### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUESTED PLEASE** ###

Hi there geelongwrights,
It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is some sort of issue. The recent logs may contain more details about what sort of issues are evident.
The cache has been [**temporarily disabled**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235), so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location, until the issues/s can be addressed.
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days,** so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.
#What you need to do:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache**
- **Place A Write Note Log**
- **Adopt Out or Archive**
Full details for each of the above choices can be found at [**GEOCACHE MAINTENANCE**]( https://wiki.groundspeak.com/display/GEO/Victoria) on the Regional Policies page.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of the above. Well, when the cache is next checked by a Reviewer, if the issue has not been addressed, or there is no acknowledgment as requested above, it will be assumed the cache has been abandoned.
It would be far better if you decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
Thanks for your cooperation,

Found it! Thanks to the previous comments, figured out it was just the piece of paper under a rock with no container left… but that works. Good hiding spot in a nice town so nevertheless TFTC
This cache clearly needs attention. I looked under the bridge and in the surrounding area, but I could only find a log placed under a rock. No container or anything. If this isn't the cache, then it should be removed. Hopefully, the CO can attend to the site and make the corrective measures required.
Camping not too far away. We stopped in to grab a cache. Went all the way when we we really didn’t need to. Cache needs some maintenance as it is currently without a container, just log paper.
We continued today our tour in Victoria, AUS, and thereby searched, found and logged this interesting Traditional-Cache.
The weather was - said in one word – simply best. The good hidden caches and the being on holidays kept us the whole day in a good mood.
The cache had good coordinates, and thus was easy to find. The logbook was okay, and allowed easy logging.
Thanks to geelongwrights for the generation of this nice cache A camping cache (with the proper agenda), for leading us here and for showing us this funny location as well as the ongoing maintenance of this cache.
PS: Please forgive us the uniform log which is needed due to timing problems - if necessary special actions and happenings are there described where they appeared.
Greetings from Germany together with the hope to meet somewhere like event or wood.

Well we found the log which was laying on the ground, no container. Put it in a dryer spot.
Found on our road trip from Melbourne via the Great Ocean Road to Goolwa SA
Found logbook sitting in the open on some rocks, had a look around incase this was a throw down but no luck finding a cache container.

No container here only a logbook in the open.
Placed it in a dry place but will need a new container to hold it.

Weather has not been kind to this geo. Well hidden but defs needs some rain protection
UPDATE: not in a container it’s in a ziplock bag. Good hiding spot! The weather hasn’t been great on our holiday so have enjoyed doing these fun activities
TFTC
We found it very easily as it was exposed, we covered it up so it’s more of a challenge

On the great vic bike ride and noticed this nice easy cache nearby on a brisk early morning. Tftc
Haha, unlike the others; I am not here for the Bike ride, but because… my destination is Wye River, but the road is currently closed, so exploring this area a bit longer! Thanks for the cache!
#2058 2022 Great Vic Bike Ride - Day 5 Colac to Apollo Bay The end of todays ride (and for me this years ride) and having set up camp, decided to pop across the road from our campsite and look for this one. A quick find and very appropriately named considering my circumstance, TNLNSL, TFTC geelongwrights.
TFTC!

We stay3ed overnight in Apollo Bay. Was hoping for a fine day to do some caching before we headed on towards Robe. Sadly not to be. Had to make a quick stop here while it was only drizzling.
An easy find.

My wife and I were making the drive to Port Campbell for the day and thought we would be there in two winks of a twink. Then we saw a shop in Apollo Bay that was advertising the best scallop pies in Australia. That’s a big statement until we read the fine print that said “Along the Great Ocran Road”
So we pulled in for scallop pies at 10am in the morning. In fairness they were the best scallop pies that we had tasted along the Great Ocean road so far. tftc

Tftc.. better weather today.. down for 2 days and thought a few caches could be found. Replaced log into bag. Nice quick find
Enjoyed a quick find on our walk today. The cache was out in the open so we hid it a bit further under the shelter
Fun find..especially with the roadworks going on. Took Dromania tag..left an Aussie flag
Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for the cache!
TFTC. Sinful spottes easily. Roadworks made it challenging and muggles walking. Took a badge, left a flag.
Found it. Roadworks in area and parts fenced off so access from campground side. TFTC
Workers there, but we got permission to search from the non fenced/campsite side. TFTF!
That was a tricky one to get to while the roadworks were happening.
Crossed over into the camp ground and got to it another way.
Thanks

Tftc geelongwrights. Day 4 of 5 in the area and another short window of opportunity to hunt a couple of caches. Fenced off just now for bridge works, but perhaps not from the west. A cool windy day and not the weekend so no problems with prying eyes. Still in good nick.
seventh geocache. bit soggy. had an adventure along the way. thx creator geelongwrights
DNF got less than 6 metres away scaffolding preventing access because of marine and Civil maintenance. With 15Rascal
We stayed in Apollo Bay a few lockdowns ago and this was one that we didn’t get around to finding at the time. We were very close a couple of times but on the wrong side of the river. Today we made a point of looking for and finding this cache. We had just enjoyed a wonderful lunch of fish and chips at the co-op and this one is just around the corner. We pulled up at the. Car park and jumped out of the geomobile and made a b line to where we had worked out the cache was. We were most pleased to find that we were correct and the cache was found. We signed the log book and returned the cache to its hiding spot. The cache is in excellent condition and appears to have safely missed out on the recent high water. Thank you for this cache geelongwrights.
After a week of lockdown in Geelong, with only the opportunity to do lab caches while we were exercising we were lucky enough for restrictions to be eased giving us the chance to head down on holiday to Apollo Bay and get back to the physical caches we enjoy. We stopped right here to have a look at the beach, the first time around we had no luck with this one but coming around the second time... A little more knowledgeable from reading the logs we were able to locate this one much more easily. Thanks for the cache
Found at 11.00am. An enjoyable walk around town.
Plenty of people on the walking track.
