### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###

----------

Hi there The-M-Fam,

This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as a cache that **MAY** need some attention.

You may recall having received an automated email from Geocaching HQ which explained what you needed to do.

Unfortunately, nothing seems to have happened, so I am having to take the next step and temporarily disable the cache - see here: [**Geocache Health Score.**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713)

**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication kill this cache.**

#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-

- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.

- **Place A Write Note Log:-** Reviewers are not mind readers, so without your note on the cache page telling them what the situation is, they can't tell what is going on with the cache.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and, when the listing is next checked, all will be fine for a little bit longer. But be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it.
If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date), please ensure you visit this page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks so as to keep everyone up to speed with what is happening.

- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another Geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.

You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of the above. Well, when the cache is next checked by a Reviewer, if the issue has not been addressed, or there is no acknowledgment as requested above, it will be assumed the cache has been abandoned and processed accordingly.

Honestly, I'd rather you decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the new Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD)

Thanks for your cooperation,

Bunjil

Avoiding muggle players was tricky. Good Camo. TFTC

First one for the day was a beauty.... had to employ extreme stealth as I was hampered by the nearby ladies tennis comp. I had to look like I was taking a real interest in tennis .
Fantastic camo, many spots it could’ve been.

Out today with Squiiix concentrating on two main cache series. My second for the day, but Squiiix had already found it. Found after a short search. Nice camouflage.

Many thanks to The-M-Fam for the cache.

Very nice spot in a peaceful street. No one playing tennis on 1 Jan! Thank you and happy new year!

Yay it’s hard!

It was a day to pick up just a few caches today with ilook4geo, as it was also time to move on. Each cache we targeted was found and paperwork duties were done. Each cache was put back as found before we moved on. Many thanks go to The-M-Fam for placing this cache and adding another smiley to our caching map. Camo was good here and blended in the situation. Favourite point given for a good hide.

07-Nov-19
Out on the hunt today with goingplaces2 and this was one of the caches we found. No problem, as the cache page info was good. No muggles were close enough to be any problem either. Cache found, log signed, all good. TFTC.

08-Sep-19
Out and about with Meme28 and the GeoKids. Stopped by here a while back with a DNF due to high muggle activity. Today was quiet enough to retrieve. Awesome camo. TFTC

MasterSquix stole the show finding this one. Fantastic cammo!

08-Aug-19
Out and about for the Mystery at the Museum looking for caches to unlock the vault to return the jewels .
Out with geo daughter on a cold yet cloudy/sunny Melbourne day.
Made a nice find here. Nice camo. A few muggles at the tennis courts but they were too busy playing to take notice of what we were up to.
Log book damp and tattered as previously mentioned in other logs. We found a new log sheet in our car and placed it in this cache to keep it going for a while now.
Thank you for the cache The-M-Fam

Geodaughter enjoyed watching a spot of tennis while geo dad and I had a search. After a few muggles passed we found a little surprise tftf

27-Jul-19
A nice well made hide which nearly had me calling DNF, but I did spy the hide as I was on my way , Thanks The-M-Fam, the log is damp, but with write on wet paper pens I could place my sign

27-Jul-19
Found after a short search. Gps had me closer to the fence but I honed in on a tree instead.
Log sheet is very tattered and could use a new one.

I was a bit trepidatious about this one, due to reading previous logs & seeing that it might take a while to find. We only had a few minutes (like, 5) it was drizzling with rain, and I wasn't sure if my cache blindness might come into play. No mind, I had my trusty CRE (cache retrieval expert, aka CachesHigh). But after a quick search in a few places, I narrowed in on one place in particular. Used my massive six-month experience (LOL!), circled & made the find! Had to be at the correct angle though, due to fantastic camo. All the more reason for a FP.

Enjoyed this one M-Fam, thanks.

On approach 2 ladies were playing tennis. They were really slugging it out. I pretty much felt I could be pretty inconspicuous by no eye contact and using my bike as a cover. It wasn't in the first or second spot so i went to another closely. A scan spotted something i thought needed closer attention. Yes it was discovered. A very nice camo indeed
Thanks The-M-Fam

18-Mar-19
Took some time but awsome camo
Geoson spotted it luckily otherwise i think i may still be there looking
Thank you do much for so much effort on this one fav for sure

We looked for some time for this one and were just about to give up in despair, when Mr Squalid found it. Job well done! Thanks for the hide.

17-Mar-19
This took a while to spot, great camo happening here. There was a game of tennis going on close by, but they were paying no attention to my activities as I searched high and low.

11-Mar-19
We wandered around to a few different objects until we found the one that we were after.
A well concealed and decorated cache.
Thanks The-M-Fam.

13-Jan-19
Well this one took a lot longer and more effort than it ought to have... Having DNFed the previous cache we tried our luck here and failed to spot it multiple times until retracing our steps G' approached from a different angle and spotted it - how did we miss that?!....

13-Jan-19
Nicely placed cache. We searched for a while, with a particular hide in mind. Coming back to a similar spot I eventual saw it and wondered how someone had not seen it before. Thanks The-M-Fam

You've got to love an "in your face" cache.
Spotted on approach. No whackers on the near court.
Took the contents back to the nearby GeoPrado and air dried the log on the bonnet.

Signed the log. Took nothing. Replaced the ziplock bag.
All good here. Thanks J and Merry Christmas to you and your family from both of us.

Find #3805. Found @ 16:14 with skirrel.

Walking on from the previous DNF, we found the nearby courts fully utilised with racquet wielding adversaries. The bonus was they were too enthralled in their epic battles to pay any attention to our minor quest. Spotted pretty quickly and made the retrieval without any issue.

Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache The-M-Fam

Walking the park perimeter with Ana the geo-dog made it very easy to gather this cache, despite the serious competition being had on the nearby courts. While Ana did what dogs do best, I was able to slyly extract the cache and sign the log. TNLNSL. TFTC. KkAms

"International Earthcache Day" - a check for our closest unfound earthcache. Great, just 36kms away! Ahoy me hearties - way across the bay!
After attending the "Come and Visit Parkville Nov 2018 - Mordialloc" Event, this is one of a variety of caches we found as we made our way back to the other side of the bay. Interesting history lesson here.

Thanks to 'The-M-Fam' for placing this cache on the geo-gameboard.

This one was a little difficult given the number of people playing tennis. Given their focus, and us pretending to be interested in their play, we soon spotted it. The trouble was getting it out. Finally out, and in the progressing of signing we heard a yell - hey Mate...oh...had they spotted us and questioning what we were doing....no...they were just wanting to get a ball back that they hit out of the court...relief. Got the ball and returned the cache.. Thanks,

Today was a long day of caching in and around Black Rock and Beaumaris. We still needed about 70 caches to complete our hidden creatures series before time runs out. Fantastic area that we have never really explored before.

Out and about this afternoon finding some of my unfound local caches. The last time I came to find this cache it was very busy with muggles. Today there was only a couple of boys playing tennis and they would not have noticed me. The log was hard to get out as it had been jammed right in but I managed to retrieve it to sign. TFTC

After a day stuck inside for no particular reason we decided to head out this morning on a good walking circuit with a series of caches en route.
We headed down to Beach Road where a beautiful vista greeted us. The sun was out and the bay mirror flat. There were some boats out fishing on the reef that must be under the area, but we did not see anyone catch anything.
Plenty of cyclist on Beach Road, but all in all a great day for a walk.
As we turned back inland this was the next on our circuit. There was plenty happening at the nearby tennis courts so we needed to show quite a bit of stealth searching the logical possibilities before spotting the well-camod and audaciously hidden cache. Well done.

#1402 After dropping daughter at school and having geo-pup in the car decided to knock over a walk (8.51am)and a P366 cache at the same time. Parked not that far from GZ. Just happened to glance at the right place at the right time. Wandered off to a nearby bench to sign the log before then returning cache to it's home. The cammo on the lid is wearing off so it probably stands out a little more than it used to. It was then a 30 min walk around the nearby streets before returning to the car. I was pleased I'd done the cache before the walk as the adjacent tennis court now had about 20 people on it! TFTC The=M-Fam.

15-Jan-18
Out and about and noticed I was pretty close to a cache so decided to stop and have a look. Slowly filling in the calender and January is starting to look pretty good for me with a few early days missing so hopefully this time next year I will be able to fill the month in. Lucky for me I have left nearly all my local closest finds for this reason. This was a nice pleasant find with some great camo but the paint on the lid could do with a touch up as it gave the hide away pretty quick. Thanks The-M-Fam for the cache and the excuse to get out TFTC

Let me start by stating that this is a bit of a generic and overdue log. Whilst I found your cache some time ago I haven’t had the energy to come up with even a generic log until the time of writing this particular log (23.12.2017) because of a very difficult family situation which resolved itself on the 18.12.
I’ll also fess up that I didn’t even have the energy to maintain a record of the exact cache I found each day between the 19.11-30.11 so rest assured that although I found your cache the date in the log may be out by a day or two during this period. I have of course done my best to recall which cache I found on which day but frankly if this poses a problem please remember this is at the end of the day a game played by you and I for our enjoyment rather than an exercise in exact record keeping.
Well, that’s the generic bit. Here goes trying to remember the experience of finding YOUR exact cache. This particular cache was cleverly and may I say boldly camo'd which could've posed a problem if the workmen down the street or the tennis players on a nearby court were paying any attention to me. Fortunately they weren't as they may have seen me check what to a cacher are some quite obvious spots but to a muggle looks like some very unusual activity.....
Thanks for placing this semi-local cache, M-Fam. This is a real exercise in bold but clever hiding which seems to have lasted the distance unlike the other two local caches judging by the logs.

We found this cache today at 12:40pm as number 6 of 10 on our Beaumaris Bash. A couple of looks in other spots before locating the well camouflaged cache. Thanks from D & HA B-A.

It has been a while since I last took my bike out to do some caching so when I had the opportunity today I jumped at it. The weather was a bit breezy with a chill too.

**1:37PM**

I have no idea why, but I just couldn't find this cache walked around 5 trees within a 25 meters radius of given coordinates then came back to the coordinates and scratched my head... Still nothing, I climb the tree and then saw it, jumped back down and made the find,

The logbook was damp and the plastic bag was wet and ruined, I replaced the bag and let the logbook dry out in the sun... Took a team smokey bear pathtag and left $2 a new plastic bag for the logbook and some skin that I spiked myself on lol

I often skip over trads unless I have a trackable to deposit. I think that's what happened last time I was here; attempted the multis, put a trackable in a small trad and largely skipped the micros in this series. But I was walking through today and passing within metres of the remaining [non-disabled] trads, so naturally I stopped to have a look. This one was found after a brief dance around my phone's idea of where GZ must be. Nicely camouflaged! Thanks The-M-Fam!

The sun had finally turned up so it was time to do some caching, I teamed up with OzHockeyChick for a days caching around the Bayside area, It was good to pick up a few puzzles that had been sitting in the solved pile for some time. there sure is plenty of activity in this area with walkers and bike riders. We had a great day of caching with twenty six finds for the day. Thanks The-M-Fam for the cache.

Found after a few minutes searching logical places. A good hide but my GPS was reading 11m at GZ.

30-Jul-16
Drive past today and noticed that someone has decided to trim the trees and most likely the cache has gone with it. I'll re-make and place nearby soon.

10-Jul-16
My gps was just wacko today, absolutely zero help in finding an exact gz and we were standing for ages convincing ourselves that property violation was not called for! Finally we read some logs to get an indication of likely suspects and I made an assumption about container type bard on past (and incidentally, incorrect) experience! Ready to give up, geograndma wandered to the other suspect and sang calmly "got it!!" So impressed! Not only with her first find but with the creative cache container! Another favourite for me for the thought that went into this. Thanks so much for a great series!
