Found it, normally i dont put my hand in empty logs, who knows who will bite you?tftc great view from here
Tftc. Not quite what we expected to find. Lovely walk to get to here with red_ear_slider
Tftc, found fast with Portstevo on our windy hike, seeing some different flora up here, never seen swan river daisies in the wild!
What an opportunity, to go for a walk in the National Park on a beautiful morning and log some caches. Perfect timing to tag along with the CO for any maintenance requirements. Talk about a guaranteed find. Woohoo!!!
BIG hint is in the title. TFTC bobbiesgirl.

Headed out on this trail today hoping to get this trail and a couple of others for our day in town. Well that didnt quite happen. Got to the end cache on this trail and then the rains came. By the time we got back to the car we were both completely drenched and carrying too many critters ( leeches) we didn’t want. Stripped off our shoes and socks back at the car park and began tweezering off all the hitchhikers. Out of all the critters they are my most unliked. Anyway it was quite an adventure so we decided that was it for the day. The other walking trails will have to wait for another day. This cache was a quick find at the big log. TFTC
Big log logged, after scaring a small snake off the trail. Long pants & covered shoes recommended. TFTC.
Had a decoy discussion about drop bera and koalas with some folks here while mystery Sleuth was signing the log. Tftc
This appears to be a popular place today. Lots of people walking the trail as well. Quick find here.

On my way to meet up with geoBuddies to spend the long weekend in SWR. After 5 hours in the car, I was keen to grab some fresh air and a cache or two. After checking out the light house, took the opportunity to do the Smoky Cape Nature Trail thinking I could finish it in an hour. Absolutely loved the walk, but some of the finds were tricky and took a while to find.
Found this one on the ground, so returned it to a spot more fitting with the hint. Log book was quite damp.

Found with nissan 65. Walking from the gaol to lighthouse and return. Thankyou for the cache.
Found with cullum68 while walking from gaol to lighthouse and back. thanks you for the cache
Whilst Dan got ready to do some sort of wombat-thing by pulling up his knee pads, Sue liked the look of a certain piece of camo and immediately found the cache. A nice hide. TFTC
A member of my bush walking club removed this one and I couldn't find it. On the way back from the light house I stopped here and looked again and found it straight away dont you hate that tftc
Gotcha !!!A Fav. Pt. from me today. I enjoy the walk , even though I was on my own. . TFTC
The track continued on to this hiding place which could not be missed, and there are several even bigger ones further in the bush. The GPS could not decide exactly where to send me, but there was really only one area to search. I had a pretty good look all over before seeing a better place to check and there it was, so well hidden. Thanks bobbiesgirl, I did like the way you placed this cache.
We continued on past this cache towards the next one, but unfortunately MrsFish had a small fall over a log as the track deteriorated, and with a couple of nasty falls by her recently we abandoned and headed back to the car.

Too well hidden for this team. We spent 20mins scouring the big tree to no avail. Next time. Thanks K&M
Actually done this one on the way back ,spent twenty minutes on it on the way out then found it in twenty seconds on the way back, sneaky hide TFTC

A day of caching around South West Rocks, targeting caches with a T rating of 2.0 or higher.
This trail was the main attraction for today, a very enjoyable walk which we completed in a tad over 2 hours.
Found the cache quickly as it was in plain sight, should be secured now.
Thanks for the cache

The whole geo-family did the Smoky Cape walk today in beautiful conditions, the kids enjoyed this one more than the beach walk yesterday, probably on account of the lack of soft sand and more shade.... Six caches and back to the car in 3 hours, not bad with our 5yo in tow. We only needed two band-aids, so we'll call it a success! Thanks very much bobbiesgirl - we had a great morning.
The kids dived right in at GZ and Samuel emerged victorious with the cache, it seems to have fallen from it camo, and has been reinstalled....

Missed the obvious and looked in some more adventurous spots before standing back and seeing it. Really enjoying the clear hints and 'no bush bashing' for this series. TFTC bobbiesgirl.
Reperio at 0830.
After spending the night at Trial Bay as a part of the Havoc Incarceration event yesterday, this morning the family got up for some caching fun before the heat kicked in too much. We stopped off at the lighthouse first and then headed down the trail for some caching adventure with the kids. I was surprised how nice this trail was, and that there wasn't much of a gradient along here. Perfect for the kids who just wanted to run along it.

Out with the garbageman and his family walking from gap breach car park to smokey cape lighthouse finding all these caches along the way. TFTC
Out on an afternoon walk with my family and Orrsome’s. we parked on gap beach road at the top of the hill and walked across to the lighthouse and car shuffled to get back. A very easy walk along the ridge line doing it this way great for the kids - and they liked the containers. Some nice views too.
Another fun one. Kids now starting to flag after a few earlier walks. TNLN TFTC

We dropped Bill & Gloria off to walk the trail, they took the wrong track initially & had to make their way up a steep bush bash to get back on track. Mike & I only had to make sure that we were at the designated pick up spot on time.
Bill enjoyed the walk & the different hides & to give each one a favourite point.
Thanks for placing this cache bobbiesgirl

After finding #1 the iPad said #2 was only another 300 metres away, so why not?
I continued on the path which was by now level, following the contour of the mountain and soon arrived at GZ.
There were quite a number of places to look, so a number were searched before finally locating the cache hiding place.
Only another 300metres to #3! But the path winds a bit before getting there and I had already pushed my time with Mrs SKI waiting so I returned to the carpark.
Maybe we can park the car and come in from the other end once all devices are recharged?

Quick walk from Jo Blake and again Geo wife was the one to find a pretty tricky hide. Well done Bobbies Girl and TFTC. Off to the little log
A quick search soon revealed the cache, really loving this walk and looking forward to seeing the light house at the other end after catching brief glimpses of it from a couple of spots along the track.
Time to sign the log..............oh no the pen has slipped out of my shirt pocket and can't be found so took a photo as proof of our visit.

After number 1 I decided to visit number 2 as well. Again, the terrain rating shouldn't be any higher than 2. Thanks for hiding!
