Second DNF in row. Not found in a while but more likely I just didn't find a tricky hide.
Come back here a few times now and had a good look. I’ll have to come back to have a look
Just what we expected from one of these shortcuts. Favourite added. Nice view of the island. T4TCSL
After we had our lunch by the river we came out to the beach for this cache. There were very few people on the beach today.
Spent a while looking for this, but we eventually found it where it was meant to be.
(# 4618). My second attempt at this one after a fruitless search previously. Don't know how I originally missed this one but sometimes that's the way it happens. A quick find this round. Everything in order. TFTC
Second attempt at this one. Last time looked for half hour.today was not even 30sec
I took my youngest son up to Wellington in the camper van. I dropped him off at his friend's house where he will stay. Meanwhile I get to geocache and be on standby.
After staying at Greytown and spending another day in the Wairarapa, it was time to head to The Hutt area.
Son number two got dropped off at the airport. Hubby got picked up.
I needed to get the Camper's clutch checked out at Miro Auto Repairs. Once we got the all clear it was time to continue our adventure. We are staying in Paraparaumu tonight.
Next on the agenda is a swim

After taking a long walk along the beach and through the estuary, we stopped here to search the box.
After a while, the lakeside-son found the well hidden container!
Thank you very much for hiding!

This one certainly deserves a fav point from me as it is just so naturally hidden!! I didn't find it last time but was determined to find it this time and finally i did. congrats on this clever hide...after i was soooo sure that is must be missing last time. Thank you for this clever hide and finally a smiley face in it. I took nothing and left nothing.
I wasn't optimistic about this one owing to the number of previous DNFs.
However I had been searching for a short time when a group of (as I thought) muggles came up from the beach so I was about to move on and come back later when one of them said the magic words "geocaching?" They assured me the cache was still there and they had found it recently, and said I was on the right track. Sure enough after a bit more searching I came up with the goods.
Thanks to the passersby (whose caching name I didn't get) for their encouragement.
TFTC.

Had to come back for this one... but we managed to find it this time. Great hiding spot.
Boy's and I couldn't find this on our first visit. Will have a look another time
Finally we get decent summer weather. Found this quickly due to accurate coords. Thanks again tmann.
3.55pm. This is more like the others in this series. Took quite a few minutes to locate. Have to award a favourite point this time.
Thank you. David.
Thank you. David.
Arrived at GZ after a nice winter's stroll from Otaihanga domain. Upon reading the hint we had a pretty good idea of what we were looking for. After a short search our hunch was confirmed and cache was in hand. Yet another great unique hide from the Tmann. TFTC
Took a little while hinting to find this one. Eventually a comment in a log earlier helped - be methodical and eventually the cache was in hand. Nice container. Thanks for the cache and glad I didn't have to come back to search again.
Once I loaded up the GPS it was soon in hand as GZ was accurately revealed. The iPhone was all over the place. Love the container and a nice simple hide. The beach was not very inviting today, so we raced back to the car for some warm shelter. TFTC
Nicely crafted container thanks, found after hint from OC as my GPS had me too close to the beach. Thanks for the cache, awesome scenic location.
At last! Peter and Gwen and I finally found it! I swear we had looked in that very spot a couple of times before too! Well hidden . Thanks for the cache tmann, you certainly kept us guessing with this one!
Found this one after a short search just as it was getting dark. After not turning up anything in the first instance I went back to the car and got a torch which helped considerably. Very well hidden, coordinates are good and accurate although they don't distinguish which side of the path the cache is on.. Signed log, TFTC
Heading south on the coast. Popped in here and made the find.
After a bit of fishing around we made this one to be straightforward. Cache in order; log signed, then safely re-hidden, just as found.
Beautiful sunny, warm day on the Kapiti Coast. Can this be autumn I wondered to myself?
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too
The Turtle strikes again!

Cache # 3,084 - a nice short stroll to the GZ, and then a very slow and methodical hunt for what I needed. Eventually found it, and a nice hide as expected. Liked the cache container a lot. All well with the cache, and glad to have done this in dry weather (started to rain a little just as I left). TNLNSL. TFTC!

I have learned that I need to up my game when I attempt to find a cache placed by tmann421. The level of difficulty is often above that for an average cache.
I needed a few minutes to sight this treasure even though my GPSr was happy with the supplied coordinates.

A nice straight forward find today before searching for somewhere out of the wind to eat our lunch. Nice container.

#7514. Parked on Stonewall Grove for a short walk. GZ was all quiet on arrival. Found after a short search. Nice hide. Took the container and continued walking to the beach, where it was very popular today. The cache was in excellent condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.
Returned to the access way. Quickly replaced and continued walking back to the car.

Woo-hoo! FTF at 10.34am.
This was good timing for me as the notification came through just as I was about to head up this way for a meeting. Luckily I had enough time to spare for a quick diversion to investigate this new cache.
The nicely placed container was found after a brief search.
Thanks very much Tmann for another good one.

A quick find after Mermaid man so 2TF. Lovely area. Lots of people walking on the beach. Worth a FP. TFTC.
I was sure I could get my FFT today - day off work, spotted notification quickly and not too far away. Off we went and found after a little search - disappointed to find 2 others had beaten me to it but a lovely cache in a beautiful area. I shall continue my mission ................ TFTC
