Was on my way to Dwellingup for a couple of nights as i volunteer on the railway and decided to finally get this series all the while watching the Nanga fire get bigger and bigger. Thanks for the cache which was a quick easy find and for the series pommieparkin2.
This is our third and final day of our lovely long weekend in the Dwellingup area. Taurus Six and I started the day with a train ride on the Hotham Valley Railway, which was very quaint and a pleasant experience. After a drop of rain first thing the bush was smelling particularly nice and it looked quite fresh and alive. Given we had cleared up most geocaches around the whole Dwellingup district over the last few days , today our geocaching plan was to head back to Bunbury the long way via North Dandelup and the Lakes Road until we rejoined the Kwinana Freeway collecting as many caches along the way as practical . Wow the road was very busy with everyone heading home after the long weekend . This was our eighth cache find of the day . We have both been to Windermere and had a lovely time there including a boat ride on the lake . Therefore this one gets a favourite point also for the nice walk and clever cache at the end. Thanks for the cache Pommie Parkin 2
Caching around Perth and the west coast for a few weeks. TFTC. A great natural camo on this one
Loved this beauty! Perfect camo!
We did not know there were so many kennels out here, good info to know.
Fave point added for creativity and cleverness
Thanks for the cache pommieparkin2

Heading down to Bunbury for WAGB and opted to cross over from the freeway to SWH via Lakes Road so I could pick up this series on the way. Well I know where to come if I ever need to kennel my dog, every other property is a doggie-hotel! Enjoyed the short bush walk to GZ and once there spotted the host straight away. Nice camo job though - have a fave point No problems here today - TFTC
Cruising around picking up a few caches that I had missed on prior trips or had no previous luck on.
Beautiful day to be out exploring
Great camo. No dogs! Favourite point added

What a lovely tribute to Mr PP2! I've enjoyed reading about the Lakes District. My parents were originally from the UK and that was their fave place to visit. A quick find here whilst doing a few caches enroute to Collie to watch Deefa71 do laps at the Motorplex. TFTC
Enjoyed the walk into this one, apart from the leavings of pooches we had to dodge.
Once at GZ the cache was found quickly by the adults while the geo-kids had to adjust their expectations to finally get the find also.

SirFancy and I picked up the geo-twins from basketball and started heading south to Pinjarra for lunch.
Once we had finished a bite to eat and run past nanny’s new place we had a look at the map for some caches to find.
After looking at the Lake District caches every time I’ve been down visiting mum decided that today was the day to get them knocked off.
We had a blast making our way between caches and Mr Z & Mr T were wrapped when they discovered they could signal the passing trucks to honk their horns.
We finished today with 13 finds, 0 DNF’s and a stop by a previously found TB hotel to swap some bugs.

Thanks pommieparkin2 for placing this cache for me to find, this is find number 3074 for me.

Thank you pommieparkin2 for placing and maintaining this cache.
Never trust a hungry dog to watch you food- unknown wise person.
We had a lovely drive around finding these caches with the names relating to the Lake District in the UK. We lived in England close to this beautiful area and have visited each of the landmarks! We found this cache with the great cammo for which we give a favourite, signed the log and returned as found. Thanks pommieparkin2 for bringing back to us wonderful memories and for placing this cache.
(Catching up on some late logs.)
The Better Half and I were doing a day of caching before heading for the event at South Yunderup later today.
This was one of the caches we found today.
Cache found without problems. Log signed and cache returned as found.

Out and about caching while the rain held off for us. We parked up and made the walk to gz with the geohounds leading the way. Once at gz we spotted the cool camo after a quick search. We added our names to your log and returned your cache back to where it lives. Favourite coming up for the cool camo and a nice spot to walk the geopooches. TFTC pommieparkin2.
Enjoying a caching afternoon with axell33 and the geopups. We made our way to gz, the pups loving the run here. This is one of my favourite camo's. A good hide in a good spot! Thanks for the cache and greetings from Baldivis.
such a clever hide, even being vertically challenged i signed the log and replaced it .. just aha.

Streaking around the area with Geotrakka to collect a few caches today. Thanks
Out for a days caching down to Mandurah with Cravo10 to cleanup a few recently solved puzzles and some pesky traditionals that have been on “the list” for too long.
Started caching around 6am to beat the weekday traffic and managed just under 30 finds for the days work with some nice walks through the yunderup and general Mandurah area.
Special thanks to the COs for their caches and choosing to share these locations with us.
Thanks again.
Last find for the day and I didn’t muggle it this time. Fav

Great cache. Blends in very well with its surroundings. Was in the area doing The Drovers horse series and had time to pick up a few more smileys in the area. A lovely day of caching. Tftc
In Pinjarra for a couple of days so today is grabbing a few caches day
Have wanted to get in and finish this series since I managed one of them back in July. Oh well better late than never
A great walk along the track and thankfully no bush bashing.
Well no way was this for me but I did sight it on approach Mr dimor just managed then we had to get log out as it hadn’t been put back in the lid I nearly resorted to taking a photo of log but again Mr dimor managed. Put my name on paper and we put it back as best we could for two shorties. Mr dimor said it is lodged in just not all the way, sorry after stretching a few times he didn’t have one more stretch left in him
TFTC and we know which member of PP2 placed this one
Another fav coming your way. Haven’t given out this many in a caching day for so long, probably why I have 100 spare

Found with IQ0 and lots of friendly flies. Being height restricted sometimes just does not work in ones favorNothing like looking like a blue smurf[:o)]Thanks for the cache Pommieparkin2
Happy to log a find here today with Gypsy Roaming..... now I can't say it was a hard cache just a little awkward. On returning from the car after going to get a helpful tool, I found Gypsy Roaming covered in blue ink ....sometimes she just can't wait, so she had tried to use her lovely pen as a helper with spectacular results !!! Looked like a Blue munchkin.

Lovely walk with a few wild flowers starting to bloom. Sadly we couldn't spot this one today. TFTH pommieparkin2.
After meeting the Co at some recents events I have been wanting to find some of their caches. Today with the geo husband at home willing to look after the kids for a couple of hours I was off to hunt some down. All caches found easily, this cache will require a new log soon as it is showing some wear and tear.I really enjoyed this series. Tftc
I looked at this series not so long ago as I was undertaking some puzzle solving. Nice effort in the series, and I could see from the images that this theme is identifying a region significantly different for the locations of the caches.
Not a lot of traffic in the area today, and I got to stop close to most of the locations to make relatively quick finds.

Thanks pommieparkin2 for bringing me to this location. I found the cache at 11:28:00 AM. This was my 11 Find for today out of a Total number of 22 for Today. The cache was found in Good Condition and I returned the cache as I found it.

We had heard the COs were visiting the Lakes District so thought we would head down to catch up with them . We couldn't find them so decided to find their caches instead. Pleasant walk into GZ and soon spied the clever camo. A fave for this one.

This was our first full day of caching from our base at Mandurah, many of the caches we found, belonging to the various series, which appear as green snakes on our geo map of this part of WA.
Cache notes brought back a few memories, we spent time in the Lakes District last year. A FP here for the memories and a very clever cache hide.
Satellites today had our GZ 6 metres SW of where we found the cache.
Thanks Clan-Wallace for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

Hi there Clan-Wallace.
We found your cache **"The Lake District-Windermere"** at 11:46:00 AM today. This cache makes our find count 15036.
We started the day off by nominating a cache some distance away from our camp site and then took a route that was mostly determined by the next closest cache according to our GPS. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip around the area & ended up finding quite a variety of container types, and sizes hidden along our route.
We awarded this cache a favourite point for the ingenious construction.
We found 16 caches today & DNF'd 4. Thanks for placing the cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Nothing.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Ooooh we like this one! Had a nice little 4wd adventure in the bush. Clever!
An early Sunday morning and while the rest of the household slept, I decided to dart out for a few caches.
A nice quick find here I will welcome okay. The lock is getting a bit damp but is still usable.
Clan-Wallace - Kyzabra found your cache The Lake District-Windermere . This is my find #5 today. The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing and maintaining your cache.!

Very clever Mr Clan Wallace, as I am sure that you are responsible for this one.
Muggle Hubby was very impressed by your ingenuity and consequently gave you his favourite point for the day.

Hi there Clan-Wallace - We found The Lake District-Windermere today - our find # 3882. After arriving and setting up at Fairbridge for The Big Event this weekend I had a free afternoon so decided to head out with Geocaching in mind. The cache was a quick find and sign and is in good condition. SL.Thanks to Clan-Wallace for the cache.
A nice short stroll to GZ, but I admit I was concerned about a micro in the bush as I made my way to hiding spot... On arrival, my concerns were unfounded as I spotted the cache on approach and quickly had it in hand... Phew... [^]
Name added to the log and container back in place, I headed back from where I came.
Cheers Clan-Wallace.

Love caches like this one! Started to rain on the walk to the cache, luckily it didn't take long to find. Tftc
A beautiful day for caching and a nice easy run with m4yb who had found previously.
So nice to ponder the name sake on the other side of the globe, one area in the UK I have not ventured yet, hopefully one day.
A nice walk into to GZ for this one and then I was wondering how to get the log out! I think the host may have swollen a touch, luckily m4yb had some tools on her keychain. But this one worth a fav for sure.
Thanks Clan-Wallace for another of your hides being converted to a smily.

I was out in the area with Mistraluna helping to place some more caches in the MS series.

Out with Kylestell grabbing the new series. Loved this one, awesome. .. Thanks for the cool find. ..
Was on babysitting duty for the afternoon, so decided it would be the perfect opportunity to tackle this series. I had been itching to complete it ever since I had solved the puzzle a few days ago.
This was the fourth stop for us on Lakes Rd. We pulled up as close as we could to GZ and after short stroll started our search. I initially looked at the wrong level, but then I spotted it! I had done a similar cache before, but this one was nicely executed. I would give it a fave, but I gave my last one to the mystery! TFTC Clan-Wallace

A nice cooler Sunday afternoon and a couple of hours free to do some caching, so we decided to tackle the Lakes District series and a couple of other unfound caches along the way. A nice variety of caches and locations along a road we have thought needed some caches for some time. Locations were nicely placed given the general lack of parking along this area.
A nicely constructed cammo hide, which was definitely in place. A favourite point for the cammo.
Thanks for the cache Clan-Wallace [^] - we made the find and the cache was in good order and the log dry .
This was cache # 6 of 9 and 0 today giving us a total cache count of 2942.

My second find in the series and a 2TF for me. Another great Clan-Wallace cache in excellent condition and replaced exactly as found. I'm enjoying reading about the Lakes District, who knows, with family now over there (yes, Aussies moving to the UK!) I might get to visit one day
