunt.

29-Feb-16
After finishing work I needed a quick find to get a Leap Day cache and this one fit the bill nicely. A short walk with the dog and it was soon found. TFTC.

29-Feb-16
This felt like the sort of place for a hide, and it didn't take to long to find it. Pretty neat how you could be so close to the traffic and yet invisible whilst looking for the cache. TFTC.

11-Feb-16
A nice quick find with geodad on a caching morning.

10-Feb-16
Quick pick while out with 2peasinapod2012,
thanks kangadrew72

09-Feb-16
There was a closer park than that suggested and meant a shorter walk but this troll was very clumsy. Frightened the pigeons. Nevertheless the cache was tracked down at 16:00. TFTC

06-Feb-16
I go past here on the train every day, and never knew it was there. I hate the turn into Gladstone Rd, whether it's me or someone else making it. It's hell on Para Rd traffic flow.
Parked around the corner, then waltzed back. I checked the rocks while Happy checked the bridge structure. Found in a couple of minutes.

TNLN. TFTC.

We were only driving home from Bunnings the other day and I thought to myself that this would be a great place for a cache. I remember coming here quite a bit in my younger days as we had friends that lived nearby. Back then I always loved how quite it was down in this area even though there is a busy road very close. We parked in the recommended spot and made a quick find soon after. Thanks Kangadrew for another great cache and for bringing back some of my childhood memories.

27-Jan-16
On my way back home from a meeting at work I decided to drop past and pick up this cache. After finding the cache I spent some time examining the graffiti under the bridge but I did not feel inclined to pick up one of the discarded spray cans and add to the 'art'. Thanks for another smilie on my map.

27-Jan-16
Stopped by on the way home, should have parked army recommended parking, cache found after some trolling, interesting to see a lot if pigeons taking refuge under the bridge , thanks for another smilie Smile

The messages started coming through for new caches at the start of dinner. Half way through this came up and was going to be our first stop. As we were getting ready to head to the car another closer to home came up so that was going to be our FTF

So off there first and although we were first it turns out to be a DNF. After meeting a few like minded caches and a long talk we babe and found this as joint second.

25-Jan-16
After a disappointing DNF which we in time for a FTF it was great to meet some fellow catchers.
Then we were off here for a joint second to find.
Picked up a TB to continue on.

Woohoo joint *FTF* with TinkerTraveller. Will log after dinner.

A short while later...

After a big day out in Yarra Glen (with only a few caches found) Geokids and I were settling in for the evening with Geohubby still at work. Dinner was running late and PJs were on. I saw the notification come through but ignored it as it had already been half an hour and I knew there were a lot of FTF chasers in the area and I was really hungry. I did however note its location being one that TinkerTraveller and I had previously discussed and text her to share this information. I had just put the bowls out to serve dinner when I received a reply encouraging us to all go find it together as so far there had been no logs. I'm easily convinced! A quick change of clothes (what 10 yo wants to be seen in her PJs), the stove turned off, and we raced the 1.5kms to the GZ. Once we were all there, it was a quick find by Geokid#1 around 8pm.

As we stood outside the swimming pool chatting 20 mins later, we received the notification for another new cache in Eltham and decided to race off there too. Sadly that one didn't have the same outcome (other than great meeting new people) and we finally ate dinner at 9:20pm. A little late!

Thanks again for the cache Kangadrew.

Whilst thinking about planning a caching run tomorrow with my great caching buddy Jeckleberryandtedd this cache pops up on email. Being less than a km from home I rang my buddy who agreed to abandon her dinner (hopefully she turned the gas off!) and join the geokids and I on the joint FTF.
Four excited geokids peered under the bridge, and two of them went in to retrieve the cache (@8pm). Dropped in me geoson's Bruce the Bat TB to begin its journey in the big wide world. Jeckleberryandtedd and I had the area near this bridge in mind for a cache of our own but you beat us to it! Thanks Kangadrew for the cache.
