We were in the area, so we swung by to collect this solved puzzleor so I thought. Thankfully, I checked the cache page before getting out of the car and realised we needed to proceed to WP1.Clue noted and GZ calculated, it was a nice quick find.Lovely park elphin. Thanks for bringing us here today.
After running around running some errands today, I found myself in bentleigh at my friends store chatting and picking up some TCG supplies. With myself wanting to beat the school pick up traffic I thought that I would head off early and pick up a local cache before moving on and heading back home. So spotting this one on the map and having a quick read of what was required, I thought to myself... this should not be a problem.Arriving I quickly spotted the nano and the tool needed, and even sooner the cache was in hand! Thanks for the cache and the little adventure!
A lovely day for a walk in the park.. several muggles had the same idea but I was able to find both stages whilst muggle free. A clever little puzzle, thanks Elohim for placing. It looks like the cache has been signed by some muggles as well.
I was out and about on the day of having a go at this one and usually anything that involves a nano, I am not keen on. However, given it was likely just a way point and not necessarily the final cache, I'd give it a go. I parked in a court next to a trail head and made my way to the given coordinates. I suppose if you're familiar with what you're looking for or you simply know what something is when you see it, it helps and the nano was found quickly. I'm not really sure why this is a puzzle cache, to me it's a multi with an infield puzzle but I'm not a reviewer LOL. A bonus cache I'd done a few months ago also included this particular coding system so I was familiar with what to do. Soon I had some final coordinates that looked good and with a mostly deserted park, I was hoping for a quick find. I replaced the nano, headed to GZ and the cache was there in the first place I looked and probably the only place it could be anyway. The camo has certainly faded. Signed and returned. Thanks for bringing me here elphin.
Thought i might give this cache a try while in the area. Everything went smoothly i had the place to myself. Well, so i thought. At GZ, i was in my own little world and didn't see the chap waiting to see if i needed help, lol. Thankfully, it turned out he was a casual cacher, so he knew exactly what I was up to. Doh lol.
Steampunk18 first cache formerly Rosie knows with 22 finds.
Was a fun one with a riddle … Cache is in good order with pencil and logbook intact.. thanks

Out on another of our Sunday caching adventures, we had an early start chasing a few Side Tracked caches all over the place before heading to the Year of the hide 2022 event, after that we concentrated on some Bayside caches.
This is one of the caches found today.
Thanks elphin for the cache.

Out and about with Rebel Acts putting some smiles on the map. Early start to the day but definitely worth it to tick off a few more caches.
Cheers for the cache

Turned up with snivelbert and searched around quite a while at stage one without finding anything. Widened our search but to no avail, so came back to the first spot and there it was on the ground! Pretty sure that is not where it was meant to be so once we had gathered the clue inside, we returned it to a more natural residence. Coordinates and cache were then fairly easily found. TFTC!
While looking at the Whittlesea challenges, the one that interested me was the 20 caches in more than 75 Victorian Local Government Areas. I know I'm a long way from qualifying, never having cached anywhere in Western Victoria. However what surprised me was I had only found 2 geocaches in the Glen Eira LGA.
So for my Friday night caching run, I thought I would try to change that. Boy is this a very busy LGA, not just with cars but sporting activity everywhere.
For some reason I had in my notes that I'd already solved this one. But I hadn't been here and when going to my noted final, nothing was there. As such, I went and quickly found the Nano and got the clue. Then went to the real final and after 1 circle of GZ, found the geocache at 4.40 pm.
Thanks for the cache elphin

We found the container at the first waypoint and quickly spotted what we had and what we needed to do. It was off to the calculated coordinates and perhaps a problem. There were o lot of school children not far from GZ. Apparently an outdoor class. Fortunately we were reasonably sheltered and they seem to be preoccupied. However before completing our find the students seemed to disperse in smaller groups. But in the end all was good and we managed to replace the container without drawing attention to ourselves. Thanks to Elohim for the cache.
I’m currently house sitting in the area, so I took the geodogs for a big walk today to find this one. I’m not too experienced with mystery caches so I was unsure if I had the ‘tools’ to solve this one.
After finding the micro and consulting google, I was able to find the coordinates without too much trouble. The cache was located shortly after. TFTC!! Really enjoyed this solve

I’ve not had to use this tool before, so it was good to discover this for future reference. Both caches were an easy find, and this park is deserted, so I didn’t feel like a weirdo. TFTC
Now that my daily streak has been going for almost 200 days I'm finding my local area is beginning to look a little thin. So last night while logging some other caches I had a look along my route to and from placement and found this one.
Just as I arrived near W1 a friend called, so I took the opportunity to sit on the lovely picnic tables nearby and had a good chat in the cool autumn afternoon. Once the call was finished the hunt began and I must say it was quicker to complete than expected! My phone call took longer haha!
The tool was found and soon the cache was found hidden safe and sound.
Thanks for the cache!

This is the first puzzle of this type that I’ve experienced. Fortunately, CJDenno gave me some help with this. We made our way to GZ and soon had the cache in hand.

Out and about today with PrezDough grabbing a few caches and this one has been on my target list for a while. Fortunately we were driving past the area and it made the perfect opportunity to attack it with glee.
Quickly found stage 1 and I saw the puzzle. PrezDough had never seen this before so I showed him a quick trick on how it’s solved.
With the fresh new target in our sights and not too far away, we quickly made the find and added our monikers.
I visited 5 TB.
The cache, container and log are in excellent condition.

No problems finding the clue but had no idea what to do with it. After some research and adding to my toolkit it was all smooth sailing and the cache was soon in hand. TFTC (and now I know what to do with some other caches I couldn't figure out!)
This was the first time my daughter and I have been Geocaching. We found the nano, very clever, it took us some time but we figured it out and were very excited to find it. We didn't know about what3words so we're perplexed by the clue. Part of the learning experience and lots of fun. Thanks for the effort, youve inspired us to do more and them eventually do our own.

TFTC! Quick and easy find. Happened that we solved similar puzzle earlier today
Well it turns out I didn't understand the tool fully, even after checking the hint. When I did, mind blown, still a rookie when it comes to geocaching I guess. TFTC
We decided to time our lockdown exercise perfectly aligned with the downpour. Fortunately the final coordinates gave us some shelter for a bit.
I found this cache today on my Caulfield to Bentleigh Labs+ Adventure. I had looked at this one a number of times before today, wondering what it could be. Once I saw WP1, I was happy to find that I knew exactly what was required and the cache was soon in hand. Thanks from D B-A

Love a cache well hidden with quick grab potential - as this one was. Luckily I’ve been doing some puzzle caches during lockdown so I actually new what this was! TFTC
We’d had a message from BeckNmonts and her sidekick Mr Manfred “did we want to do a few multi’s?”....with the alternative being sitting at home in front of the cricket it was a no brainer. We both threw on some shoes and we were out the door. Having completed a couple of multis we noticed this one was nearby....yes we have started this one before and on more than one occasion the playground & park has been super busy & we have pulled the pin. We thought we’d stick our nose in today to see if we could finally finish the job and Lo and behold the park was completely deserted! In no time we had worked through what we needed to do and the cache was very quickly in hand!
I headed out with Earthbound Chief today as we had an impromptu catch up at my (and Manfreds) second cache for the day. Manfred was able to sniff many cache containers in his training to the the worlds best geocache sniffing geodog. He is definitely in the learning stage. He was able to check out a few containers doing this one! Thanks for placing the cache elphin
Cool. This was a great mystery cache. Took some tools and google, but got there in the end. Thanks for the cache.
On my way home with geo kid FoxyLoxy and decided we would stop here on the way. Being a grumpy hungry teenager, it was best she stay in the car and I would go to find this one alone.
A rather cool day but a pleasant walk through the park. With the recent easing of restrictions, there were a few families and small groups of teenagers enjoying the various spaces. Being Halloween night, some mini muggles were dressed up for the occasion.
Luckily I was familiar with the “tool” in the nano, making my way to GZ shortly after. Nice spot for a hide and I got lucky again here being far away enough from any muggles seeing what I was up to here.
Cache and log in good condition. I added a little trinket in there. Now it was time to make my way back to the grumpy hungry teenager.
The landscaping in this park is lovely with lots of different varieties of trees and some flowers planted at the entrance.
Thank you for the cache here elphin

Out on a super windy day, glad we still had a few unfound caches within our 5km. Solved this ages ago but started raining before heading to the gz. So came back today with my teenage daughter and got her to solve it again (with a bit of help from me).
Thanks!
Thanks!
We started the day on our first hunt, and what a great hunt it was!! Learning the “tools” of the trade along the way . Thanks, was too much fun!
Feeling a little more confident with few cars on the road today, I cycled down the usually busy north and east Boundary Roads and was pleasantly surprised to make it without fear of being run over and to discover this hidden reserve!
WP 1 was quickly located with a muggle nearby whom paid no attention, as he was busily studying. The puzzle was easily solved; as my snorkelling group also use this tool and cache found quickly. A great cache to do by bike!
Thanks for the cache and showing me this area.

Got recommended to try this cache and thought why not give it a go. I arrived at the posted cordinates and quickly found the clue, it was the first time I have came across this. I was stuck so I went home and asked for help. After reading some logs we worked out the coordinats, later I traveled to the cache and had it in hand quickly.

We thought this cache would be incredibly difficult because of the difficulty rating, but when we got to stage one, I was very pleased to see that I had encountered this "tool" before. We found the cache easily at GZ. Found with paratl and others. TFTC
It was a fun find. We found the nano quickly and moved on to solve the puzzle. The puzzle was fairly easy and used the new coordinates to find the cache. TFTC
Stuck in Oakleigh with a few hours to kill, this beautiful evening beckoned and I set off on a walking tour of East Bentleigh. This was the fourth of six finds tonight and was a treat. I quickly found the tool - haha - I’ve used this on my profile page and I’ve been waiting for a cache to use it too. Nice!

A nice quick in field puzzle. Rather busy through here and there are windows watching so needed to be rather careful. First part was an easy find which I took to the table for further manipulation. First day in a long while that the sun was shining and it was very nice to just sit and work on the puzzle problem. Problem now solved I had a new mission, to return the cache clue to its hide. This is where the busy part comes in. Between council workers, general workers, walkers, gardeners and fitness bodies, returning the cache half was looking impossible. So I had to just sit and enjoy the sunshine until all had passed. Almost felling asleep, I suddenly looked up and all was clear, so I quickly returned the first part and headed for the GZ. GZ was just as easy to locate but then the same problem arose and I found myself dosing in the sunshine until all had cleared enough to re-hide the cache. TNLNSL. TFTC. Kkams

Was a easy retrieve of the tool. After that did a bit of working out, but it's something that I should have worked out sooner as I have encountered the cipher with other caches. quick retrieve and sign. TFTC.
Fun find -- simultaneously discovered a new encoding mechanism and a fun playground for my daughter! . Thank you!
I visited this place to get the info from the nano, only to find the area swarming with two workmen, and they were right where I wanted to be. So I waited till they left and got the nano. Got the info, but the phone did not have the right braincells to help me. So home I came and gave all my devices a braincell boost and got the next lot of info. A couple of days later I returned to claim the prize. A great cache.
Well after multiple failed attempts on this cache.... and looking EVERYWHERE, I was excited to read about the new location for the first stage. This was quickly found and although not able to figure out what to do next, I took the information home and set to work the next day doing some investigating. There was a clue which revealed the system of figuring out where to locate GZ. WOW... who knew that existed? A much better system if you ask me. I cannot tell you how thrilled I was once I realised I was on the right track to discover this, especially as this cache has been our nearest unfound to home for close to three years. Thank you Elphin for renewing my love for geocaching. PS: Can you please PM me the location of the original location, just so we can kick ourselves. ) TFTC, this is getting a fav point from The Double-A's once we earn some more.
At last! I had tried unsuccessfully a few times to locate the hide at the first waypoint, and assumed my failure was due to nano cache-blindness brought about by only searching late at night, when mini-muggles etc. were not present.
Subsequently I had mentioned my lack of success to a previous finder (SirJ-Oz) who kindly offered hints to narrow my search field, but still no luck. He then checked the location himself and confirmed the container was indeed MIA, and that he'd informed the CO.
Was very pleased therefore when I got a notification last Monday that the cache was active again, and with very limited time headed down to quickly try my luck.
(Was also happy to see the initial nano has shifted a bit - I always feel a bit sketchy searching kid-oriented areas unless I have one of my own with me as cover.)
The new co-ords were spot-on and made for an insta-find. With no time to spare I just photographed the clue for reference, replaced the hide and headed home.
The next day I tried to puzzle out the clue, but even the hint's reference did not bear any useful coordinate-type-fruit, so I put it aside feeling a bit frustrated at my seeming inability to get to grips with any stage of this one...
Stubbornness saw me back on the trail again the next day though. After testing all manner of theories and calculations to get valid co-ords, I was seemingly no closer to a solution... when quite by accident I happened to come across something that provided the key. Well there you go - I did not know about that.
In no time at all I had the final co-ords and eagerly looked forward to making the final find. Unfortunately life kept getting in the way though, and so despite living just over 2 kms away it was only late last night that I finally had a chance to come and search at around 11pm.
At GZ the container quickly revealed itself under torchlight, and after tipping out a small dead cockroach that had mysteriously found its way inside (how is that possible in an airtight container?) I signed the log, re-hid the cache and returned home, happy to finally have this elusive smiley.
Thanks for the cache, the puzzle and the mini-adventure, elphin.

Cache is back in play after being muggled. The game is the same but with the intial nano now in a different location in the same park. Enjoy folks.
I knew I had a free day to cache coming up so started solving puzzles in the bay area ready for a frestyle assult. Today was time to collect them and I decided a bike adventure may be the easiest way for the majority. My endurance levels and enthusiasm don't align though and I spent most of ride thinking of were I could buy another drink and food. All up 43km ridden and 43 caches collected with 30 plus on the bike.
This was one I wanted to get for a while now. A few muggles here and there but I found the nano and knew what to do. All okay at GZ.

OHC needed to get some caches to fulfill a challenge so off we went, walking crutch and all. The new hardware was tested and performed admirably. She had already found this but was happy to tag along so we could grab a smiley. There were two young girls that made our search harder but they soon joined ranks and came along for the walk. (accompanied by their grandmother). They were very curious and extremely interested. Possibly two converts. Thanks for the cache and for bringing us here.
This was a bit of fun as we picked up a couple of helpers (in the company of their grandmother). They were very excited when the final was found. They have been sworn to secrecy and agreed readily after we explained the purpose of our search. No, not the insanity bit, lol. They were extremely interested. Thanks for the cache in a really nice park.

Accompanied with crank1 and Everlasting. We had quizzed for bit with this puzzle after first waypoint. Almost gave up and we did asked for help so finally found the cache. We've taken an extensive break for geocaching (thanks to the P366 which killed the enjoyment for us) and now only cache sporadically. This is a local cache for us and one we have attempted in the past, but today was the first proper attempt without any muggles nearby. Sad to say we are obviously rusty, and could not find the nano... hunted high and low, but it was a no-go for us. We'll be back.
Returned today to find cache after micro and clue found a few weeks ago. Micro slight challenge but got there after small muggle child finished with swing. Clue like others did not make sense but after the necessary research was unaware of the fact that this way of looking at the world existed.
Soon found intact dry cache. Thanks for the mystery and challenge elphin.

My normal caching partners had completed this cache so I have been waiting for a chance to do it myself. Today I was on my own. At Gz I was lucky - no muggles around. After solving some GPS difficulties and read the cache page I was able to find the information needed. I knew what the information referred to as I have used this location method before. I rang home where Internet access was easier and was directed to the location of GZ. At Gz the cache was quickly found - in good condition. Thanks Elphin

This took us 2 days to find. Yesterday we went pass the the lovely park and in between some sprinkles of rain and geoson giving all the playground equipment a good test, we managed to search the area uninterrupted. Happily it didn't take long to locate the little micro hiding in an appropriate spot.
With the new clue in hand and the hint accessed, progress came to stop. Many thoughts and lots of head scratching later, I was no closer to solving this.
It was time to go home, feed geoson and do some more investigating.
After a good night sleep and some research the next day, a new way was revealed. Off we went to the new GZ and geoson ran straight to its hide and screamed I see it. High fives all around. With the log signed and replaced we were on our way back home.
Thanks elphin for a great learning experience. A favorite point from us.

Wow...what an experience!
So geo-toddler (gt) and I went to this park today and i got started on searching for w1. No luck at first but while pushing gt on the swings i realised i was trying to be extra clever instead of just searching with common sense. So i was about to get started again when lunchtime came and a local office worker seated himself on the bench and proceeded to make one call after another. And another. And another. Not that gt minded.
So eventually he left and a few minutes later i found it where i thought I'd looked before but had expectation filters on.
With the clue in hand, i was more confused than ever!
Thought about different possibilities and ended up taking a walk hoping for inspiration. Returned none the wiser having had a sip of water from the fountain along the way.
It started raining...so i told gt it was time to leave. Which meant that for the first time in days (weeks, months?) she completely ignored me and played nicely by herself ...in the rain. And i started googling.
Well...dont we all love Google. Suddenly the impossible became amazing and easy. Off in the continuing rain we went to gz ( which i swear i would have looked at had i not been distracted at that point of the walk- but then i wouldn't have had the satisfaction of learning anything. ) We spotted the cache, swapped , signed, rehid and finally made out way to the car sopping wet but very happy.
Thanks for a great cache and a fun afternoon. And teaching me about something I hadnt known before.

This was a bit of fun. I had tried to get to the thing at the GZ a couple of times, but have been put off by muggles. (I'm past the point where hanging around playgrounds with kids is a good look!) Anyway, I'd given up hope of finding this, but as I was walking through the park on my lunch break, I thought I'd checkout a few likely locations, and what do you know, it was in the third place I looked.
Well, I know this isn't exactly kosher, but it certainly gave me a thrill.
BTW. Occasionally you might see a few hundred people in this park including myself, as it's the evacuation place for the nearby business park, and also the resting place for one of my old archived caches.
Thanks elphin - I had a lot of fun, even if it wasn't what you might have expected.

Find #1420. Spending the weekend doing caches nominated in the 2016 cache of the year awards. Geohubby found the nano with no issues and we tried and tried to work on a solution which came up with no results even after asking Sergey and Larry. A little trial and error prevailed. Thanks for the cache and congratulations on the nomination elphin.
A different little puzzle that we worked out while enjoying a afternoon out in the sunshine while having a bite to eat. We worked out this one while enjoying some latin dancers putting on a bit of a display and we soon wandered off to the gz and made a straight forward find, thanks elphin for the cache and neat little puzzle.
After getting lunch from our favourite Lebanese Bakery nearby, we sat at one of the picnic tables to eat it before attempting the cache. A group of Latin dancers were enjoying Australia day and so we had some music to eat by. Grabbed what we needed at WP1, and then I learnt something to get to WP2. After a short walk in the sun we soon had the cache in hand. Thanks for teaching me something and for the hide. This one has been staring me down on the map for a while, so its good to finally do it!
Out on Australia Day, grabbing a few caches with Happy pants and Omegaman1971. Stopped off here to eat a late lunch and grab the needed info to find GZ. Were entertained by some people doing some dancing before heading off to make an easy find at GZ.
Thanks elphin for placing & maintaining the cache for us to find.

We had a late lunch today so before heading out to dinner to delay it a bit, I took the kids via this one since it was in a kids park and they were a great distraction to any muggles since I have been here before by myself but couldn't search due to this. After a bit of a look around today I made the find of the first clue and new exactly what to do since I had done a similar puzzle not long ago.
So we headed off and a nice quick find was made at GZ.
Thanks elphin for the cache, the puzzle, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Finally a found! After two attempts (the cache disabled shortly after both) I went straight to the where the previous muggled cache was and did what I had to do to find the location of the cache. Love the new hiding spot!
I had found the first stage to this several months ago but didn't solve the puzzle on the day. After a bit of research and deliberation I cracked it and had the solution to hand. A very nifty way to conceal the answer that I had not seen before. The cache had been disabled for a few months but with it back in place I had this one my list to head back to. This afternoon, after one find and one DNF nearby I had time to stop by. My calculated coordinates (or GPS) were throwing me a little way out but after a bit of hunting I found the cache. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the clever puzzle and for the cache elphin.
Nice little find while out with mark9375. The Cache is in good order and with the new log book I was almost tempted to write FTF just for fun TFTC

I had wanted to do this cache for sometime now, but every time I ride to the bentleigh I always get a headwind.....there and back.....
Me and my dad (4bait) visited this park a short time ago, we had no luck, after some research on the interwebs, nothing was found....a few days later I got a message from someone giving me a slight hint, once I had gotten all the required information now to get the cache...
Me and my dad were driving past and remembered that we had not done this one yet, so we swung back around and parked in the nearest area, after a very brief walk the cache was easily found, cache replaced and hidden under some natural camouflage
Thanks for this cache elphin, another one ticked off the 10km circle

Found the nano but couldnt find the 2nd part to this. Will come back another day
Well, yesterday I came here at 11:00 and found that nothing had changed, the nano was still there and in it was the same frustrating question which I still had no idea what the answer to was. I was really stuck, so I contacted Elphin requesting a hint, and one was given. After that GZ has been located, so I raced off leaving my stuff in the playground hoping for a find. Well all I found were two muggles having a picnic right where I wanted to search, so I left and came back at 4:00. At one point I thought I had it, but Elphin responded with a 'No'. I was searching in the right place, just couldn't finish the puzzle. Oh well. I'll be back
A new cache has been placed as of today, after some aggressive pruning removed the original cache. New cache, new log book, pen and some cool new swaps awaits the FTF #2 for this cache! Have fun!
Seems some over zealous trimming in the park has killed our cache. We'll be back online soon. Thanks to SirJ-Oz for pointing this out to us.
Thanks for the confirmation elphin. I went the other day and found the nano but not the cache. I just thought that I was hopeless!

As n0w0rries had already located wp1, it was left to me to find it while nw played on the spinner.
We were lucky today that no children had arrived yet. Perhaps still too cold.
I recognised the clues straight away and immediately knew what to do with them. I love this technique!
If other finders like this, they'll also like "NHL - New York Islanders" (bit of self-promotion) hehe.
Nice little stroll to gz to sign our first for the day. Cheers!

After finding WP1, way back when this was published, it did not make much sense to me.
With a suggestion from a previous finder of what I should do with this information, a likely location was soon at hand.
Out with OzHockeyChick picking up solved puzzles in the bayside area and this was the first.
An empty playground allowed OHC to search mostly uninterrupted while I lazed on the spinning thing.
OHC soon worked out what to do with the info since one of her puzzles uses a similar style - one that I was the first to find - thanks to having seen it here first.
Finally today the cache was located after a very short search.
Log book a bit damp. It could use a ziplock bag and silica gel pack but we were able to sign regardless.
Although not a big fan of playground caches, at least GZ was nicely removed.
Thanks for the interesting concept that is handy to know and for the cache elphin.

Had been to the first point a number of times but never keen to spend too much time rattling around a playground on my own. Such a freezing day today I was confident I could complete a thorough search and low and behold the clue was in hand. A short consult with my great mate PantherX and I was off to a quick find. TFTC
*23/07/2016, Found @ 1:22 PM, Find # 5517.*
I had ventured out to the first waypoint awhile ago and after a short search the information that was needed was soon found, I had picked the best time to do this as there was no one to be seen.
I looked at the information that I now had but it didn't make a lot of sense to me at the time so I headed home.
After a bit of investigation, I was soon onto what this information was, this was something that I had never seen or had any idea about so I have now learnt something new.
So now with the information punched in, I now had the location of the cache, I just needed to get back to this location.
Time went on and with so many time that I intended to head this way, something always caused me to abort the mission of finding this cache.
Today I decided that nothing was going to stop me and I headed to my new location, once there I circled the object once , had a bit of a look in, moved to another spot and had another look in and there was the cache right in front of my eyes, the logbook was soon signed and I was on my way.
**Thanks to elphin for placing this cache.**

As a family we are doing mystery month challenge. Each member of the family has a different role to fulfil, with older boy the key puzzle solver, younger geoson the chief playground tester which lets Dad search inconspicuously - and Mum doing the physical challenges.
Dad and youngest had been around the bay today with mixed results and so swung by this park on our way home to see if we could improve our tally. Early signs were not good, due to dad's struggle to locate WP1 despite a muggle-free playground. Eventually we stopped over-thinking and gave it one more look, and the nano!!! was in our hands.
Ahh-but what does this mean? A quick query of the search engine and a whole new world was opened up to us (and now we think we know how to solve some other puzzles too) Learned how to orient ourselves to grab the final and we signed the cool log just as the phone battery fell to 3% - nothing like a little pressure to focus the mind
Thanks for bringing us to this little oasis, boy agrees that the spiny frame is cool, and dad has learned a thing or two. (13/31 Mystery month)

This is a lovely little linear park, and despite forecasts of patchy weather, it was starting to clear up. At WP1, after waiting out some muggles walking their dog, I was able to commence my search and was pleased to be able to locate the required nano. With the contents examined, it was an area of knowledge that I was already familiar with, so was able to come up with the required answer. A very neat little field puzzle and something definitely very interesting.
It was then on to GZ, and soon after I was adding my name to the log. A clever hide to match too.
Thanks for the interesting puzzle and cache.

Thanks for the interesting puzzle and cache.
Would be preferable if WP1 was not in a playground, as it restricts searching when little muggles are active.
This is where I too say "isn't that interesting; didn't know about that!" etc. I found the nano with relative ease (arriving shortly after dawn in the midst of drizzle is a strategy I'd actually recommend to others) and pondered the clue in the nearby shelter thingy for some minutes. Then the way forward became clear. I'm pleased to say that I didn't subsequently have to loiter at all long at GZ. A nice twist on the standard multicache format. Thanks elphin!
Just didn't understand the clue.
But now it is found.
Like the principle but am still not impressed when my logs are deleted.
The world is not full of hubris. Live life to the full including all those setbacks.

After a tip-off and hint from caching friend sog12 whilst working on some puzzles I found myself passing by here today so stopped off to have a go - despite less that ideal weather to be outdoors (although on the plus side good weather to keep the muggles away!) Information gathered and GZ worked out it only took a quick search to spot the cache TFTC and an interesting method of locating things I've not come across before.
i have been meaning to get back down this way to have another crack at this one,
with a huge help from the owners I was able to find it within no time,
I have never done a cache like this before,
thankyou Elphin [:x]
