found this one really quickly, unfortunately everything inside was soaked. tftc though!
Quick easy find, but as others have said it needs a new log. Signed as best I could. Tnln tftc.
Found but couldn't sign.
Cache is soaked all through.
Seriously needs maintenance.
Brooke over the moon for finding it though.

It had been a busy day full of interesting conversations. But an earlier DNF in Endeavor Hills didn't bring any geo-joy.
In fact it took until late in the night before I had any free time to myself but I was thankful to finally have a period of peace.
I picked up the smiley when I found the straightforward cache and signed the wet log. But it was more than geo-joy I discovered here tonight... Incredibly, I experienced an emotional release as I reflected on conversations from earlier in the day. And deep inside of me I felt a glow. I had rediscovered Joy! I felt swept up by emotion and shared this moment by hugging a nearby pine tree in the moonlight.
Just another warped Welder wandering, lol!!
A big thanks goes to the Mobile Picnic Group for inviting me out here. Intriguing things happen when I travel this path in the still of night.

I came on a warm night and it was dark. Spider webs around. Easy find after getting past the spider. I couldn't sign the log, it's past it. Thanks for the cache!
Last week in Melbourne so another drive to find a walking track complete with caches. A nice easy find. Tftc
On the way past en route to another cache I'd checked out what looked like a potential hiding spot (thank goodness for geo trails! ) but decided to leave it until I was coming back (ie. downhill!)
Stopped and parked the bike and given how busy the trail was this morning was worried I'd have to find a narrow window to make the grab. But by good fortune the trail was empty for a nice couple of minutes allowing plenty of time to grab, sign and return without any muggle interference.
Agree with previous logs that this desparately needs some maintenance. Cache is not watertight and is subsequently waterlogged.
MPC - If you are having trouble getting back here, I'm happy to do a replace for you. Will give me an excuse to get out on the bike again!

Got it while on a morning ride with the eldest! Caught a good gap in muggles. Still really wet though!
A bit too damp to sign with my pencil. A kookaburra was watching me from a branch as I approached the hide
Had a quick look around for muggles before heading up looking for the cache. Was a quick find. As ClanMagee have stated, this cache needs some maintenance. The log was completly soaked, enough that I couldn't write my name down. I really do need to bring some replacement log books and zip lock bags with me. TFTC
ClanMagee love this park too and ventured out today for a family afternoon walk.
The cache was a quick find but unfortunately, it has been inundated. The log is saturated and maintenance is needed. Happy to supply a photo for proof of find if CO requests. TFTC.

We found this cache today at 3:35pm as number 12 of 17 on our Notting Hill to Nunawading Afternoon. Parked to the south of the freeway and spiralled our way to the cache. The log was slimy but satisfying. Thanks from D & HA B-A.
Found it! Went for a family walk tonight and found this cache. The log book is sopping wet and pen did not work. Took a photo for proof of find just in case. TFTC SL we saw a tawny frog mouth owl!!
Nice hide. Log completely soaked and covered in ants. Needs to be replaced. TFTC
A quick find along my long and scenic walk through this portion of the Kooning Creek bike path. It was getting onto dusk as I arrived at GZ which was a good thing considering the very exposed nature of GZ. Most family groups had or were on their way back to their homes for dinner and thus GZ was muggle free.
Log book is soaked and needs a replacement sooner rather than later. I'd imagine the plastic bag which should be moisture tight also needs replacing given that it no longer seals.

Lots of cyclists passing through this winter morning but I timed it well and found it, thank you
Last one we did on this little trail along eastlink. Easy and quick find. Thanks
22/07/2017 2:04:00 PM - I swung past here with Square_pegs and found this cache. Thanks Mobile Picnic Group for the adventure.

It was a nice walk along the trail here, and after a cyclist passed the timing was perfect for a quick find.

Another quick find along this trail. Was out in the open so frmen1 and I returned it with a bit of cover. TNLN TFTC
Not quite exactly where the GPS says, but found without any difficulty.
Tipped out a bit of water from the cache container and signed the damp logbook.

Out and about with Trailstevo last Thursday putting a few smiley faces on the map. Did about a 6 km circuit with the Gordon. TFTC
Nice easy find. Cache was rather damp so I put some silica gel in log book bag.
Thanks Mobile Picnic Group

Night out with Gunks. Unfortunately/Fortunately he did most of the finding. Tftc
A quick and easy find as we cache our way through the area today. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.

Today it was car service time and that my excuse to bring it over this way and find a few caches while I'm waiting. So I jumped on my bike and headed off to see what I could find.
This is a new one since I was here last and once I arrived at GZ, it was a quick and easy find.

As suggested, this one was a nice easy find. Hardest part is waiting for muggles to disappear as the trail can get quite busy at times.

12yo needed a walk after dinner. So we hopped in the car, parked by the swings and wandered down the hill to find this cache
Ended up on the pedestrian overpass above Eastern Freeway so we watched cars for a while, then retraced our steps a little. Negotiated the slippery rocks as we forded the creek and made the find triumphantly. The container was a little wet inside so we dried as best we could before signing, replacing and heading back to the car. Thanks for a fun evening adventure

Second cache in the company of quiet1_au. Of course I had to look at the wrong side first. Q found the cache. TFTC
A bit of a walk to get to GZ for lochb and I (we parked on the other side of the freeway), we also had a couple of ideas about how to get to GZ but we eventually reached a consensus and headed off on our walk, a slightly risky one as the cyclists don't slow down so beware! At GZ, lochb was unlucky not to make the find and I was heading for a different hiding place nearby when I caught sight of the hide. IIRC the logbook was a bit damp but usable. TFTC
Find number 5365 at 5:34:54 PM
Discovered at the end of a nearby multi chase. A great place for a walk and a very enjoyable afternoon was had.

I was on my way home and thought it was about time that I found this fairly close to home cache. Not sure why I hadn't looked for it before but that's the way things go sometimes. [8)] I parked in Darvall St and had a lovely stroll along the trail to GZ. I quickly spotted the cache as it was partially exposed. I retrieved the cache and signed the log at 5:20 pm. TNLN. I returned the cache to its hiding spot with a bit more natural cover and then headed home for dinner.
Thanks Mobile Picnic Group for the cache and for bringing me to this section of the picturesque Koonung Creek Trail, which I don't usually come to as the other end, near Elgar Rd, is closer to home.

ok cache log dry in a plastic bag but container really wet inside. but a part from that a real good hide.
I was in Mitcham this afternoon doing a quick job with work and took the opportunity to grab a quick cache on my way home. I have been out on this trail before grabbing a cache or two over the last few years and it always seems that there is another cache that seems to be placed in between the ones I have done in the past. So I returned today to turn this one into a smilie and after a short stroll and search I soon had the cache in hand. Thanks Mobile Picnic Group for the hide.
Thank you great quick find lovely to have a new cache along the track. TFTC Mobile Picnic Group
The container had shipped a few millimetres of water, which I emptied out. However, the log was safe and dry in its plastic bag. I tried to fully seal the container before leaving it. Tftc.
Quick find after a pleasant stroll, but as others have reported log was damp. Needs to be bagged. TFTC
