Making our way down to the Brisbane for an event, stopped by to find this cache en-route. I went from the top. Thanks for the cache.
While waiting to pick up my daughter from TAFE I headed here to find this cache now I noticed it was back in action.
There were a couple of kangabunnies in the distance so the cache name was fitting. Luckily I spied the location quickly so I retreated to watch the Roos and sign the log.
Cache restored and I have to actually pick a kid up before she whines about having to wait. tftc

Out for some caching fun with RhoBoCacher, who had found this one previously. Lovely location.

After setting up camp in the showgrounds, we headed out in the afternoon to find a few caches.
This took us to various locations & a good selection of caches found.
Had a travel bug ready to place here as it is listed as a large. This is definately a micro, so was not able to leave it.
Thanks for placing this cache Sj-sarbear

I visited this cache with the first to find champion wombles and co. She noted that the cache was indeed missing so we did the only thing possible.... We replaced the cache Hope this is alright with the CO!?
Thankfully in Spangle I have a whole glovebox full of handy dandy knick knacks. I MacGyver'd up a replacement cache and thanks to wombles we had a log too! I signed the log and then attached the container where the old one used to be.

I think perhaps this one was washed away with the recent flash flooding in the area. Could the owner please check on its location considering the recent fail to finds?
TFTC filling in a little time while waiting to see daughter in hospital manage 2 out of 4 This was the second one I didn't find
Found on a sneaky caching afternoon with Selva Girls...not getting out to do a lot, but every cache counts This one took a bit of searching but eventually made the find. Tftc Sj-sarbear!
An afternoon of caching with stortigirls. We searched and searched without luck, then read the previous logs. Hmmm......Lets try there. A bit of scratching around and the replacement cache was located. We signed the log, rehid the cache and continued on our way. TFTC
We found ourselves not too far away from ground zero today with a few minutes to spare, so of course we had a look to see if there was a cache nearby to find. The cache was easily located and with our name added to the log, we continued on our way.
Thank you Sj-sarbear for having placed the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy.

The caching plan this week was to go and get the Wherigo at Toorbul. Put a few others in as well and yesterday decided that today was the day. Left home at 0430 to beat the eat and the muggles. Parked and walked over and there has been a lot of work at this site and the dirt has all be turned over and watered and there is new concrete and all the sticks and rocks have been raked up and all the trees and bushes have recieved attention as well. I could not find your container. I have left a small throw down container, log only, at the corner of the storm water box and covered with sticks and rocks. If yours is still there let me know and I will go back and find it and remove mine. Looked for about ten minutes. TFTC Sj-sarbear.

Despite the overcast weather we headed out to find a few caches. This one was a quick find for us in an unexpected place. TNLNSL TFTC
Being a new estate there are thankfully no builders on a weekend, just a few house hunters cruising the estate.
Walked to GZ, and made a super quick find. A bit unique, but I suppose it works . Returned as found, awesome park n grab.

This cache was found in good condition, and adds to our total of 2497 smilies. Thanks **Sj-sarbear, JimmyMaverick** for showing us this spot. This log is trackable. Discover our code TGQNRV, and mention where you saw it.

We grabbed this one after doing a few jobs at the Oldies. Couldn't miss out on the Souvenir up for grabs. Nice hide!
Thank you Sj-sarbear for placing this cache.

Walked straight past this one to start with, then came back and thought 'what's that there' and low and behold it was the cache. TFTC Sj-sarbear
Found it while the youngest was at a party at the park nearby. When looking for the hide we also found a snake hiding near the trees. Tftc.
Not quite what I expected and agree with previous finders, hope it survives the next decent wet. TFTC Sj-sarbear
wombles and co and I were able to find a few hours together today
For a while this cache was my only non-smiley in Caboolture, but seeing as there's a few more now, I was glad to sop by and grab it. As we neared GZ, there's really only one spot it could be, and there it was. Hope it survives in the wet. Didn't see any kangaroos today. TFTC, Sj-sarbear.

TFTC. We've been in Australia for a month and found ourselves on our way to Brisbane airport and still in possession of a geocoin that we brought from Hawaii. Your large container and proximity to the M1was much appreciated!
Out and about in the area finding all of those caches I have not found on past visits.
After finding the 'new ones' around Ewen Dam I am now heading south and home.
But it could that all day with all of these caches to find as I zig-zag my way through Caboolture.
Talk about a big dose of cache blindness. 20 mins it took me to find it.
Thanks for the cache.

GeoKid and I found this one on our morning out. Some muggles were working on building a house right next to it. Luckily they looked like they were concentrating on their work. No roos spotted today though. TFTF
No kangaroos but I got what I came for TFTC - be harder to grab once the houses are built and occupied!!
Came up here when no workers out and about. A little rain has made the area slippery, so do take care in accessing this one. Should be fine when not wet.
Okay, did the looking from different angles, and finally saw what I wanted. Then closed in to get to it.
Log and stuff inside are all in good condition, no problems there!
TFTC, and now to go back to the land office to see what size the blocks are... Nice area.

Nice hide. The pen in the cache decided that its time had come so it leaked all over my hands. What a mess. Got rid of the offending item so that there is now no writing instrument in the cache.

This Day in History
Thursday, February 8, 2001. : South Australia adopts the Leafy Seadragon as its marine emblem.
The Leafy seadragon (Phycodurus eques) is a member of the fish family, and related to the seahorse. It is a unique creature with leaf-like appendages which serve very effectively to camouflage the fish from predators, giving it the appearance of seaweed. The effect is enhanced by the animal's green to yellow-brown colouring, which can be altered, depending on stress, diet, location, temperature and other external factors. A quite defenceless creature, the Leafy seadragon averages around 30 cm in length, but is equipped with a number of long sharp spines along the side of its body, believed to be used as defence against attacking fish. It is found primarily through the coastal waters of South Australia, although its range extends as far as Geraldton in Western Australia, and east to Wilson's Promontory in Victoria.
Not all of Australia's states or territories have a marine emblem. However, the leafy seadragon was adopted as the marine emblem of South Australia on 8 February 2001. The year 2005 saw the introduction of the biennial Leafy Seadragon Festival by the District Council of Yankalilla in the southern Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia.

Out this morning after getting a recall for my Toyota airbag inflator, I headed to see about this cache.

Signed the log and returned to hide.

Found this on the day it came out after work. A pleasant walk through the park at sunset, then a quick find, sign, and out of there before the mozzies got me any more.
Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for the cache!
Thanks to Kerry from Slowpuncture for letting me join her on a ftf hunt!
I recently set up emails on my new phone and I'd just sat down for a peaceful coffee when my phone started beeping. I messaged Slowpuncture to see if they were going for any of the new releases and Kerry picked me up along the way.
The cache wasn't quite what we thought it would be, we were about to look for something when I spotted it. It's all about the angle you're looking from with this one.
This area is a flood basin for the King John creek so I hope it lasts. Tftc, tnln today just signed the log

Thursday. Kerry from Slow Puncture was called out on a FTF hunt with Wombles & Co. leaving Luke to continue putting up the garden shed!
Picked up Wendy who was waiting at the pre-arranged co-ordinates, with coffee in hand. We took a wrong turn but got there in the end, we then realised it was in a location we had searched in recently for a different cache. At first we walked right past the cache, but then Wendy called out "there it is!". Yay! Joint *FTF* [xx(] As we were puilling away, another cache appeared. We had beatedn Two Dollar to the find by a couple of minutes.
We share Wombles' concerns about the location for this cache - it may not survive extreme weather.
This was the only cache found on today's trip.
Thanks [Blue]Sj-sarbear[/Blue], for showing us this place.
