Logs
Another quick find. We were worried about this cache when we arrived at GZ and noticed how close the gravel pole was pushed.
Catching up with late logs.We are traveling with Geoturtle 37, Papi4506 & The Drovers to do an assault on Bathurst and surrounds. We solved all the puzzles we could before we left home which was also an enjoyable part of this journey. We had a great time today doing a southerly loop picking up any caches that came up on the map finding all types of cache sizes and hides but unfortunately we have got behind in our logging and are trying to catch up now.We can no longer remember the caches individually so we apologize for the generic log, it's certainly not meant to take anything away from our experience, it's just the old minds just ain't what they used to be.We signed the logs as The Mob.Many thanks for adding this piece to the game board for our enjoyment.
Day 2 of our Bathurst trip with Team Crackers, Geoturtle37 & Papi4506.Today we did a lot of country driving, through nearby towns. The scenery was lovely with the trees turning a multitude of different colours for winter. All puzzles were solved before the trip. This is one of the caches we stopped to find along the way.A quick search and the cache was located, signed and replaced.A favourite point given. Many thanks for placing this cache, Joshwa27, for us and others to find.
With six sets of eyes, this didn't take too long to locate. Thanks for placing the cache for us to find.
Reperio 12:29My travels today took me over towards Bathurst, so I decided to take an extended route and grab some caches along the way. Last one for the day as I had to return back home unexpectedly. Quick search at GZ soon had the cache in hand.Gratias Joshwa27As a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
Doing a tawny feogmouthrelease and thought while in the area let's get it!

The fifth and last day of geocaching with Team Canary, Brewmaker, Noodles21, ziggiau and Rainbow Spirit.
After our recovery day today was the day to tackly Peel Common with many caches in a dense area. It was a lovely 3.5 hour walk along the trails where we picked up many caches, and even managed to find an unpublished cache.
After Peel is was time for lunch and we each went our own way toward the East where I managed to pick up a few more caches.
Logs were signed with the team name BRINTZ. TFTC!

Having just found the COs nearby puzzle cache this was our next cache to search for, which was quickly found once at Ground Zero. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. We were driving TRLT along Mount Horrible Road a few days ago and loved it! Thanks so much for the cache and greetings from Zimbabwe
Our fourth day of caching through NSW had us driving the famous Mount Panorama Circuit before picking up some presolved puzzles and heading east of Bathurst for the Blue Mountains.
And the machinery crashes and bangs as we sign the cache , hopefully they make a find also.
Thanks Joshwa27 for the hide.

I'm staying in Portland for a couple of days and found time for a quick drive in the afternoon sun today to grab a couple of caches in this part of the world. A straightforward find here ... but I got a strange look from a passing car while I was at GZ.
Thanks for placing this cache joshwa27 ... it was good to be able to get 2 smilies from one little detour off the highway.

#1856 I had plans to go somewhere else this morning with the intention of knocking of a few more hide dates & hide months which I had plugged into the GPSr but then the call from alnic39 first for a puzzle to be solved then did I want to come. Always fun with adlib caching. My GPSr came preloaded with caches but they are only trads and the newest logs are from March 2017 so that is much so have to follow alnic39 only a few times did I have coords so I had to follow Al around then at the end had to get a list of the caches we ended up doing.
This was the 27th find for the day. Another cache in the area on the way home may as well get this one too. Getting tired but a nice quick find
We signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for the cacheĀ *joshwa27*

We have had a wonderful time caching around Bathurst and on the back roads, love the rural scenery. This was one of the caches we targetted and found. Thanks to Joshwa27 for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
14840. Found during a tour up around the Bathurst region with minniek.
With a full day available for a caching run for my birthday we headed up towards Bathurst to fill in many gaps and have a great days caching. This was a nice quick drive-by find. Signed the log, replaced the cache, then we were off to the next one.
Thanks to all the CO's for placing the caches !!

I suggested to fitzy_1965 that we should go caching for his birthday. He chose the Bathurst area. So with a list compiled, my only request was to grab some unloved caches so I could finally complete a challenge cache. We managed to fill in a lot of gaps and some previous DNF's.....although I think we ended up with more DNF's for the day
Quick find here today. TFTC

#4296- Is there anything at Napoleon Reef apart from this cache? A nice drive out, but I was expecting a town- didn't see one. Thanks
This cache took some getting to. We found ourselves in two different peoples' driveways and had to beat a hasty retreat. We eventually ended up on the right road and made a quick find. TFTC joshwa.
Out and about on a fine late spring morning on my mighty geodirtbike , catching up on my surrounding area, not too much left now to clear
have been past these caches many times and now found the uurge to find them [^]

Last stop on brief but successful afternoon's hunt. Quick find, took penguins and left a stash of booty. TFTC
We stayed in Bathurst over night , we have been solving puzzles in preparation for out trip. An early start after big breakfast. Good to see good weather after all the rain we been having. After a little search the cache was found. TFTC
Second day of our weekend around Bathurst/Lithgow. Again lots of puzzles and lots of fun. Some tricky and a few DNF as well, but overall very happy with the results. J+J.AU as my caching friend made a big difference, thanks guys for having me along once again!

We drove towards NSW bush lands once again where we visited the Dunedoo Bush Poetry Festival. We have solved many interesting mysteries in preparation of our tour which took us to many beautiful historical places.
We stayed in Bathurst overnight where we looked for a couple of caches also.
We weren't able to find a Clean Up
Australia geocaching event in the area which I think is quite a pity as we as nature loving geocachers should be an example to all the others people.
Thank you
Team sissifalke

On a wander westward for, mostly, the CO's History series of caches - and on a sunny summer's day what else but to do ...
The CO has generously added an additional cache to the area for another road to travel that would most likely be otherwise, sadly, overlooked. A park, and it will be over there ... but it is not. Gee, a few extra steps for the cache and log. Thanks for the cache *JOSHWA27*

We parted company from the canaries after this find. Us towards home (via one last cache) and them to indulge in ice creams in Bathurst. After the challenge of our first find this morning (Yerranderie Peak), this was almost a direct opposite to end the day. Contrast is everything
Thanks

I found this cache near the end of a weekend away with Toriaz and the Canary family. I've logged it a bit out of order because I missed it in my list as I logged and then received a text from Toriaz saying I'd missed it. Which means what I said for the cache History of Napoleon was meant for this log. So it was at this cache we parted company with Canary and his family, not the other. I think I'll just leave the other log as it is and not correct it. I am often praised for the attention to detail and accuracy I exhibit in my logs (I have a commendation from the local history association on my wall, no less!), so this one little lapse will not matter. Thanks Joshwa27 for contributing the bulk of caches on another weekend away.
On the way home from our trip to Yerranderie with Toriaz, bikerbuddy and NickoHeap, we had a lovely lunch in Oberon. We detoured to just outside Bathurst for four new caches.
This was a bonus on the way to the puzzle nearby. A really simple park and grab.

Was going for my 4th *FTF* today and wasn't disappointed. Even though it was rainy and a big electrical storm around I made a quick find and kept the blank log dry as I got wet. Happy to write *FTF* on it and get it back nice and safe.
I did look at the distance between me and the car and the lightening striking around me made it an interesting 40m walk in the open.
