Heading to the Clear Waters Mega Event in Quenbeyan, Travelling with Shandyk, Guz's Travellers, Mr Cupcake and Darkmoon31. Today we woke up in Junee and set out early to clear the town...and visit the chocolate factory! Had a thorough look for this. Needs some owner TLSC or archiving if they can't be bothered to maintain.
This cache is missing. We have been there previously and have been told where it was. It is not there or even close by. In need of Maintenance now.
Thanks guys

Hi there pezzinni.
This is the 2nd of 5 caches we didn't find today. [:(!]
We spent quite some time here but we just couldn't locate your cache, so here's a DNF from us.

We left early this morning for a short break in Wagga. We stopped in Junee to pick up a few caches that have appeared since we were last here and it was a pleasure to see so many creative hides. Thanks for placing these caches.
We are taking a short break to drive away the winter blues and stopped in Junee on the way to Wagga. Many thanks for a great morning finding (or not) the many creative hides here.
Quickly found, it is a shame we have so many of these old facilities just falling into disrepair. TFTC
A nice stroll up the hill after gaining some knowledge at a tree. This one took a bit of searching but I finally got it. TFTC.
Today i visit the SimpsonFamliy and we went for a little caching tour around their home i didnt thpught that could be here... there are better spots and it was 5m away.. but we found a little place to log. Thank pezzinni for my number 256 ! Lovely greetings from the german explorer turtle
Quick find after checking the usual spots. Wasn’t where I would have expected. CoOrds out by 5m.
Cache found but not where expected. Could be moved from original location? Also. Log full and needs replacing.
We're grabbing some caches in Junee before heading to Wagga for the day. Lucky for a quick find. TFTC
Junee is not proving to be a happy hunting ground for us today - our 3rd DNF here. Widened our search quite a bit, but no luck. Our thanks anyway to pezzinni.
One of the local muggles came out and spent some time with me trying to find this cache. I think he could be new convert to this crazy pastime. In the end I reverted to PAF who incredibly came through with the exact location even though it is nearly 12 months since his find. I had actually been to this area but obviously I had not searched thoroughly.
After a really great day yesterday completing the RGGT trail and starting the Friends, I had my heart set on completing that one, but an over protective butcher bird at the final cache put paid to that goal.
I started the day in Wagga Wagga and travelled home via Marrar, Old Junee and Junee. At that stage I realised that arriving home today was going to be impossible unless I stopped caching. I had never travelled that road before and again I thank geocaching for taking me that way to see so many wonderful sights - the lambs sticking close to their mums; the calves frolicking in the sun; the canola crops were either lush green or already cut; the wheat at various stages of being ripe from still green to flaxen and the beautiful sight of people fishing while out enjoying the lovely spring weather.
Oh and the caches were great too. There were a variety of hides, containers and camouflages. However I must admit to one low spot and that was when I had to sack Monty, aka my GPSr, after he led me on a merry dance for about 15 minutes at a cache that everyone else had said was easy! I grabbed Sam(sung) from the car and he immediately showed me the right way to go. Go figure!
All caches found were in good condition and logs were signed, often as SG to save space and time.
Thank you to all COs for their part in making my life so enjoyable.
Individual caches will get extra notes if appropriate.

This one was a DNF for about 10 minutes [:o] When back at the railway station with my Muggle / Railfan friend i began reading the past logs and told the muggle mate "I'm having another crack at this one" Went back to the GZ spot in front of the lovely old Hospital building and had the cache in hand in under 30 seconds. How did I miss that the first time? [:o)] SL at 11:08 on Sat 7 Oct 2017. The cache and contents are all good and dry [^] TFTC pezzinni
We had parted ways after coffee with our new friends as we still had a few hours travel to get home. However, as this hobby often does, we decided we could sneak in one or two more finds This one had a cool, almost eerie feel to it when we arrived, the sun was on its way down, but it wasn't quite dark yet.
The cache didn't take us long to find and it was in good order.

In town for an event and stayed overnight so was then able to grab a number of nearby caches while here. This was a quick find on this cold frosty morning.

What a beautiful old building. We have been in Junee for a pirate Event this afternoon and are enjoying picking up a few caches in town before heading back to our accomodation in Wagga. SL at 4.22pm Left: translucent gumnut PT #4716 TFTC pezzinni and alerting us to this historical feature of Junee.
Suscoe was out and about in the Riverina today in the very good company of Phetlern.
It was a very cold start to the day with sub zero temperatures, but this slowly gave way to a sunny day which felt warmish at times.
We headed north of Wagga today and had a great day out travelling the country roads.
Thanks to pezzinni for this hide we looked around for a while and then P gave the call and there it was.

Along with Suscoe, we made our way to Junee via the "Friendship Run". The weather was perfect, allowing us to seek out a variety of caches, some of which were in unexpected places, such as this one. As always the co'ordinates lead us to places and/or revealed quirky tales, we would never have known about without geocaching.
Thanks pezzinni for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

Found on a nice morning walk with the geokid. Despited the map not working we still came out on top. Amazing that this cache has survived in that spot. Good work! TFTF!
#6095 - 13:05; Out on a day run with Sol de lune and toy hunters heading south to Gundagai, then west through Junee, on to Grong Grong and home via Ardlethan with a few stops at a number of small country towns along the way. After cruising through the CBD, we headed over to the old hospital. After a bit of head scratching and checking the more obvious options, we too found the cache in what we thought was an unlikely spot. TFTC pezzinni
Found on a fantastic day trip out around Junee with Sol de Lune and LuckyL10n! After driving out of town a little bit, we parked in front of the hospital and looked around a little bit before finally coming up with the goods - very interesting hide! Nice piece of history in Junee with some great views! TNLNSL. TFTC pezzinni!
Nice old buildings that would be better if occupied I suspect. And a good location too. Surprisingly the coords were pretty good on this one - we kept looking elsewhere but like many others were surprised when we came up with the container. Thanks pezzinni.
Made one final find before heading back to the pub for a meal & then back home. Found with The Lost Wanderers, Coruze, Skullracing & Sharkiefan. Was surprised to find it hear, as I wouldn't have thought it would survive. Nevertheless it has. Thanks pezzinni.
I found this cache as a joint part of “Team” Throsbyonchurch and in which name the log book was signed. I now have my own account as I’m old enough to cache myself, so I am claiming a fair share of my earlier finds. As I had no caching name at the time there's no log in the book for me but I’m claiming the find under team ToC. Thank you for the hide.
Found with the whole crew. Skullracing, Sharkiefan, 3In1 and Coruze. Last one for the night before heading to the pub for dinner. We would have liked to see the building in daylight to see what it was like. Thanks for bringing us here.
This was the gangs last Cache for the day as it was starting to get dark and our dinner date at the pub was about to happen. As before, everyone piled out of the cars and started to look all over the shop until one person started to look in the right spot, although the general consensus was that it wouldn't be in THAT spot....turns out it was, and we all signed our lives away and then wandered off to the pub for tea.
Thanks pezzinni for the cache in an interesting location.
Thanks pezzinni for the cache in an interesting location.
Found it thank you for the hide. Got wind another cacher was heading off to the Junee caching events, contacted them and scored a lift. We found this cache on the way.
The word went out that there were two events on in the one day one being in a chocolate factory. New Garmin in hand and some trusty folks from the Canberra Geocaching community to go along with and like they say in the like Blues Brothers “We are on a mission from God.” To the Blues mobile with Strange Trousers at the wheel and mcktcj guiding the way. The rain eased, none of the roads flooded and a fabulous day of caching followed. Great to see some familiar faces and meet new people who had travelled from as far as Shepparton. Thank you to Greg & the Famers 5 team for organising the events.
Loved he old building and especially the glass work in the front door.
Sol de lune had joined us for this one and had it in hand quickly.

All I have to say, that is the last spot I would look for a cache!
Took a while because I would not expect it to be there......
Oh well looks like it is surviving perfectly though and is nice and dry!
Thanks pezzinni, I really liked this location and am intrigued about what they are going to do with the Old Hospital. It seems to be empty and unusued at the moment

Cache in good condition.
Travelled to Junee for The Farmers 5 events at the Monte Cristo and the Licorice/Chocolate Factory. Lived in Junee for a few months, returned home for a couple of years and moved to Wagga for 3 years and returned home again. Love it down here. So we were hopeful of bagging a good number of caches this weekend.

Very threatening conditions greeted us today as we (myself, CBRChick & mcktcj) contemplated an anticipated trip out to Junee for two events today. A very wet night & local conditions indicated flooding & we wondered if we would even make it. But optimism won the day & we headed out regardless and the rains eased the further we ventured from Canberra. Quite a few other Canberra geocachers were there, including B737 & family, but we met cachers from all over including Dubbo, Moss Vale and some even from Shepparton ! All in all a good day. Thanks Greg & the Famers 5 team for organising this successful day and great venues.
Another devious hide. SDL extracted it in the end.

Another of a couple of finds on the way home....after teaming up with StrangeTrousers, mcktcj and CBRCHIC.
This one took a few minutes, but a reading a previous log.....and checking a certain area, the cache was felt and was safely in hand. Log nice and dry and once signed, replaced ready for the next visitor over the weekend....
Thanks pezzinni....hope they do something with the buildings soon......

10639. Found during a caching run down to the Wagga region this ANZAC Day long weekend.
Day 3 of my trip was nearly over, so I started heading home and this was the next cache on my list. Parked nearby and walked over to GZ. A quick find at GZ. Log was signed, cache returned and I headed off to the next one.
Thanks again pezzinni !

Interesting that the building is up for sale. No one was out and about today so after a short search the hide was turned up. Thanks for bringing us here.
Thankfully no Muggles around so plenty of time to search and it took some time before I found it which pleased hubby big time. Good hiding spot, TFTC
Travelling slowly homewards after a six month stay in Tassie.
Travelling slowly homewards after a six month stay in Tassie.
Finally found it. Hard to search with 4 noisy kids in tow and next door muggles staring at us. WCM took some photos to distract them. TFTC
This was a challenge because the next door neighbours were out in the their garden and watching every move we made. My geowife gave me her Nikon camera and instructed me to take lots of photos of the old hospital [which is up for sale] and try to get their focus on me. Then she told the kids to stay away from her as she surreptitiously searched. Great plan. Pretty sure the neighbours didn't notice what she was up to. I dare say they were filled with dread at the prospect of such a noisy bunch of misfits buying up the property and moving in next door, LOL. TFTC

On the way home from Wagga and I realised there was a new cache here in Junee. Alas! another 2nd to find - oh well, one day I'll grab one first!! TFTC pezzini
Plans were made with one of the FurfacesLL ladies to do a country drive through some towns in a big loop and clean out a few areas. Main targets of the day were Cootamundra and Junee
We had plans to leave at a certain time, however, I foiled those plans when I woke up late, however we still left at a reasonable hour [:p]
This was the next cache on our GPRs to find. Little did we know it was a NEW cache!!! We both thought our GPSr's had not pulled down previous logs, till we checked it on the phones. Wow thats a very unexpected *FTF* at 1919 Quite a spooky old hospital, wonder what the new buyers will do with it.......

The day had come to head out on another geomissin with Rapidlywild, weather was awesome so what better way to spend a Saturday then go caching out in the country side.
Well an unexpected joint *FTF* here today. We thought out GPS units were wrong with no previous logs, but when we found an empty log sheet we knew it was indeed correct.
What a creepy looking old hospital too. Wonder who will buy it and what they will do with it.
